Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this quintessential example of a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe! The Ford Mustang was introduced unto the world on April 17th, 1964. The Mustang, conceptualized from the already popular Ford Falcon, provided the American working-class with a chance to own a modest sports car with a modest price tag, all without sacrificing overall enjoyment or amenities. Shortly after beginning production in mid-1964, the Mustang underwent extreme body modifications every couple of years, the first small tweak is seen here with this 1967. The 1967 and 1968 models were elongated by a few inches, with modifications to the car taking place in the front nose, as well as the sharpening of the body lines along the sides, while the rear taillight panel would now present itself with an indention, rather than a protrusion. Smaller, underpowered 8 cylinder motors were now offered with larger displacement than the first two production years, as well as more horsepower, and more amenities (such as back up lights). Upon decoding the VIN and datacode plate, we find that this particular C-Code 1967 (original 289cid v8 2bbl) was birthed in the San Jose plant before being shipped to Seattle for sale. An additional comfort that we find in this decoding of the Mustang is that this 1967 was Candy Apple Red from the factory, as well as adorned with black buckets, making her trim-code matching and very period-correct. For more information and to view dozens of HD pictures and a video of it running and driving, please visit www.GATEWAYCLASSICCARS.com and dial (708) 444-4488. Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this beautiful 1953 Nash Statesman Super. When was the last time you have seen one? We know, it was probably a long time ago. Here is your chance to get 1 of only 7,999 ever produced. This classic Pininfarina Italian designed Nash looks beautiful all the way around. The color combination of Caribbean blue and Champagne ivory is a perfect fit for the Nash. The interior was completely restored in 2009 and looks fantastic. Under the hood you find a 195.6 cubic inch flat head six engine that will take you to your next destination with ease. The engine is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission - “three on the tree” with overdrive. Within the past years a lot of work went into the car. The Nash is running on new radial tires. The engine was rebuilt and put back into a nicely redone engine compartment. It’s hard to believe that the price tag was $2,143.00 when it was sold the first time. After 65 years the Nash is still in great condition. The famous hood ornament designed by George Petty is still in place and if you continue the good care of this great automobile it will last another 65 years without problems. It is a great piece of craftsmanship that proofs one more time that the people were proud of their work back in the good old days. A perfect classic car to take to car shows or just hop in and go for a cruise around the town. You will see many people smiling while driving by and this is what this all about. Let’s keep the history alive – without it we would be nothing. Let it ride!!! To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1953 Nash Statesman, please visit gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is pleased to offer this rare 1991 Lotus Elan M100. Just 3,855 examples were produced between 1989 and 1992 making this a great find. This Elan M100 is the turbocharged variant producing approximately 162 horsepower. The motor in this Lotus is an Isuzu sourced 1,588cc turbocharged inline 4 cylinder. This motor was extensively modified by Lotus. Some of the modifications to the engine include a new exhaust system, rerouted intake plumbing, improved engine suspension, and modifications to the engine control unit to improve torque and boost response. Within the last 2 years a lot of work, time, and money has gone into making this Lotus the beautiful car it is today. In that time it received a new PPG paint finish, a new convertible top, new seat upholstery, new carpeting, and all general maintenance was performed. This car has always been garage kept. Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this unique throwback to the glory days of luxury cars from the “Big Three”, the 1972 Mercury Marquis. First introduced as an entry level luxury car in 1967, the Marquis was a popular choice for full-size comfort, style and ride. This is a very low-mileage example with fewer than 18,000 miles on the odometer! It is a two-owner car and has been cared for by the current owner since 2007. It benefits from several recent updates such as; newer tires, muffler and battery as well as an engine tune-up and Colorado emissions certification. Factory equipment such as Mercury’s signature hidden headlamps, deluxe wheel covers, cornering lamps, tilt wheel, power windows, locks, steering and brakes make this a great car to cruise the open road. The air conditioning system is not cold and will need a little attention. Extensive maintenance history is available, with receipts and documentation. A strong running 429 V8 is mated to a smooth shifting 3-speen automatic transmission. This is your chance to own a luxury cruiser, without the luxury price! Be sure to visit our webpage at www.gatewayclassiccars.com to view 100+ HD pictures, as well as a short video of the car in action. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is one smoking hot 1946 Ford Coupe. When this car hit the market in 1946 it was the best of both worlds, a little sporty, but could seat the whole family, however it wasn’t going to outrun the law. Up until the late 1990’s the original owner had this car which over time turned into any moonshiner’s dream. The car was hopped up with a strong V8 small block Chevrolet backed by a turbo-350 transmission this is a peppy little car that would have had an easy time out running Johnny law in the early 1950’s. The suspension has been beefed up with aftermarket shocks, and the interior was swapped out with something a little newer. Wearing hot rod red, there wouldn’t be much blending in so fast was the way they’d get the job done. Slide behind the steering wheel and you can see for yourself a view not too dissimilar than that of the moonshiners that participated in the very first NASCAR races in 1948. Description:

We are excited to offer for sale in our Saint Louis Showroom is this very well maintained 1970 Chevrolet C-10 with an 8-Foot bed; perfect for cruising, tailgating, or work. This pickup truck has been in the same family for over twenty-years and when purchased in 1998 the faded bed was given a fresh clearcoat and the belts, hoses, body brushings and valve cover gaskets were all replaced. In 2017 a Black Sliding Window, Bed Linder, Bed Rails, Original Wheels, Original Hubcaps, and new B.F. Goodrich Tires and GM Rally Wheels were added. Today, this Second Generation (1967-1972) C-10 still maintains the original intent of Ford with this line to combine some comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. We are still a way off from the F-150 King Ranch, but the taut and black vinyl seating and perfectly maintained dash make for a very comfortable ride. The 3-speed shifter on the steering column allows for easy driving for a truck that will surprise you with how smooth it turns and accelerates. This truck is being powered by a 307 CID V8 engine. Externally, there is a great deal to boast about how the gold and white paint reflects very well under the polished chrome trim, and blue Chevy Bow-Tie. The classic qualities of Chevrolet professionalism and workmanship are evident throughout on this 1970 C-10. We at Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa are excited to present to you this awesome 1979 Ford Mustang Pace Car. The Indianapolis 500 is one of the most famous races in the world. On May 27th 1979 the Ford Mustang set the pace for this intense race that would become a Rick Mears victory. This car is a special edition that celebrates the Ford Mustang Pace Car. The Ford Mustang was chosen as the Official Pace Car of the 1979 Indianapolis 500. Ford commemorated this event with a mid-year Indy 500 Pace Car version (10,478 produced). All were finished in two-tone pewter and black with orange and red graphics. The front end featured a unique front air dam with fog lights, and a full-length cowl type hood scoop, while the rear end got the new for 1979 rear spoiler (all of these additions carried over to both the 1980 and 1981 Cobra). The black interior featured Recaro seats with patterned black and white inserts. Available were the 2.3 L (140 cu in) four-cylinder Turbo with mandatory four-speed manual transmission or the 4.95 L (302 cu in) V8 with either an overdrive 4-speed manual or three-speed automatic transmission. The production cars included a sunroof. However, the three actual pace cars were fitted with a T-top by Cars & Concepts of Brighton, MI. The removable panel roof option would not become an available option until the 1981 model year. This Mustang is fitted with a 5.0L 302 cubic inch V8 with a 4-speed manual transmission. The current owner has owned it since 2003 and has replaced the seats, headliner and carpet. The Mustang has dual exhaust conversion with catalytic converters. Description:

Our Philadelphia Showroom is excited to present this 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 to our showroom for sale! This is a well optioned well cared for Z/28 with only 46,836 original miles on the odometer. The car was optioned beautifully from the factory with white exterior and contrasting orange racing stripes. The interior sports matching white leather interior including bucket seats in the front and rear. Clearly a sports car enthusiast bought this one new, as they chose the 6 speed manual transmission which makes the driving experience much more enjoyable. Stock, the car came with a 5.7 Liter LT1 which is a great engine, but about 1500 miles ago, the owner decided this Camaro needed a few more ponies. They had the LT1 performance built at a speed shop. The engine was bored .030 over and given an LT4 hot cam. It got all new lifters, springs, timing chain, rocker arms, rings, bearings, and gaskets. The end result is roughly 425 naturally aspirated horsepower. With fairly modest exhaust, this makes a great sleeper for those that might mistake it for a stock Camaro. The power delivery is smooth and predictable which makes for a fun car to drive. As if horsepower and a killer paint scheme wasnt enough, this is a T-top car which allows for open air driving without the rag top. This is a kick ass ride which has service records and invoices available for the performance work. To view this 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this awesome Chopper, the 2005 Big Dog Ridgeback. Big Dog Motorcycles was an American manufacturer of custom motorcycles, based in Wichita, Kansas, United States. The company was founded in 1994 then shut down in April 2011. Big Dog produced a single motorcycle in its first year, affectionately known as Old Smokey; its over-sized fenders and classic cruiser style would point the way for all of the companys later products. Big Dog produced nine models; the K-9, the Ridgeback, the Husky, the Boxer, the Mastiff, the Pitbull, the Coyote, the Wolf, and the Bulldog. All Big Dog motorcycles utilize S&S V-twin engines that measure to a whopping 117 cubic inch! A 6-speed manual transmission get you down the road and the big one-piece fuel tank makes for a fun cross-country cruiser. This 2005 Big Dog Ridgeback does not have rear suspension and is lovingly known as ‘kidney buster. Wide rear tires, and extensive use of chrome components is the Big Dog style. All of these models could be described as cruiser or chopper style motorcycles and the major differences between the models include rear tire width, front tube length, and rear suspension. Big Dog Motorcycles were particularly well known for their wide assortment of customizing options for their otherwise stock motorcycles. These include at least 69 paint and graphic options, and a wide selection of accessories, including custom seats, exhausts, grips, storage bags, sissy bars and windshields. Description:

Now available at our Houston showroom is this 1996 Trans Am WS6! **This car comes with a transferrable warranty through Warranty Direct until June 2018** “You had me at hello.” was the movie line of 1996 in Jerry Maquire and “totally” applies to this time capsule 1996 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Ram Air Performance Package. With only 23,017 miles and limited production numbers of only 2105 makes this pretty beast of a Pontiac pretty rare. But let’s forget the rarity of the car for a moment and the fact that the manufacturer doesn’t even exist any longer – and let’s talk about what is sitting outside. The curvy and seductive lines are classic Pontiac. Stance is low and daring, European but with American muscle. A view from the nose can only be described as menacing. The Fire Hawk inspired duel snorkel hood is only accented by what clearly looks like airplane landing lights nestled front and center. Closer inspection reveals ‘Ram Air’ inscription placed curiously non intrusive in matching body color lettering. In fact all lettering, Pontiac, Trans Am and Ram Air are all body color matching in Arctic White and blend right in with a 3d effect, until you reach the rear. There is no doubt this sexy beast wants you to know it is WS6 Performance Package, blazingly displayed in a red and gold emblem. Yes, you’re looking at a car that can do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of about 160mph and that’s stock – from 20 years ago! The mighty LT1 5.7 Liter 350 Cubic Inch V8 with new this year less restrictive exhaust system incorporating duel cats instead of the previous single canister. With the Pontiac Only Ram Air option horsepower muscled out another 20 horses to a venomous 305 HP and 335 pounds of torque, proud numbers even in today’s environment. The 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission shifts and handles the performance as it should. The only way to get the Ram Air engine was to order the Ram Air WS6 Performance and Handling Package, a $4,000 increase over the Firebird price. Both of these names were synonyms with Pontiac Performance from years past but not recently used. The WS6 meant stiffer suspension, steering and four wheel disc brakes that made the Trans Ams of the 70’s America’s best handling car of its time. This 1996 Trans Am exceeds all expectations with stiffer tubular front anti-roll bar, higher –rate springs, firmer transmission mount and Panhard-rod bushings with appropriate tuned shocks. The Ram Air Trans Am wasn’t seen since the 60’s. Borrowing right from the SLP Firehawk a set of 17x9 wheels wrapped in 275/40ZR17 Goodyear GS-C rubber added to top flight handling. It’s also the first year an F-body was fitted with 17” rims. The American Muscle car with European handling complete with air bags, anti lock brakes, AM/FM and CD player stereo with equalizer. Lumbar support- power seats, power door locks, power windows, tilt wheel, keyless entry, anti-theft system and T-TOPS! So, we know it’s fast, looks cool, will be a blast to drive and be seen in. With just a hair over 23,000 miles this could be your everyday driver for years at well under the cost of a new Hyundai. Or it’s the weekend cruiser, knowing the value of the no longer produced Trans Am is only increasing. Or do both, just make sure when you see other Trans Am owners you say ‘hello’. To view this 1996 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Performance Package in greater detail, including and HD video and HD pictures, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or visit our Houston Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this amazingly well-preserved 1990 Chevrolet Corvette coupe. This all-American sports car has traveled less than 50,000 original miles since it left a dealers lot nearly 28 years ago. Owned by a life-long car guy, its been well cared-for since new by other people with similar dedication to its preservation. Even the original red paint finish is nearly flawless. This Vette has pretty much every option that could be ordered, and even has a removeable roof panel. The glass insert panel has never been installed; its still in the original vinyl bag. The original window sticker is still with the car and shows how well-equipped it was when it was assembled in Bowling Green, KY. The original owners literature is still with the car. Everything on the car works well except that the power antenna gear has been stripped, but a new, genuine GM part comes with it. The RH window motor works intermittently, may just be a simple fix, although a new motor is included as well. The cylinder that keeps the back glass up needs to be replaced, and a TPMS sensor has tripped the warning light. These are all minor things, but need to be pointed out. The interior is flawless and even still smells new. A high quality car cover is also included. The leather seating surfaces are still soft. Sharp-eyed Corvette enthusiasts will notice that this car has later-model wheels on it. The current owner prefers the look of these beautiful wheels over what the car had on it originally. Whether youre a purist or not, you must admit that these wheels really look sharp on this one.
