Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston is very excited to offer this gorgeous collectors dream 1970 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 W-30 for sale. In addition to being to a rare 4-4-2 color, this Burgundy Mist W-Machine is very well optioned, making it an even more unique W-Machine (see list below or contact us for a copy). Its current owner has been collecting and restoring Oldsmobiles for over 30 years, and in his words, ...Ive only seen 3 others in color code 78. While that shouldnt be taken to imply that only a handful of 4-4-2s were built in this color, youll probably find it nearly impossible to find another one like it. This 4-4-2 was treated to an extremely thorough restoration: while nearly all original, it has some non-OE parts that are better than the originals. For one thing, to keep the giant 455 cool, a monster custom-fabbed (and painstakingly custom fit) aluminum radiator was added, and the engine and transmission were substantially upgraded internally to support the extra power that the numbers-matching drivetrain was targeted to deliver. According to the dyno report, this 455 is putting out 514 peak HP and 578 lb-ft peak torque, which is a noticeable improvement over the factory rating of 370HP/500lb-ft torque. The engine is a full roller engine - built, balanced, blueprinted, and dynoed by renowned Oldsmobile engine wizard Dick Miller. According to the owner, stabbing the go pedal to the floor at a 65-mph cruise could easily get you sideways in this beast as it drops to 2nd gear and smokes the tires (even at that speed). While we wont attempt to validate that assertion, this Dr. Oldsmobile-approved enhanced big block already acts like its on steroids, so we have no reason to doubt that it can do that. The first restoration on this car was done in 1991, and at that time, when it went to the spray booth, it was painted black. The current owner tracked it down in Seattle, where it was first sold (and remained), over a dozen years ago. Shortly thereafter, he decided to bring it back to its original glory, minus the black vinyl top, as one can see. The car was sent to Impatient Creations in Alabama for its rebirth. It left there with a folder full of receipts and work descriptions, plus a USB drive with hundreds of photos, where one can see step by step of the process described in painstaking detail in the receipts. The body was taken down to bare metal, and any rust that was found was removed and replaced with metal. There is, according to the owner, zero bondo on this car. Based on the restoration photos, well agree...a painstaking and thorough effort went into making this car better than it left the line in Lansing, Michigan in December 1969. Now sporting its original hue, but with a better finish that the factory produced, this is one crazy good-looking A-body. Under the hood, this 4-4-2 W30 is packing its original 455 CID V8, with its F-code high compression heads and aluminum intake, but with the benefit of an improved roller valvetrain, the giant radiator, a date-code correct 4BBL carb, and a hidden MSD ignition enhancement. Youll also see the telltale red inner fenders and the Force Air induction. Behind the 455 is the beefed up TH400 automatic, which spins the 3.42 gears (and limited slip differential) out back. The transmission is controlled by the Hurst Dual-Gate shifter, which works like a charm. The black interior is by Legendary, and it is in superb condition, still looking like new. The gauges were redone, and the clock replaced with an OE-look quartz unit. Outside, not only is the paint miles deep, the original stainless steel trim has been professionally polished, and it gleams like new. During the restoration, every part was either removed and restored, or it was replaced with NOS (new old stock) or an improved part. The original R12 HVAC system has been converted to R134, and it blows cold, thanks to the new A6 compressor. The exhaust system is a high-quality reproduction, but with the addition of electric cutouts, for when you want to let everyone within earshot know that this machine is NOT one to be trifled with. According to its owner, this 4-4-2 has won numerous awards, including a Best of Class at Oldsmobile Zone show, and other top awards at many regional shows across Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama. It comes with a giant framed display, which includes the 1970 owners manual, factory paint chip sample card, W-Machine sales literature, and what appears to be the original sales invoice (in quite good condition). Per the original invoice, this car came with the following options list: W30 (W-Machine) package M40 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission (heavy duty TH400) G92 Perf Axle 3.42 ratio - G80, V02 required G80 Anti-Spin rear axle (note: think PosiTrac) V02 Heavy-Duty Radiator A02 Soft-Ray Tinted Windshield N47 Vari-Ratio Power Steering JL2 Power with Front Disc Brakes PK5 Wide Oval Tires - Raised Letters *P05 Super Stock 14 Wheels N34 Custom Sport Steering Wheel U58 AM-FM Stereophonic Radio D35 Sports Styled Outside Rearview Mirrors C50 Rear Window Defogger W35 Rear Deck Lid Air Spoiler B32 Auxiliary Front Floor Mats B33 Auxiliary Rear Floor Mats N33 Tilt Away Steering Wheel B85 Chrome Side Window Mouldings W26 Sports Console-Hurst Dual-Gate Shifter U21 Rocket Rally Pac A39 Deluxe Front and Rear Lap Belts *C08 Vinyl Roof Covering Y60 Visor Vanity Mirror, Underhood Lamp, Luggage Compartment Lamp, Glove Box Lamp, Ash Tray Lamp, Mirror & Front Compartment Lamp, Courtesy Lamps & Map Lamp, Instrument Panel Control Lighting *NOTE: options no longer present or replaced It shouldnt take a rocket scientist or doctor (think Dr. Oldsmobile) to spot this as the real deal, and one worth adding to your muscle collection; so, 4-4-2 fans rejoice, because this long-hidden gem is out in the wild and is ready for its new home! Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this classic 1939 Ford Deluxe convertible at our Milwaukee location. Ford looked to modernize the 1939 Ford Deluxe using a lower pointed grille and higher vertical grille with horizontal dividers. The headlights were also moved farther apart giving the front end of a wider look. Big for 1939 was the new hood design, The Alligator hood opened from the top only eliminating the hard to use side panels completely. The matching beige cloth convertible top is the icing one of the most elegant cars you have ever seen. Under the hood is a 302 V-8 is attached to an updated three-speed transmission with overdrive. All these items appear to be in great or like new condition. Black is a double-edged sword. It is one of the hardest colors to keep clean and show worthy, but few colors do a cars natural beauty more justice than black! Seeing the silver shine out of the coves along with the shiny chrome brightwork the car begins speaking to you. Peak inside and the condition speaks for itself! Its no surprise Corvettes have captivated the public eye for nearly 70 years! The styling is timeless and tasteful. Before the seller acquired the vehicle it reportedly underwent a $100,000 plus restoration. The seller stated to us that it was a nut and bolt restoration however that paperwork doesnt seem to have been passed along. Worth mentioning the horn and wipers are currently inoperable. Our seller also believes that the engine is the original numbers matching dual quad 283 V8 and 4 speed transmission, however we have not verified this claim. Behind the custom aluminum wheel are front disc brakes, and on the interior the seller states it has the originally optioned FM radio. This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette is offered by the St. Louis sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website. Our listing all include 100+ HD photos and a detailed video! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this pro-built 1973 Plymouth Barracuda “1971 Hemi Cuda Clone for sale on consignment at our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. This is not a semi-restored vehicle but a completely re-engineered and upgraded machine that packs 21st century technology with the best of classic muscle car styling. Born as a 318 CID/4-speed car in 1973, this ‘Cuda probably cant believe where its life has taken it today either! Rocking an expensive “Tangelo Orange Pearl exterior paintjob with “Hemi scripture and a cool black rear spoiler, you know that this Restomod means business. Theres great panel gaps all around on this build and the custom wheels with Wilwood calipers visible give the ‘Cuda some extra clout. Under the hood, theres a thumping 6.1l fuel injected V8 engine that was used in SRT8 Dodge products. But thats not all; topping the motor is a Techno supercharger that pushes the total power output on this wild ride to 600hp and 621lb ft of torque according to the seller. Youll definitely hear this one coming thanks to ceramic coated headers feeding a 3 stainless steel exhaust system ventilating through the rear valence. A Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission with a tall overdrive gear does the job whether youre cruising or stamping on the gas. A modern steering system and upgrades to the suspension such as coil over shocks and tubular A-arms help this 71 Hemi Cuda Clone handle unexpectedly well. Just like the rest of this car, the interior takes the best of old and new Chrysler products and blends it together with modern Black bucket seats up front, the Mopar favorite “Pistol Grip shifter, high tech infotainment system with rear view camera and conveniences such as Vintage AC and power windows/locks. If youve kept reading until now, its time to share a secret with you: the builder of this HEMI ‘Cuda took extra special care to not alter any panels or mounting holes on the body meaning that a future owner could take this baby back to stock if he wanted to. How cool is that?! This ALL STEEL Ford 3-window coupe is one of the nicest builds you will ever find! Restored back around 2009 out of Maryland, there was no expense sparred when building this beautifully done hot rod. The roof was chopped down to give it those sleek lines and all metal was finished the correct way without using Bondo. Many man hours of sanding and prep work went into the car before laying down the best-in-show winning purple plum paint with traditional style flames that work well on this car. The artistry did not stop on the exterior though, open the suicide door and slide into luxury. The custom tan leather interior is soft and comfortable was used on nearly every square inch of the interior. The AC keeps you cool on those warm summer days and the ride feels much more solid than most replicas. Powering this steel bodied Ford is a powerful 540 cubic inch Merlin engine that is hooked up to a 3-speed automatic transmission and transferring it all out to a Winters quick change rear end. With just over 2,000 miles on the build of this car it is still fresh and ready to be shown off and driven! Once behind the wheel, you will be amazed at how smooth the ride is and how much power this little coupe has. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 2012 COPO Camaro for sale by our Indianapolis Showroom. This vehicle has never been raced and has had less than a mile of driving, so it is ready for the next owner to preserve this piece of history or go to the track and experience what all of the hype surrounding COPOs is about. The COPO Camaro began in 1969 when a group of car enthusiasts working at Chevrolet discovered that they could use the Central Office Production Order (COPO for short) to order Camaros with specific options that would bump horsepower. With this hacking of the ordering system, these enthusiasts were able to craft and drag ready Camaro from the factory. In 2012 the COPO Camaro was reintroduced for the fifth generation of Camaros and only 69 were produced. This particular COPO is equipped with the 327 Cubic Inch V8 with the 4.0L Whipple Supercharger. In order to assure the fastest passes possible, a Powerglide transmission was installed by the factory to help propel this rocket down the track. Other parts that distinguish this vehicle from a typical Camaro are the chromoly roll cage, racing fuel cell, racing harnesses, a kill switch, racing wheels, drag radials, racing seats, and Posi Traction. This 2012 COPO Camaro is featured in our Indianapolis showroom and can be seen in detail including 100+ HD photos and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our staff at (317) 688-1100 or email us at Indianapolis@GatewayClassicCars.com. The COPO nameplate is a nod to the Central Office Production Order system, which cunning Chevrolet dealers used to build one-of-a-kind high-performance models. In 2011, a new COPO concept was shown at the SEMA Show. The overwhelming response inspired a special-edition production run. Engines were assembled at the Wixom Performance Build Center, where the buyer could opt to participate in the engine assembly. With national records for quarter-mile times in the 9-second range, the COPOs success has continued every year since the 2012 model year, with a limited run of 69 cars. Each COPO Camaro race car is built by hand starting with production hardware, including the same body in white used for production models. The production race cars are fitted with an NHRA-approved roll cage and other safety equipment, along with racing chassis and suspension components including a unique solid rear axle system in place of a regular-production Camaros independent rear axle. If youre looking to stand out at every car-show and be part of a unique club (1 of 69), this is the vehicle for you.
