Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale Showroom is this RED 2003 Ford Thunderbird. In 1955, the Thunderbird was revealed as a personal luxury car and changed over time until production ceased at the end of 1997. In 2002, Ford brought the Thunderbird back as a two-seat model that was available until the end of 2005, during its success Ford produced over 4.4 million Thunderbirds. The eleventh generation had the same two-seat coupe/convertible layout as the first generation as well as some of the same characteristics as was on the 55-57 T-Birds. Because the Thunderbird shared the same DEW98 platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type, they shared interior styling particularly in the dash area, instrument panel, steering wheel and a Jaguar designed AJ-30 3.9L DOHC V8. This model is hiding a 3.9L V8 FI DOHC 32V engine and a 7-speed automatic transmission under the hood. There was a total of Thunderbirds built in 14,678, 4500 of which were finished in the beautiful RED exterior paint. The RED AND BLACK two-tone leather interior provides an excellent contrast to the bright RED exterior. This T-Bird comes with both the hard top, which is painted RED to match the exterior, and a power soft top as well. You have the potential for 3 different looks, hard top coupe, soft top cabriolet, and 2 seat roadster, what more could you want? The odometer reads just over 71 k miles, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 2003 Ford Thunderbird include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, Anti-Lock Brakes, Anti-Theft System, Power Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Driver/Passenger Airbag, Leather Interior, Heated Seats, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Rear Window Defogger, Seatbelts, Tilt Wheel, and Traction Control. This T-Bird had been driven and enjoyed, and has been beautifully maintained, as it looks as clean as clean as a car with half the miles. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this sharp 1987 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. Mustang received a facelift for the 1987 model year on both the interior and exterior. The front end was restyled to look more like the SVO which gave the car more of an Aero look, in keeping with Fords overall modern styling direction. The interior received an all new dash, center console and revised seat and door trim. With the SVO discontinued, models were now pared down to LX and GT. Also V8-powered Mustangs received E7TE heads and forged aluminum pistons with valve reliefs in 1987, as opposed to the flat-tops used in the previous year. This GT is powered by the original 302 CID V8 or 5.0 Liter and mated to an AOD four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Walking around this Mustang you instantly notice the 15” turbine looking alloy wheels, gloss white paint with red trim, and vented styled taillights. This 3rd Gen Mustang turns head everywhere it goes and is turnkey ready to be enjoyed. The interior features matching red cloth bucket seats, an AM/FM radio with Cassette, a power convertible top, Air conditioning, cruise control, power locks, tilt wheel, power windows, power mirrors, seat belts, and so much more! Notable features to add would be the power steering, power brakes, alloy wheels with radial tires, and fog lights. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is offering a 1931 Ford Model A two door sedan. The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model As. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. This particular example is the popular two door sedan. Theres seating for 4 and plenty of windows for airflow. Even the front wind screen can be tilted open to let in fresh air. Under the hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine. It uses a 3-speed manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. These cars are not speed machines, but they are torquey and fun to drive around town. The consignor has owned the car since 1999, and states they have the receipt for the engine rebuild from 7/00. This one fires up nicely and runs and drives like it should. The exterior is a Brown and Tan 2- tone paint, with cloth interior upholstery. This Model A is road ready and has a lot of life left. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this beautiful 1979 Cadillac Seville. This version of the Seville made a real statement when introduced, was only available 1976-1979, and still looks great today! The code 29 Crater Lake Blue Metallic looks really nice on this one, as does the padded vinyl top. The factory wire hubcaps, and overall exterior condition are much better than most from this era. Sit inside the lighter blue an you quickly realize why these remain popular even today. Its personable, well-appointed with leather seat uppers, and has all the power options you would expect for the era. The odometer shows less than 29,000 actual miles, and it LOOKS it! Very hard to find one with an interior in this condition. Power comes from the wisest choice back then: The fuel-injected 350 V8 engine, mated to a smooth 3 speed automatic. This combination is superior to the diesel 350s offered back then. The engine is smooth and provide surprisingly peppy performance- making it a pleasure to drive. Its getting harder and harder to find ones like this, so dont let it get away! It would not take much to make this one look brand-new because it is already a very nice car. The owner recently had major service done to the air conditioning system, and replaced the fuel tank. To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1979 Cadillac Seville, please visit gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1974 MG B! A lot of engine gasket work was performed prior to its arrival (Call for the details) The MGB is a two-door sports car manufactured and marketed by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, as a four-cylinder, soft-top roadster from 1963 until 1980. Its details were first published on 19 September 1962.[3] Variants include the MGB GT three-door 2+2 coupé (1965-1980), the six-cylinder roadster and coupé MGC (1967-69), and the eight-cylinder 2+2 coupé, the MGB GT V8 (1973-76) 1974.5 to 1980 Early MGBs used the banjo type differential carried over from the MGA with the rear axle ratio reduced from the MGAs 4.1 (or 4.3) to 3.9 to 1. (Compensating for the reduction from 15 inch to 14-inch (360 mm) wheels). MGB GTs first began using a tube-type rear axle in 1967. This unit was substantially stronger, being, like the later gearbox, designed for the three-litre MGC. All MGBs used the tube-type axle from 1968. All MGBs were fitted with 11-inch (280 mm) solid (non-ventilated) disc brakes on the front with drum brakes on the rear. The front brake calipers were manufactured by Lockheed and used two pistons per caliper. The brake system on the MGB GT was the same as the roadster with the exception of slightly larger rear brake cylinders. A single-circuit hydraulic system was used before 1968 when dual-circuit (separate front and rear systems) were installed on all MGBs to comply with US regulations. Servo assistance (power brakes) was not standard until 1975. Many modern and contemporary testers have commented on the very heavy brake pedal pressure needed to stop the non-servo-assisted cars.[citation needed] The MGB initially had an extremely simple electrical system. Dash-mounted toggle switches controlled the lights, ventilation fan, and wipers with only the direction indicators being mounted on a stalk on the steering column. The ignition switch was also mounted on the dash. Like the MGA, the MGB utilized two 6-volt batteries wired in series to give a 12-volt positive earth configuration. The batteries were placed under a scuttle panel behind the seats making access difficult; the location gave excellent weight distribution and thus improved handling. The charging system used a Lucas dynamo. Later MGBs had considerable changes to the electrical system including the use of a single 12-volt battery, a change from positive to negative earth, safety-type toggle (rocker) switches, alternator in lieu of dynamo, additional warning lights and buzzers, and most common functions moved to steering column stalks. From 1972 there were two different Pirelli Cinturato radial tyre sizes factory-fitted to new cars, depending on whether the car was a roadster,(155/80x14) or a GT,(165/80x14).The original tyres for the majority of MG Bs were 165HR14 Pirelli Cinturato.[12] With the 1974.5 arrival of the rubber bumper cars the factory-fitted tyre size was simplified to 165/80x14 for all cars, irrespective of whether the car was a roadster or a GT, and also irrespective of the wheel type (wire or RoStyle). Later on during the rubber bumper production period, alloy wheels were introduced on several different limited edition models - with the final 1,000 LE models being the last cars to leave the factory with alloy wheels. The factory built V8s were fitted with full profile 175HR14 tyres. (Source: WikiPedia) Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of real British Motor Company history in our Denver Showroom. Gateway Classic Cars are excited to present this full-size 1976 Ford Ranchero 500 at our Milwaukee location. The Ford Ranchero was manufactured between 1957 and 1979. Built on a two- door station wagon platform intergrading a cab and cargo bed into the body. The original Ranchero was so successful that General Motors got into the Car/ pickup craze with the Chevrolet El Camino in 1959. Over its lifespan, the Ranchero was produced on compact, mid-sized and full -size platforms. Considered an alternative utility vehicle, the Ranchero took on a cult following for customers who had no interest in a full- size pickup truck. A following that led to 508,000 units sold during its production run. Our sixth generation 1976 Ford Ranchero 500 is the perfect solution for someone looking for a weekend warrior. Whether you are making a run to the home improvement store or picking up the Christmas tree, this Ranchero will get the job done. Based on the Ford Torino, the new Ranchero was produced on a new body-on-frame design which resulted in a larger, heavier model. Powered by a 351 modified V-8 engine attached to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Producing plenty of power to get any job done. This Ranchero is beautifully painted in dark red with factory white racing stripes. A 50/50 split front seat highlights the handsome black vinyl interior. Description:

In the 70s the Lincoln Mark series was the pinnacle of luxury. This was Ford Motor Companys way to compete with Cadillac and a very successful way at that. The Mark V screams 70s luxury, from its long straight body, to the hideaway head lamps, to the pillow top seating, or even the opera windows. The size, weight, and presence of the vehicle lets you know that someone important is behind the wheel. Although the car is something to admire, behind the wheel is the best place to be. The bench seat is as comfortable as your easy chair at home, the steering is light enough you could steer with one finger, and the ride is so soft it feels like youre floating down the road. This is a car made to cover long spans of roadway. Powering the car along is a 400 CID V8 backed by a silky smooth 3 speed automatic transmission. The original owner ordered this one with plenty of goodies including A/C, AM/FM, cruise control, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, power seats, tilt/telescopic wheel, seat belts, cloth interior, and white wall radial tires. These late 70s cruisers have a great following and may be the next high dollar classic. This one is ready for the collector, or simply to be driven and appreciated. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1964 Mercury Comet. This beast is powered by a Ford 302 V8 Engine that includes a holly carb, MSD ignition and ford racing valve covers. Its even has hood pins to keep the beast behind closed doors. Dont be fooled by the 4-speed shift knob as this Comet has a 5-speed transmission that turns 3.08 posi traction gears. This Mercury is set up to handle great with a new front coil spring suspension. The white exterior is complemented greatly by the chrome Riddler wheels that really gleam in the sunlight. The interior is stitched up in an awesome black and burgundy combination that makes the inside as much of a head turner as the outside of the vehicle. Dont worry about keeping cool as this Comet has a new vintage air system. The odometer is only showing 67,478 miles. This body style comet has a lot of history behind it starting in 1964 the Comet was redesigned with a much more square shape, though it was still built on the same unibody as the 1963 model. Its basic lines were shared with the new Falcon, but the front grille used styling similar to that of the Lincoln Continental. Along with the redesign, the model designations were changed. The performance version was known as the Cyclone, replacing the previous S-22. Then in descending order of trim levels were the Caliente, 404 and 202, replacing the previous Custom and base models. The 2-door station wagon body style was discontinued. The top-of-the-line station wagon continued to be known as the Villager. The base 144 cid six engine was dropped and the 170 cid six became the new base engine. The 260 V8 was available at the beginning of the production run, with the new 289 being available mid-year. Due to the success of the full size Ford and Mercury fastback roofline introduced in mid-1963, the Falcon and Comet 2-door hardtops got a similar roofline with sharper corners. These vehicles really helped pave the way for the muscle car era that was about to begin in the United States of America.
