Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1969 Chevrolet El Camino. Is a lipstick red 1969 Chevrolet El Camino 396 CID V8 Muncie 4 speed manual on your Christmas list? If so, your shopping just got a lot easier! Complete with a 12 bolt rear, tonneau cover and all the SS badges where they should be. Goodyear Eagle ST’s at every corner keeping you on all fours. This 1969 Chevrolet El Camino is just how it would have been done the first time around. Saying old school is too easy but certainly applies here as original features are still intact. It’s not often you see an original bench seat and Delco AM/FM radio. Usually you’ll find updates or personal changes that may or may not be appealing to others. Not here. Under the hood the entrée is simple; a 396 big block! Power steering and power brakes add as the sides and that’s it. Simple and pure, a well balance diet without the frivolous additions. That is the theme for this unique El Camino – purity, the way the El Camino was designed, to be a car with truck like cargo ability where you gave up 4x4 for high performance. The 396 big block roars with life and growls the way it should running through the Muncie four speed which handles the power with ease. Suspension feels good with control handled well from behind the Grant GT steering wheel. Column mounted tach and oil, water, volt gauges mounted right where you’d want them aid in monitoring vitals. Turning heads is bound to happen as this beast roars down through town but that’s not why you bought it. You bought for you. It fits, simple, pure beast with utilitarian abilities and enough horsepower to flex your muscle when you want but refined enough to keep it under control. Plenty of room to add your own touch or keep it just as it is, pure 1969 Chevrolet El Camino. Description:

For sale now in our Houston showroom is this very rare 1989 Chevrolet Corvette Callaway Twin Turbo. In 1987, the factory B2K option appeared at Chevy dealers. The options price was almost equal to the base price of the Corvette. The Callaway Corvette was a Regular Production Option (RPO) B2K, the only time in Chevrolets history a specialist manufacturer was entrusted with a technically advanced high performance RPO. The B2K option was critical in bringing a select few Corvettes to a higher performance level. Although often compared with Chevrolets ZR-1 option, they were simply two different approaches to solving the issue of bringing a higher performance Corvette to market. The early B2Ks produced 382 hp and 586 lb·ft of torque. The later B2Ks produced 450 hp and 613 lb·ft of torque. Amazingly, there is also derivative of the Twin Turbo Corvette, the 880 hp Callaway SledgeHammer. With a recorded a speed of 254.76 mph on Ohios Transportation Research Center track making it the fastest road-going car at the time. This car, with build plaque number 030 has 43390 original & actual miles on it. It has been garage kept most of its life and all components on the car are in excellent condition. The 5.7 350 CID V8 under the hood is very clean, healthy, & runs extremely smooth. The turbocharged V8 is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission that goes into each gear with ease. This is a very low mileage car that shows very well for being almost 30 years old. There were only about 450 cars of these cars that were produced, and even less that are still on the road and even less that have this low mileage. This one is shown in its original white paint job that is in very nice condition. The fiberglass body is in superb shape and is free from any major scratches or dings. The exterior trim, light lenses, & glass on the car are all in great shape. The car sits on its factory wheels that are in good shape (a couple have a little, but repairable curb rash) & they are wrapped in Firehawk tires that have plenty of tread left on them. The reveal the 4-wheel disc brakes to bring all 382HP to a stop. Stepping into the driver’s seat you will find the eye-catching fire red leather interior that looks awesome contrasting to the white exterior. The leather seats are in good condition with minor aging to them. The carpet, door panels, headliner, & dash are in fantastic condition. Sitting behind the wheel in this car feels like sitting in a jet fighter cockpit with all of gauges & switches. The car has cold blowing AC and the interior electronics are in good working order as they should be. You could own a piece of history or make an investment on what should be an appreciating asset in the years to come! Options on this car include; AC (blows cold), traction control, lumbar seat support, power brakes, power seats, active suspension control, cruise control, power steering, leather interior, power windows, power locks, tilt wheel, & more! To see more of this car please visit, http://gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/1989/chevrolet/corvette-S856.html. Description:

For sale in our Houston showroom is a first model year, 2003 Chevrolet SSR. Chevrolet went with a retro design for the Super Sport Roadster. They styled the vehicle like a truck from the 1950s with an unmistakable rounded hood and bulging fenders. Its body-on-frame architecture comes courtesy of the GMT370 (TrailBlazer/Envoy XL) hydroformed-steel platform, which is shortened 13 inches yet retains its stock width and track. Related hardware includes a live axle out back, independent suspension up front, and four-wheel disc brakes. The steel body panels are all new and pay obvious homage to the highly sought late-’40s/ early-’50s Chevy pickup. Although, something a truck from the 1950s didnt offer is the beautifully engineered power folding metal top. With the touch of a button you can go from hard top to no top in just a few seconds. Another option that wasnt available in the 1950s is the LM4 Vortec V8 under the hood. The stock LM4 pushes out 300 horses and is an all-aluminum 5.3-liter Vortec. The exterior of this one is coated in a bright red while the interior offers black leather. With just 29,000 miles, this SSR still smells new. This SSR is a combination of sorts; a modern classic sports car and stylish truck with a drop top. As unique as this car is, we feel as if it makes for a great investment. If you crave power, smoothness, and dandy exhaust-pipe music, it’s hard to beat a GM Gen-III V-8. Chevy claims 0-60 times in the mid-seven-second range, confirmed by an informal stopwatch; top speed is electronically limited to 125 mph (also confirmed). Options include: AC, power top, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, remote entry, AM/FM/CD, cruise control, anti-lock brakes, and passenger/driver airbag. To view the vehicle in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Houston showroom. Call 832-243-6220 for more information.

Description:

We have a great looking and driving 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 for sale here in our Milwaukee showroom. A successor to the ZR-1 made its debut in 2001 as the Z06, giving a nod to the high-performance Z06 version of the C2 Corvette of the 1960s. Instead of a heavy, double-overhead cam engine like in the ZR-1, the Z06 used a tuned version of the standard LS1 engine (designated the LS6), with a higher power output which initially produced 385 hp (287 kW). Although its total output was less than that of the previous late model ZR-1s, the Z06 was much lighter, and could out-perform the ZR-1 in every category except top speed. It also cost substantially less than the ZR-1. The Z06 had a total curb weight of 3,118 lb (1,414 kg). Chevrolet engineered several modifications for the Z06 to put the increased power to its best use, starting with the most structurally rigid body style?—?the hardtop or FRC (Fixed Roof Coupé). The new components added to the Z06 included: uprated FE4 suspension, larger wheels and tires, revised gearing ratios, and functional brake cooling ducts. The Z06 is 38 lb (17 kg) lighter than a standard C5 hardtop thanks to weight-saving measures such as a titanium exhaust, thinner glass, lighter wheels, non-EMT tires, reduced sound proofing, fixed rear radio aerial, and a lighter battery. Starting with the 2002 model year, power was increased to 405 hp (302 kW) due to a larger CFM air intake, stiffer valve springs, lighter sodium filled valves and more aggressive camshaft lift and timing. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Platinum Beige over Vitamin C 1968 Chevrolet C10 Stepside. The two-tone Dupont paint was applied about 4 years ago. A button down soft tonneau bed cover provides protection and a nice accent to the color combination. The stepside bed is from a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado, which is a very common add to earlier C10 trucks. The grey interior features vinyl upholstery with cloth inserts and orange piping. New tires, brake lines, tinted windows, chrome inner fenders, and speakers mounted in the kick panels are a few items that have been replaced or added during the build. Powering this 68’ Stepside pickup is a 350 CID V8 with a mild cam, aluminum intake and valve covers, and an Edelbrock carburetor. The exhaust manifolds have been powder coated for a clean look to match the rest of the engine bay. An aluminum radiator has been added to provide the optimal running temperature. A 3-speed automatic transmission transfers the power to the 12-bolt rear end. The odometer reads 26,286, the actual mileage is unknown, but there are approximately 2,000 miles on the truck since the build was completed. This is a well restored tribute to the Longhorn. This truck is a beauty! The longhorn bed was 6 in. longer for the option of installing specially made campers(Camper not included). Not too many of these left to enjoy. Along with a new modern look came the nickname ‘Action Line’ This model was at the time a fresh revision to the CK trucks. This would be considered a serious upgrade in comfort and convenience from the other models being offered at the time. This was also the first generation that had the latest trailing arm rear suspension which drastically increased the performance. 1971 was the first year with the egg crate grill. 350 Crate engine that was installed only 10,000 miles ago. At the time, the transmission was completely rebuilt. While this was all being done the new wood boards were installed into the bed of the truck. This truck has upgraded rims, radial tires, Tilt wheel, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Seats and Seatbelts. See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/MWK/257/1971-Chevrolet-C20-4x4

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this one-of-a-kind Jeff Hayes built 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. Here are just a few of the custom-builds goodies: Custom Jeff Hayes build completed in 2017 by American Speed Shop in Bloomington Indiana New GMPP 376/525 Crate LS3 V-8 engine Electronic fuel injection Stainless shorty headers Side exit exhaust 5-speed automatic transmission Polished serpentine system including air conditioning, power steering and alternator Professionally fabricated chassis with C5 front and C6 rear suspension C6 Z06 Dana 44 3rd member Z06 power disc brakes with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers Drilled and slotted rotors Vintage Air Power windows and hood lift Retro-look AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth New Auto Meter gauges Silver Pearl paint with Graphite Metallic stinger Custom Red distressed leather interior with Red carpet Billet grille Carbon fiber graphics 18 and 19 inch Spider alloy wheels Toyo Performance red-line tires American Speed Shop of Bloomington, Indiana, has executed a number of top-quality Corvette restorations and custom builds, and this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Resto Mod is no exception to that tradition. The ultimate development of Bill Mitchell and Zora Arkus-Duntov’s Sting Ray concept, the 1967 Corvette is a great choice for upgrading to modern powertrain, mechanicals and passenger accommodations. The final year of mid-year body styling was the least cluttered and arguably most attractive of all, one that seems to encourage builders to preserve its beauty and keep most, if not all, modifications under wraps. In this case the Sting Ray’s stock features are preserved, even to the point of using 1967 Silver Pearl paint and decorating the big-block hood with a contrasting black-Stinger accent. All the correct chrome and stainless trim has been preserved, including the classic Bowtie chromed driver’s mirror and factory-style side exhaust outlets. There is modern Corvette power under the power-actuated hood in the form of an all-aluminum GM Performance Parts LS3 V-8 engine. Rated at 430 HP in the 2008 to 2013 Corvette, this electronically fuel-injected powerplant has been tuned to crank a mighty 525 HP through a 5-speed automatic transmission to the C6 differential. A completely powder-coated, professionally fabricated custom steel-tube chassis enables the use of proven C6 front and C5 rear independent suspension with aluminum double wishbones (also powder-coated). This allows a wide choice of rolling stock; here it comprises chromed 18-inch front and 19-inch rear Aluminum wheels, shod with Toyo red-stripe tires, 275/35-19 rear and 235/40-18 front. Visible through the wheels are the red powder-coated 6-piston C6 Z06 calipers up front, and 4-piston rear Z06 binders out back, which clamp down on drilled and slotted rotors, guaranteeing rapid deceleration from hyperspeed. Inside, youll see its spectacular distressed red leather interior, which features power windows, Vintage Air, custom red carpeting, Auto Meter gauges, bolstered seats, polished billet controls and a retro-look AM/FM radio with Bluetooth. Don’t let this Jeff Hayes-built 67 Vette be the one that got away! Options include: Retro-style AM/FM Stereo Radio with Bluetooth, Chromed Aluminum Wheels, Custom Red Distressed Leather, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel. For more information on this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette, please call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220; or email us at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

The C/K was Chevrolets’ full-size pickup truck line from 1960-2000. “C” indicated two-wheel drive while the “K” indicated four-wheel drive. The second generation dubbed the “Action Line” by GM was launched in 1967 and featured the addition of comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that been seen previously as for work purposes alone. The standard drive train was a three-speed manual transmission mated to a 250 CID straight six. This stunning 1970 Blue/Black C10 ½-Ton truck has undergone a complete frame-off restoration including a rebuild of the inline six power plant and “3-on-the-tree” transmission. The 2012 build shows well inside and out. The paint is in outstanding condition and all lines are straight as an arrow. Most of the chrome and trim bits are new as are the bed components. The bed features beautiful solid oak finished in marine spar varnish. New raised white letter tires are mounted on new rally wheels with new caps and trim rings. The interior is top quality and the comfortable bench seat features embossed vinyl. This beautiful C-10 step-side pickup is located at our Milwaukee showroom. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom, Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is pleased to present this custom-built 1969 Chevrolet Nova race car. Bathed in the well-known performance shade of Hugger Orange, this Nova is turn-key ready for the track. This car was built by Pyle Brothers in Baytown, TX, and the professional build quality is evident. From the full tubular chassis and integrated roll cage, one can easily spot a purpose-built drag car. Sporting a huge snorkel hood scoop, Strange Engineering high-torque axles, and Strange Engineering braking (multipiece slotted and drilled rotors front and rear, Strange multi-piston calipers front and rear), multi-piece Weld Drag wheels at all four corners, M/T skinnies up front, M/T 33x15.0x15 slicks out back, and wheelie bars, this car says race-only baby!, even from a distance. Under the hood is a massive 490 CID big block Chevy V8 (built by Houston Engine and Balancing), sporting Dart heads and valve covers, an Edelbrock high-rise aluminum manifold, Holley race carb, and a gigantic deep sump oil pan. Uncapped race headers help route the spent combustion mix, which they do very effectively, and with tremendous sound and fury. Twin electric fans keep the radiator temp in check, and the electric water pump keeps the coolant flowing with no loss of power or cooling efficiency. A competition-prepped GM Powerglide 2-speed automatic handles the single gear change from tree to the finish line, and itll take everything that 490 CID V8 can dish out, plus more. A full competition-approved fuel cell and the trunk-mounted Optima battery are easy to get to by removing the Dzus-fastened trunk, and more Dzus fasteners allow easy access to key driveline components normally covered by the floor pan. Out back, a Ford 9-inch rear end serves as part of a fully adjustable multi-link rear suspension with Drag Coil-over shocks and wheelie bar serve to keep the rear end planted and the front end out of the sky at launch. Inside, the driver has all controls within easy reach, and fingertip controls make it easy, with the Painless wiring setup and control panel being reachable even when the driver is fully belted into the Kirkey racing bucket with the massive Simpson race harness. This back-halved car is ready to hit the strip with no excuses, and is ready for the pit crew between passes, with its abundant Dzus fasteners providing easy on/off of hood and trunk. The chassis and cage are 2016 NHRA certified, with certification number A710909, for 8.50 and slower ET vehicles. A full set of gauges help the driver keep track of critical functions, and a removable steering wheel helps for easier ingress/egress before and after your hot passes. For night racing at the track, youll like the fact that the headlights, taillights, and brake lights all work. If you are looking for a turn-key 9 second drag car, this is the one you want. This is a race only vehicle and does not come with a title. If you like low E.T.s this is a great starting point.
