Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to offer this sharp 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger. This car has its original numbers matching engine, transmission, rear end and gearing. The Dodge Dart is an automobile originally built by Dodge from 1960 to 1976 in North America, with production extended to later years in various other markets. The Dart name originally appeared on a 1957 show car featuring a body designed by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Ghia. The production Dart was introduced as a lower-priced, shorter wheelbase, full-size Dodge in 1960 and 1961, became a mid-size car for 1962, and finally was a compact from 1963 to 1976. In 1974, the US federal 5 mph bumper impact standards were expanded to cover rear bumpers as well as front ones, and as a result the Swinger and Dart sedans rear bumpers grew much more massive. Taillights larger than the previous years items were set above the rear bumper, rather than within it. Shoulder and lap belts were finally combined in all Chrysler products into a retractable, inertia-sensitive, single-buckle design Chrysler called Unibelt, replacing the difficult-to-use separate lap and shoulder belts that had been installed through 1973. The Arab oil embargo of 1973, increased sales of smaller cars in the U.S. Dodge introduced the Dart SE (Special Edition) in mid-1974 as a four-door sedan and two-door hardtop. The SE included velour high back bucket seats with folding armrest, carpeted door panels, woodgrain instrument panel and deluxe wheel covers along with a TorqueFlite automatic transmission as standard equipment. The SE came equipped with the Quiet Car package introduced in 1973. The air conditioning system available on all Darts had increased capacity, quicker cooldown and lower minimum temperatures. An evaporator pressure regulator valve, long used on larger Chrysler products, varied the compressors capacity without cycling the clutch. The Dart Sport 340 was replaced by the Dart Sport 360 245 Bhp. as the 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 engine replaced the 340 cu in (5.6 L) engine discontinued after 1973. This 360 V8 engine has about 115k actual miles and still runs and drives top notch. Painted in a dark orange with black hood scoops and rear stripe, this car is a true head turner. The black vinyl interior is in great condition along with the dash and headliner. Options on this Dart include; A/C, AM radio with upgraded speakers, power brakes and steering, vinyl interior, Weld Racing wheels, and radial tires.Do not miss out on this beauty! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer this super unique Corvette. There just might not be a bigger bang for the buck anywhere in our inventory than this 1984 Chevrolet Corvette. Now you may already be saying to yourself that an 84 Corvette is nothing special, but take a closer look: theres a 383 cubic inch stroker motor under the hood, fully functional A/C, and a long list of upgrades that make this car more than a match for cars costing thousands more, and 5500 Original Miles on the Chassis. Theres a certain appeal to the first of the all-new C4 Corvettes. Imagine the impression of seeing this car for the first time after more than 15 years of the C3; it must have been revolutionary. And its held up rather well, with clean lines that are unmistakably Corvette. The two-tone bronze finish was the poster car for much of Chevys advertising around the new Vette and you have to admit that it still looks pretty good. Sure, its obviously an 84, but its cool the way your favorite old jeans are cool and nobody thinks of a guy driving an 84 Vette as pretentious. Its in pretty darned nice shape, too, as if someone has always loved it and treated it as a special car. Gaps are good, which shouldnt be a surprise because the C4s were quite well built, and theres a uniform shine that extends to the bumper covers, which are usually the first things to start to show their age. This is one heck of a good-looking car! The C4s interior was cutting-edge tech in 1984, and this one shows it rather well. The brown leather upholstery actually conveys a high-end, luxurious look that is far from dated and actually looks pretty contemporary given the recent trend towards natural colors. The seats are in excellent condition with only very minor signs of use and the carpets have obviously been protected all their lives. Even the door panels look fresh, with their two-tone detailing and not so much as a dent where the driver might have rested his elbow. The digital gauges are perhaps the most gee whiz part of the design, and they remain bright and clear, conveying information with easy-to-understand displays. Theres also a great-sounding Kenwood stereo system, functional A/C, power windows and locks, cruise control, and a tilt wheel, so theres really no reason why you wont enjoy driving this Corvette. Even the hatch area doesnt show any UV damage and offers a good amount of storage for road trips. The original Crossfire injected 350 cubic inch V8 has been dumped in favor of a recent 383 cubic inch stroker motor that probably doubles the original engines output. The injection is gone, replaced by a 4-barrel carburetor and a few well-chosen billet aluminum and chrome pieces really dress up the engine bay. An all-new serpentine belt drive system with new accessories from March gives it a big boost in the reliability department and the ignition is by MSD so it fires up easily even without the EFI. Long-tube headers feed a brand new dual exhaust system that sounds spectacular and the 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission was always the right choice in an early C4. The underside is shockingly clean, with nice floors and clean suspension components that strongly suggest this car has never spent a day in the snow and salt. And I, for one, love the early C4 aluminum wheels, which are aerodynamic and functional, with these wearing fat 255/50/16 BFGoodrich radials. You can still get a lot of performance for your money, and nowhere is that better illustrated than with this clean 84 Corvette. Options on this 1984 Chevrolet Corvette include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Removable top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Gateway Classic Cars Las Vegas is proud to present, this 1978 GMC 1500. This big beefy 70s stunner commands attention whether shes in the streets or off in the trees. Sporting a very healthy Chevy 350 V8 engine, this truck with the high and low 4x4 gear seems capable of creating her own trail safely and reliably. The throaty exhaust puts a smile on your face in knowing you do not sound like a Prius. With only 32K on the odometer, the aftermarket 15inch free lock wheels covered in 33inches of Mud Terrain capability gives her quite the aggressive stance and look. The additional front and rear auxiliary lights provide extra visibility down dark roads, or payback if someone decides to cut you off. Behind the adjustable bench seat sits an aftermarket amp and subwoofer paired to the JVC Bluetooth Stereo creating crisp and sharp tunes. While you look down at the world from the 3inch lift, the hot and cold A/C blowing in your mane, you can take pride in knowing that you will not accidentally back up into anyone with the plug-in rear-view camera. She comes with the long bed camper shell, a CB radio, extra LED lights to attach to a possible rack system, and almost all the cool factor you could ever want from the 70s. Description:

ONLY 27K MILES, #S MATCHING L-82 MOTOR, ORIGINAL BUILDSHEET, VERY CLEAN C3! There cant be many car guys who havent lusted for a Corvette at some point in their lives. This great-looking 1980 example is a fantastic way to break into the Corvette hobby for not a lot of money, and with only 27498 original miles, its an incredible survivor thatll get a ton of respect at shows. You simply cant go wrong with a classic combination like white over red on your fantastic plastic. This one remains almost entirely original and has been very well maintained from new, so the finish sparkles and the shine is outstanding for a car thats 35 years old. Its virtually impossible to duplicate the factory look (even though a lot of shops try), and this one has a wonderful patina that screams survivor the moment you see it. By 1980, build quality had improved by leaps and bounds, so youll find tight gaps, neat-fitting bumper caps, and T-tops that seal up well. With an update in 1978, the fastback profile with aggressive front and rear spoilers is as good as the C3 got, and is instantly recognizable today. There are no notable deviations from stock and were quite impressed by how well the various pieces and parts match, always a problem with early C3 Corvettes. Crisp emblems, nice lenses, and only modest signs of wear make this car a slam-dunk in preservation class judging. The contrasting burgundy leather interior is pure 1980s cool, but it looks more elegant and upscale than, say, the silver space capsule look of the 1978 pace cars. With a comfortable look thats inviting, its hard to resist sliding into those deep buckets and looking out over the long, dramatic hood. The drivers seat shows only very minor wear thats commensurate with the cars age and mileage, while the rest of the interior is very well preserved with almost no signs of use. Corvettes were loaded with standard equipment in 1980, including A/C, power windows, power locks, tilt wheel, and a complete array of gauges that are highly visible and easy to read. A newer Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo head unit has been fitted to the center stack, and the workmanship is excellent, not to mention the sound, so it doesnt really detract from the overall presentation. The weather-stripping is mostly original, but this is one T-top Corvette that seals up rather well and it is remarkably free of squeaks and rattles inside. Dual snorkels on the air cleaner mean an L82 engine with 230 horsepower, and its coupled to an automatic transmission. With 230 horsepower, it was a stout performer in 1980, and even today the rumble of the exhaust and solid whack of torque will get your heart racing on the street. It starts quickly and idles easily thanks to a recent service, and there are few engines more reliable than a 350 Chevy topped by a 4-barrel carb. Highly original, the engine bay is clean and well-maintained, and unlike so many of its siblings, it remains completely stock so no worries about previous abuse. Underneath, its in good order, and even still runs an original-style exhaust system with catalytic converter. The original slotted alloy wheels look great and wear fat 255/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials. This car represents a great opportunity to get into the Corvette hobby at an awesome price with a car that has survivor status everyone will admire. Call today! It was 1970, the year when monster big-blocks arrived from GM, so it took something very special to attract respect if you wanted the nimble prowess of a small-block. Chevrolet did just that in RPO ZR-1 Corvettes like the one offered here. The LT1 was the latest iteration of the venerated small-block V-8 that had shown up in 1955, and this 350 CI powerplant would go down in history as one of the most desirable packages to own. In 1970 only, the engine received a factory rating of 370 HP and 380 lb-ft of torque, due in large part to 11:1 compression, a large 780-Cfm Holley carb, a solid-lifter cam outfit, and transistorized ignition. The internals was all heavy-duty, with a forged crank and 4-bolt mains. The company sold 1,287 LT1 Corvettes, a scarcity due in part to a short production season and the high $447.60 cost, more than $140 above the price of a new 454. Moreover, this version lasted just one year, with detuning and lower compression being part of the 1971 follow-up. The car hire has been given a comprehensive refreshing to correct specifications. Purchased new at Surf Chevrolet in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, it features the matching-numbers CTV Suffix 350/370 HP ZR-1 engine, backed by the Muncie M22 4-speed transmission; LT1 packages were too wild for a factory automatic that year. This coupe is painted in rich Donnybrooke Green with a corresponding green interior and tinted T-tops. It has both power windows and the AM radio, as well as the 160 MPH speedometer and a special 6,500 RPM redline tachometer. In addition to the LT1, the ZR-1 package included an M22 rock crusher 4-speed heavy duty transmission, J56 Heavy duty power brakes, transistorized ignition, special aluminum radiator and a suspension that included special springs, shocks, and front and rear stabilizer bars. Production of the ZR-1 was limited to 1970-1972, the same three year time span of the LT1 engine. During that three year run, only 53 cars were ordered with RPO ZR-1: 25 in 1970, 8 in 1971 and 20 in 1972. The ZR-1s of the 1970s are the rarest small block Corvette ever produced. The finishing touch is 15-inch Rally wheels fitted with redline tires. Provenance accompanying the sale of this car will include the factory Protect-O-Plate, the framed partial tank sticker, and the original owners manual. The LT1 ZR-1 has been noted on occasion to have been the best small-block Chevrolet introduced during the 20th century, and this car offers terrific possibilities to its next owner. All original glass. Power windows. All gauges work. Car is missing A.I.R. System. The only modification from the original is added power steering. Reproduction red-line tires. 63,101 miles. Documented car; tank sticker and protecto-plate. Car shows very well. Starts right away with no smoke. Shifts smooth. Sold new at Surf Chevrolet in Pt. Pleasant, New Jersey. Comprehensive restoration to correct specs, Matching numbers CTV Suffix 350/370 HP engine with 380 ft/lbs of torque, 4-speed M22 Rick Crusher transmission, Donnybrooke Green, Power windows, AM radio, T-Tops, Rally wheels, Redline tires, Protect-O-Plate, Framed partial tank sticker, Owners manual. 1 of 25 Produced. National Corvette Museum Verified. Honestly one of the rarest cars we have ever seen, Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of Corvette History in our Dallas Showroom. It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is extremely proud to offer this absolutely stunning 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod. Although the term “Restomod is often misused, this Corvette is the perfect example of what a Restomod really is. At first glance, you are drawn in by the deep Black paint with an impressive stance on its full Art Morrison Chassis. This stance is achieved by Corvette upper and lower control arms, coil over shocks and a 4-link rear. What all this meticulously planned suspension set up does is allow you to translate power from the fuel injected LS3 6.2L V8 to the ground effectively. The powerplant is paired to a tight and smooth shifting Tremec 5 Speed manual which spins the Ford 9 rear end with 3:73 gear ratio. This car is extremely well sorted and ready for long or short distance cruising. Along with all the go-fast parts, this Corvette can stop on a dime. The 4 wheel drilled/slotted disc brakes are equipped with Wilwood 4 piston calipers that will grab the wheels to a stop as soon as you lay your foot on the brake pedal. This Corvette features an impressive Red leather interior from Al Knoch who also supplied the black soft top. The interior comforts you with modern amenities like a Kenwood Excelon 2din Multimedia unit that even has a reverse camera tucked in the rear. The Navigation head unit provides a modern touch to the already impressive interior on this 61 Vette Restomod. The Corvette sits on a very nice set of Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in none other Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, a Corvette must. For the buyer who is looking for a truly exciting ride that brings back memories of a great time in American Automotive history and offers contemporary performance and comfort, this Vette is calling your name. The craftsmanship on this Corvette are show worthy and you will be everyones envy when they see that you arent afraid to drive this beauty home. Description:

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Sky Blue over White 1974 Chevrolet Cheyenne C10. The paint has been resprayed and the carpets have been replaced, everything else on the truck is believed to be original to the truck from the day it rolled off the assembly line. The Sky Blue and White exterior paint was professionally applied, we do not know exactly when, but it does look fantastic, and shines beautifully. The blue cloth bench seat has little to no wear, it has been very well kept over the years. The wood grain trim on the door panels and dash also looks almost new and accents the theme very well. A white vinyl bed cover has been installed and provides a great finishing touch to the sky blue and white color combination. This Cheyenne 10 features a small tool box at the bottom of the truck bed where you keep your valuables under lock and key. The odometer reads 57,370, which is believed to be the original mileage on the truck. Options for this 1974 Chevrolet C10 include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Air Conditioning (inoperable), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, Crager Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Chevrolets third generation C/K Series ran from 1973 to 1987 and sported an all new design. Officially known as the Rounded-Line generation, the third generation looked like nothing else on the road at the time of its debut. The rounded lines included rounded cab roof, sloped rounded doors, rounded windshield corners, rounded front fenders, and rounded bed corners which made possible the rounded taillights. The rounded design was incorporated in an effort to improve aerodynamics and to improve fuel efficiency. Also known as the Square Body design, oddly enough, although not an official nickname since it did not originate from General Motors. This 74’ C10 would make for a great shop truck for a local business, or a nice cruiser for a collector who has always wanted a 3rd generation Chevrolet pickup. To view this 1974 Chevrolet Cheyenne C10 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present this 2002 Porsche Boxster S for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. With just 30,215 miles on the odometer, this 3.2 liter 6 speed Porsche has miles and miles of driving pleasure to be enjoyed. The 2002 Boxster S develops 260 hp at 6200 rpm and torque is rated at 229 lbs-ft at 4600 rpm from a 3.2-liter flat-6 driving through a six speed manual transmission. The differences in suspension between a regular model and the S are that the latter has stiffer springs (by 25 percent at the front, 23 percent in the rear), retuned shock-absorber damping, longer rear lower control arms and larger wheel bearings -- all to improve stability during high-speed cornering. The really strong suit of this two-seater is its chassis balance. Every ounce of power gets applied, and the lateral stick really challenges your neck muscles. On winding two-lane backroads, the S rack-and-pinion slices and dices with razor-sharp response, a tacked-to-the-tarmac feel, and no on-center lag. If tire bite diminishes on a rough patch, you instantly know about it and can respond before the chassis does anything silly and costly. The ride is quite good for a lightweight two-seater. Only rarely does a really nasty expansion joint or a particularly deep pothole elicit anything more than a subdued thud and a polite wheel waggle. Simply beautiful, terrifically fun, and remarkably civilized in day-to-day driving, the Boxster S makes instant fans out of new drivers. If you’re looking for a two seat sportscar, look no further. To view this 2002 Porsche Boxster S, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now available in our Dallas Showroom is this 1972 Ford Mustang. The 1972 Ford Mustangs changed very little from the 1971 models, except the Boss 351 did not return for a second year. Outside of red/white and blue color schemes, the only obvious difference was the Mustang name on the rear was now smaller and on the right side, instead of across the center. This 1972 Mustang began life as a Grande version, but has been converted over time. It is powered by a strong number’s matching 351 Cleveland with an FMX Auto transmission. The engine has been rebuilt, which the owner added a new intake and carburetor at this time. It has only approximately 2,500 miles since the rebuild. Other things updated by the owner include: Petronics electronic ignition installed with a new grab a track front suspension kit and steering kit. Also new is the following: -brake lines, rotors, calipers-on front, drum-lines, headliner, carpet, dash-pads, deluxe door panels, shock absorbers, classic air conditioning system, radiator, belt, hoses, chrome-front and rear bumpers, windshield trim, mustang badges, door weather stripping & trunk seal. With all that being done, this vehicle is ready to hit the road and take someone for an awesome cruise. Will that be you?
