Description:

In the 70s the Lincoln Mark series was the pinnacle of luxury. This was Ford Motor Companys way to compete with Cadillac and a very successful way at that. The Mark V screams 70s luxury, from its long straight body, to the hideaway head lamps, to the pillow top seating, or even the opera windows. The size, weight, and presence of the vehicle lets you know that someone important is behind the wheel. Although the car is something to admire, behind the wheel is the best place to be. The bench seat is as comfortable as your easy chair at home, the steering is light enough you could steer with one finger, and the ride is so soft it feels like youre floating down the road. This is a car made to cover long spans of roadway. Powering the car along is a 400 CID V8 backed by a silky smooth 3 speed automatic transmission. The original owner ordered this one with plenty of goodies including A/C, AM/FM, cruise control, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, power seats, tilt/telescopic wheel, seat belts, cloth interior, and white wall radial tires. These late 70s cruisers have a great following and may be the next high dollar classic. This one is ready for the collector, or simply to be driven and appreciated. You can view this 1978 Lincoln Mark V in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1964 Mercury Comet. This beast is powered by a Ford 302 V8 Engine that includes a holly carb, MSD ignition and ford racing valve covers. Its even has hood pins to keep the beast behind closed doors. Dont be fooled by the 4-speed shift knob as this Comet has a 5-speed transmission that turns 3.08 posi traction gears. This Mercury is set up to handle great with a new front coil spring suspension. The white exterior is complemented greatly by the chrome Riddler wheels that really gleam in the sunlight. The interior is stitched up in an awesome black and burgundy combination that makes the inside as much of a head turner as the outside of the vehicle. Dont worry about keeping cool as this Comet has a new vintage air system. The odometer is only showing 67,478 miles. This body style comet has a lot of history behind it starting in 1964 the Comet was redesigned with a much more square shape, though it was still built on the same unibody as the 1963 model. Its basic lines were shared with the new Falcon, but the front grille used styling similar to that of the Lincoln Continental. Along with the redesign, the model designations were changed. The performance version was known as the Cyclone, replacing the previous S-22. Then in descending order of trim levels were the Caliente, 404 and 202, replacing the previous Custom and base models. The 2-door station wagon body style was discontinued. The top-of-the-line station wagon continued to be known as the Villager. The base 144 cid six engine was dropped and the 170 cid six became the new base engine. The 260 V8 was available at the beginning of the production run, with the new 289 being available mid-year. Due to the success of the full size Ford and Mercury fastback roofline introduced in mid-1963, the Falcon and Comet 2-door hardtops got a similar roofline with sharper corners. These vehicles really helped pave the way for the muscle car era that was about to begin in the United States of America. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1964 Mercury Comet, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

The year was 1997 and demand for the 305-horsepower SVT Cobra remained high! Especially for convertibles, so the SVT team shifted more of its build mix towards the Cobra droptop with production now topping 3,000 units. With only 29,285 miles on this pony car it makes it a low mileage one owner car! The power plant of this Mustang is the 32-Valve 4.6 Liter V8 producing 300 lbs.-ft. @ 4800 rpm. When you mate it up to the 5-speed manual transmission it makes for a great driving experience that will satisfy your need for speed while still keeping the rpm’s low for cruising. Speaking of a need for speed this car will handle any curves thrown at it thanks to the modified MacPherson strut with separate spring on lower arm for the front. A rigid axle, upper and lower trailing arms, two hydraulic links, variable-rate coil springs, and 27mm stabilizer bar round out the rear suspension to complete the package. Helping this Mustang come to a stop are the 13 in. vented disc, PBR twin-piston calipers in the front of the car along with the 11.65 in. vented disc, single-piston caliper in the rear. The factory 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels look great on this car and are in the excellent shape. They are wrapped in Cooper P245/45ZR-17 radial tires. Only 925 of these cars were produced in the Rio Red color this year so don’t miss out on your chance to own this one! Description:

Our Philadelphia Showroom is excited to present this 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 to our showroom for sale! This is a well optioned well cared for Z/28 with only 46,836 original miles on the odometer. The car was optioned beautifully from the factory with white exterior and contrasting orange racing stripes. The interior sports matching white leather interior including bucket seats in the front and rear. Clearly a sports car enthusiast bought this one new, as they chose the 6 speed manual transmission which makes the driving experience much more enjoyable. Stock, the car came with a 5.7 Liter LT1 which is a great engine, but about 1500 miles ago, the owner decided this Camaro needed a few more ponies. They had the LT1 performance built at a speed shop. The engine was bored .030 over and given an LT4 hot cam. It got all new lifters, springs, timing chain, rocker arms, rings, bearings, and gaskets. The end result is roughly 425 naturally aspirated horsepower. With fairly modest exhaust, this makes a great sleeper for those that might mistake it for a stock Camaro. The power delivery is smooth and predictable which makes for a fun car to drive. As if horsepower and a killer paint scheme wasnt enough, this is a T-top car which allows for open air driving without the rag top. This is a kick ass ride which has service records and invoices available for the performance work. To view this 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited in presenting this gray 1991 Chevrolet Corvette for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. The Corvette has always had a longstanding tradition of being a performance car being ahead of its time since its introduction as a roadster in 1953. This car coming out of the year 1991 shows as a shining example of both a performance sports car and a vehicle that seemed space age for its era. Powered by an L98 350 cubic inch V8 and backed by an easy to use automatic transmission, this car is fun for just about every driver who can sit behind the wheel. This already healthy 8 cylinder is enhanced by a Procharger (external supercharger) to give this dark performance machine even more horsepower on tap. This engine exhales through a set of aftermarket headers that go back to a set of chambered mufflers to produce a brooding, throaty, and deep exhaust note. The metallic gray paint is matched well by a dark gray color leather interior which is outfitted with features that may surprise some judging by the cars age. Features include air conditioning, digital and analog instrument cluster, power seats with lumbar support, power windows, ride control, and cruise control making for an enjoyable but fun ride. The Corvette also comes as a targa top optioned vehicle for when you just want to remove the roof and enjoy a nice day exposing yourself to the elements. Finally this cars look is completed by adding a set of wheels off of a C5 Corvette, giving this car a nice updated look. This Chevrolet Corvette will not disappoint in the performance or the comfort category so the time to grab this beauty is now! This 1991 Chevrolet Corvette is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Any and all questions can be answered by our knowledgeable staff by calling (262) 891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@GatewayClassicCars.com.

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is Whisper White 2003 Ford Thunderbird. In 1955, the Thunderbird was revealed as a personal luxury car and changed over time until production ceased at the end of 1997. In 2002, Ford brought the Thunderbird back as a two-seat model that was available until the end of 2005, during its success Ford produced over 4.4 million Thunderbirds. The eleventh generation had the same two-seat coupe/convertible layout as the first generation as well as some of the same characteristics as was on the 55’-57’ T-Birds. Because the Thunderbird shared the same DEW98 platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type, they shared interior styling particularly in the dash area, instrument panel, steering wheel and a Jaguar designed AJ-30 3.9L DOHC V8. This particular model is hiding a 3.9L V8 FI DOHC 32V engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission under the hood. There were a total of Thunderbirds built in 14,678, 2,460 of which were finished in the beautiful Whisper White exterior paint. The black leather interior provides an excellent contrast to the bright white exterior. This T-Bird comes with both the hard top, which is painted Whisper White to match the exterior, and a power soft top as well. You have the potential for 3 different looks, hard top coupe, soft top cabriolet, and 2 seat roadster, what more could you want? The odometer reads 79,138, which represents the acutal mileage on the car. Options for this 2003 Ford Thunderbird include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, Anti-Lock Brakes, Anti-Theft System, Power Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Driver/Passenger Airbag, Leather Interior, Heated Seats, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Rear Window Defogger, Seatbelts, Tilt Wheel, and Traction Control. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this heavy hitter, a 1970 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda tribute located at our showroom in West Deptford, NJ! Shedding its Valiant roots, the Plymouth Barracuda entered the scene with a brand-new look in 1970. Featuring a radical restyling on the new E-Body platform, this car was ready to do battle against GM and Ford pony car contenders in performance and style. The challenging task of fitting Chrysler’s 426 Hemi engine into the previous A-Body Barracudas was one of the main reasons a redesign of the car was necessary. The Hemi fit like a glove in the new E-Body thanks to the larger cowl structure and all was set to rock the muscle car world. This incredible Hemi ‘Cuda tribute continues the legend from the powerplant to the paint! Nothing was left untouched during the extensive restoration by Clark Classic Restorations in Greenville, NC. While it started life as a 318 Barracuda, this car underwent an unparalleled transformation into the performance machine you see now. Utilizing original sheet metal, the body was mounted on a rotisserie where the real work began. A gorgeous coat of Lemon Twist Yellow paint was applied along with the sporty hockey-stripe bodyside stripes that accentuate the performance aspect of the Plymouth ‘Cuda. The heart and soul of the car, the fully-built 426 CID V8 Hemi crate engine rumbles with authority through Mandrel® bent exhaust and ceramic long tube headers. Linked to the powerplant is a Mancini Racing® 727 automatic transmission that shifts beautifully thanks to an iconic pistol grip slap-stik shifter. Press on the gas to feel that familiar launch found only with a Big Block Mopar! That’s a Mancini Racing® Dana 60 9 ¾ rear with 3.54 gears! Additional performance features include Heavy Duty Dutchman® 35 spline Axle, light weight driveshaft and 1350 Spicer® U joints, Heidts® Front End, Hemi K Member, Correct Hemi Leaf Springs, Powermaster® Starter and Alternator, Adjustable Koni® shocks, Track Style Front and Rear Brake Linings, Power Front Disc Brakes with slotted drilled rotors and so much more! Stroll to the inside of this gorgeous ride to reveal a crisp white leather interior that looks just as it did when it left the factory thanks to Legendary Auto Interiors®. Take a seat in the comfortable buckets and blast that AM/FM Radio with 8 Track and MP3 input rebuilt by Ward’s Classic Radio Repair®! Cruise with the matching white automatic convertible top down on those sunny days and relax knowing you are driving the coolest car of them all! Wrap your hands around the custom wood steering wheel and take note of the clean gauges including a fully-functioning clock. From the unique slotted courtesy lights to the seat belts redone by Ssnake-Oyl® of Texas, the interior on this ‘Cuda is off the hook! Simply stated, this ‘Cuda is awesomeness in physical form. Just look at that Shaker Hood, a standard option with those who checked off the Hemi box when they sat with their Chrysler-Plymouth Dealer. This hood did more than just shake when the Hemi unleashed its fury, it allowed cooler, denser air to enter those twin carbs! The pièce de résistance is the set of 15x8 rallye wheels that convey the message that this car means business. The 1970 Hemi ‘Cuda produced some of the most frightening quarter-mile times ever back in the day and it remains one of the most revered muscle cars ever made. Here’s your chance to own one! This build was highly documented and was done right as anyone can see. With only 284 miles on the build, this car is ready to run! Give us a call today to make this beauty yours! To view this 1970 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda Tribute in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this unbelievably custom 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. The 55 Chevy Bel-Air is arguably one of the best-looking cars ever built. There clean lines and finless design make them great candidates for full on custom builds. Art Morrison started out building frames for tubbed out drag cars in the 70’s and 80’s but the company really took off when he began building his line of pro-touring chassis’. This 55 is sitting on one of his custom-built frames which not only looks good but increases the handling of the car dramatically. Finished off in the same Erica red paint as the body making the transition from floor pan to frame almost seamless. With touches of chrome here and there to break it up you can tell this was a well thought out build. The stance of the car was also dramatically changed due to the chassis as well with it sitting much lower than a stock 55. The wheels will be the next thing you notice with the set consisting of 18’s in the front and 20’s in the back giving the car that aggressive look. Behind those wheels are a set of chrome plated calipers that blend nicely while the cross-drilled and slotted rotors show people you mean business. Under that silky-smooth hood is was most consider the Mecca of LS powerplants. This LS7 has been built with a mild cam giving it a nice lope at idle but the real work is in the details. The intake has been painted to match with the custom firewall being cleaned up which flows into the custom inner fender wells. A custom piece of metal was formed to cover up the radiator as well making this engine bay look seamless like the rest of the car. Putting power to the road is a built 4l60 transmission giving you the capability to drive this beauty down the freeway comfortably at highway speeds. Inside the custom touches are extensive with the dash being made from one piece of metal as well. The gauges and AC vents are molded into that custom dash as well keeping with that flowing design. The leather wrapped seats are extremely comfortable while the Lokar shifter sits perfectly in the custom-made console. With this car being a fresh build and never shown to the public this beauty is guaranteed to collect a whole room of trophies or do what this car was intended to do Drive It! Options on this 1955 Custom Chevrolet Bel Air include, AC, AM/FM, Power Windows, Power Steering, Leather Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires.
