Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia offers this iconic muscle car, a real 1968 Plymouth Road Runner at our showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! The concept of the biggest “bang for your buck” is thoroughly embodied by the Plymouth Road Runner as buyers got a whole lotta car for one heck of a price. The manufacturer was going after the youth market, a demographic that was previously not inclined to visit a Plymouth showroom. Plymouth Vice President Bob Anderson sought the advice of auto journalists to answer the big question, what kind of car would a young person buy? The answer was an affordable, stripped mid-sized performance car that had a recognizable, catchy name. Jack Smith, then manager of Plymouth’s B-Body planning group and the man behind the beep-beep, was watching a Saturday morning cartoon featuring the familiar coyote and road runner noting, “The cartoon character was hot off the line, it was fast, it never got beaten and could stop on a dime.” Well, after some deliberation and a lot of convincing, Plymouth launched the Road Runner in 1968 and it was met with remarkable success. Now available, you too can own this great car coated in a loud Omaha orange paint and sporty black hood stripes that pair beautifully with the sharp black vinyl top. This fast bird rumbles with numbers matching 383 CID V8 coupled to a four-speed manual transmission that shifts with ease. HEI ignition means you’re good to go in terms of spark and listen to that great “beep beep” horn! The car went through a fresh rotisserie restoration in April 2017, with a complete undercoating and has new chrome Magnum 500 wheels surrounded by some new rubber. Sit down on the comfortable black bench seat and enjoy some tunes coming from the Retrosound® Bluetooth stereo that sounds terrific. The interior features a new headliner, new carpet, door panels, armrests and package tray! The car has new hoses, mufflers, tailpipes, fuel and brake lines and a new gas tank! This Road Runner is ready to go! Are you able to outsmart it and tame the famed bird? Give us a call today and give that coyote a run for his money! To view this 1968 Plymouth Road Runner in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is excited to offer this 2000 Plymouth Prowler. This Triple Black example is a 3-owner car with under 18,000-miles, and will come with a matching trailer. As you may know, the Prowler foundation is an aluminum frame fabricated from the latest alloys, the body is also made of aluminum and sheet-formed plastic, joined together with a new compression fastening process. Suspension components are also aluminum, using a new forging process, and the front suspension was based on a Formula 1-like pushrod design that hid the coil-over shocks inside the body. All off the efforts put into new materials and manufacturing truly keep the weight down making this car very fun to try. The 253-hp V6 propels the 2,800-pound Prowler very nicely. (Motor Trend saw 0–60 in 7.1 seconds on a pre-production car). As Chrysler Chairman Bob Eaton said in telling the world that Chrysler would build the Prowler, “It’s for real, and either you get it or you don’t.” Along with claiming the title of the world’s only factory-built hot rod, the Prowler may be the only production automobile offered with a matching trailer. Prowlers have only the smallest of trunk space, especially with the top removed, and the $5,000 option offered much-needed room for longer trips †again following hot-rod tradition. When you combine the trailer with the optional factory hard top it makes this even more of a rare find from our friends at Plymouth. You can view this 2000 Plymouth Prowler in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (678) 894-4833 or email us at Atlanta@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer super nice 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible. The second-generation Barracuda, now a 108 in wheelbase A-body, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. In 1967, while the 225 cu in slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in B big-block, rated at 280 bhp which was only available only with the Formula S package. Now just imagine if a 440 V-8 were available in 1967? Why it would have ran circles around the other pony cars. With a little thought and work the 440 V-8 fit right in there. It even looks like its from the factory. Backing the rebuilt 440 is a new automatic transmission that only has about 500 miles on it. To bring this healthy big cubic inch 440 back down to a halt, disc brakes have been added to the front. All the work to this car has been done in the last 2-3 years by Snake Pit Customs of Indianapolis, Indiana. If you’re looking for a fun summer time cruiser, that can burn tires at the push of the pedal, then look no further. This Cuda will be sure to impress your friends! Options for this 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible include; AM/FM radio with CD player, power steering, power convertible top, seat belts and Aluminum wheels wrapped in radial tires. Nows your chance to own a fun 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible for sale! Description:

This gold 1972 Plymouth Cuda is now stealing the show at the Milwaukee showroom at Gateway Classic Cars. Among so many cool cars that proudly set example of what makes a top notch Mopar, there were a few models that truly took the cake on this. The Plymouth Cuda was one of which that did. Being based on the same chassis as the Dodge Challenger, which was also a heavy hitter in the mean muscle car department, there was expectation of what this car would be capable of being a cousin to a household name in high horsepower American cars. Equipped with a 340 cubic inch LA small block V8 under the hood, this Cuda fits under the street fighter mentality that it was originally built for. The V8 pushes its power through a 727 Torqueflight automatic 3-speed transmission that has proven time and time again to be amongst one of the greatest transmissions ever made by Chrysler. The drivetrain is also accompanied by a Chrysler 8 3/4 inch rear axle supplying strength to hold down the rear wheels. This Plymouths retro-muscle look is set off by the gold paint job that features side blackout graphics that would remind someone of the Challenger T/A. This car also features Magnum 500 wheels that are wrapped in radial tires featuring raised white lettering on the tires. The Cuda also features air conditioning, AM/FM radio, power steering, power brakes, and an aftermarket cruise control module to make driving this legendary muscle car an absolute breeze. This 1972 Plymouth Cuda is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is very excited to offer what we believe is a rare 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury. This very fine example is like a time capsule for life back in the 50s! Talk about cars with fins! This extra fine example shows very well, someone laid a nice flat and straight black paint job, and the stainless steel trim is in unbelievably wonderful condition, as are the bumpers, and body side trim. It would take very little to take her to the next level - which would make her 1 of the nicest examples you may ever find, or just leave her as she sits - shes that nice now. This car can be brought to any car show, and gain attention from many - she stands out that much, you cant help but look! This Sport Fury is powered by a 1969 383 bored .30 over, 10:1 compression, balanced, Edlebrock aluminum heads, roller rockers, Mutha-Thumber camshaft, aluminum intake, Demon 750 carb, MSD distributor, Flame Thrower ignition, Marchs Front Runner serpentine belt assembly, mated to a rebuilt 1969 727 Torque Flight automatic transmission with 2800-rpm stall converter, and a 1987 Camaro posi-traction rear end. The consignor states her to be a California car, that was restored in the early 2000s, and passed on the information he was given 2-years ago when he bought her. This car was not only built to catch your eye, she was built to cruise! She was gifted to some basic upgrades that just takes her to the next level, such as 4-wheel disc brakes, p/s converted to gearbox pump, added a new power brake booster, and of course - a sound system. I can go on and on - but when you look her over - youll understand what were trying to convey. What really separates the uniqueness of this beauty is the front seat assembly - looks like a bench seat - when its actually bucket seats that swivel - and yet you can seat 3-people up front. Why would a design like this disappear? As stated, she was redone back to her birth colors, black exterior, red cloth/ vinyl interior that is just as nice as they come! Options for this 1959 Sport Fury include; cloth/vinyl interior, a/c, power steering, power brakes, 4-wheel brakes,am/fm/cd stereo, American Racing Torque Flight wheels, Toyo Spectrum Touring Radial tires P215/65R15. If youre looking for a 1950s Classic with Fins - look no further - you found her! But dont wait - as were sure this one will not last! You can view this 1959 Plymouth Splort Fury in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (678) 894-4833 or email us at Atlanta@gatewayclassiccars.com.
