Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this 1-owner 1984 Porsche 944. And were excited to have a Black on Black 944 to boot! The consignor has taken very well care of this car - no doubt! She has never seen snow, been garaged since new, and serviced at the dealership, or European Motor Cars here in Atlanta. She had her timing belt and water pump replaced ahead of schedule, and we believe the owner has all service records [will go with the car]. He had her repainted in 2014 at European Motor Cars, due to some chips and dings - because it wasnt the way she should look - another example on how she was babied. This extra fine example shows very well, take a look inside, and it looks nearly new - did we mention how well he took care of her? BACKGROUND: Porsche produced the 944s from 1982-1991. This variant was based on the 912 platform and offered a near perfect weight distribution with rear-wheel drive and front engine placement. In 1984 Car and Driver gave the 944 Best Handling and the 944 was rated Top Ten Best by Car and Driver from 83-85! These accolades come as no surprise. This IS a drivers car. You cannot help but smile behind the wheel of this piece of history. This is a vehicle you can be proud to show and happy to drive. All the excitement starts up front with a 2.5L 8 valve engine, sending power through the 5-speed manual transmission - with just 80,205-miles showing on the odometer! This beautiful 944 has a moon roof, and factory AC to keep the drive cool. Additional options include; leather interior, Power; brakes, steering, mirrors, windows, moon roof, cruise control, anti-theft system, Alpine am/fm/cd, factory wheels, Michelin Pilot XGT V4 P215/60R15 radial tires. Note: original Blaupunkt radio comes w/ car , cruise control servo needs replacing. [cruise only item not working] This one is priced to sell and ready to enjoy! To see this 1984 Porsche 944 in greater detail, including HD pictures and HD video, visit GatewayClassicCars.com or visit our Atlanta showroom. For more information please call 678-894-4833 or email Atlanta@GatewayClassicCars. See More At: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/ATL/1158/1984-Porsche-944

Description:

The year was 1997 and demand for the 305-horsepower SVT Cobra remained high! Especially for convertibles, so the SVT team shifted more of its build mix towards the Cobra droptop with production now topping 3,000 units. With only 29,285 miles on this pony car it makes it a low mileage one owner car! The power plant of this Mustang is the 32-Valve 4.6 Liter V8 producing 300 lbs.-ft. @ 4800 rpm. When you mate it up to the 5-speed manual transmission it makes for a great driving experience that will satisfy your need for speed while still keeping the rpms low for cruising. Speaking of a need for speed this car will handle any curves thrown at it thanks to the modified MacPherson strut with separate spring on lower arm for the front. A rigid axle, upper and lower trailing arms, two hydraulic links, variable-rate coil springs, and 27mm stabilizer bar round out the rear suspension to complete the package. Helping this Mustang come to a stop are the 13 in. vented disc, PBR twin-piston calipers in the front of the car along with the 11.65 in. vented disc, single-piston caliper in the rear. The factory 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels look great on this car and are in the excellent shape. They are wrapped in Cooper P245/45ZR-17 radial tires. Only 925 of these cars were produced in the Rio Red color this year so dont miss out on your chance to own this one! You can view this 1997 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Our Philadelphia Showroom is excited to present this 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 to our showroom for sale! This is a well optioned well cared for Z/28 with only 46,836 original miles on the odometer. The car was optioned beautifully from the factory with white exterior and contrasting orange racing stripes. The interior sports matching white leather interior including bucket seats in the front and rear. Clearly a sports car enthusiast bought this one new, as they chose the 6 speed manual transmission which makes the driving experience much more enjoyable. Stock, the car came with a 5.7 Liter LT1 which is a great engine, but about 1500 miles ago, the owner decided this Camaro needed a few more ponies. They had the LT1 performance built at a speed shop. The engine was bored .030 over and given an LT4 hot cam. It got all new lifters, springs, timing chain, rocker arms, rings, bearings, and gaskets. The end result is roughly 425 naturally aspirated horsepower. With fairly modest exhaust, this makes a great sleeper for those that might mistake it for a stock Camaro. The power delivery is smooth and predictable which makes for a fun car to drive. As if horsepower and a killer paint scheme wasnt enough, this is a T-top car which allows for open air driving without the rag top. This is a kick ass ride which has service records and invoices available for the performance work. To view this 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this heavy hitter, a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda tribute located at our showroom in West Deptford, NJ! Shedding its Valiant roots, the Plymouth Barracuda entered the scene with a brand-new look in 1970. Featuring a radical restyling on the new E-Body platform, this car was ready to do battle against GM and Ford pony car contenders in performance and style. The challenging task of fitting Chryslers 426 Hemi engine into the previous A-Body Barracudas was one of the main reasons a redesign of the car was necessary. The Hemi fit like a glove in the new E-Body thanks to the larger cowl structure and all was set to rock the muscle car world. This incredible Hemi Cuda tribute continues the legend from the powerplant to the paint! Nothing was left untouched during the extensive restoration by Clark Classic Restorations in Greenville, NC. While it started life as a 318 Barracuda, this car underwent an unparalleled transformation into the performance machine you see now. Utilizing original sheet metal, the body was mounted on a rotisserie where the real work began. A gorgeous coat of Lemon Twist Yellow paint was applied along with the sporty hockey-stripe bodyside stripes that accentuate the performance aspect of the Plymouth Cuda. The heart and soul of the car, the fully-built 426 CID V8 Hemi crate engine rumbles with authority through Mandrel bent exhaust and ceramic long tube headers. Linked to the powerplant is a Mancini Racing 727 automatic transmission that shifts beautifully thanks to an iconic pistol grip slap-stik shifter. Press on the gas to feel that familiar launch found only with a Big Block Mopar! Thats a Mancini Racing Dana 60 9 rear with 3.54 gears! Additional performance features include Heavy Duty Dutchman 35 spline Axle, light weight driveshaft and 1350 Spicer U joints, Heidts Front End, Hemi K Member, Correct Hemi Leaf Springs, Powermaster Starter and Alternator, Adjustable Koni shocks, Track Style Front and Rear Brake Linings, Power Front Disc Brakes with slotted drilled rotors and so much more! Stroll to the inside of this gorgeous ride to reveal a crisp white leather interior that looks just as it did when it left the factory thanks to Legendary Auto Interiors. Take a seat in the comfortable buckets and blast that AM/FM Radio with 8 Track and MP3 input rebuilt by Wards Classic Radio Repair! Cruise with the matching white automatic convertible top down on those sunny days and relax knowing you are driving the coolest car of them all! Wrap your hands around the custom wood steering wheel and take note of the clean gauges including a fully-functioning clock. From the unique slotted courtesy lights to the seat belts redone by Ssnake-Oyl of Texas, the interior on this Cuda is off the hook! Simply stated, this Cuda is awesomeness in physical form. Just look at that Shaker Hood, a standard option with those who checked off the Hemi box when they sat with their Chrysler-Plymouth Dealer. This hood did more than just shake when the Hemi unleashed its fury, it allowed cooler, denser air to enter those twin carbs! The pice de rsistance is the set of 15x8 rallye wheels that convey the message that this car means business. The 1970 Hemi Cuda produced some of the most frightening quarter-mile times ever back in the day and it remains one of the most revered muscle cars ever made. Heres your chance to own one! This build was highly documented and was done right as anyone can see. With only 284 miles on the build, this car is ready to run! Give us a call today to make this beauty yours! To view this 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Tribute in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is overwhelmingly excited to feature this 1939 Chevrolet Coupe for sale in our Arizona showroom right now, located in North Phoenix. Once upon a time, drag racing was all any motorhead wanted to talk about in America. V8s dominated this scene of course, but some racers and builders decided to be Salmon in a stream full of Trout- they swam upstream with their 6 Cylinders in an attempt to win against all odds. This gasser is a product of two drag racing greats- the late, great “Bullet Bob Reid and “Fast Freddie Fred Wagenhals. Reid wanted to recreate the 39 Chevy gasser from his U.S. Nationals days of the 50s and 60s while Wagenhals hadnt forgotten his roots and was all in for partnering on the build. This 1939 Chevy Coupe has a L25 292 Inline 6 engine bored .40 over to 298 CID. A 12-port Sissel fuel injected head, GRP aluminum rods, J&E pistons, Outlaw headers and a 9 inch rear end geared to 5:67 help this awesome build run a sub-10 second quarter mile topping out at almost 140mph. The numbers on this one are 576hp and 470lb ft of torque. This Chevy Coupe is gorgeous as well as quick- it is painted in Racing Red with throwback decals all over the car. Competition Engineering suspension, a stiffened roll cage and fresh M&H rear slick tires keep this drag racer on the straight and narrow towards a record breaking time. Indeed, this very car set the world record for 6 cylinder gassers on three separate occasions and has only been raced 10 times (according to the seller). Fill her up with 112 octane gas and hit the drag strip in this legendary build! Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this one-of-a-kind Hemi Orange 1971 Plymouth Cuda. Fresh out of a 3-year restoration, with parts accumulated as far back as the beginnings of its owners planning stages 8 years ago, this car is a complete nut-and-bolt build. Under the hood is one beastly Elephant. Starting with a fresh Indy Cylinder Head-built 770HP 572 CID Hemi, built from a World Iron Hemi block with 4.5 x 4.5 bore and stroke, stuffed with top-of-the line Diamond 10.75:1 pistons atop forged Eagle 7.1/2.2 H-Beam rods, connected to a Forged Eagle crankshaft, and topped with a set of 426-S/R Aluminum Hemi Heads sporting 2.25 intake and 1.94 exhaust valves, this thing will wrinkle pavement. Chrome Moly retainers with 7-degree locks keep the valvetrain in check under the MP Roller Rocker Arms (1.57 and 1.52 intake-exhaust ratios, respectively). A Comp Cams .574/.551 cam with 242/248 duration and a 110-degree lobe center provides tons of torque through the powerband, and a very healthy lope. Indy Cylinder Head cast valve covers with custom 572 engraving fitted with Keith Black breathers, and a Mopar Performance dual-plane single 4bbl intake with an 850 CFM Mighty Demon Carb with mechanical secondaries sit atop the massive mill, while a Milodon 30930 8-quart deep sump oil pan complete with windage tray keeps the vital Brad Penn oil ready to flow foam-free throughout the crankcase. An MSD Pro Billet distributor and MSD coil send MSD 6AL-boosted spark to each cylinder through ICH Fire Core plug wires, ensuring complete and massive fuel ignition. A custom heavy duty hydraulic clutch grabs the billet steel flywheel, which is housed in a titanium bellhousing mated to a specially-built Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission, sending the twist out back via a special HD Dom steel driveshaft to the Strange Engineering-built Dana 60 rear end with 3.54:1 gears and limited slip differential. An LPW Racing aluminum differential cover (rear-end girdle) keeps things where they should be in the third member and helps maximize gear life and performance. Slip inside into the pilot seat, and youll feel like you were back in 1971, only better! An all new interior, complete with new door panels, carpet, etc.; along with new leather seating all around (done by Legendary Leather), fills your nostrils with the scent of fine hides and new car...until you fire it up...but, well get to that part in a minute...Gaze at the new dash, filled with NOS gauges behind the vintage Cuda steering wheel on the adjustable steering column, and youll note that this baby has only a tick over 1000 miles on it. Let your right hand slip down to the pistol grip shift knob atop the Hurst Competition Plus short-throw shifter, and youll be itchin to fire it up, with your anticipation going into overdrive about hearing this beast come to life. Go ahead, twist the key in the ignition, and ITS ALIVE! The mighty Elephant roars to life, and quickly settles to a lopey burble. Youll practically feel the spent fossils exiting the exhaust ports into the custom TTI Ceramic-coated headers (coated both internally and externally), as the gigantic 2 1/8 primaries suck the gases from the engine into the full 3 stainless dual exhaust system, exiting from the through the valance exhaust tips out back. While youre anticipating the carnage youre going to wreak on the massive 295/50R15 BFG Radial TA tires (on new vintage 15x10 Cuda wheels) out back, tune in your favorite station on the Cuda radio (a new Antique Auto Radio head unit), switch on the GEN IV Vintage A/C to max cool (because YOU are now Max Cool in this gnarly ride), depress the clutch and slip it into first of the five gears youre getting ready to grab, and BOOM - youre off! As you hit the asphalt, youll feel how well the car handles, with its special rate springs and QA1 shocks at each corner. Adding to the improved driving feel from the shocks and springs, are the tubular control arms with all new bushings, sway bars, upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, and new steering gear box (by Firm Feel), all contributing to making this car drive with a smooth and tight feel. If you launch hard, youll feel how well the fully-welded subframes and Caltracs traction bars keep the power down and the body straight. If you decide to explore the velocity limits of this mighty Hemi Orange Cuda, youll be glad to know you have a full Wilwood 4-wheel disc brake system, complete with Hydra-boost, to haul you down quickly and fade-free. While the Vintage A/C keeps you cool, the massive HD Racing aluminum radiator and twin electric fans do their part to help the HD aluminum water pump moving cooler coolant through the mighty 572, making for a trouble-free drive. Its black-powder-coated serpentine pulley system keeps things tidy in the engine bay and provides greater precision in belt alignment and more uniform operation of pulley-driven accessories. Options on this 71 Hemi Cuda for sale include: AM/FM Stereo Radio, Air Conditioning, Custom Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this unbelievably custom 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. The 55 Chevy Bel-Air is arguably one of the best-looking cars ever built. There clean lines and finless design make them great candidates for full on custom builds. Art Morrison started out building frames for tubbed out drag cars in the 70’s and 80’s but the company really took off when he began building his line of pro-touring chassis’. This 55 is sitting on one of his custom-built frames which not only looks good but increases the handling of the car dramatically. Finished off in the same Erica red paint as the body making the transition from floor pan to frame almost seamless. With touches of chrome here and there to break it up you can tell this was a well thought out build. The stance of the car was also dramatically changed due to the chassis as well with it sitting much lower than a stock 55. The wheels will be the next thing you notice with the set consisting of 18’s in the front and 20’s in the back giving the car that aggressive look. Behind those wheels are a set of chrome plated calipers that blend nicely while the cross-drilled and slotted rotors show people you mean business. Under that silky-smooth hood is was most consider the Mecca of LS powerplants. This LS7 has been built with a mild cam giving it a nice lope at idle but the real work is in the details. The intake has been painted to match with the custom firewall being cleaned up which flows into the custom inner fender wells. A custom piece of metal was formed to cover up the radiator as well making this engine bay look seamless like the rest of the car. Putting power to the road is a built 4l60 transmission giving you the capability to drive this beauty down the freeway comfortably at highway speeds. Inside the custom touches are extensive with the dash being made from one piece of metal as well. The gauges and AC vents are molded into that custom dash as well keeping with that flowing design. The leather wrapped seats are extremely comfortable while the Lokar shifter sits perfectly in the custom-made console. With this car being a fresh build and never shown to the public this beauty is guaranteed to collect a whole room of trophies or do what this car was intended to do Drive It! Options on this 1955 Custom Chevrolet Bel Air include, AC, AM/FM, Power Windows, Power Steering, Leather Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires.
