Description:

Thank you for your interest in this 1965 Ford Mustang located in our Tampa location. This car is a true piece of Ford history that simply turns heads anywhere it cruises by. The Twilight Turquoise green paint scheme with black vinyl top have made this car really stand out against other Mustangs in its class and is the way this car came from the factory when it was new. This rare 200 CI 6 cylinder and 3 speed manual transmission have been completely rebuilt just under 11,000 miles ago. The 200 CI 6 is rated at 120 horse power but sure feels like more. Contrary to popular belief, the first model year for the Ford Mustang was 1965. Mustangs produced between March 9th and July 31st of 1964 are often coined the 1964 ½ Ford Mustang by enthusiasts, but for all intents and purposes, the cars are 1965 models on paper. The 1965 Mustang listed is built after the time line and is an actual 1965 with the 200 inline 6. This particular Mustang has been restored and redone about 7 years ago and has a 170 sticker on the air breather but it is in fact the 200 due to there being 5 freeze plugs in the block. It has recently had new tires and brakes put on it. The overall condition of the paint, interior, and engine in my opinion would rate as show quality. This car has many options like Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, black vinyl interior, and even white wall tires which makes the cars driving ability comfortable. If you are looking for the first classic car investment or even adding to one and need that super clean Mustang, this is the car for you. This 1965 Mustang is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. If you would like to see it in person, come to our Tampa Showroom, located at 351 30th Street NE Ruskin, FL 33570. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST. For sale in our Chicago showroom is this beautiful 1985 Chevrolet El Camino. Beginning life in Australia, coupe utility vehicles were a hit for many years preceding the birth of the legendary Chevrolet El Camino in 1959. Twenty six years after the first El Camino was put on the market, this fifth generation Choo Choo hit the road, ready for anything. This vehicle is powered by a 350 cubic inch crate engine and backed by a Turbo Hydramatic 350 transmission, both new at time of installation. The stock rear end sports a 3.73 gear ratio and has successfully seen just under 48,000 miles, while the engine and transmission have a mere 1,500 miles since new. Barely broken in, this beautiful ‘ute’ runs like a champ. The black base and clear coat paint makes you wish there was a lifeguard on duty, just in case you start to drown in the depths of this gorgeous exterior. Lifting the handle and opening the door, you are welcomed by the smooth burgundy interior that gives a perfect yet subtle contrast to the even darker surroundings. Whether inside the car staring at the road ahead, or outside the car looking at the special Choo Choo edition front fascia, it is impossible not to be impressed by one of the most underrated vehicles known throughout the world. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Packing a 5.7l LS1 under the hood paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission makes this one speedy ride. 2002 was the last year for the 4th Generation of the Camaro, and also of the F-body platform that had brought the Camaro and its sister car the Pontiac Firebird to the market in 1967. This clean Camaro convertible is covered in a crisp coat of black paint, skinned in a black leather interior, and covered with a black cloth top. Factory cars dont get sharper than this! With not a modification to be found, this clean Camaro is exactly as GM built it with just a touch over 43,000 original miles. Drop the ragtop, crank the radio, throw on some cheap sunglasses, and blaze on down the highway with a smile on your face and not a care in the world. Even though the healthy V8 is thumping over 300 horsepower, fuel economy will keep your wallet full. Description:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a nasty 1982 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Clone. The Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a two-door coupé that was produced by Chevrolet through six generations from model year 1970 to model year 2007. This once timid 1982 Monte Carlo has turned into a fire breathing, earth pounding, head turning Super Sport clone with a take no prisoner attitude that is STREET LEGAL!!!! . Pumping life into this beast is a 454 CID V8, .040 over, steel rods, cast crank, Comp hydraulic cam, roller rocker arms, oval port heads, Victor Jr. intake oval port, Holley 950 double pumper carburetor, MSD distributer, MSD 6AL box and blaster 3 coil, Miloden 7 qt oil pan, ARP bolts(head, rod, main), SFI flex plate, Taylor 10mm spark plug wires, chrome alternator, March Billet pulleys, remote oil filter, forged pistons, and a 3500 stall. Phew!!! Whats this all mean? Not only 550+ horsepower, but also 535 lb ft of torque are getting cranked out of this incredible Big Block Chevy. This power is then routed through a Turbo 400 transmission, with TCI aluminum trans pan, braided lines, custom transmission cross member, Hurst quarter stick, Hurst roll control, drive shaft loop, and balanced drive shaft. Putting this power to the pavement is a rear end built and assembled by Curry Enterprise, a 9 inch Ford rear end narrowed 2 inches on each side, with Curry 31 spline axles, and a Detroit locker with 3.70 gears. The rear frame rails have been moved in 3 inches and its been mini-tubbed. Stopping this Chevy isnt a problem with the Wilwood 4 piston calipers in the front and dual piston calipers in the rear. Wilwood vented rotors are in the front and rear as well. While looking underneath, also note the gas shocks all around, Hotchkis upper and lower control arms with tubular lateral links in the rear, and Hotchkis upper A-arms in the front. In the front are F-body spindles, rebuilt lower A-arms and all new steering components including tie rod ends, adjustment sleeves, center link, idler arm, hangers, bushings, sway bar bushings, end link, brake lines and fittings. Temperature is not a problem, the engine is kept cool by a Griffin aluminum radiator, closed radiator panel and TCI 15-1/2 x 10 inch transmission cooler. The exhaust gives this animal the roar it deserves. It all starts with the 2 inch Hooker Super Competition headers and followed up with 3 inch Torque Tech exhaust and 3 inch 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers. All of this is welded and band clamped, and theres even stainless steel header bolts. If that wasnt enough, all of the exhaust is also powder coated. But thats not all, the undercarriage is a satin black, gloss gray and gloss purple. If you can tear yourself away from looking underneath this Monte, then take a step back and look at the exterior. The body is draped with Toyota Super White paint #040. The engine compartment is even painted with a high gloss black. The custom Burgundy interior has an embroidered head rest and dash. Autometer gauges encompass this interior. The trunk also is custom with a custom fuel cell cover. Under the custom cover is a RCI 16 gallon fuel cell. The fuel is fed by a Holley blue pump with fuel filter. The Weld Prostar aluminum polished wheels are all wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial T/A rubber. Photos and this awesome description simply do not describe how nice this car is. This is a true MUST SEE! If you are interested please feel free to make arrangements to see this car and be prepared to be anything but disappointed. If you like attention this finely detailed Monte Carlo is for you, it can be yours with one phone call!!! No disappointments on this beauty! To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28/SS. This 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 represents a significant step back into the muscle car wars. But all you really need to know right now is this is nice car with serious V8 power. Theres no mistaking the fourth-generation Camaro with its long sporty profile, cool integrated rear spoiler, and sleek pointed hood that hides the LT1 power underneath. Plus, black is the perfect color after all it was the original color of the very first mass production vehicle. So, youre looking at a modern classic that will continue to look timeless. This is a low-mileage vehicle for its age (averaging about 4,000 miles annually) and it received the right care over the last 23 years. The interior is finished in none another than matching black leather. The supportive bucket seats are both grippy in the corners and comfortable for all-day drives. Carpets, door panels, and the dash all remain in quite good condition - yet another sign of a well-maintained and respected car. Its also easy to understand why someone would love this so much, because its quite a well-equipped machine. This includes a power drivers seat, power locks, keyless entry, dual airbags, cruise control, tilt wheel, and the factory AM/FM/CD stereo. Plus, thanks to factory air conditioning, you can enjoy longer cruises into the summer season. A modern classic means modern fuel-injected power. This is the top-of-the-line 350 cubic-inch V8 that was shared with the contemporary Corvette. The LT1 motor was rated at 275 hp for this Z/28, and since this Camaro is such a well-preserved machine, youll be glad to know the V8 is original, too. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is pleased to offer this 1979 VW Beetle convertible with an air cooled 1600cc engine and 5 speed transmission. The 1979 model year was the last year for the convertible Beetle which makes this car even more desirable. There were many upgrades done to the Beetle throughout its long production history and this car incorporates many of those improvements. The Macpherson strut front suspension gives this Beetle better handling and ride than earlier models. Unlike many vintage VWs that have had questionable and not always beneficial “modifications done, this Bug is just as the engineers at Volkswagen who designed these cars intended. The body looks like it was repainted sometime in the past in a Turquoise, and is what GCC would consider a driver quality paint job. The Black soft top has no tears and works well, and the black interior is also in good original condition. The engine has a complete chrome dress up kit installed and adds a bit of extra interest. This car runs, drives and shifts as it should and is ready to take you on your next open road adventure, so put the top down, let the sun shine and let the good times roll in this classic VW Beetle convertible! Remember yesterdays thinkers are todays buyers so dont wait. Options for this 79 Beetle include: vinyl interior, seat belts, JVC am/fm/cd stereo, argent wheels, whit wall radials. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to welcome this Black 6 Speed Manual C5 Corvette! Back ground on the C5. The C5 (1997- 2004) was the most completely redesigned Corvette since the Corvettes inception in 1953. Production of the C5 Corvette actually began in 1996 but quality/manufacturing issues saw its release to the public in mass delayed until 1997, and continuing through the 2004 model year. The C5 was a completely new design that featured many new concepts and manufacturing breakthroughs that would be carried forward to the C6 & C7. It had a top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h) and was judged by the automotive press as a breakthrough with vastly improved dynamics in nearly every area over the previous C4 design. The list of all new innovations include: • Industry leading 0.29 drag coefficient • Near 50/50 weight distribution (actually 51%F/49%R) due to the all new powertrain layout • The first Corvette to actually use an upper rear suspension arm, instead of the drive shafts performing double duty as the upper locator arm • An all new chassis design that was more akin to a stressed monocoque than the former ladder designs which featured an all new stressed center tunnel design for increased torsional rigidity • All new hyrdoformed side rails increased torsional rigidity more than 4 times that of the C4 and previous Corvette generations • All new suspension geometries, in which the actual chassis widths and lengths were changed to affect the track and wheelbase dimensions. This was in contrast to simply changing the location of a mounting point that may not truly affect chassis geometry • All new production of a rear mounted transmission, including a torque(drive)shaft from the front of the engine to the rear transmission • Reduction of over 1,000 parts from the previous C4 • All new, never before seen active handling (it was the first ever stability control for a Corvette, and not just traction control for the 98/99 - 2004) • Lower weight (3,219 lbs) compared to C4 (Note: this weight for the 97-99 model years for the base coupe was still lighter than the C6 that replaced it) • Greatly improved quality • Improved fuel economy • Magna-Steer electronic power steering assistance • First ever staggered tire size (for production Corvettes), with smaller sizes in the front than the rear. This was done to improve CD. • First ever twin fuel tanks, one behind each seat, aided the packaging of the C5; it, along with virtually all of the C5s innovations have been incorporated in the C6 & C7 models as well. • First ever dual durometer suspension bushings to improve ride quality without sacrificing cornering grip and vehicle handling dynamics • Large trunk was purposefully designed to accommodate two full golf bags • First ever bonding to frame for body panels manufacturing in Corvette production history • Super stiff chassis (24-25 Hz) made primarily of hydroformed steel. Starting with the C5 Z06, and then carried through the C6 and C7 models the chassis tunnel cover thickness was increased to aid rigidity from the relatively thin Base C5. The C6 tunnel plate actually mounts easily to the C5 model for an easy upgrade. Note: The C7 has adjusted some of its welding patterns and thickness points to. • ALL new LS1 aluminum engine (Gen III small block); it featured individual ignition coils for each cylinder (instead of a distributor and a single coil), aluminum block and pistons, a very deep skirt design for increased durability, and many other technical and manufacturing innovations. This third-generation small block V8s complete redesign also featured a new cylinder firing order to improve idle and rev smoothness. It was initially rated at 345 bhp and 350 lb?ft, The new engine, combined with the new body and its low 0.29 drag coefficient, was able to achieve up to 28 mpg on the highway (Source WikipediA) Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of American made muscle in our Denver Showroom.
