Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this survivor quality 1951 Pontiac Chieftain four-door sedan for sale right now in in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. The Chieftain was one of the first cars from Pontiac to receive a post-war refresh, as everything in their line up before 1949 was based on 1942 model year cars. A victorious America is certainly evident in this car where a new middle class was emerging, and more consumers were becoming automobile owners for the first time. This Chieftain has been repainted since new but comes in its factory “Palmetto Green color. Tons of chrome can be found everywhere on this General Motors classic and make this Pontiac such a wonderful car to look at, let alone drive. Check out that Pontiac “Chief hood ornament too; what a throwback! Inside this Lead Sled youll see a Gray cloth interior with bench seats along with one of the biggest clock housings youve ever seen and an AM radio for the whole family to tune into on a weekend outing. The gauge set-up was made for the driver to make sure his pride and joy was running as it should, with readings for speed, water temperature, oil pressure, battery monitor and fuel level. Heater controls are also included for those cold mornings and are easily accessible behind the steering wheel, which is of course adorned with (you guessed it) more chrome. The numbers matching (according to the seller) 268 CID “Straight Eight 8-cylinder engine fills the engine bay, which produced 103 horsepower back in 51. Not fast, sure, but youll be amazed at how smooth and quiet these engines run and their reliability is well renowned to this day. GMs 4-speed Hydramatic Automatic transmission with the shifter located on the column gets you down the road with ease and efficiency. Theres just 71,000 original miles (according to the seller) on this Chieftain with only two owners from new- a real collector! See yourself pioneering your neighborhood in this 1951 Pontiac Chieftain yet? Give our enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sales staff a call at (623) 900-4884 for more information. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to offer this sharp 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger. This car has its original numbers matching engine, transmission, rear end and gearing. The Dodge Dart is an automobile originally built by Dodge from 1960 to 1976 in North America, with production extended to later years in various other markets. The Dart name originally appeared on a 1957 show car featuring a body designed by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Ghia. The production Dart was introduced as a lower-priced, shorter wheelbase, full-size Dodge in 1960 and 1961, became a mid-size car for 1962, and finally was a compact from 1963 to 1976. In 1974, the US federal 5 mph bumper impact standards were expanded to cover rear bumpers as well as front ones, and as a result the Swinger and Dart sedans rear bumpers grew much more massive. Taillights larger than the previous years items were set above the rear bumper, rather than within it. Shoulder and lap belts were finally combined in all Chrysler products into a retractable, inertia-sensitive, single-buckle design Chrysler called Unibelt, replacing the difficult-to-use separate lap and shoulder belts that had been installed through 1973. The Arab oil embargo of 1973, increased sales of smaller cars in the U.S. Dodge introduced the Dart SE (Special Edition) in mid-1974 as a four-door sedan and two-door hardtop. The SE included velour high back bucket seats with folding armrest, carpeted door panels, woodgrain instrument panel and deluxe wheel covers along with a TorqueFlite automatic transmission as standard equipment. The SE came equipped with the Quiet Car package introduced in 1973. The air conditioning system available on all Darts had increased capacity, quicker cooldown and lower minimum temperatures. An evaporator pressure regulator valve, long used on larger Chrysler products, varied the compressors capacity without cycling the clutch. The Dart Sport 340 was replaced by the Dart Sport 360 245 Bhp. as the 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 engine replaced the 340 cu in (5.6 L) engine discontinued after 1973. This 360 V8 engine has about 115k actual miles and still runs and drives top notch. Painted in a dark orange with black hood scoops and rear stripe, this car is a true head turner. The black vinyl interior is in great condition along with the dash and headliner. Options on this Dart include; A/C, AM radio with upgraded speakers, power brakes and steering, vinyl interior, Weld Racing wheels, and radial tires.Do not miss out on this beauty! Everything on this Lemans is original, with 11,651 miles on it. This Lemans comes power brakes, power steering, radial tires, spare tire and jack. Youll enjoy the smooth ride that the 350 cubic inch 2 barrel small block V8 coupled with a 3-speed Turbo 350 automatic transmission delivers to the road. All models featured the federally mandated 5-mile-per-hour front bumpers along with single headlights. Handling capabilities were greatly improved on all models due to new front-suspension components shared with the F-body Pontiac Firebird and Chevrolet Camaro, improved rear-coil suspension and bias-belted tires (except Grand Ams, which got radial tires). Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is fired up in presenting this 2001 Ford Mustang Bullit for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom. The Mustang basically has the legacy of being the front face of Fords performance cars. The Mustang has gone through quite a few changes since its 1964 debut featuring an inline 6 cylinder. The year 1994 came through ushering in the first of the SN95 body style featuring a complete redesign inside and out over the Fox body which was smaller, less spacious and always left something to be desired in terms of comfort. The year 1996 came around and the 4.6 modular engine was introduced to multiple vehicles including the Mustang. The completely new design to the Ford included overhead camshafts and different combinations as far as cylinder head design and the number of valves each cylinder would feature pending purpose and application. This Highland Green beauty was painted this color to resemble in the same color as the hero car of the 1968 Steve McQueen film Bullit in order to pay homage to a movie that featured one of the greatest on screen car chases and an actor that would become a auto enthusiast icon in his short life span. The 4.6-liter V8 residing under the hood is bolted to a 5-speed manual transmission giving the driver the exhilarating feels of American muscle as if they were the one ready to jump the steep roads of San Francisco. The Bullit has been added to further add on to an already mean machine by adding an aftermarket set of American Muscle staggered replica wheels which feature 315mm tires in the rear and 275mm up front which, when combined with the stance provided by the Eibach lowering springs supplying a 2 inch drop, makes for a nice but aggressively stanced car. The Mustang also features air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with a CD player, power seats, power windows, traction control, power locks, and cruise control which makes for easy cruising in this icon on wheels. This 2001 Ford Mustang Bullit is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

For sale in our Detroit Showroom is an absolutely gorgeous 1966 Ford Mustang. Upon its official debut in 1965, the Ford Mustang was Fords most successful launch since the Model A. This iconic machine essentially created the term Pony Car and has been influencing the sports-car market ever since its birth. The Mustangs release took the entire automotive industry by storm. It was only anticipated that Ford would sell less than 100,000 Mustangs upon its arrival into the automotive world. Boy, were they wrong! Ford produced over 1 million Mustangs within the first 18 months of its production due to the enormous demand. This Mustang comes equipped with a 289CID 4-Barrel V8 that pumps out 200HP. This power-plant is paired to a 3-Speed manual transmission which makes driving this late 1960s muscle car a blast. The interior on this Mustang is a nicely upholstered blue vinyl with cloth insert interior that still looks great. This nostalgic pony rests on a set of era correct wheels with hub caps which give this Mustang a perfect stance. The Vintage White pony car is exactly what you need for a weekend cruiser. With the same owner for the last 26 years maintaining this beautiful pony car, it has a lot of life left ahead of it. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is stoked in presenting this white 1984 Pontiac Trans Am for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom. Starting in 1982, remodeling came about to the Camaro and the Firebird/Trans Ams that shouted to a more modern look to an already reputable and affordable sports car in the GM lineup. The Trans Am took off after 1982 following the TV show Knight Rider making us all fall in love with the futuristic car persona that was Kitt Karr. One look at the cars boxy yet aerodynamic body lines was a step forward in fueling the popularity of the 3rd generation body style and would help the progression of different sub models populate production. This Trans Am came as a well optioned car being that it had the 5.0-liter high output V8 engine sitting under the hood, which still has the snorkel tube that does tot the hood induction still miraculously intact. Bolted to the small block, there is a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission transferring power to the rear tires while offering good highway manners being that it has electronic overdrive. When you open the door to this beauty, it will be noticed that this car comes equipped with highly desirable Recaro seats that have been reconditioned and look as awesome as the day they were manufactured. This car comes loaded with an aftermarket radio deck with a CD player, power steering, power brakes, power windows and power door locks. And finally, the Trans Am sports a set of T-Tops for when the weather permits and youre wanting to enjoy a beautiful summer day. The time is now to make a move on this gorgeous 3rd gen. Dont let it slip through your fingers! This 1984 Pontiac Trans Am is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

ONLY 27K MILES, #S MATCHING L-82 MOTOR, ORIGINAL BUILDSHEET, VERY CLEAN C3! There cant be many car guys who havent lusted for a Corvette at some point in their lives. This great-looking 1980 example is a fantastic way to break into the Corvette hobby for not a lot of money, and with only 27498 original miles, its an incredible survivor thatll get a ton of respect at shows. You simply cant go wrong with a classic combination like white over red on your fantastic plastic. This one remains almost entirely original and has been very well maintained from new, so the finish sparkles and the shine is outstanding for a car thats 35 years old. Its virtually impossible to duplicate the factory look (even though a lot of shops try), and this one has a wonderful patina that screams survivor the moment you see it. By 1980, build quality had improved by leaps and bounds, so youll find tight gaps, neat-fitting bumper caps, and T-tops that seal up well. With an update in 1978, the fastback profile with aggressive front and rear spoilers is as good as the C3 got, and is instantly recognizable today. There are no notable deviations from stock and were quite impressed by how well the various pieces and parts match, always a problem with early C3 Corvettes. Crisp emblems, nice lenses, and only modest signs of wear make this car a slam-dunk in preservation class judging. The contrasting burgundy leather interior is pure 1980s cool, but it looks more elegant and upscale than, say, the silver space capsule look of the 1978 pace cars. With a comfortable look thats inviting, its hard to resist sliding into those deep buckets and looking out over the long, dramatic hood. The drivers seat shows only very minor wear thats commensurate with the cars age and mileage, while the rest of the interior is very well preserved with almost no signs of use. Corvettes were loaded with standard equipment in 1980, including A/C, power windows, power locks, tilt wheel, and a complete array of gauges that are highly visible and easy to read. A newer Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo head unit has been fitted to the center stack, and the workmanship is excellent, not to mention the sound, so it doesnt really detract from the overall presentation. The weather-stripping is mostly original, but this is one T-top Corvette that seals up rather well and it is remarkably free of squeaks and rattles inside. Dual snorkels on the air cleaner mean an L82 engine with 230 horsepower, and its coupled to an automatic transmission. With 230 horsepower, it was a stout performer in 1980, and even today the rumble of the exhaust and solid whack of torque will get your heart racing on the street. It starts quickly and idles easily thanks to a recent service, and there are few engines more reliable than a 350 Chevy topped by a 4-barrel carb. Highly original, the engine bay is clean and well-maintained, and unlike so many of its siblings, it remains completely stock so no worries about previous abuse. Underneath, its in good order, and even still runs an original-style exhaust system with catalytic converter. The original slotted alloy wheels look great and wear fat 255/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials. This car represents a great opportunity to get into the Corvette hobby at an awesome price with a car that has survivor status everyone will admire. Call today! Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is extremely proud to offer this absolutely stunning 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod. Although the term “Restomod is often misused, this Corvette is the perfect example of what a Restomod really is. At first glance, you are drawn in by the deep Black paint with an impressive stance on its full Art Morrison Chassis. This stance is achieved by Corvette upper and lower control arms, coil over shocks and a 4-link rear. What all this meticulously planned suspension set up does is allow you to translate power from the fuel injected LS3 6.2L V8 to the ground effectively. The powerplant is paired to a tight and smooth shifting Tremec 5 Speed manual which spins the Ford 9 rear end with 3:73 gear ratio. This car is extremely well sorted and ready for long or short distance cruising. Along with all the go-fast parts, this Corvette can stop on a dime. The 4 wheel drilled/slotted disc brakes are equipped with Wilwood 4 piston calipers that will grab the wheels to a stop as soon as you lay your foot on the brake pedal. This Corvette features an impressive Red leather interior from Al Knoch who also supplied the black soft top. The interior comforts you with modern amenities like a Kenwood Excelon 2din Multimedia unit that even has a reverse camera tucked in the rear. The Navigation head unit provides a modern touch to the already impressive interior on this 61 Vette Restomod. The Corvette sits on a very nice set of Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in none other Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, a Corvette must. For the buyer who is looking for a truly exciting ride that brings back memories of a great time in American Automotive history and offers contemporary performance and comfort, this Vette is calling your name.
