Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1982 Mercedes 380SL. This Mercedes is a cool shade called Sun Yellow with what the seller calls a Biscuit interior. Powered by the smooth Mercedes six and an automatic transmission this car is a perfect blend of luxury and performance. The engine is a single overhead cam unit with two valves per cylinder and was good for around 175 HP which in a car weighing 3400 lbs. translates into respectable performance. And of course, because it is a Mercedes it is very well equipped. Air conditioning, AM FM CD, power steering and power brakes, power locks and windows make you comfortable in the leather interior. The hardtop is easily removeable and of course the convertible top goes up and down in a flash. Sunday morning drives will be a pleasure. The 380SL has almost a limo feel to it due to its S-Class lineage and that means a comfortable ride and smooth running. It will hunt hard through the curves and bends, you know theres a beefy car underneath. It is a great combination of performance and luxury. To view this 1982 Mercedes 380SL in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1939 Jaguar SS100 convertible. The paint immediately sets this sharp Jag apart from its counterparts. The deep brown and tan two-tone is a timeless color combo, and both have the high gloss look of a quality investment. The separation of the two colors also draw extra attention to all the best parts of this design. Plus, the convertible top is in a slightly lighter shade against the paint, and that gives this Jag replica a truly European touch. The chrome accents add the luxury feel, like the Jaguar leaper mascot, chrome bumpers, dual horns, and wire wheels covers (its a matching set of six to include both spares.) Under the hood is a 1.4-liter overhead camshaft Chevrolet motor thats sturdy and utilized from a Chevette. That means the heart of your custom cruiser delivers reliable performance and easy maintenance. When you listen to the purr of the custom exhaust, you wouldnt think of this being powered by a 4-cylinder engine. This roadster is a thrill to drive with its 4-speed manual transmission and different windshield options. During the engine rebuild, a spal electric fan with thermostat control, new radiator, new carburetor, spark plugs, distributors, and even a new alternator were installed. This car not only comes with the full windshield with a full soft top but also the sporty two small wind visors and a tonneau cover to put over the rear and passenger seat while driving! The interior holds the luxury European flow with nicely bolstered brown leather bucket seats. The quality of the presentation reminds you this is a low mileage build but only about 12k miles since new crate motor was installed. Like a proper European-style roadster you get plenty of wood on the custom dash and grippy sports steering wheel. Suicide doors, a dash-mounted rear mirror, side wind deflectors, and a full set of classy gauges complete this vintage motoring package. Complete with maintenance records, this one would already be a lot of fun for the money even if it werent out to look like a pre-war Jaguar. For those who enjoy something that turns heads at a value price, weve got a toy for you. This 1939 Jaguar SS100 is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

This 1984 Buick Riviera is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Produced by Buick from 1949 to the current day the riviera has constantly evolved to stay with the times. Keeping with what was cool at the time with it first being a high-end hardtop luxury car then in the late 50s the trend turned to the personal luxury car market so naturally Buick was there to satisfy the masses. Never being a trend setter but more of a follower the people at Buick felt that it was ok because they could do it better. Kind of like apple with computers none of their own ideas just perfected someone elses. The name itself was used to bring thoughts if grand luxury like the French riviera. With over 1.1 million cars sold the riviera seemed to be the model people could go to for luxury European style and feel but buy American. In 1979 as with all other manufacturers the riviera made the change to front wheel drive. This white beauty has been pampered. Although the Carfax does show a discrepancy in mileage it is consistent and by looking at this all original car you can tell the odometer has not rolled over. It as clean as they come. No accidents of any kind. The 307 V8/ under the hood dont miss a beat running in tip top shape no smoke or hesitation this is a clean clean rivi as they are called. The interior is exactly what you would think clean and comfy. The spoke wheels hint to its luxury roots. With the ac just getting a service this bad Buick is ready to roll windows up AC on. AC, AM/FM, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Power Steering , Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Ride Control, Tilt Wheel, Wire Wheel Hub Caps, White Wall Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to offer this sharp 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger. This car has its original numbers matching engine, transmission, rear end and gearing. The Dodge Dart is an automobile originally built by Dodge from 1960 to 1976 in North America, with production extended to later years in various other markets. The Dart name originally appeared on a 1957 show car featuring a body designed by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Ghia. The production Dart was introduced as a lower-priced, shorter wheelbase, full-size Dodge in 1960 and 1961, became a mid-size car for 1962, and finally was a compact from 1963 to 1976. In 1974, the US federal 5 mph bumper impact standards were expanded to cover rear bumpers as well as front ones, and as a result the Swinger and Dart sedans rear bumpers grew much more massive. Taillights larger than the previous years items were set above the rear bumper, rather than within it. Shoulder and lap belts were finally combined in all Chrysler products into a retractable, inertia-sensitive, single-buckle design Chrysler called Unibelt, replacing the difficult-to-use separate lap and shoulder belts that had been installed through 1973. The Arab oil embargo of 1973, increased sales of smaller cars in the U.S. Dodge introduced the Dart SE (Special Edition) in mid-1974 as a four-door sedan and two-door hardtop. The SE included velour high back bucket seats with folding armrest, carpeted door panels, woodgrain instrument panel and deluxe wheel covers along with a TorqueFlite automatic transmission as standard equipment. The SE came equipped with the Quiet Car package introduced in 1973. The air conditioning system available on all Darts had increased capacity, quicker cooldown and lower minimum temperatures. An evaporator pressure regulator valve, long used on larger Chrysler products, varied the compressors capacity without cycling the clutch. The Dart Sport 340 was replaced by the Dart Sport 360 245 Bhp. as the 360 cu in (5.9 L) V8 engine replaced the 340 cu in (5.6 L) engine discontinued after 1973. This 360 V8 engine has about 115k actual miles and still runs and drives top notch. Painted in a dark orange with black hood scoops and rear stripe, this car is a true head turner. The black vinyl interior is in great condition along with the dash and headliner. Options on this Dart include; A/C, AM radio with upgraded speakers, power brakes and steering, vinyl interior, Weld Racing wheels, and radial tires.Do not miss out on this beauty! Now available for sale in our Milwaukee showroom is this beautiful dark blue 1973 Pontiac Lemans. This one-owner Lemans sports a beautiful blue exterior with a white vinyl interior. Everything on this Lemans is original, with 11,651 miles on it. This Lemans comes power brakes, power steering, radial tires, spare tire and jack. Youll enjoy the smooth ride that the 350 cubic inch 2 barrel small block V8 coupled with a 3-speed Turbo 350 automatic transmission delivers to the road. The 1973 Le Mans, along with all other GM intermediates, was new from the ground up but retained the same wheelbase lengths of 112 inches for two-door coupes, and 116 inches for four-door sedans and station wagons. All models featured the federally mandated 5-mile-per-hour front bumpers along with single headlights. Handling capabilities were greatly improved on all models due to new front-suspension components shared with the F-body Pontiac Firebird and Chevrolet Camaro, improved rear-coil suspension and bias-belted tires (except Grand Ams, which got radial tires). Engine offerings were carried over from 1972 with revisions to meet the 1973 emission requirements. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is excited to announce the addition of this 1967 Volkswagen Beetle convertible to our Consignment inventory. The Beetle was first produced in the 1930s with the intentions of becoming the “peoples car or Volkswagen in German. Volkswagen was the brainchild of Adolf Hitler to produce a reliable vehicle for the hardworking people of Germany, and a car that was not only inexpensive but safe to drive. In fact, the Beetle was to be mass produced and sell for 1000 Reich Marks or about $140. Unfortunately, by 1939 World War II had begun ending production of the Beetle shortly after the first car came off the assembly line. After the war ended, Allies helped resurrect the German auto industry to become a global enterprise. At first sales were slow due to the Nazi connection, but by 1975 Volkswagen was the largest vehicle importer in the United States. Reaching an incredible fifteen million units sold to date. Our 1967 Volkswagen Beetle convertible Type 1 is a fine example of the “peoples car. The engine is an air cooled 1500cc H4 attached to a four- speed manual transmission. Attractive pale- yellow paint and black interior with a matching convertible top make this Beetle convertible a must have. This 1968 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible also comes with its parade boot. Whether you are a Beetle enthusiast or looking for a little fun in the sun this convertible fits the bill! This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144.
