Description:

Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this sleek 1958 Chevrolet Apache. This truck runs well and is a good driver. Powering this workhorse of yesteryear is a 235 CID inline-6 Blue Flame engine. The Blue flame was a very common and reliable engine used by Chevrolet in various applications including trucks like the Apache. When new, the engine was good for 136 horsepower. Sending the power to the rear end is a four-speed manual transmission. The exterior of this truck is finished in a matte grey and white paint job that accents the lines of the truck well while still looking correct for the period. The bed wood is stained a darker color and is in good condition also. supporting each corner of this beauty are red painted steel wheels that add a nice touch of color. wrapped around the wheels are whitewall tires that are in good condition with plenty of tread life left in them. Moving inward, the interior features a redone vinyl bench seat with Mexican blanket style cloth inlays. The headliner also features a Mexican blanket style inlay that accents the truck well. Although the interior is very minimalistic, it is in relatively good condition and stays true to the original workhorse style of the truck. Description:

**THIS VEHICLE IS TITLED AS A 1947 CHEVROLET** Gateway Classic Cars is proud of offer this 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. The Chevrolet Fleetmaster is an automobile which was produced by Chevrolet in the United States for the 1946, 1947 and 1948 model years. Titled as a 1947 This 1948 Chevrolet benefited from a ground up restoration and a new paint job. The six cylinder engine was rebuilt and bored 30 over at the time. The transmission was also rebuilt and is a three speed manual. Both have less than 100 miles on them since completion. The tan interior is also new and shows very well. These older coupes with split windshields, opposing wipers and column shifters don’t just move you from one place to another. They are time capsules that take you down the highway to another era. Maybe you remember riding in one with your grandfather, or father. Or maybe you had one yourself. Driving this car down the highway is an experience you will not forget. This car is equipped with new radial tires that improve both ride and handling characteristics. It starts easily, runs and shifts as it should and goes down the road like it owns it. When anyone sees this large chrome grille in the rear view mirror they will be sure to move over and get out of the way. To view this 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1960 Studebaker Champ Pickup. This is one you will not see every day. The Studebaker Champ was a light-duty pickup truck produced by the Studebaker Corporation from 1960-1964. The chassis and cargo box of the Champ were basically the same as what had been used for Studebakers ½ and ¾-ton trucks since 1949, but the cab section was very different. An entirely new cab was out of the question because of cost considerations, but the new Lark compact cars body proved to be just the right size and shape to suit the purpose. The engineering staff took a four-door sedan, cut it in half behind the front doors and modified the front half slightly to fit the truck chassis. The only new Sheetmetal stamping that was required was the back wall of the new cab. Minor modifications for mounting of the cab to the 1949-vintage truck frame were also made. The Larks front end Sheetmetal was retained as well, but funds were allocated to give the Champ a new horizontal-bar grille that delivered a tougher look. Powered by a 6 Cylinder engine. A wide variety of transmissions, both manual and automatic, were available in Champs. Base models came with a three-speed column shifted manual (AKA: 3 on the tree) and that’s what this one has. Today, the Champs that still exist are highly prized for their interesting combination of passenger-car comfort and style and their rugged mechanical durability Options for this 1960 Studebaker Champ include; AM Radio, Cloth Interior and Hub Caps. This is the one you want to own. This 1960 Studebaker Champ for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

The second-generation Pontiac Firebird was produced between 1970 and 1981 and saw some radical changes in power during the EPA influenced decade. In 1971, the legendary 455cid engine first became available in the Trans Am model. Output from the 455HO was rated at 335hp. The option was discontinued after 1976 for Trans Am and Formula models and by 1979, the best-selling year ever for the Trans Am, the 6.6 (400cid) power plant was restricted to 220hp. The owner of this mean green 1979 Formula decided to set things right by sourcing a 1975 455cid motor mated to a TH400 automatic transmission and stock posi differential. The owner reports 2,000 miles since the rebuild that includes a high-flow water pump, 7qt oil pan, 850 quadra jet carb, new valves, guides & seals and pistons. Add an upgraded front suspension, new disc brake system components, fuel tank and a serious sound system and this ride is complete. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a cool little 1951 Chevrolet 3100. This is a great shop truck, or daily driver. The body is a little rough around the edges and is finished in Hot Rod Gray which mimics the look of primer. Once you see the pinstriping you’ll realize this is all part of the look, and certainly is appealing on an old truck. Though it’s an old truck on the outside, underneath it’s been modernized quite a bit. The front suspension has been upgraded with that of a Pontiac LeMans which rides much better than the original. For power, it has a 350 CID V8 small block under the hood and a reliable TH350 transmission. The rear ratio is unknown but is more of a cruising gear, or highway gear for gas sipping travel. Inside you have the comfort of bucket seats, a tilt column, updated gauges, electric wipers, and “Early Air” which is the fresh air vent which comes in through the cowl. Completing the old school look on the outside are Keystone wheels, and a rad exhaust which exits through the fender. This truck runs, drives, and cruises down the road very comfortably. It has been used for multiple 5 hour weekend trips, and is ready for more. Whether you’re gearing up for the Hot Rod Power Tour, or just want a cool daily driver, this truck is a great fit. You can see this 1951 Chevrolet 3100 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Description:

We are trilled to offer to for sale in our Saint Louis Showroom this Chesterfield Brown 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Accenting the Chesterfield Brown exterior is the tan phoenix, or screaming chicken depending on who you talk to, and the Camel Tan vinyl interior. The paint was resprayed at some point and shines with pride. The vinyl interior is believed to be original, it has aged very well, showing little signs of wear and aging. Powering this 78’ Trans Am is a W72 6.6L 400 4BBL V8, which is believed to be the original engine it rolled off the assembly line with. The W72 400 V8 was more powerful than the standard L78 by at least 20 horserpower. The 3-speed automatic transmission is also believed to be original and shifts the power to the rear end beautifully. The 2nd generation of GM/Pontiac’s F-Body vehicles hosted an array of impressive body lines, eye-opening powertrain, and new options for over a decade (1970-1981), and this specific arrival is a shining example of why the 2nd generation held such a lengthy tenure. The odometer on this T/A reads 1,574, which has rolled over, and the actual mileage is believed to be 101,574. Options for this 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am include: Air Conditioning (inoperable), AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. This is a PHS documentated 78’ Trans Am that has been maintained, cared for, and runs and drives incredibly well. These 1965 Mustangs are some of the most iconic and widely recognized cars of all time and even a lite car enthusiast will scream and shout with delight seeing one of these driving past them. Its current configuration matches the included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. From notes in the history the car appears to have been owned by a mechanic in Palm Beach, FL from 1982-84. He purchased it from the wife of a fellow who owned the car from 1973-82. The mechanic sold it to another fellow in FL who owned it from 1984-2004. During that time he advanced the odometer from 72k to 104k miles and it is reported to have had an undamaged history. At one point he painted and re-trimmed the car. In 2004 the car was sold on to an enthusiast in Los Angeles. Then, in 2005 the car was purchased by another enthusiast in the East who after owning the car for many years commissioned the total nut and bolt restoration putting the car is the superb condition you see today. The 1973 911S is powered by Porsches 2.4L motor with MFI (mechanical fuel injection) with a 5-speed gearbox. These are rated by enthusiasts among the most desireable and best handling of the early 911s. With 185 HP, this 911S does 0-60 in about 6.6 seconds, which was outstanding for the period. Here is an investment-grade collectible Porsche with known history, documented restoration, matching numbers, and a delightful special order color combination. Drive, tour or show with pride.

Description:

The year is 2002, George Bush creates the Department of Homeland Security on June 7th to fight threats of terrorism, The Winter Olympic Games are held in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, while this 35th Anniversary Convertible Camaro SS rolls off the assembly line. Since then she has only accumulated 29760 miles on her. This LS1 powered Camaro is a blast to drive, especially with the 6-speed manual. The fourth-generation Camaro debuted in 1993 on an updated F-body platform. It retained the same characteristics since its introduction in 1967: a coupé body style with 2+2 seating (with an optional T-top roof) or convertible (reintroduced in 1994), rear-wheel drive, pushrod 6-cylinder and V8 engines. The standard powerplant from 1993-1995 was a 3.4 L V6, then a 3.8 L V6 was introduced in 1995. A 350 CID Small Block V-8 engine, which was introduced in the Corvette in 1992, was standard in the Z28. Optional equipment included all-speed traction control and a new six-speed T-56 manual transmission; the 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission was standard on the Z28, yet optional on the V6 models which came with 5-speed manual as standard. Anti-lock brakes were standard equipment on all Camaros. A limited quantity of the SS version (1996-1997) came with the 330 HP small block engine from the Corvette, although most were equipped with the 305 HP. The 1997 model year included a revised interior, and the 1998 models included exterior styling changes, and a switch to GMs aluminum block LS1 used in the Corvette C5. In 1998, the 5.7 L LS1 was the first all-aluminum engine offered in a Camaro since the 1969 ZL-1 and carried a 325-horsepower rating. The SS versions (1998-2002) received slightly improved exhaust and intake systems, bigger wheels and tires, a slightly revised suspension for improved handling and grip while retaining ride comfort, an arc-shaped rear wing for downforce, and different gearing ratios for faster acceleration, over the Z28 models. Chevrolet offered a 35th anniversary edition for the 2002 model year. Production of the F-Body platform was discontinued due to slowing sales, a deteriorating market for sports coupés, and plant overcapacity, but an entirely new platform went on sale in 2009. The B4C Special Service Package for police agencies was carried over from the 3rd generation & sold between 1993-2002. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer an amazing 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle. This is not your Grandma’s Beetle. This little blue rocket has been completely built from the ground up. The ’73 V-Dub was completely disassembled, stripped to the bare floor pan. The body was reassembled and aligned and coated in a stunning coat of metallic blue. This Bug features its original 1,600cc Dual Port Flat Four. The engine has been completely rebuilt and features tons of new goodies. It breathes in through a new Bocar one barrel carburetor, and is equipped with a Bosch coil as well as Bosch wires. The engine is dressed in chrome for a show car finish when you pop the bonnet. The exhaust is just rowdy enough and resonates the distinct VW flat four sound. Perhaps the most impressive part of the whole car is the underside. The pans are painted, and the undercarriage is a clear indicator of the time spent rebuilding this Beetle. To dress up the outside, the car now rides on 15” EMPI chrome wheels. The front end even features disc brakes to further modernize the car. The interior is rather jazzy as it lights up with blue LED lighting as soon as the door is opened. The front seats are sporty racing buckets, and the car has functional seat belts for all passengers. The list of work on this Beetle goes on and on. It has been built to be a reliable, fun to drive show car. This is a great way to enter the classic car hobby, or to expand your existing VW collection. You can see this 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 708-444-4488 or chicago@gatewayclassiccars.com. The power for this one has been sourced from something almost 60 years newer! Under the hood you will find a turbocharged 3.8l V6 Buick engine. Something that you may recognize if you look under the hood of a Grand National. But remember, this weighs a lot less than a Grand National. So acceleration is amazing! Exterior is finished in a fantastic blue and tan two tone and has a matching blue tan and wood interior. The entire car has been modernized. Looking around you will find power seats, power windows, power sunroof, cruise control, seat belts, AM/FM radio, spare tire, tilt wheel, cloth interior, radial tires around rally wheels and Posi-Traction!
