Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1965 Dodge Dart GT. This Dodge Dart GT Convertible is in good condition and stands as an unrestored car. IT is powered by a 273 CI V8 with a 4 BBL carburetor and an automatic transmission. In 1963, the Dart got a much more conventional look, offering a full range of sedan, hardtop, station wagon, and convertible models. And when speaking of the convertibles, youll be hard pressed to find one as handsome as the stunning 1965 Dart GT model. This Dart GT has been taken care of since day one and still maintains most of its originality. This 1965 Dart maintains its original interior and bright work. Look at the cool vents in the front fenders. The powerful V8 needs to breath. This car screams 60s at you from every direction. Smooth body lines and small design features like the GT logos on the top of the front fenders. The coming years would see the Dart getting bigger engines and even more performance. These early models though were an insight as to where Detroit was going with the whole Muscle car thing. This Dart is equipped with a power top, automatic transmission and spare tire. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1984 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista! Here is a fine example of a 1-owner car! The title is the original title from the original purchase! This fine example of a maintained automobile is offered for sale after a pampered life with one owner. Of course, there has been maintenance and reconditioning over the years to keep it in good form, but the drivetrain remains original! For starters, the cold blowing AC has been upgraded to R-134. Unfortunately GM wasnt known for rust prevention in the 80s, but luckily the owner has taken care of previous rust and replaced the bad panels over the years. Mechanically the car has had regular oil changes. Some maintenance items include shocks, motor mounts, body mount, grill, hood ornament, moulding, bumpers rechromed, and the body painted. This is a fine example of an automobile and has a great story to go along with it! 1984 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista is presented through our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this one-owner 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL on consignment marketed with our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. 1985 was the last year Mazda offered the “tear-drop RX-7 chassis that offered Rotary power for the first time in a Mazda product. This rare ownership opportunity is headlined by the revolutionary ‘Wankel Rotary engine. The Rotary engine defied the norm with its design by featuring a triangular rotor that revolves around the combustion chamber instead of traditional pistons, resulting in a much smaller displacement. On top of this, the engine was so light and compact that it could be mounted behind the front axle and meant the RX-7 could achieve a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Following the initial success of the 12A engine, Mazda continued to offer it in the 1985 model year such as this vehicle. Estimated horsepower was an even 100 which on a small, nimble car is a healthy number for some high rev line fun. Paired to this peppy motor is a responsive 5-speed manual transmission that had a clutch swap in 2006 according to the sellers records. The car comes in its original Black paintjob that has held up well over the course of its life although there are some small rock chips on the front end from highway driving. Aluminum alloy sport wheels give this Mazda some serious curb appeal! Inside this RX-7 is an equally nice place to be with Burgundy velour bucket seats, a leather wrapped steering wheel, full gauge set and storage areas in the center console and glove box. Entertainment and comfort is covered by air conditioning, power windows/mirrors, a sunroof and the original Dolby AM/FM stereo with cassette player that is a total 80s throwback on its own! The good news for perspective buyers of an RX-7 is that prices for these probable future collectibles remain affordable. Now is your chance to pick this usable, practical classic for a great price! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette marketed on consignment with our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. This Corvette is part of the recognizable “C3 body-style that spanned 14 years from 1968-1982. Painted in a glistening coat of White, this sports car has all the typical Corvette body lines, desirable “T-Tops that can be easily removed for a wind-in-the-hair experience and a sloping, wraparound rear window that was synonymous with late model C3s. This 1980 Corvette looks all stock from the outside down to the alloy wheels and BF Goodrich radial tires. Under the forward-opening hood lies the secret- in this case an upgraded 350 CID V8 engine that is comparable in displacement to what came in this car originally but is streets ahead as far as power goes compared with a stock 80 motor. The small block 350 CID engine has an aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, exhaust headers and an aluminum radiator for improved cooling capacity. This engine has been moderately used with 5,000 miles since it was installed according to the seller so theres plenty of life left. Shifting the gears is a TurboHydramatic 350 3-speed automatic transmission- a unit that came with this vehicle. The interior of the Corvette has always promoted a driver-centric experience with seating low to the ground and all the cockpit controls made easily accessible. This car has Red carpet and reupholstered vinyl bucket seats with the small storage area behind allowing for a few personal items. Power windows, upgraded R134 air conditioning and an aftermarket Kenwood stereo system with AM/FM/CD capability are nice conveniences to have. Driver information is plentiful in this C3 Corvette with a full gauge set and large 140mph speedometer/7,000rpm tachometer behind the Red vinyl wrapped tilt steering wheel. If youre looking for a fun driver that brings back the nostalgia and wont break the bank, look no further. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this awesome T-Bucket! This one is obviously based on a much older vehicle but is titled as a 1969. This one is powered by a powerful 350 CID V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission for a smooth and punchy driving experience. Safety is enhanced with the addition of seat belts which helps make this car a little less scary to drive. This one is in great shape and ready to hit the road or the strip! The T-Bucket is a hot rod based on a Ford Model T which was made from the 1915 to 1927 era. However, they are typically excessive modified from their factory form. These were favorites among greasers. A youth subculture popularized in the late 1940s and the 50s. The word greaser originated in the 19th century in the United States as a derogatory label for poor laborers. The term was later used to refer to mechanics. It wasnt used in writing to refer to the American subculture of the mid-20th century until the mid-1960s, though in this sense it still evoked a pejorative connotation and a relation to machine work. The name was applied to members of the subculture because of their characteristic greased-back hair. T-Bucket was specifically created and named by Norm Grabowski in the 50s. Hid car was named the Lightning Bug, better known as the Kookie Kar, after being redesigned by Grabowski and appearing in the TV show 77 Sunset Strip, driven by character Gerald “Kookie” Kookson. The exposure it gained led to numerous copies being built. Since the last Model Ts were built in 1927, most modern T-buckets use replica fiberglass bodies. By the 1950s, original steel Model T bodies that had not been completely worn out were becoming increasingly hard to find and in 1957 the first fiberglass T-Bucket body (based on the 1923 version) was introduced by the short-lived Diablo Speed Shop in Northern California. Of the only two or three bodies built by Diablo, one was purchased by Southern California hot rod builder Buzz Pitzen and became the worlds first fiberglass T-bucket. This T-Bucket is in our Houston showroom. Come by and see us at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. You can contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com

Description:

This meticulously maintained and original Colorado car had a complete engine rebuild just over 1,400 miles ago and the transmission rebuilt just under 10,000 miles ago! Only 566 were built in 1973. 1973 was the 5th year that Cadillac was chosen as pace car through out the years. And this was the second time ever that a front-wheel drive car was leading the pack of race cars down the start lap, the first front-wheel drive pace car was a Cord some time in the 30s. And this was up to 1973 the most powerful pace car ever! The sheer weight of the Eldorado convertible forced the Cadillac engineers to take some measures to allow the car to reach the high speeds needed. The 8.2 liter 500 CID engine was tweaked. The smog control equipment and A/C had been removed. A new crank was installed as was specially forged pistons and a dual exhaust system, even the bumpers were replaced with polished aluminum instead of steel. And there were actually a second spare car supplied by the factory, just incase that something happened to the first. Both pace cars also had hood pins to secure the hood/bonnet as well as the flag pole mounts in the rear. Interestingly enough both cars survived the ordeal and one was actually converted back to a normal Eldorado convertible before being sold to the public. The other of the two actual pace cars was used for numerous testing purposes at the GM/Cadillac plant, for instance for testing rims and tires for the new generation of Chevrolet Corvette that was introduced in 1984. That car is said to have been scrapped and buried somewhere at a test facilities.. Besides the two actual pace cars and the 53 track convertibles, there were a number of coupe devilles, two sedan devilles and even a Fleetwood used during the race week. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DEN/113/1973-Cadillac-Eldorado-Pace-Car-Replica or our Denver showroom.
