Description:

We invite you to turn your attention to this perfectly crafted 1966 Chevrolet C10, which has enjoyed a completed frame-off restoration in 2018. It only has 3,024 odometer miles, and 2,300 of them were put on it during the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour. BACKGROUND: The first-generation Chevrolet C10 (1960-1966) was launched in the fall of 1959 as a new body style of a light pick-up truck that featured many firsts. This restored 1966 Chevrolet C10 has new, show-quality Mandarin Orange Metallic paint. The body condition underneath isn’t hiding any flaws – it has new metal in the floor, cab corners, rockers, and roof skin. The body lines and gaps are what you’d expect for a truck of this quality. It has been sealed inside and out with a bed liner spray. The hood, fenders, inner fenders have all been treated with rust inhibitor. In addition, a hidden latch has been installed on the new bed and tailgate. Other new items on this truck are the Optima battery, windshield, rear window, side windows with vent, door handles, gas tank (relocated to the rear) with billet fill door, fuel lines, aluminum radiator, aluminum transmission cooler, all LED lights, complete wiring, mirrors with LED turn signals, grill, cam bearings and freeze out plugs, rod and main bears, melling oil pump, high torque starter, flex plate & damper, aluminum heads 64CC/202SS, 1.5 roller rockers, 750 quick fuel carburetor, aluminum air cleaner, aluminum water neck, chrome timing cover & oil pan, 65000 volt HEI distributor, aluminum V belt pulleys, aluminum air condition bracket w/508 sanders compressor, aluminum power steering bracket & pulley w/chrome power steering pump, and all new synthetic fluids. The interior is styled with new two-tone saddle leather. Also new are the seats, seat belts, one-touch power windows, upholstery, dash components, carpet, headliner, door panels, and sun visors. The instruments are Dolphin gauges. A custom dash has been installed to incorporate the gauges, A/C vents and controls. The custom console has stainless cup holders and a new Sony touch screen head unity with 6.5” speakers that sound incredible. Sound deadeners have been added upon the new carpet. Old Air brand air conditioning blows a cold 43 degrees. Underneath the hood is a new 383 crate motor with a cast iron block, aluminum heads and intakes. It has a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system, billet aluminum pulley set and chrome A/C pump and alternator. The headers are hooked to a 3” diameter stainless exhaust and has magnaflow mufflers and turndowns in front of the rear axle. The transmission is a new Monster brand 700R4 overdrive transmission with a very mild 2200 stall converter. A one-piece drive shift connects to the rebuilt stock 3.73 rear axle with a billet cover, which is the correct gearing for this package. The rest of the drivetrain and suspension has been rebuilt and all in perfect condition. It has a 12 Bolt Rear POSI end and 3.73 gear ratio. This 1966 Chevrolet C10 is an original short bed, 115” wheelbase truck, not a cut down long bed. It has been lowered 4 inches in the front and 6 in the rear. The frontend has CPP upper and lower control arms, lowering spindles, shocks and sway bar. The CPP turnbuckle steering arms connects the close-ration power steering box to the wheels. The rear has CPP trailing arms, shocks, sway bar, C-channnel and shock relocators. It is a coil spring rear end. The tires and wheels are chrome Ridler 650 and 20” front and rear Falken tires. As you can see in the video, this truck handles great and rides very smooth for a short bed lowered truck. The brakes are Wilwood disc only all four wheels with a larger 14” fronts and 12” rear. Wilwood manual master cylinder with an adjustable proportional valve and all new stainless lines throughout. The parking brake has also been built with all new components. To view this 1966 Chevrolet C10 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. You may not notice but the wings/vent windows for the doors have been removed for a cleaner look and there is also no fuel filler door. The new fuel filler is in the trunk. Finishing off this beautiful custom build is an all metal custom tilt front end. The original seams for the hood and fender are all still in place with serious fasteners beneath the good all hinged on the original bumper brackets. The interior is of course custom and was performed by Todd Ghan out of Springfield Missouri. The seats are from a 2002 Chrysler Concorde and the material is white alliante. A custom center console that flows to the back seat, which of course are also custom. The rear seats are original 55s but have 11 inches removed to allow for the custom center console. The rest of the interior includes 4 custom arm rest, billet door and window cranks. The carpet is a short nap in dark blue and the trunk has a similar treatment. Inside the trunk are two 9 batteries and behind the rear seat are speakers, an amplifier and a 10 inch sub woofer all tied to a Pioneer CD player. The engine is a 383 crate engine pumping out a healthy 425 horsepower and is mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive by Monster Transmissions. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Houston showroom is this all metal Über-custom 1937 Ford 78 Coupe. This multiple-award winning custom is an amazing example of the combined talents of a number of the top names in the custom street rod world. It has its own name, even; having been dubbed Grand Larsony as a tribute to its owner, who found it in a barn in Colorado back in 1984. He found it in fully operational condition, and with only 9965 miles on the clock, he could tell that it had great potential to be restored to its original glory. However, its new owner had a vision that went far beyond a mere restoration. He began with reaching out to Darrell Mayabb, who was contracted to come up with a design that would incorporate what a 37 Ford would look like with a 39 Deluxe front end, a 40 hood, a 48 rear window, and a lethal dose of chop, channel, section, and shave, all rounded and smoothed into one cohesive bad-axe rod. From Darrell’s concept design, it then went to Donn Lowe, of Lowes Customs, where it was all brought together into a one-piece body, all steel and leaded, and wrapped in the paint scheme that Darrell Mayabb cooked up. It hit the streets in Oct 1988 at the Lake Havasu City “Run to the Sun”, where it was a top ten award winner in its first event; and it has never looked back, grabbing attention and awards at outings around the country. In due time, “Grand Larsony” spent time with Boyd Coddington’s American Hot Rods for a paint update, new interior, and drivetrain. The new paint was masterfully laid down by Charley Hutton, and the interior was given a completely new full custom leather interior by Gabe’s. This work of art now represents the best of these creative masters. Since its refresh, Grand Larsony has rubbed shoulders with the best: it was featured at the Hot Rod Homecoming event in Pomona, California in 2013, honoring its 1990 Hot Rod magazine feature. It later appeared on Wayne Carinis show, “Chasing Cars” in the Tribute to Boyd Coddington episode. Additional Body details: chopped 2”, Sectioned 2”, frenched headlights and taillights, 48 Ford rear window, door corners rounded, rolled rear pan, 39 Ford front fenders, 40 hood grafted to 37 humpback body, all seams filled and leaded, hidden door hinges, and steel running boards molded to body. Additional Interior details: English leather by Gabe with black inserts, leather-covered dash with aluminum insert, VDO vintage gauges, custom center console stack with hidden switches and stereo, Alpine receiver/cd with 10 speakers and amp rack, power windows, aluminum tilt/telescope steering column, leather-wrapped wheel, and custom-built aluminum sill plates. Additional powertrain details: fresh ZZ 383 CID V8 roller motor with polished intake and Holley carb, Zex nitrous kit with purge kit, chrome plated aluminum accessories, custom valve covers and air cleaner with matching accents, 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with Art Carr valvebody, and Borla stainless exhaust with custom oval rear exit. Additional chassis details: completely reworked frame, filled and molded, Heidts super ride, painted and chrome plated, chrome plated Heidts IRS rear, and Wilwood disc brakes. With only 384 miles since a restoration update, maintaining and paying respect to its heritage builders, it is reliable, fast, and beautiful. Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this sleek 2003 Z06 CRC Corvette. Between the modern powertrain and classic styling, this car is most certainly an eye catcher. Classic Reflection Coachworks (CRC) Has been around since 1994 when they started work on the first prototype using a C4 Vette as the base. The concept sparked the interest of many people and several inquiries came in on how to purchase the car. Later, CRC Began using C5 vettes as the base and designed a new body to reflect the 1962 Corvette. Using cutting edge computer modeling software, the company shaped the new bodies and began production. Under the carbon fiber hood of this beast is supercharged LS6 V8 engine. The engine in this car is very tame and driver friendly when you want it to be, but also an absolute monster when called upon. Sending an intoxicating note into the atmosphere is a custom exhaust system featuring long tube headers, SLP catalytic converters, 3 SLP midpipe, and corsa extreme mufflers. Sending all of that boosted power to the rear end is a six speed manual transmission that shifts firmly through the gears while still maintaining a somewhat long throw for comortable, easy shifting. Moving outward, the exterior of this car is what makes it such a unique and valuable automobile. The CRC Carbon fiber conversion package alone costs more than a brand new Corvette. And that price doesnt even include the cost of the car used in the conversion, or extra options. Covering the exterior of this beauty is bright red paint with black accenting. Supporting each corner of this beauty are chrome alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires (265 in the front, 295 in rear). This being a modern sportscar, of course it has disc brakes all around for safetey and performance. Upon entering this modern classic, the driver will be greeted by classy tan leather seats that are in very good condition and feature an embroidered CRC logo in the head rests. The door sills also feature a CRC logo, this time in the form of a chrome trim piece. The door panels and dash have also been redone to match the seats. Overall, the leather in this car is much nicer than that of stock C5 Vettes. Ensuring that the road noise and brutal Texas heat stay out of the cabin is Dynamat installed throughout car. When it comes time to listen to some driving music, the driver will appreciate the very nice AM/FM radio/CD player. Navigation is also embeded in the head unit to aid on those loger drives. Ths car being converted from a C5 Z06, one can expect all of the amenities found in one. These features include items like cruise control, power seats, tilt/teloscoping wheel, anti theft system, and power brakes/steering. Overall, the interior of this car is a much nicer place to be than an original C5. For more information on this 2003 Z06 CRC Corvette located in our Houston showroom, come by and see us or call the showroom at (832)243-6220, or email the showroom at Houston@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this one of a kind, single owner, 2003 Chevrolet SSR for sale in our Detroit Showroom. This Chevrolet SSR is not your typical SSR. In the world of SSRs, it is the equivalent of hitting a 3-point, buzzer beating, championship winning shot that makes the crowd go wild. This very special SSR has been made as a tribute car to the 2004 Championship season of the Detroit Pistons. This car is dressed to the teeth with basketball themed attire, from the basketball themed seats to the complete miniature replica of The Palace in the bed of the truck. The car sports a custom and very clean shade of Tangerine Pearl paint with professionally done airbrush murals of the Pistons logos and the City of Detroit. The car is powered by a 5.3L LS3 V8 which is paired to an automatic transmission, making this car a blast to drive. If the paint and art on the car was not enough to get the attention of others already, mat your foot to the floor and listen to that V8 scream through the aftermarket exhaust which is sure to turn heads anywhere. The interior of the car continues the overall Pistons theme by adding basketball themed ebony leather with orange suede bucket seats to caress you and a passenger. The car also has basketball themed speaker covers, shift knob, gauges, and door locks. Continuing to the rear of the car, the trunk has a professionally built miniature basketball court which has over 4,500 individual boards making up the court and almost 600 individual miniature seats. That is not the only thing on this court. You will also find over 10 signatures on the court including George Blaha, Carlos Delfino, Lindsey Hunter, and Chip Foose, to name a few. With so much detail into the truck, it is not surprising that it comes with many different options to keep your ride comfortable at all times. Other options on this 2003 Chevrolet SSR include: A/C, custom engraved wheels, power brakes, power seats, cruise control, performance tires, power steering, retractable power hardtop, GPS/NAV, power locks with keyless entry, CD player, heated seats, power windows, and leather interior. For more information on this unique 2003 Chevrolet SSR, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or give out friendly and knowledgeable staff a call at (313)-982-3100

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a stunning 1939 Plymouth Road King P-8 street rod. This award winning street rod has been beautifully assembled with help from some of the best in the business. This all steel 39 has been professionally stripped and prepped for one of the nicest black paintjobs you will find. The body modifications are subtle, such as removing side vents, bumpers and mounts removed, and the addition of a custom rear roll pan which houses the single exhaust outlet. The body style is so beautiful, there is no need to chop or channel, by simply smoothing and simplifying, a custom looking body is the result. This sedan sits on its original chassis that has been modified to accommodate a Mustang II front suspension and air ride and has been powder coated for durability. The Mustang II setup is from Lakeshore Fabrication which features air ride, Heidts 2 drop spindles, and Unisteer steering. The brakes are supplied by Wilwood and are drilled and slotted disc in all four corners. The rear suspension features a 4 bar setup with air ride. The rear end is a 9 Ford with a 3.26 final drive ratio and limited slip. The Plymouth sits on one off Foose wheels, 18 in front and 20 in the rear wrapped in Nitto tires. Under the hood is a hot LS2 GM crate engine. These LS engines have become the go-to for street rodders looking for a powerful and reliable drive train. The LS2 is mostly stock but does have a custom made air intake which utilizes a classic style air cleaner from a 56 Buick Nailhead. To stay true to the car, custom valve covers have been made as well to sport the Plymouth name. The LS2 breathes through Sanderson headers and dual exhaust that exits through a center outlet. The transmission is a 4L80-E automatic with overdrive. The interior is very tastefully done with saddle leather throughout. Wood grain on the dash and window surrounds give a classy look as well as the original steering wheel. Modern comforts like power seat and air conditioning are nicely integrated so they dont look out of place. To quench your thirst during those summer month car shows, the center console doubles as a drink cooler which drains to the outside. The air compressor and battery are nicely hidden behind a panel in the beautifully finished trunk. The entire interior features square weave carpet which adds to the classy look. Overall class and refinement has been kept in mind when building this street rod. Theres no flames, or TV screens, or gaudy colors. The Plymouth still has the spirit of the original car, with the comfort, and performance of a modern car. You can see this 1939 Plymouth Road King P-8 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Description:

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an award winning 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. I will go ahead and say this; no manufacturer will ever make a convertible as pleasing as this again. 1957 was the last year of the second generation body style for the Bel Air. It seems as if they stopped because they knew it couldnt get any better. In 57, Chevrolet introduced the 283 CID V8 engine that produced 283 HP. The option of a fuel injected engine was available and is quite rare these days. This Bel Air offers 220HP 4-Barrel carbureted 283 V8 engine that is backed by an automatic transmission. Both are numbers matching and original to the car. The odometer reads 2,843, which represents the mileage since the frame off restoration was complete. Boasting its original colors, the Chevy shows beautifully in gloss black and is surrounded by chrome. Looking inside the red and silver interior takes you right back to the 50s. Have a seat, turn the key, and operate the automatic convertible top switch and youll be wondering why havent you done this before? The red and silver vinyl interior is paired well with a white convertible top. Options for this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible include: Wonderbar AM Radio, Two Tone Vinyl Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Antenna, Tissue Dispenser, Flameout Vacuum Ashtray, Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires, and Knock-Off Style Hub Caps. The ’57 Chevy is one of the most recognized icons in the Automotive industry. Stylish and Sporty the there’s no doubt that it’s one of America’s best and most loved cars. This 57 Bel Air convertible was awarded the VCCA 1st Place Junior Gold Award in 2011, where it scored 984 out of a possible 1000 points. In 2012 it was awarded the AACA Senior National 1st prize and the Peoples Choice award at the Concours d Elegance in Hilton Head Island, SC. Heres the chance of owning a piece of American history that still serves a purpose. Put on the white rimmed sunglasses and enjoy. Description:

For sale is a 2010 Ferrari California Located in our Indianapolis showroom. The California is a car filled with firsts for Ferrari: the first front-engine V-8, the first use of direct injection, the first seven-speed transmission, the first true launch-control system, the first retractable hardtop, and the first stacked exhaust. The direct injection helps improve mileage and decrease emissions but because the California is heavier than the F430 it shares its engine architecture with, the tuning is optimized to boost torque by 14 lb-ft at the expense of 29 horsepower, for a total of 454 hp and 357 lb-ft. All this power is sent through a Getrag dual-clutch paddle shifted seven speed transmission for smooth acceleration and lightening fast gear changes allowing this Italian grand touring car to sprint to 60mph in just 3.5 seconds and running a ¼ mile in just under 12 seconds at 117mph. This cars ceramic brakes have been fined tuned compared to the other Ferrari’s you’ll fined on the road so they are much more user friendly yet still responsive stopping this car at 60mph in just 100 feet. The California features an all new Chassis to help keep this hard top convertible rigid and agile in the corners. This car is a true driving pleasure as you would expect from Ferrari, the California turns mundane trips out into an experience and turns heads wherever you go. Featuring navigation, leather interior, power everything, self-leveling headlights, stability control, traction control, tire pressure monitoring, carbon fiber driving zone with led steering wheel, cruise control This 2010 Ferrari California for sale is located in our Indianapolis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including a High Def video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this one-of-a-kind 1955 Chevrolet Apache. This truck has had very extensive work done to it and is in extremely good condition. All the work has been performed by Ekstensive Metal Works. Ekstensive Metal Works is better known by their TV show name Texas Metal, which airs on the Velocity channel. Under and through the hood of this super clean truck is a Weiand supercharged 502 CID V8 that runs just as well as it looks. Sending the power to the rear end is a Turbo-400 three-speed transmission. The rear end is a 9 ford that is finished in a gloss black paint. The hood cut-out provides room for the blower and intake to stick through and gives a shaker hood feel to the front of the truck. The massive blower provides an intoxicating whine even when sitting at idle and rivals the volume of the already loud exhaust system which features electric cutouts that dump at the headers. Feeding the gigantic 6-71 blower are two Holley four-barrel carburetors that ensure this beauty doesn’t run out of fuel to burn when under full boost. The fuel is sent to the engine via a polished new fuel tank that enhances the underbody of the truck. Setting the stance of the truck are adjustable coil-over shocks. The truck sits atop polished alloy Intro brand wheels wrapped in Pirelli performance tires. The front tires are 265/30 ZR22 and the rears are 405/25 ZR24. To put the rear tire size into perspective, the widest tires on a production car are on a Lamborghini Aventador SV... and theyre only 355mm wide. When it comes time to stop those massive tires, the driver will appreciate the drilled and slotted Willwood front and rear disc brakes with black painted calipers. Moving outward, the exterior of this truck is in near perfect condition. All the chrome is very nice and in like new condition. The Sierra Sand colored paint is in excellent shape with almost no blemishes or imperfections. The bed wood has been replaced and is in very good condition as well with a deep stain to accent the bed from the paint. Overall, the exterior of this truck is almost perfect. Moving inward, getting into the truck is made classy by the suicide doors. Upon entering the vehicle, the driver will be greeted by light tan leather throughout and a tilt steering wheel. The doors feature a simple, yet elegant stitching pattern that reminds the driver that theyre in a very well-built resto-mod. The leather bucket seats are very comfortable and spacious. Sitting between the two seats is a leather wrapped center console that houses the shifter. The dash of the truck is paint matched to the body and is in just as good condition. This truck also features power brakes and steering for comfortable cruising. Tucked in the dash is a modern CD player/radio that adds to the modern comfort of this beauty. Overall, this is an extremely well-done truck and is probably one of the finest examples of a resto-mod Chevrolet Apache around. To see all the HD pictures and video, please go to http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/HOU/1094/1955-chevrolet-apache. For even more information on this 1955 Chevrolet Apache located in our Houston showroom, come by and see us or contact the showroom at (832) 243-6220, or email the showroom at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.

The 380 was an enhancement of the R107 chassis, which was first used in 1972 by the 350SL and then by the 450SL. This was an extremely popular model in the U.S. for its combination of V-8 power, refined luxury and sporty underneath carriage. The 380-SL was a lighter then its predecessor 450-SL, a 120 pounds lighter to be exact. Thus, it’s new V-8 3.8 liter engine was plenty of power for these vehicles. The new engine was designed with emissions controls in mind while the 450SL’s mill was not, which meant that the two engines were relatively equal in terms of power (155 hp in the 380SL vs. 160 hp in the 450SL) despite the difference in their displacements. Performance was similar for the two cars, as was fuel economy. This 1981 Mercedes Benz 380 SL has been family owned and passed down for over 25 years. All the paint has held up very well over the years. The interior is all original and pops with a bit of woodgrain installed in the dash. Another real stand out feature on this vehicle is those Dayton spoked wired wheels! Most certainly is going to catch anyone’s eye who sees them.
