Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this Fathom Blue 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. This Chevelle is believed to be a true SS 454 car, though it is undocumented. Unfortunately, the original 454 was removed at some point in the vehicles history, but under the hood now sits a fresh 496 cubic inch Shaffiroff big block Chevy. This is a very stout build sporting a 950cfm carb feeding the monstrous 4.310 bore by 4.250 stroke powerplant. The Eagle crank and rods topped off with a set of JE pistons are fully set up to handle the almost 600 dyno-proven horsepower that this iron lump puts out. While all that power can be fun, having a car that safely turns and stops is equally as important. Keeping the Chevelles speed in check is a set of Wilwood calipers clamping a set of vented disc brakes on all 4 corners of this beauty. A thorough restoration mechanically and cosmetically was completed in 2009 and many of the upgrades were done at this time, including an electric fuel pump, aluminum radiator, coil over front suspension with Global west lower control arms, and a correct date-coded 12-bolt rear axle assembly. The icing on the cake is the M22 “rock crusher 4-speed manual transmission giving the driver full control of this blue beauty. Turn the ignition, rev up that massive V8, and drop the clutch on this beastly Chevelle! Options include: AM/FM Radio, Spare Tire & Jack, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Rally Wheels, tires with Raised White Letters, and a Posi Traction rear Axle. For more information on this monstrous 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, please contact our Chicago office at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. To see more HD photos and an HD video of this vehicle running and driving please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.

Description:

Gateway Classic Carso of Chicago is proud to present this 1951 Mercury Custom. This chop-top and dropped Merc is a true beauty. this lean mean machine was recently finished, and was modified in all the old-school ways. Rather than bondo and filler, the chop and body work was all done with lead. This lead-sled is powered by a Cadillac 472 cubic inch V8 and a 200R automatic transmission, both rebuilt roughly 1500 miles ago, when the odometer was reset. The entire car was taken down to the bones to clean up minor rust repair (a license plate was even found in the fender as a patch panel!) and built back up correctly, to insure years of trouble-free enjoyment. Nothing was overlooked as the body was built back up, as the electrical system was re-wired, as the suspension was rebuilt, or as the HVAC system was retrofitted making this full size Custom cruiser into one clean ride. The side-exit exhaust is fully functional, and a quick removal of the cover plates will have this Caddy engine screaming out the side of this Merc. This Merc may be low, but it sure isnt slow! Hop in the drivers seat before it takes off without you!

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this sweet little 1981 DeLorean DMC-12. This DeLorean for sale is a great example of the 1980s. In a decade where big hair and hair bands reigned supreme and the fashion palate was Bright and flashy, a somewhat young auto executive decided he knew how to make a car better than anyone else. So, he took his ideas of a futuristic stainless steel, mid-engine car to Northern Ireland where for less than 3 years approximately 9,000 of these ultra-rare cars were built. Now even for the 80s this car was over the top! Every young urban professional, or yuppy as they were called then, lusted for one. The popularity was so great that the car was featured in the Michael J. Fox hit movie Back to the future where the car had the ability to travel through time. Well this 1981 DMC-12 for sale has all the right equipment but was ordered without the Flux Capacitor and the Mr. Fusion saving a lot of weight and who really wants to travel back in time? This incredible 81 DeLorean for sale has been in the same hands for many years, tucked in a garage and covered, well takin care of and lightly used this special car has only 31,099 miles logged on the odometer. This original numbers 1981 DeLorean for sale has the original 2.849 Liter V6 engine connected to the 3-spd automatic transmission, and it runs like the wind. When you lift the iconic gull wing door you will notice that this car has all the right options like A/C and a cassette player for your dusty Def Leopard or Billy Joel tape as well as leather interior and power windows. So if you have always wanted one of these stainless steel beauties do not sleep on this one, if possible it will be hard to find a better one, just keep it below 88MPH! Options for this 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 include: A/C, AM/FM cassette player, Telescopic steering wheel, Power windows and Leather interior. For more information call our Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.comSale held pursuant to permit No. 19289 of department of licenses granted the 14th day of August 2015.

Description:

Now available in our Philadelphia location is a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. The 1968 Camaro is a cool car to begin with. Drop a modern LSA in a 1968 Camaro and you have a High-Performance Beast with modern day drivability and dependability. The 6.2-liter V8 Supercharged LSA is an engine produced by General Motors for use in high-performance vehicles. The LSA is part of GM’s 4th-generation V8 Small Block engine family and is notorious for its high-power output. It is made at GM’s Silao facilities in Mexico. The engine is used in the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. More than sheer performance, the LSA balances great power with exceptional refinement. An advanced, sixth-generation Eaton supercharger with high-twist four-lobe rotors is a large contributor to the engine’s high performance. It enables a broad power band with almost imperceptible operation. Naturally an engine like this requires an updated transmission as well. A six-speed 6L90E has been chosen to distribute the horsepower to the narrowed 12-inch rear with 3:73 gears. The exterior is finished in Gray with white stripes and was done using PPG products. The interior is all Classic Camaro and in great shape, with a no frills race ready look. There are no comfort options. There is no heat or AC and no entertainment as well. This Camaro is all about going fast in a straight line and looking good doing it. To view this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ.
