Description:

Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is the 1966 Chevrolet C10. The ’66 was the last of the first-generation Chevrolet pickup. Most people see these as “good ol’ farm trucks” being they were strong, dependable and enjoyable to drive. This particular ’66 had undergone a recent restoration and is powered by a fresh 350 CID V8 crate motor which is said to have less than 1,000 miles on it. The engine is paired to a Tremec 5-speed transmission leading back to a rebuilt rear end featuring 3.73 gears. Going through the restoration this pickup received a new intake manifold, drive shaft, new body bushings, front ball joints, and tie rods. This truck is ready to hit the road and will certainly turn some heads with the red paint job. The body on this truck is nice and solid with new fenders, doors, and seals all around. The interior has been nicely done to keep the truck looking original. With a color matching leather bench seat, classic gauges and AM radio this truck really puts you back in the 60’s. This is said to be a 4-owner truck and remains in great shape. 1985 Buick Riviera Convertible

Extremely RARE TURBO

Less than 45 of these Rivieras were produced!!!!

ORIGINAL MILES!

Immaculate condition inside and out!!!

Great white and red color combination

Air Conditioning

Loaded with power options!

1985 was the last year for the Ole Gal. She was getting a little long in the tooth as the body style had been around now for 7 years. It was by far the most beautiful of all later year Rivieras to come out of Detroit as the 1986 was anything but. 1985 was mainly carry over, not much changed. This last year also saw a decrease in production, with only 400 Convertibles being built. Prices increased to $27,835.00 base with freight, a $1503.00 increase. The standard engine now, for the first time, was the 5.0 V8, as the 4.1 V6 was dropped from the Riviera line. Still available was the 3.8 Liter Sequential-port Fuel Injected Turbocharged V-6 engine option, while lower priced at $735.00, it still sold poorly and only 49 Riviera Convertibles received this engine.

If you were to order a 1985 Buick Riviera Convertible loaded with all the options including the 3.8 Liter Sequential-port Fuel Injected Turbocharged V-6 engine, it would set you back a whopping $31,247.00! Not little money back in 1985, heck it isn't little money today. One thing all these Riviera Convertibles had in common was this; they were only available in 2 colors, White or Red Firemist, all came with a white vinyl top, 84 and 85 being the only years they were lined and all had the Maple (name used only in early 1982) or Claret Leather Interior. These two names were mostly the same color, very dark red, but the latter two years, 1984 and 1985 were a bit darker as GM changed its vendor that supplied the leather.

Description:

With just over 2,000 miles on the freshly rebuilt 427 cubic inch and very few on the build overall, this replica of an extraordinary piece of automotive history is a sight to behold. The GT-40 was developed to compete with Ferrari at the 24 hours of Le Mans and was able to win four consecutive years from 1966-1969 including a 1-2-3 finish the very first year. Superformance replicates these cars nearly exactly the way you would have seen them racing all of those years ago. This GT-40 was built back in 2008 and features the same Gulf orange and blue paint scheme that was on the original race cars. Protecting the paint is a clear bra on the front and was ceramic coated just last year in 2016 which makes it easy to maintain and clean when you decide to show it. As you open the door and slide in over the seat, you feel as if you have just slide into the cockpit of a rocket ship rather than a classic car. 5-point seat belt harnesses, a line of switches along the dash, and plenty of gauges to monitor, you start to understand what it must have been like to race one for hours on end. This one however has a feature that those racers would have loved to have; air conditioning! With the engine just behind you and such a light weight car, there was not much for heat or sound dampening. The air conditioning makes the longer cruises much more bearable. The raw power this car puts out with little weight will throw you back harder in your seat than almost any other car out there. Complete your childhood dream, by owning the car you never thought possible for a fraction of the cost of the real deal! This GT-40 is ready to take to the track or shows and turn every head while doing it. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2008 Superformance GT-40 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DEN/197/2008-Superformance-GT-40

Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this one-of-a-kind Hemi Orange 1971 Plymouth Cuda. Fresh out of a 3-year restoration, with parts accumulated as far back as the beginnings of its owners planning stages 8 years ago, this car is a complete nut-and-bolt build. Under the hood is one beastly Elephant. Starting with a fresh Indy Cylinder Head-built 770HP 572 CID Hemi, built from a World Iron Hemi block with 4.5 x 4.5 bore and stroke, stuffed with top-of-the line Diamond 10.75:1 pistons atop forged Eagle 7.1/2.2 H-Beam rods, connected to a Forged Eagle crankshaft, and topped with a set of 426-S/R Aluminum Hemi Heads sporting 2.25 intake and 1.94 exhaust valves, this thing will wrinkle pavement. Chrome Moly retainers with 7-degree locks keep the valvetrain in check under the MP Roller Rocker Arms (1.57 and 1.52 intake-exhaust ratios, respectively). A Comp Cams .574/.551 cam with 242/248 duration and a 110-degree lobe center provides tons of torque through the powerband, and a very healthy lope. Indy Cylinder Head cast valve covers with custom 572 engraving fitted with Keith Black breathers, and a Mopar Performance dual-plane single 4bbl intake with an 850 CFM Mighty Demon Carb with mechanical secondaries sit atop the massive mill, while a Milodon 30930 8-quart deep sump oil pan complete with windage tray keeps the vital Brad Penn oil ready to flow foam-free throughout the crankcase. An MSD Pro Billet distributor and MSD coil send MSD 6AL-boosted spark to each cylinder through ICH Fire Core plug wires, ensuring complete and massive fuel ignition. A custom heavy duty hydraulic clutch grabs the billet steel flywheel, which is housed in a titanium bellhousing mated to a specially-built Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission, sending the twist out back via a special HD Dom steel driveshaft to the Strange Engineering-built Dana 60 rear end with 3.54:1 gears and limited slip differential. An LPW Racing aluminum differential cover (rear-end girdle) keeps things where they should be in the third member and helps maximize gear life and performance. Slip inside into the pilot seat, and youll feel like you were back in 1971, only better! An all new interior, complete with new door panels, carpet, etc.; along with new leather seating all around (done by Legendary Leather), fills your nostrils with the scent of fine hides and new car...until you fire it up...but, well get to that part in a minute...Gaze at the new dash, filled with NOS gauges behind the vintage Cuda steering wheel on the adjustable steering column, and youll note that this baby has only a tick over 1000 miles on it. Let your right hand slip down to the pistol grip shift knob atop the Hurst Competition Plus short-throw shifter, and youll be itchin to fire it up, with your anticipation going into overdrive about hearing this beast come to life. Go ahead, twist the key in the ignition, and ITS ALIVE! The mighty Elephant roars to life, and quickly settles to a lopey burble. Youll practically feel the spent fossils exiting the exhaust ports into the custom TTI Ceramic-coated headers (coated both internally and externally), as the gigantic 2 1/8 primaries suck the gases from the engine into the full 3 stainless dual exhaust system, exiting from the through the valance exhaust tips out back. While youre anticipating the carnage youre going to wreak on the massive 295/50R15 BFG Radial TA tires (on new vintage 15x10 Cuda wheels) out back, tune in your favorite station on the Cuda radio (a new Antique Auto Radio head unit), switch on the GEN IV Vintage A/C to max cool (because YOU are now Max Cool in this gnarly ride), depress the clutch and slip it into first of the five gears youre getting ready to grab, and BOOM - youre off! As you hit the asphalt, youll feel how well the car handles, with its special rate springs and QA1 shocks at each corner. Adding to the improved driving feel from the shocks and springs, are the tubular control arms with all new bushings, sway bars, upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, and new steering gear box (by Firm Feel), all contributing to making this car drive with a smooth and tight feel. If you launch hard, youll feel how well the fully-welded subframes and Caltracs traction bars keep the power down and the body straight. If you decide to explore the velocity limits of this mighty Hemi Orange Cuda, youll be glad to know you have a full Wilwood 4-wheel disc brake system, complete with Hydra-boost, to haul you down quickly and fade-free. While the Vintage A/C keeps you cool, the massive HD Racing aluminum radiator and twin electric fans do their part to help the HD aluminum water pump moving cooler coolant through the mighty 572, making for a trouble-free drive. Its black-powder-coated serpentine pulley system keeps things tidy in the engine bay and provides greater precision in belt alignment and more uniform operation of pulley-driven accessories. Options on this 71 Hemi Cuda for sale include: AM/FM Stereo Radio, Air Conditioning, Custom Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel.
