Description:

Gateway Classic Cars are excited to present this handsome 1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero at our Milwaukee location. The Ford Ranchero was manufactured between 1957 and 1979. Built on a two- door station wagon platform intergrading a cab and cargo bed into the body. The original Ranchero was so successful that General Motors got into the Car/ pickup craze with the Chevrolet El Camino in 1959. Over its lifespan, the Ranchero was produced on compact, mid-sized and full -size platforms. Considered an alternative utility vehicle, the Ranchero took on a cult following for customers who had no interest in a full-size pickup truck. A following that led to 508,000 units sold during its production run. Our 1964 second generation Ford Falcon Ranchero was manufactured from 1960-1965. Built on the Falcon platform, making it the smallest Ranchero produced. Fords thinking was the market was looking for more practical, lighter and cheaper vehicle than a full-sized pickup. Although small, the Ranchero had an impressive 800lb payload. The 1964 Falcon Ranchero became a little bit larger due to the redesigned Ford Falcon which still shared its platform. Under the hood is a 200 cubic inch Thrift power I6 which was the same engine used in first Ford Mustang. A three-speed manual transmission adds to the originality of this Ford Falcon. A sharp white/ red paint job complemented by a matching red vinyl interior makes for a really sharp looker. Adding to your driving pleasure is an AM/ FM/ Cassette radio. This 1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. The Mustang basically has the legacy of being the front face of Fords performance cars. The year 1996 came around and the 4.6 modular engine was introduced to multiple vehicles including the Mustang. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited in presenting this gray 1991 Chevrolet Corvette in our Milwaukee Showroom. The Corvette has always had a longstanding tradition of being a performance car being ahead of its time since its introduction as a roadster in 1953. This car coming out of the year 1991 shows as a shining example of both a performance sports car and a vehicle that seemed space age for its era. Powered by an L98 350 cubic inch V8 and backed by an easy to use automatic transmission, this car is fun for just about every driver who can sit behind the wheel. This already healthy 8 cylinder is enhanced by a Procharger (external supercharger) to give this dark performance machine even more horsepower on tap. This engine exhales through a set of aftermarket headers that go back to a set of chambered mufflers to produce a brooding, throaty, and deep exhaust note. The metallic gray paint is matched well by a dark gray color leather interior which is outfitted with features that may surprise some judging by the cars age. Features include air conditioning, digital and analog instrument cluster, power seats with lumbar support, power windows, ride control, and cruise control making for an enjoyable but fun ride. The Corvette also comes as a targa top optioned vehicle for when you just want to remove the roof and enjoy a nice day exposing yourself to the elements. Finally this cars look is completed by adding a set of wheels off of a C5 Corvette, giving this car a nice updated look. This Chevrolet Corvette will not disappoint in the performance or the comfort category so the time to grab this beauty is now! This 1991 Chevrolet Corvette is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this beautiful 1991 Chevrolet Corvette. Powered by the original 5.7l L98 V8 and partnered with the 6-speed manual transmission, this targa-top beauty is a blast to drive. IF this car looks familiar, you may have seen it either on “Dream Car Garage where it was featured in a 13 episode special, it has been featured on the Mid America Motorworks catalog as a cover car, and it was also on the cover of the June 2005 issue of Grassroots Motorsports Magazine. Its fair to say this car gets some attention! For those of you unfamiliar with Dream Car Garage, they take a stock or mostly stock vehicle, and apply a series of upgrades during the course of the show to take the vehicle to the next level. Having been a part of the show, this Corvette has seen some high end parts installed, and it wont take more than a minute behind the wheel to feel the difference. An Opima Red Top battery has been fitted to make sure the Corvette cranks strong whenever you need to scratch your speed itch. An Accel distributor and spark plug wired keep a strong spark going to all 8 cylinders. A ram air intake with a high-flow filter element let as much air in as possible while blocking all the road dust. Winding this engine out to 5,500rpms sounds great thanks to the Corsa exhaust system singing the whole time. Once up to speed, the vehicle is kept stable thanks to Bilstien struts at all 4 corners. Making sure there is ample grip is always important in a performance vehicle, and a set of Yokohama tires do the job tremendously. Going fast is great, but having total control of the vehicle is the icing on the cake. Being able to safely and quickly bring any vehicle to a stop lets you push the envelope just a bit further, and thanks to Baer brakes both front and rear, you can really let it all hang out. With a freshly redone interior, this Corvette has had all of its bases covered. Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM/XM Radio, Targa Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires, and a Posi Traction rear end. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to offer this 1968 Volkswagen Beetle The Volkswagen Beetle—officially the Volkswagen Type 1, informally in German the Käfer (meaning beetle), in parts of the English-speaking world the Bug,[11] and known by many other nicknames in other languages—is a two-door, rear-engine economy car, intended for five occupants (later, Beetles were restricted to four people in some countries),[12][13][14] that was manufactured and marketed by German automaker Volkswagen (VW) from 1938 until 2003.[15] The need for a peoples car (Volkswagen in German, and in the English-speaking world in the early 20th century as folks wagon), its concept and its functional objectives were formulated by the leader of Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler, who wanted a cheap, simple car to be mass-produced for his countrys new road network (Reichsautobahn). Members of the National Socialist party, with an additional dues surcharge, were promised the first production, but civil war in Spain shifted most production resources to military vehicles instead to support Francisco Franco. Lead engineer Ferdinand Porsche and his team took until 1938 to finalise the design. Béla Barényi[16] is credited with first conceiving the original design for this car in 1925, notably by Mercedes-Benz, on their website, including his original technical drawing,[17][18] five years before Porsche claimed to have done his initial version.[19] The influence on Porsches design of other contemporary cars, such as the Tatra V570, and the work of Josef Ganz remains a subject of dispute.[20] The result was the first Volkswagen, and one of the first rear-engined cars since the Brass Era. With 21,529,464 produced,[21] the Beetle is the longest-running and most-manufactured car of a single platform ever made. Although designed in the 1930s, due to World War II, civilian Beetles only began to be produced in significant numbers by the end of the 1940s. The car was then internally designated the Volkswagen Type 1, and marketed simply as the Volkswagen. Later models were designated Volkswagen 1200, 1300, 1500, 1302, or 1303, the former three indicating engine displacement, the latter two derived from the model number. The car became widely known in its home country as the Käfer (German for beetle, cognate with English chafer) and was later marketed under that name in Germany,[4] and as the Volkswagen in other countries. For example, in France it was known as the Coccinelle (French for ladybug).[1][2] In 1943, Roy Fedden applied for a patent,[22] GB570814, Improvements relating to road vehicles, a car identical to VW Käfer. The original 25 hp Beetle was designed for a top speed around 100 km/h (62 mph), which would be a viable cruising speed on the Reichsautobahn system. As Autobahn speeds increased in the postwar years, its output was boosted to 36, then 40 hp, the configuration that lasted through 1966 and became the classic Volkswagen motor. The Beetle gave rise to multiple variants: mainly the 1950 Type 2 Bus, the 1955 Karmann Ghia, as well as the 1961 Type 3 Ponton and the 1968 Type 4 (411/412) family cars, ultimately forming the basis of an entirely rear-engined VW product range. The Beetle thus marked a significant trend, led by Volkswagen, and then by Fiat and Renault, whereby the rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout increased from 2.6 percent of continental Western Europes car production in 1946 to 26.6 percent in 1956.[23] In 1959 even General Motors launched an air-cooled, rear-engined car, the Chevrolet Corvair—which even shared the Beetles flat engine and swing axle architecture. Over time, front-wheel drive, and frequently hatchback-bodied cars would come to dominate the European small-car market. In 1974, Volkswagens own front-wheel drive Golf hatchback succeeded the Beetle. In 1994, Volkswagen unveiled the Concept One, a retro-themed concept car with a resemblance to the original Beetle, and in 1998 introduced the New Beetle, built on the contemporary Golf platform with styling recalling the original Type 1. It remained in production through 2010, and was succeeded in 2011 by the Beetle (A5), the last variant of the Beetle, which was also more reminiscent of the original Beetle. Production ceased altogether by 2019.[24] In the 1999 Car of the Century competition, to determine the worlds most influential car in the 20th century, the Type 1 came fourth, after the Ford Model T, the Mini, and the Citroën DS.[2 For additional information please call our sales staff at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@GatewayClassicCars.com.To view 3000+ classics or exotics, please visit: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/ To sell your classic or exotic please call us - (303) 872-4722 or visit: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/fluid-sell-my-classic-car

The first car to bear the name was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a pillarless two-door hardtop body style with a prestige trim level above that of the Series 62 luxury coupe. The last model to be formally known as a DeVille was the 2005 Cadillac DeVille, a full-size sedan, the largest car in the Cadillac model range at the time. The next year, the DeVille was officially renamed the Cadillac DTS. In 1976, the grille saw a new and finer crosshatching pattern. Cornering lamps received new horizontal silver trim; tail lamp Bezels also gained new chrome-like trim. Eight different color accent stripes were available. Vinyl tops were now integral padded Elk grain material. New trims included sporty plaids, plush velours, knits and 11 distinctive genuine leathers. A Controlled (limited-slip) Differential was included for extra traction. An optional illuminated entry and theft deterrence system was optional. The new Delco Freedom battery, never needed water added.[11] New turbine-vaned and wire wheel covers were offered. A new option locked the doors when the transmission lever was shifted to Drive.
