Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a very rare 1950 Lagonda Drop Head Coupe. This car is one of 50 produced and who knows how many survived. Lagonda was an English car company with close relations to Aston Martin. They share the same engine that was used in the Aston Martin DB2. Power comes from a silky smooth 2.6 liter inline 6 cylinder with twin overhead cams. Shifting is unique as it is a 4 speed manual shifted via column shift. Most of us are familiar with the old three on the tree, but a 4 speed on the column? Yes, indeed and it works quite well. The car also utilizes an independent rear suspension with inboard drum brakes to reduce unsprung weight. The front suspension is also independent. The term Drop Head Coupe is European for a convertible in the old days. This four passenger luxury machine has suicide doors and plush leather seats. If this was your daily driver in 1950, you were of importance. While your friends were driving the Peoples Car(VW Beetle) you were cruising in this wild machine. This is the kind of car you would see at the Grand Prix at Silverstone parked next to the ERA garage (English Racing Automobiles), the home racing team. This beautiful example has received a complete and detailed restoration. Dark red paint graces the body while soft tan leather with beautiful wood adorning the rest of the interior. Outside youll notice dual side mirrors mounted on the front fenders and on the doors. There are also dual gas doors, each with lead weights attached to chains to keep the filler doors from opening on their own. Polished stainless steel hinged vent windows offer seamless operability. Turn signals deploy from the side of the car and illuminate. This car exudes class and will be a terrific addition for any serious collector. Dont miss this rare opportunity to own an original Lagonda. Call our St. Louis showroom for additional information or swing by for a close look. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a stunning 2009 Audi R8. Audi based the R8 off the Lamborghini Gallardo and put Audi on the map as a high end sports car manufacturer. This mid engine beauty uses a 4.2 Liter V8 which churns out 414 HP. The R8 could be optioned with an R-Tronic paddle shift gearbox, but this one has the highly desirable six speed manual transmission. This transmission makes it a true drivers car and features a unique gated shifter. The transmission transfers power to both the front and rear drive wheels utilizing Audis signature Quattro system. This particular example is finished in a rare factory red with black leather interior. The interior is typical Audi build quality with plenty of technology and creature comforts. This car really is an exotic sports car that can be driven regularly and comfortably. This particular example is hardly broken in with only 11,180 miles on the odometer. It is a two owner vehicle with a clean vehicle history report. You can see this stunning R8 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this menacing Hemi powered 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Debuting for the 2007 model year the JK Wrangler was an evolution of the preceding Wranglers with many daily driver friendly refinements such as a wider track width, longer wheelbase and most notably, the addition of a 4 door model as you see here. The JK Wrangler maintained it’s status as an icon for those with an active lifestyle and continued to be a top seller for the automaker. This 2011 example is real sharp with its black paint job and big off road tires on 20 inch wheels. As you walk around the vehicle you’ll notice nice details like custom fenders, aftermarket hood and front mounted winch. Take a seat inside and you’ll see the interior retains a mostly original look with just the pillar mounted gauges and rear mounted transmission cooler hinting at the serious drivetrain. Speaking of which, under the hood is a monstrous supercharged 7 Liter Hemi V8 and is paired with a 4L80E 4 speed automatic transmission. According to the seller this vehicle was built and tuned by Arrington performance so imagine how this Jeep can get up and go! If you’re looking for a Jeep that is far from the typical mall crawler and will frighten families if you go anywhere near the mall, this is the one you want to own! Options include AM/FM radio, removable hard top, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, tilt wheel, seat belts, and alloy wheels wrapped in off road tires.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this AC Cobra Replica, which is titled as a 2014 ASVE Cobra replica. The Shelby Cobra was such an iconic car that plenty of replica companies started reproducing them but they are not all created equal. No one will argue about the performance and build quality of this Everett-Morrison Cobra Replica. All Cobras are special beasts, but this build is a little more unique with its engine and drivetrain. Under the hood is a 460 CID Ford Racing crate motor V8 that rumbles to life and belts out a menacing note through the side pipes. This engine started as a 351 that was bored & stroked with high deck cylinder heads that gives it the 460 CID. The engine dyno’s at 600 HP & 575 foot-lbs of torque. The engine is backed by a five-speed Tremec 600 manual gearbox that leads into a 9-inch ford rear end. Since being built in 2014, this car has just 1,062 miles on it & one owner. To hammer the visual impact of this Cobra home, it is finished with a lustrous burgundy-and-gold paint job with classic cobra aluminum wheels. The car also features a 3790 Stainless alloy tubular frame giving it much more strength & rigidity in the car than most other replicas on the market. It also features 4-wheel independent suspension that gives it a seriously smooth ride compared to other replicas on the market. The car has a rare option for cobras in that is has air conditioning!! The tan leather interior is in fantastic condition and very comfortable. Options on this AC Cobra Replica include 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, power brakes, seat belts, aluminum/alloy wheels and radial tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this showstopping 1935 Studebaker Dictator. Studebaker Dictators, such as this, are quite hard to come by these days and even harder to come by is one which boasts a build of such craftsmanship. If youre looking for a stunner then look no further! The vehicle itself is an original 1935 Studebaker steel body on the original frame with the addition of a Fat Man Engineering Mustang II front cross member. The front and rear suspension both consist of adjustable shocks from Air Ride Technologies with controls for all four corners which means you can give the car a real mean stance and the touch of a button. Speaking of stance, this Stude sits on top of polished aluminum “Frisco style wheels from Colorado Custom Wheels. The attention to detail of these wheels is highlighted by the staggered front/rear sizes and air valves which sit flush with the inside surface and behind the spoke for a real show car touch. The generous spacing between the wheel spokes give the observer a front row seat to the Wilwood billet style Dynalite polished aluminum calipers and steel disc rotors at all four corners. Open the power pneumatic hood and you find the heart of this Dictator: a stout and loud 5.7 Camaro LT-1 V8 paired with a 4L60E 4 speed automatic. The engine has been cleaned, painted and features fiberglass intake cover, custom painted valve covers, stainless braided fluid lines and all polished pulleys. The interior has been fully insulated and all dash controls are concealed behind painted panels for a clean look. The seats are upholstered in a Sahara color Schmidt American leather and is accented beautifully by a Bentley sourced Ruby carpet. At the helm youll find a GM tilt steering column featuring cruise control and a Colorado Custom steering wheel that is cut to match the wheels. Stepping back outside the vehicle you notice fine touches like the Packard headlight cans and body flush indicator/brake lights. The paint is what really gives the car its presence with a Glasurit 55 base coat/clear coat in a two tone Maroon and Black. There are so many more beautiful details to this stunning Studebaker but not enough room to list them all! Options include AC, AM/FM/CD stereo, spare tire, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, seat belts, leather interior, and aluminum/alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires. This is the one you want to own. This 1935 Studebaker Dictator is offered for sale by our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1968 Chevrolet “Nickey” Camaro SS/RS. Not familiar with a Nickey Camaro, here is a little history. Nickey Chevrolet opened all the way back in 1925. It didn’t take long for them to make a name for themselves. By the 60s they were one of the largest automotive retailers and more importantly the largest Hi-Performance parts shop in the world! If the factory wouldn’t do it, Nickey would. When the all-new Camaro was unveiled for the ’67 Model year Nickey was quick to offer the monster 427 engine as a dealer install and several other performance upgrades, cementing their place in automotive history. The muscle car and horsepower wars were abruptly ended in the early 70s, largely due to the new emissions standards. Sadly Nickey Chevrolet could not sustain their way of business and closed their doors in 1973. But it would not be forever. In 2010 under new ownership and working from an incredible legacy, Nickey is back in business! Here we have a 1968 model, believed to be an original “Nickey” Stage II Camaro. Unfortunately, Nickey Chevrolet did not keep great records and with the closure many have been lost to history. There is no documentation to verify it and numbers do not match because motors were swapped at the shop to create these legendary cars back in the day. The stance of this car is iconic. The red paint looks great and the shiny 427 and Nickey badging quickly command your attention. The redline tires is a nice touch. The black vinyl interior complements the look and is also in great order. Walking around to the drive door you grip the handle and excitement overwhelms you. As you step in and as you get settled you run your hands around the steering wheel and the nostalgia takes hold. Push in the clutch and give her a little gas as you turn the key and monster 427ci V8 roars to life. The sound of this car, especially on a cold start! You know what I’m talking about. You should see the headers on this ride! Look to be full 2-inch. All the power of this big block is at your fingertips, literally, as she has a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission! The current owner has had her for over 4 years, acquired her from a private local owner. Under his ownership he removed, repainted and resealed the block. Electric fans were installed to keep her cool. A complete fuel system overhaul was done, OEM fuel lines, new fuel intake and rebuilt carburetor. Owner believes all the chrome to be original. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! This car is certainly going to command attention anywhere you take her, or simply where anyone car hear it! Options on this Camaro include: Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, AM/FM Radio, Rally Wheels, and Redline Tires. This 1968 Chevrolet “Nickey” Camaro SS/RS is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to list this two of a kind 1963 Corvette Custom Split Window Coupe known as The Outer Limits This thing was built and restyled by Farhner custom shop of Kansas City, MO from a brand new factory split window coupe that had less than 100 miles on it and completed in late 1963. The wheel wells were radiused and the fender tops were heightened and finned outward. Shaved door handles were replaced with electrical solenoids. Side pipes were added along with a custom screw gear mechanism to open the hood for show car displays. It was featured in Rod and Custom magazine. Paint is White Pearl with White leather interior with contrasting Red carpet and an asymmetrical modified dash. A shooting star theme can be seen on the headliner and 5-star custom wheels, This car was restored in the 1970s and upon completion shown at the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals. The under car and chassis are absolute jewelry!!! Thousands of dollars were spent on custom chrome plating. Motor is a high performance V8 that runs very strong backed-up by a Muncie 4 speed and 3.36 posi-traction rear end. Documented with a detailed build sheet and old display photos. Build cost would surely exceed 200 thousand dollars in todays money. Outer Limits was sold to Robert and Margie Petersen of the Peterson Museum where it was displayed for many years becoming a Los Angeles icon. Fresh out of the museum circuit, this car has been recently inspected and serviced by a renown Corvette L.A. area Corvette specialist. Production date of March 15th, 1963 and delivered new by Ed Roberts Chevrolet in Bonner Springs, KS (dealer code 711 in zone 5) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR). This car is kind of ugly BUT a very Kool kind-of-ugly!! Old customs seldom die as seen with many other Barris inspired cars of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. This car is not intended for anyone wanting to drive or fiddle with a Corvette on weekends. Neither is it intended for anyone wanting a restored 100-point piece of Bloomington or NCRS jewelry. It is intended for the passionate automotive connoisseur or historian who can appreciate historically significant customs from the 1950s and 1960s. Dont let this piece of history slip away from you! Description:

This 1999 Shelby Series 1 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The name Shelby has been associated with unbelievable street machines since the early sixties. From his original AC Cobra to his work with the Dodge Viper team the man had done work with all three of the big American brands. The only thing he had not done was build a car from the ground up which beginning in 1997 that would all change. The Series one was the only car produced by Shelby from a clean slate. From the aluminum chassis to the curvaceous lines of the body the Series 1 was all Shelby. The 249 production cars made were all titled as 1999’s though there were others produced as component cars the original production cars are the ones that are true collectors. This beauty has lived a pampered life with less than 2700 miles on the odometer this Series 1 is ready to be put into another collection. The carbon fiber body is in excellent condition, showing no signs of abuse or neglect, she truly is a remarkable example. The silver paint was chosen by Shelby as he felt any other color would take away from the cars lines. The only option available was a set of racing stripes in multiple colors making this all silver one a rare find. The huge opening in the hood is reminiscing of the classic 60’s Leman racers that Carrol had beat with his GT40. The vents in the side have a C3 Corvette feel to them with the rear end having its own unique look. Under that hood is a GM based 4.0 V8 putting out 320HP. Mated to a ZF 6 speed transmission the car is all business. Inside this Series 1 is a seat of Black leather buckets with Carroll Shelby’s signature stitched in the back. With multiple Shelby checkered Snake eyes placed here and there you are reminded that this is what Shelby always wanted his Cobra to be. The fact they only made 249 of these cars is truly amazing. With this one though having the stripe delete option it truly is like finding a needle in a haystack. AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Brakes, Manual Convertible Top, Power Steering, Leather Interior, Power Windows, Tilt Steering Wheel, Aluminum Alloy Wheels with Radial tires. For more information on this 1999 Shelby Series 1, please call the Louisville showroom at (812) 294-1555 or email us at louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. To see more of it, go to our website: www.GatewayClassicCars.com, where youll see over 100 HD photos and an HD video of it in operation. Alternatively, if you want to see it in person, come to our Louisville Showroom, located at 13576 Blue Lick Rd, Memphis, IN 47143. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LOU/1921/1999-Shelby-Series-1-Convertible

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to offer this gorgeous 1967 Ford Mustang restomod. This classic pony was built as a tribute to the Carroll Shelbys Terlingua Racing team and is covered in a superbly executed blue and black finish that must be seen up close to appreciate. The black hood and contrasting racing stripe and C-cove accents are both subtle and striking: in the right light, they look almost like a midnight blue metallic; but that is no doubt a result of them being laid over the beautiful metallic Ford blue paint. The exterior is further enhanced by the use of some body parts by Mustangs to Fear, including the elongated hood, rear decklid with spoiler, and front clip and rear bumper, which all serve to make this coupe really stand out, looking both menacing and classy at the same time...some history from its owner: We found the car in southern Mississippi. Originally it was a 289 (C-code) car, but somewhere in its life, that had been swapped for a 351M. We completely stripped and sandblasted the vehicle and the only corrosion we found was behind the rear wheels, on the battery tray, and two holes less than dime size in the floor pan. The fenders still had their original stampings from the Ford Assembly Line. The front clip and hood were replaced with Fiberglass from Mustangs to Fear, as was the rear deck lid and bumper. It took 3 ½ years for the restoration and there have been no other owners or drivers since. The car has been garaged full-time and driven periodically. During the restoration and modification project, attention to detail was paramount, with the objective of creating a 67 Mustang coupe that could be driven daily, taken on weekend road racing excursions, and could also bring home trophies at car shows. Here are some of the drivetrain details: 351W block (F4TE), bored .030, M-6250-F303 cam, TrickFlow TFS-51617203-C00 PowerPort Cleveland 195 heads (72cc combustion chamber, 195cc intake runner volume, 115cc exhaust runner volume, 2.080 intake valves, 1.600 exhaust valves, 1.460 outer springs), Eagle Rods ESP-5956FB connecting rods, ARP Pro Series Head studs (ARP-154-4004), CompCams High Energy Aluminum rocker arms (CCA-17045-16), TrickFlow Chromoly pushrods (TFS-21408400), TrickFlow lifters (TFS-21400004-16), MSD 8584 Billet Distributor, MSD ignition, MSD Atomic Fuel Injection, full stainless dual exhaust with Borla XR-1 mufflers, Tremec T-5 transmission, Ford 8.8 rear end with TractionLoc limited slip differential and 3.73:1 gear ratio. The 351 Clevor is putting out 405 flywheel HP and 420 lb/ft of torque, with 335HP/355TQ making it to the wheels, with one of the flattest torque curves youll ever see, according to its owner. Based on our seat of the pants test drive, this is one seriously potent Pony. The suspension is fully adjustable, and is as well-engineered as the drive train, with a full TCI setup. TCI Mustang II front suspension with adjustable coilovers and power steering, TCI Torque Arm rear suspension with adjustable coilovers, TCI Subframe Connectors, and extra torque box added for front stiffening. To haul this beast down from the triple-digit speeds that some will see in it, power disc brakes with slotted and drilled rotors were selected, and they perform admirably. Inside, there is a full TMI interior, including custom center console, and seating that complements the exterior color scheme, with custom, blue-stitched synthetic leather and Alcantara suede inserts that help grip the occupants during those high g-force cornering events, which this car will be called upon to deliver frequently! The full ana-digi electronic display also keeps with the black and blue color scheme and is much more accurate than the original analog gauges. A full dual-DIN Android Auto head unit with touch screen provides the aural entertainment when one is not content with enjoying the howl that the potent 351 puts out. This highly-customized 67 has everything one could want in a vintage Mustang: cold Vintage air; a superb-sounding custom audio system; new interior; fabulous brakes; a strong, fuel-injected 351 with a torque curve thats about as flat as your kitchen table; a crisp, yet smooth-shifting Tremec 5-speed manual transmission; super-sticky high performance Cooper Zeon RS3-A radials (P245/45ZR17 in front, P255/40ZR18 out back) wrapped around some very sharp American Racing lightweight aluminum wheels; that amazing-sounding Borla-equipped dual exhaust, real smoked glass (not window-film-tinted) windows, sequential rear LED turn signals, and that gorgeous paint scheme. 1967 Mustang coupes dont come much finer than this, so dont miss out!

Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This is one bad machine! Power comes from a Super Charged 416 cubic inch LS3 making a whopping 756 horsepower! The engine is from Wegner Motorsports and features a Callies forged rotating assembly, LSA cylinder heads, TPIS 102mm throttle body, custom camshaft to work with the blower, 2.9 Whipple blower with air to water sandwich intercooler, external heat exchanger and a hidden Bosch pump. Adding some flare to this awesome engine is a set of Wegner billet valve covers painted Charcoal Gray to match the giant blower. It is truly amazing how driver friendly these high horsepower cars are today. If you wanted 700+ horsepower from a big block from the 60s, you would be running high compression, lots of fuel and a camshaft that would hate life under 4,000 RPM. This work of art starts on the first try, runs on pump gas and is a breeze to drive. It makes power right off idle. This beautiful power plant is worthless without a transmission built to handle the power. This transmission is ready for all 756 horsepower. 4L80E 4 speed automatic with overdrive, performance torque converter with lock up, a large external transmission cooler with a fan and a slick operating push button shifter from Performance Drivetrain Solutions. Aft of the transmission is a PST 3.5 aluminum driveshaft and back to a custom 12 bolt with 3.30 gears, upgraded 35 spline axles, 1/2 wheel studs and an Eaton limited slip. Making sure that everything is communicating with each other there are monitoring sensors for all the engine and transmission functions. There is also a USB connection for laptop tuning and gauge display. The suspension powder coated NOS F41 components and includes powder coated tubular front control arms, powder coated and boxed rear control arms and Viking Warrior double adjustable coil overs for the front and rear. Brakes are Wilwood 6 piston calipers up front and 4 piston calipers for the rear. Wheels are Billet Specialties 18x9 and 18x10 with Mickey Thompson drag radials out back. The restoration was a full frame off rotisserie and included a full new glass kit, restored original GM chrome and stainless, complete new factory wiring harness, NOS T3 headlights, NOS taillights and marker lights, all GM brackets, hinges and latches were blasted and powder coated. After a Walnut shell media blasting, the car was blocked numerous times and painted in a base coat/clear coat custom Silver paint finished off with 5 coats of clear. Inside is just as stunning as the rest of the build. Custom leather front and rear seats start things off. Legendary front and rear panels, custom package tray and Ultra leather for headliner and sail panels. The build was completed in July of 2016 and has covered a modest 488 miles. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1. The Chevrolet Corvette (C1) is the first generation of the Corvette sports car produced by Chevrolet. It was introduced late in the 1953 model year and produced through 1962. This generation is commonly referred to as the solid-axle generation, as the independent rear suspension did not appear until the 1963 Stingray. Powering this Corvette is a 327-cubic-inch displacement valve-in-head V8s with 4.0 bore and 3.25 stroke, precision balanced as an assembly. Backing this 327 V8 is the rare 3-Speed Synchro-Mesh transmission with a floor-mounted gearshift. The outer body was made from then-revolutionary glass fiber reinforced plastic material. This Corvette has been painted in “Sixty-Six Silver and has black leather interior. 1962 saw the last solid-rear-axle suspension, that had been used from the beginning. Rocker panel trim was seen for the first time, exposed headlights for the last, until 2005. Options on this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1 include: AM Radio, Manual Convertible Top, Hub Caps, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and White Walls. This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1 is being offered by our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
