With only about 2500 total miles on the drivetrain since being redone, this car is ready for some sedate, stylish cruising. Inside, youll find a custom-installed Vintage Air system housed in a custom center console, giving it a real factory look. The Vintage AC installation was done very tastefully underhood as well, with everything tucked away neatly and routed cleanly. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. BACKGROUND: The Model A paved the way for mass-produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model As. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. This particular example is the popular two-door, 5 window coupe, and features a fold-a-way rumble seat behind the cab of the car. 1931 would be the last year for the ever-popular Model A. Most would say the 5 window to be one of the most popular, especially for hot rodders. However, this fine example is no hot rod. This is a very well cared for original that has been fitted with some aftermarket add ons. First, and fairly common, are the add on turn signals. The next one is a big one, an inline gear reduction unit, a.k.a. an overdrive unit. This will make highway speeds a reality. It engages electronically via a switch located on the steering column. The body is finished in a dark brown that features a very slight metallic flake, the fenders are a solid gloss black, and the wire wheels are finished in yellow. The body features a yellow pinstripe to tie the whole thing together. The seat in the cab and rumble seat feature black vinyl upholstery, which are in very good condition. Under the hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine. It uses a 3-speed manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. These cars are not speed machines, but they are torquey and fun to drive around town. This one fires up nicely and runs and drives like it should. The odometer reads 5,632, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe include Vinyl Interior, Wire Wheels, Bias Ply Tires, and a Rumble Seat. This Model A is road ready and has a lot of life left. It is ready for a parade or just a nice stroll on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Take home a piece of history with this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. To view this 1931 Ford Model A in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. This cool camper runs through the gears with a 4-speed manual transmission which shifts smoothly through the gears. The rebuild was performed by “North Park Volkswagen” in San Antonio. This Van has been constantly driven with the original owner enjoying each ride past the age of 90 just out of sheer enjoyment. Walking around this Westfalia you will find everything is in original condition to include the paint. It has its scratches and bumps here and there but give it some nice history. Remaining in original condition, the car is in great shape for its age. Some of its features include: Stove, refrigerator, and even 2 area that’ll sleep a total of 4 people. This van has a few minor flaws as anything at this age would but nothing keeping it from hitting the road. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1981 Chevrolet Corvette. This car still has its numbers matching 350 V8 and 4 speed automatic transmission with only 25k actual miles. This Corvette is claimed to be a 1 owner car and was purchased new in Port Charlotte, Florida. It was repainted Beige and has nice Camel leather interior. The overall condition of this car is show quality and has been maintained to stay pristine. New tires, brake calipers and master cylinder have been replaced. This car also has had the A/C compressor changed but does come with the original upon request. In this Corvette, removing the T-tops and cruising with fresh air blowing through your hair is the most popular way to cruise. In 1981, there was only one powerplant available, a 350 cu in (5.7 L) engine that, like the L-48 base engine the previous year, produced the 190 hp, but was now designated the L81. The motor was certified in all states and available with manual or automatic transmissions. Chrome air cleaner lids and cast magnesium valve covers dressed up all engines. The stainless steel exhaust manifolds and computer control system introduced on the 305 cu in (5.0 L) California engines the previous year were now standard, as was an auxiliary electric engine cooling fan. This, the last C3 available with a manual transmission, so equipped, had a published 0-60 mph in 8.1 seconds. This model year was the first corvette to use a fiberglass rear leaf spring, now a Corvette trademark. The spring saved thirty-six pounds, but was limited to base suspensions with automatic transmission. When equipped with Delcos brand new optional ETR (Electronically Tuned Receiver) radio with a digital clock, the quartz analog instrument panel clock was replaced with an oil temperature gauge. The cast aluminum wheels, optional since ’76, were now ordered on 90 percent of the cars at a cost of $428. New options included a power adjustable driver’s seat and power remote outside mirrors. Options on this ’81 include;A/C, AM/FM radio, T-Tops, cruise control, power windows, tilt wheel, posi traction, rally wheels, and even leather interior. Do not let this C3 pass you by. This 1981 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

It’s not everyday that Gateway Classic Cars is given the pleasure to offer a vehicle that was built, documented, and owned by the same individual. What you see here is fantastic mix of 50’s east coast, patina rod, and rat rod stylings that took over 3 years to complete. This 1936 Ford Pickup is the final build of a man’s 45 year legacy of constructing custom rods. The build began with a fully customized frame. The rear is “Z’ed” approximately 10” to make way for a truly sinister stance. Unlike other rat rods, the ’36 Ford truck cab was lovingly restored, channeled 4”, and all cancerous rust was removed and replaced with new metal before being finished in Flat Black. The powertrain boasts an ever-popular and rebuilt/resealed 300 hp Chevy 350 small block pushing 9:1 compression which calls for 87 octane fuel. Lake-style headers provide the driver with an aggressive exhaust note. Behind the mildly-cammed Chevy 350 sits a TH350 3 speed automatic transmission with shift kit, custom driveshaft, and Ford 9” posi rear end with coilovers. The front suspension has been donned with manual rack and pinion steering, period-correct drop axle, and leaf spring. Manual disc brakes from an Impala with new stainless steel lines are utilized up front, while the rear is capped with drums. All gauges are in working order. The 14 gallon fuel cell will provide this build with a longer journey capacity than most custom rods. The car is correctly titled as a 1936 Ford, which can sometimes prove difficult depending on which state you seek approval, and the VIN is stamped both in the frame and firewall. Simply put, you can NOT put a custom rod like this together for even twice the modest sticker price. This ’36 Ford would be a fantastic initiation for anyone interested in entering the world of custom rodding, and all of the difficult work has been performed by a veteran and professional of the automotive business. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this sporty 1995 Chevrolet Corvette. Powered by the potent 350 cubic inch LT1 V8 engine and shifted manually by a 6-speed transmission, this is any road-racers dream! Throw in the rare White on Red color combination, and even the collectors get excited, and add in that this is a drop-top and you really have one sharp ride. In such a fine automobile it is great to be seen, but greater still to be heard. Thanks to an aftermarket exhaust made by Magnaflow, this ‘Vette is a screamer in the best way. With a very potent V8 making 300 horsepower, there is plenty of “go” for all this “show”, and a wonderful thunder erupting from the polished tailpipes as the soundtrack to your cruise. The soft red leather interior is as comfortable as your favorite reclining chair, and is so clean that it looks like it just came off the assembly line. The gauges are laid out in a very easily read manner, with an analog tachometer and highly visible digital speedometer. The clutch actuates with ease and grips firmly through the gears, and the shifter pops cleanly into each gear with no drama or grinding. The clean white paint is a beautiful contrast to the red leather and makes for a great conversation starter with your fellow enthusiasts. Such a clean example of the C4 generation Corvette sporting some uncommon options like this is likely to be a future collector’s item. Options include: Air-Conditioning, Alloy Wheels, Anti-Theft System, AM/FM/Cassette/CD, Manual Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Drivers Airbag, Lumbar Support, Leather Interior, Passenger Airbag, Performance Tires, Power Brakes, Power Door Locks, Power Seats, Power Steering, Power Windows, Ride Control, Rear Window Defogger, Traction Control, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, and a Numbers Matching Engine and Transmission.
