Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is offering this 1980 Triumph TR7 Convertible at our Atlanta Showroom. The consignor states her to have been repainted and possibly restored at some point, though the history was lost on her past - and shows just 70,580-miles on the clock. This survivor is painted in the factory Vermillion bright red with Black top, and a Saddle vinyl interior, riding on a set of aftermarket aluminum wheels. From a visual inspection - the car shows to have been cosmetically restored, the paint shows very well, the interior looks new, engine bay original and very detailed, same for the trunk area. The only real “ding would be a small tear/repair on the convertible top - that otherwise looks to be in very good condition. She is powered by a 121.9 cu in/2.0-L inline 4-cylinder, mate to a 5-speed manual transmission. It would take very little -to take this car to the next level - or just keep her they way she is - and enjoy!! This fine example shows very well, and appears to have been well maintained. This 1980 TR7 is optioned with; manual top, vinyl; interior, power brakes, alloy wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport 185/60R14 radial tires. If youve been looking for one of these babies -and youre interested - dont wait - we dont expect her to last long! Located in our Atlanta Showroom, this 1980 Triumph TR7 Convertible can be seen in person, or online including HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is excited to offer this very nice, 2owner [1-family] 1987 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Pickup Truck. The truck went from father - to son-in-law/grandson - who started her restoration as a team. This Pickup has been treated to all new LNC sheet metal, from fenders, doors, hood, bed panels, and tailgate. They then took the next plunge - and bought all new bumpers, trim, custom grill, head/taillights. Good intentions need to be rewarded - and the completion was just that - they got her back together w/o any spare parts!! She is painted in a beautiful Red Metallic, but the painter [Dad] hadnt sprayed before - and without trying to be mean - he needed to stay with the mechanics! She looks like an “orange peel on steroids but shines like no tomorrow! She is powered by a new GM 350 cu in engine, with Edelbrock aluminum intake, with just 500-miles on it, mated to an automatic transmission. When you peek under the hood, you can see its been detailed, and with the chrome dress up additions, and a set of headers, with new pipes and mufflers - looks fresh. Peek inside the interior, as the pattern of detail continues as she looks new, with a Tan vinyl bench seat, carpet, dash protector, custom tilt column, steering wheel, headliner, along with a new tinted sliding rear window. When you take the time to detail a truck like this, you need to finish her off with a set of wheels, and thats what he did. She is dressed in American Racing chrome 5-star wheels with Firestone 2 275/40R18 radial tires. Options on this beauty include; power steering, power brakes, a/c, tilt wheel, aftermarket wheels, with Firestone tires. Gateway Classic Cars is privileged to offer for purchase in our Dallas-Ft. Worth showroom this stunning and highly desirable 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SE Cabriolet. The exterior is a beautiful, rich dark green with a thick cognac leather interior. The documentation for this vehicle includes a binder full of service records and the original owner’s manual. Features on this collector quality vehicle includes air conditioning, power windows, power steering, steering column automatic transmission, power disc brakes, and Becker Europa AM/FM radio with power antenna. Mercedes-Benzs elegant Paul Bracq-designed W111 made its debut in 1959 and was produced, in its many variations, through 1971. Among the most desirable variations were the two-door modelsâ€the 280 SE Cabriolet and Coupeâ€which were expensive, virtually hand-built automobiles hailing from the great tradition of German craftsmanship. The wood trim throughout the interior were all genuine solid hardwood. The leather upholstery is thick and comfortable; and both the ride quality and handling are superb. These cars rapidly became favorites of international socialites and celebrities, and they were frequently seen cruising in all of the worlds most posh destinations. Just less than 1,400 280SE Cabriolets were assembled from 1968-1971. Their rarity, performance, handling, craftsmanship are all blended perfectly into a design that has become iconic. It is no wonder why the 280SE has become one of the most recognized classic Mercedes-Benz models sought after by collectors today. Description:

Now for sale at Gateways of Houston is this beautiful light blue 2010 Ferrari California. The California is a car filled with firsts for Ferrari: the first front-engine V-8, the first use of direct injection, the first seven-speed transmission, the first true launch-control system, the first retractable hardtop, and the first stacked exhaust. The direct injection helps improve mileage and decrease emissions but because the California is heavier than the F430 it shares its engine architecture with, the tuning is optimized to boost torque by 14 lb-ft at the expense of 29 horsepower, for a total of 454 hp and 357 lb-ft. All this power is sent through a Getrag dual-clutch paddle shifted seven speed transmission for smooth acceleration and lightning fast gear changes allowing this Italian grand touring car to sprint to 60mph in just 3.5 seconds and running a ¼ mile in just under 12 seconds at 117mph. The cars ceramic brakes have been fined tuned compared to the other Ferrari’s you’ll find on the road, so they are much more user friendly yet still responsive stopping this car at 60mph in just 100 feet. The California features an all new Chassis to help keep this hard top convertible rigid and agile in the corners. This car is a true driving pleasure as you would expect from Ferrari, the California turns mundane trips out into an experience and turns heads wherever you go. Featuring navigation, leather interior, power everything, self-leveling headlights, stability control, traction control, tire pressure monitoring, driving zone, and cruise control. To see all the HD pictures and video please go to http://gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/2010/ferrari/california-S1040.html. Description:

1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427 For sale! Motorcar classics is proud to present this NCRS Top Flight and Duntov Award-Winning 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427/400 Coupe finished in Sunfire Yellow with White interior and Black vinyl trim. Unlike today, when you purchased an American car during the Sixties and Seventies you could choose from a wide array of options from a huge factory menu. A buyer could configure just about any American car with a completely unique set of specifications and equipment. And in todays market many of these optionchoice, even obscure one, can add great value to a collector car, and in the Corvette world a combination of options can add up to a bump in value that is greater than the sum of the individual options. The freedom to specify the car to the buyers whims resulted in some very unusual, and sometimes unique, combinations, especially among relatively low production models like Corvette. The 1967 Corvette offered here is a shining example. It was ordered by Washburn Chevrolet in Santa Barbara, California with the combination of the 427/400hp L68 engine and the unusual choice of the Powerglide automatic transmission. Chevrolet built only 2,324 Corvettes with Powerglide in the entire 1967 model run of 22,940 cars. No one knows how many Big Block Powerglide Corvettes were built, much less with the high performance 400hp L68, but it has to be a number that is almost infinitesimally small. The choice of these options becomes clear from the dealerships copy of the Car Shipper and on the New Vehicle Inspection and Adjustment Schedule. Both documents have handwritten notes saying Mrs. Washburn Demo.Further to its intended purpose, the cars very comprehensive equipment list includes 4-Season Air Conditioning, transistor ignition, 3.08:1 Positraction axle, AM-FM radio, tinted glass, power windows, power steering, power brakes, air injection smog control, telescopic steering wheel and the speed warning accessory. Upon arriving at the dealership it was further equipped with a set of Michelin tires. Painted Sunfire Yellow (1967s fifth most popular color) with White interior and Black vinyl trim, it is a handsome and highly unusual Corvette, as pleasing to the eye as its lengthy options list is to Corvette collectors. It was restored in the early 90s and has an impressive concours history, winning its first NCRS Top Flight awards in May and August 1991, then again being judged NCRS Top Flight at the 1999 National Convention and Southern Regional. It completed its Performance Verification at Zion, Utah and put it all together for the Duntov Award at the National Convention that year. The owners at the time, Bob and Nancy Unger, went all the way back through the chain of ownership to locate and get a statement from each of the prior owners. In some cases they even sent along copies of registrations, purchase agreements and other documents they still had in their files. It has been superbly maintained since and remains in exceptional condition today. It is nearly show ready, demonstrating the quality of its restoration by the way it is holding up. It is thoroughly documented and has an outstanding selection of options including the Big Block L68 V-8, factory air conditioning and high speed 3.08:1 Positraction rear axle ratio for relaxed driving on the highway. The Powerglide automatic is a matter of personal preference, but for any Corvette Collector who finds the heavy clutch of a Big Block four-speed to be a challenge, the Powerglide, AC, and other luxuries are a desirable combination. It also is one of the rarest of all Mid-Year Corvettes, with a combination of options that make it unique.

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this sharp 1985 Chevrolet El Camino. Sporting a smooth running 305 and a 3-speed automatic transmission, this El Camino is a fantastic long-hauler, but still can cook the tires! The engine is virtually stock and has been very well taken care of. A soft rumble can be heard at idle giving just enough of a muscle-car feel to draw attention at the local parking lot. With a fresh 2-tone repaint laid smooth and clean, this El Camino is all dressed up for a night on the town. The dash has been upgraded to that of a Monte Carlo for a bit more class inside the vehicle. The cloth tan interior has a very unique contrast with the black and red two-tone exterior that works surprisingly well. This is a “start up and drive car, ready to take you anywhere you want to go. If there was a bridge from New York to France, this bad boy would purr along the whole way! With a new paint job, a strong driveline, and a solid body, this 1985 El Camino is a great classic piece of American history. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 2007 Ford Mustang GT California Special. The California Special edition was originally introduced in 1968 as a limited run special edition. This was an appearance package which could be added to a Mustang GT. The package included Fog lights, hood pins, side scoops, a deck lid wing, and Thunderbird tail lights. Less than 5,000 of the 1968 GT/CS were produced making them rare and sought after. Ford paid homage to these 1968s by bringing back the package in 2007. The new version of the package adds the following to a Mustang GT: two tone leather seats, unique floor mats, side stripes, side scoops, rolled exhaust tips, unique front and rear bumpers, and 18 polished wheels. This one is painted in Red Fire Metallic over a two toned tan and gray leather interior. Shifting is a blast thanks to a 5 speed manual and power is on demand coming from the 300 horse power 4.6 liter V8. A Shaker sound system will play our favorite tunes, or you can roll down the window and listen to the dual exhaust tips rumbling from the V8. The GT/CS are a limited production run and will most likely find their ways into some collections over the years. Heres an opportunity to do just that or drive it and have fun! For more information on this 2007 Ford Mustang GT/CS, call 618-271-3000. To view 100+ HD photos and a video of the Mustang, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
