Description:

We are trilled to offer to for sale in our Saint Louis Showroom this Chesterfield Brown 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Accenting the Chesterfield Brown exterior is the tan phoenix, or screaming chicken depending on who you talk to, and the Camel Tan vinyl interior. The paint was resprayed at some point and shines with pride. The vinyl interior is believed to be original, it has aged very well, showing little signs of wear and aging. Powering this 78’ Trans Am is a W72 6.6L 400 4BBL V8, which is believed to be the original engine it rolled off the assembly line with. The W72 400 V8 was more powerful than the standard L78 by at least 20 horserpower. The 3-speed automatic transmission is also believed to be original and shifts the power to the rear end beautifully. The 2nd generation of GM/Pontiac’s F-Body vehicles hosted an array of impressive body lines, eye-opening powertrain, and new options for over a decade (1970-1981), and this specific arrival is a shining example of why the 2nd generation held such a lengthy tenure. The odometer on this T/A reads 1,574, which has rolled over, and the actual mileage is believed to be 101,574. Options for this 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am include: Air Conditioning (inoperable), AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. This is a PHS documentated 78’ Trans Am that has been maintained, cared for, and runs and drives incredibly well. To view this 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. Description:

Now featured in our Denver showroom is a one of a kind show-stopping 1957 Ford Thunderbird that had no expense sparred in the meticulous build that it underwent. Everywhere you look on this classic T-bird the quality of work will leave you speechless! The heart and soul of this car is a Coyote 5.0L V8 that, when you open up the hood, was clearly the centerpiece around the build. The firewall and inner fender wells have just as deep of a black glossy finish as the rest of the car, and with the chrome and polished accents, is a piece of art by itself. The hydroboost Wilwood Master cylinder provides serious stopping ability to the 6-piston front calipers allowing this car to stop on a dime. Behind the 5.0L V8 is a 6-Speed automatic transmission for easy cruising no matter what speed you are going and hooked up to the 9” Ford rear end with 4.11:1 gears it is extremely peppy! Even with this drivetrain though, it is hard to believe this car is anything but a work of art. The body work is top notch and, with a well done black paint job laid atop of it, you can pick this car out from a crowd of Thunderbirds and will win best of class nearly anywhere it goes. The black with polished accents is a timeless look and this car will never go out of style no matter how many years pass. The interior keeps this theme going with a high quality grade of leather with red thread accents and polished aluminum and chrome accents. The driving position is comfortable and has plenty of room to get in and out of with the custom steering wheel. The custom gauge cluster looks appropriate for the times but are significantly more accurate and better looking than the originals. To turn on this car it is a simple turn of the hidden key and that modern V8 comes to life with no hesitation and the distinct growl of the coyote engine exudes from the rear of the car. Shift it into drive and you will feel as if you set off on a cruise in a brand new car! With only 160 miles since the build has been completed, everything is still very tight and feels just as good as the day it was built. This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is the best in its class and will make the buyer a very happy owner! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1957 Ford Thunderbird in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

This car has been subject to a meticulous, thoroughly documented, nut and bolt restoration. It has known history going back about 40 years and a huge photo file showing the best craftsmanship applied to a sound original car. Its current configuration matches the included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. From notes in the history the car appears to have been owned by a mechanic in Palm Beach, FL from 1982-84. During that time he advanced the odometer from 72k to 104k miles and it is reported to have had an undamaged history. At one point he painted and re-trimmed the car. In 2004 the car was sold on to an enthusiast in Los Angeles. Then, in 2005 the car was purchased by another enthusiast in the East who after owning the car for many years commissioned the total nut and bolt restoration putting the car is the superb condition you see today. The 1973 911S is powered by Porsches 2.4L motor with MFI (mechanical fuel injection) with a 5-speed gearbox. These are rated by enthusiasts among the most desireable and best handling of the early 911s. With 185 HP, this 911S does 0-60 in about 6.6 seconds, which was outstanding for the period. Here is an investment-grade collectible Porsche with known history, documented restoration, matching numbers, and a delightful special order color combination. Drive, tour or show with pride.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present this 2002 Porsche Boxster S for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. With just 30,215 miles on the odometer, this 3.2 liter 6 speed Porsche has miles and miles of driving pleasure to be enjoyed. The 2002 Boxster S develops 260 hp at 6200 rpm and torque is rated at 229 lbs-ft at 4600 rpm from a 3.2-liter flat-6 driving through a six speed manual transmission. The differences in suspension between a regular model and the S are that the latter has stiffer springs (by 25 percent at the front, 23 percent in the rear), retuned shock-absorber damping, longer rear lower control arms and larger wheel bearings -- all to improve stability during high-speed cornering. The really strong suit of this two-seater is its chassis balance. Every ounce of power gets applied, and the lateral stick really challenges your neck muscles. On winding two-lane backroads, the S rack-and-pinion slices and dices with razor-sharp response, a tacked-to-the-tarmac feel, and no on-center lag. If tire bite diminishes on a rough patch, you instantly know about it and can respond before the chassis does anything silly and costly. The ride is quite good for a lightweight two-seater. Only rarely does a really nasty expansion joint or a particularly deep pothole elicit anything more than a subdued thud and a polite wheel waggle. Simply beautiful, terrifically fun, and remarkably civilized in day-to-day driving, the Boxster S makes instant fans out of new drivers. If you’re looking for a two seat sportscar, look no further. To view this 2002 Porsche Boxster S, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

The year is 2002, George Bush creates the Department of Homeland Security on June 7th to fight threats of terrorism, The Winter Olympic Games are held in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, while this 35th Anniversary Convertible Camaro SS rolls off the assembly line. Since then she has only accumulated 29760 miles on her. This LS1 powered Camaro is a blast to drive, especially with the 6-speed manual. The fourth-generation Camaro debuted in 1993 on an updated F-body platform. It retained the same characteristics since its introduction in 1967: a coupé body style with 2+2 seating (with an optional T-top roof) or convertible (reintroduced in 1994), rear-wheel drive, pushrod 6-cylinder and V8 engines. The standard powerplant from 1993-1995 was a 3.4 L V6, then a 3.8 L V6 was introduced in 1995. A 350 CID Small Block V-8 engine, which was introduced in the Corvette in 1992, was standard in the Z28. Optional equipment included all-speed traction control and a new six-speed T-56 manual transmission; the 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission was standard on the Z28, yet optional on the V6 models which came with 5-speed manual as standard. Anti-lock brakes were standard equipment on all Camaros. A limited quantity of the SS version (1996-1997) came with the 330 HP small block engine from the Corvette, although most were equipped with the 305 HP. The 1997 model year included a revised interior, and the 1998 models included exterior styling changes, and a switch to GMs aluminum block LS1 used in the Corvette C5. In 1998, the 5.7 L LS1 was the first all-aluminum engine offered in a Camaro since the 1969 ZL-1 and carried a 325-horsepower rating. The SS versions (1998-2002) received slightly improved exhaust and intake systems, bigger wheels and tires, a slightly revised suspension for improved handling and grip while retaining ride comfort, an arc-shaped rear wing for downforce, and different gearing ratios for faster acceleration, over the Z28 models. Chevrolet offered a 35th anniversary edition for the 2002 model year. Production of the F-Body platform was discontinued due to slowing sales, a deteriorating market for sports coupés, and plant overcapacity, but an entirely new platform went on sale in 2009. The B4C Special Service Package for police agencies was carried over from the 3rd generation & sold between 1993-2002. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

The ’73 V-Dub was completely disassembled, stripped to the bare floor pan. The body was reassembled and aligned and coated in a stunning coat of metallic blue. This Bug features its original 1,600cc Dual Port Flat Four. The engine has been completely rebuilt and features tons of new goodies. It breathes in through a new Bocar one barrel carburetor, and is equipped with a Bosch coil as well as Bosch wires. The engine is dressed in chrome for a show car finish when you pop the bonnet. The exhaust is just rowdy enough and resonates the distinct VW flat four sound. Perhaps the most impressive part of the whole car is the underside. The pans are painted, and the undercarriage is a clear indicator of the time spent rebuilding this Beetle. To dress up the outside, the car now rides on 15” EMPI chrome wheels. The front end even features disc brakes to further modernize the car. The interior is rather jazzy as it lights up with blue LED lighting as soon as the door is opened. The front seats are sporty racing buckets, and the car has functional seat belts for all passengers. The list of work on this Beetle goes on and on. It has been built to be a reliable, fun to drive show car. This is a great way to enter the classic car hobby, or to expand your existing VW collection. You can see this 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 708-444-4488 or chicago@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

With only 1,600 miles on a freshly rebuilt drivetrain and a stack of receipts detailing the rebuild and restoration, this 1964 MG B is one of the nicest examples left! The stock 1.8L inline 4-cylinder and 4-speed manual transmission have been professionally rebuilt and fires right up. The stock 91 horsepower in this car was enough to get this little British roadster up to a top speed of 103mph and handles exceptionally well! Something else very unique to this car is that 3rd gear as well as 4th gear have an overdrive option that will help keep your rpms lower no matter what speed. The recently reupholstered black interior looks great and will keep you comfortable on the longer drives. The black interior compliments the stunning red exterior well and will turn heads where ever it goes. As you slide in, fire it up and start to cruise you will be amazed at how capable this car feels. The low stance and light weight allow it to dart around easily but is not so rigid that it is a rough ride. If you are looking for a fun roadster that you can take out on a long weekend cruise or just down to the local car show, this MG B is an excellent option for you! A great deal of time and money has been put into this MG to get it ready for the next owner. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. The well-heeled usually choose their status symbols for compelling reasons, and this SL process a host of them. They were built with superb care. They show sophisticated engineering. Theyre sublimely comfortable. And because of their bulk and stout structures, theyre just about the safest open cars imaginable. But beyond these attributes, most of the SLs have engines that are just about unburstable. There is a hard top and stand which accompanies this red MB to the new owner. Description:

This 1979 Chevrolet C10 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The C series line of trucks was extremely successful for the GM company. Though they had multiple revisions throughout its 40-year run the full-size series was one of the longest running lines in auto history. The 80’s seen a huge increase in the amount of people customizing these trucks. The mentality that a truck was just simply used for work was a thing of the past. This example has that old school custom look with the black paint showing extremely well. The Graphics on the side help to break up the paint while enhancing the step-side bed. The louvers on the hood are something that you don’t see much of anymore with many considering a lost art form. The mag wheels are in extremely clean condition with the fronts being 225/70/15’s and the rears having a much wider 295/50/15 giving the truck that aggressive look. Under the hood is a very healthy 350 small block that has plenty of power to get this American Classic down the road. The Edelbrock intake allows for more power through the mid and higher RPM range. The 12-bolt Posi Rear end has a set of 3.73 gears giving the perfect mix of down low power and high-end speed allowing for some highway cruising.Lets be honest though a nice smokey 2 wheel burnout dont hurt either. The interior of the cab is clean and rather comfortable with the springs giving just the right amount of support. The headliner is custom with it having some custom molds and then covered with the matching soft cloth material. If you have been wanting a unique vehicle that is a blast to drive this great driving truck is exactly what you need. Options on this 1979 Chevy C10 include; AM/FM/Cassette, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Mag Wheels and Radial Tires. Description:

Go Pack(ard) GO!!!! We have an awe inspiring 1950 Packard Deluxe 8. This is decked out to commemorate the Green Bay Packers. It features a 356ci Straight 8 with a 2 speed auto trans. Take this beauty tailgating to all the games, you will not be disappointed in the amount of heads that will turn while driving this beauty! Although the postwar Packards sold well, the ability to distinguish expensive models from lower-priced models disappeared as all Packards, whether sixes or eights, became virtually alike in styling. Further, amid a booming sellers market, management had decided to direct the company more to volume middle-class models, thus concentrating on selling lower-priced cars instead of more expensive—and more profitable—models. Worse, they also tried to enter the taxi cab and fleet car market. The idea was to gain volume for the years ahead, but that target was missed: Packard simply was not big enough to offer a real challenge to the Big Three, and lacked the deep pockets with which a parent company could shelter them, as well as the model lineup through which to spread the pricing. As a result, Packards image as a luxury brand was further eroded. As Packard lost buyers of expensive cars, it could not find enough customers for the lesser models to compensate. The shortage of raw materials immediately after the war—which was felt by all manufacturers—hurt Packard more with its volume business than it would have had it had focused on the specialty luxury car market. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1950 Packard Deluxe 8 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

We have an awesome 1963 Willys Jeepster for sale here in the Milwaukee showroom. This is a truly fantastic restoration of a military vehicle. It is coated in an era correct Olive Drab paint with all emblems, features a 4-cylinder motor with a 3-speed manual transmission and with 4x4 high and low gearing. This was a complete restoration registered with the MVPA and is Parade ready! You will not be disappointed by this incredible military vehicle. The Jeep legend began in November 1940, in the early days of World War II, just a year before the United States entered the war. A small, four-wheel drive prototype, the Willys Quad, was delivered to the US Army. It featured the Willys Go-Devil engine, developed by Delmar Barney Roos. With 60 horsepower and 105 foot-pounds of torque it not only exceeded the Armys requirement, but dwarfed the Bantams 83 and Fords 85 pound-feet of torque, its only competitors for the military contract. The Quad was the father of the MB, CJ series, and Wrangler. Willys refined the Quad and built 1,500 units of the Willys MA model, many of which were used in WWII. From 1941 to 1945 Willys produced the MB model, the original go-anywhere, do-anything vehicle, which came to be known by its nickname, Jeep. Made famous during WWII, Willys produced over 300,000 MB vehicles. Jeeps were heavily used by every division of the American military, with 144 Jeeps provided to every infantry regiment in the U.S. Army. Large numbers of Jeeps were shipped to the Allied Forces of Britain and Russia: nearly 30% of total Jeep production. The MB evolved into the M-38 military model, which featured a waterproof ignition system and was built from 1950 to 1951 specifically for use during the Korean War. During that conflict, Willy redesigned the M-38 and it became the M-38A1 with a longer wheelbase, softer ride, a more powerful engine and a new, more rounded body style. In production through 1962, during that time Willys also produced the M-170, which was designed to be fitted with several different body packages. One was a light troop carrier. Because passengers were somewhat enclosed compared to earlier models, the M-170 was also used as a field ambulance. This beautifully restored 1963 Willys Jeepster is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.
