Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This is one bad machine! Power comes from a Super Charged 416 cubic inch LS3 making a whopping 756 horsepower! The engine is from Wegner Motorsports and features a Callies forged rotating assembly, LSA cylinder heads, TPIS 102mm throttle body, custom camshaft to work with the blower, 2.9 Whipple blower with air to water sandwich intercooler, external heat exchanger and a hidden Bosch pump. Adding some flare to this awesome engine is a set of Wegner billet valve covers painted Charcoal Gray to match the giant blower. It is truly amazing how driver friendly these high horsepower cars are today. If you wanted 700+ horsepower from a big block from the 60s, you would be running high compression, lots of fuel and a camshaft that would hate life under 4,000 RPM. This work of art starts on the first try, runs on pump gas and is a breeze to drive. It makes power right off idle. This beautiful power plant is worthless without a transmission built to handle the power. This transmission is ready for all 756 horsepower. 4L80E 4 speed automatic with overdrive, performance torque converter with lock up, a large external transmission cooler with a fan and a slick operating push button shifter from Performance Drivetrain Solutions. Aft of the transmission is a PST 3.5 aluminum driveshaft and back to a custom 12 bolt with 3.30 gears, upgraded 35 spline axles, 1/2 wheel studs and an Eaton limited slip. Making sure that everything is communicating with each other there are monitoring sensors for all the engine and transmission functions. There is also a USB connection for laptop tuning and gauge display. The suspension powder coated NOS F41 components and includes powder coated tubular front control arms, powder coated and boxed rear control arms and Viking Warrior double adjustable coil overs for the front and rear. Brakes are Wilwood 6 piston calipers up front and 4 piston calipers for the rear. Wheels are Billet Specialties 18x9 and 18x10 with Mickey Thompson drag radials out back. The restoration was a full frame off rotisserie and included a full new glass kit, restored original GM chrome and stainless, complete new factory wiring harness, NOS T3 headlights, NOS taillights and marker lights, all GM brackets, hinges and latches were blasted and powder coated. After a Walnut shell media blasting, the car was blocked numerous times and painted in a base coat/clear coat custom Silver paint finished off with 5 coats of clear. Inside is just as stunning as the rest of the build. Custom leather front and rear seats start things off. Legendary front and rear panels, custom package tray and Ultra leather for headliner and sail panels. The build was completed in July of 2016 and has covered a modest 488 miles. For more information on this show stopper, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1. The Chevrolet Corvette (C1) is the first generation of the Corvette sports car produced by Chevrolet. It was introduced late in the 1953 model year and produced through 1962. This generation is commonly referred to as the solid-axle generation, as the independent rear suspension did not appear until the 1963 Stingray. Powering this Corvette is a 327-cubic-inch displacement valve-in-head V8s with 4.0 bore and 3.25 stroke, precision balanced as an assembly. Backing this 327 V8 is the rare 3-Speed Synchro-Mesh transmission with a floor-mounted gearshift. The outer body was made from then-revolutionary glass fiber reinforced plastic material. This Corvette has been painted in “Sixty-Six Silver and has black leather interior. 1962 saw the last solid-rear-axle suspension, that had been used from the beginning. Rocker panel trim was seen for the first time, exposed headlights for the last, until 2005. Options on this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1 include: AM Radio, Manual Convertible Top, Hub Caps, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and White Walls. This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1 is being offered by our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1972 Ford Bronco Sport for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this immaculately restored 1972 Ford Bronco Wagon featured in Candy Apple Red with Wimbledon White hard roof and White sport bucket seat interior. This Bronco was a Texas car that was totally rust-free prior to being the subject of a huge restoration in 2020 by a Bronco expert in Texas and a thick stack of receipts are included. Additional documentation includes the original owner's manual and a notebook kept by a prior owner from 1982 with records of services and gas fills. These records support the representation that the 12,327 miles recorded on the odometer are original. This concours-ready Bronco is powered by Ford's 302CI V8 with a 3-speed manual transmission with the stock factory column shift. A versatile floor-mounted transfer case controls the high and low range, and two or four wheel drive. And our Bronco is the Sport edition which features the red grill, white wheel lip flares, and upgraded interior. The car looks great on its Vintage Western Aluminum Turbine wheels with 31x10.50R15LT white letter tires, and it benefits from having a custom roll bar installed for safety. Additional features and upgrades include: full-size spare tailgate carrier, underhood jack, complete floor sound deadener, updated Retro Sound audio system that is Sirius/XM ready with Bluetooth connectivity, dual side mirrors, dual fuel tanks, and electric wipers. While originally built as a Jeep competitor, these first generation Broncos have become very collectible and it is rare to find an unmolested, undamaged, low-mile example that is meticulously restored to showroom condition. This is one for the true enthusiast.

Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1989 Cadillac Eldorado. This clean car fax two owner car has actual mileage and feels very new. Upscale luxury for Cadillac in 1988 was met with an extensive restyle, and sales nearly doubled from the previous year, up to 33,210. While the wheelbase, doors, roof, and glass remained relatively unchanged, new body panels gave the 1988 model a more identifiable Eldorado appearance. Underneath the restyled hood was Cadillacs new 155 horsepower 4.5 liter V8. A comprehensive anti-lock braking system, developed by Teves, was newly available. Longer front fenders held bladed tips, and a new grille above the revamped front bumper. In back, new three-sided tail lamps appeared along with a new bumper and trunk lid. Bladed 14 aluminum wheels remained standard, while an optional 15 snowflake-pattern alloy wheel was included with the Touring Suspension option. The interior held wider front seat headrests and swing-away door pull handles. New upholstery patterns, along with shoulder belts for outboard rear-seat passengers, appeared for both base and Biarritz models, with the latter bringing back the tufted-button design - last seen in the 1985 Eldorado Biarritz. A new vinyl roof option, covering the full roof top, featured a band of body color above the side door and windows - similar to the style used until 1978. This replaced the cabriolet roof option, which covered the rear half of the roof, introduced just a year earlier. This 1988 restyle would be the last, until the model was replaced by an all-new Eldorado for 1992. With such big changes for Eldorado just a year earlier, 1989 saw little that was new. The optional automatic rearview mirror went from an electrically operated mechanical tilting mechanism to the new electrochromic style, using a clear fluid filled between the mirror and a thin sheet of glass, which tints upon activation. A new exterior color, White Diamond, brought the color choices up to 18. Gone were the 14-inch wheels, as the previously optional 15-inch snowflake-style aluminum wheel, introduced last year, was made standard for the base Eldorado. A compact disc player, available only with the Delco Bose Gold Series music system, was a new option this year, as was reversible floor mats, and gold-plated ornamentation Cadillac grille and trunk scripts, sail panel ornaments, deck lid engine plaque, trunk lock cover, tail lamp emblems, and available wire wheel cover wreath and crest. New standard items include an express-down module for the drivers window, electronic oil-life indicator, a more powerful Delco Freedom II battery, a revised factory warranty, and GMs PASS Passive Automotive Security System KEY theft-deterrent system, which activated the fuel system based upon a coded pellet within the ignition key. Previously optional items that were now added as standard equipment included a cassette player with graphic equalizer, remote fuel filler door release, and a front license plate mounting. Options include: AC, Cassette player, power brakes, power seats, wipers, reverse lights, horn, cruise control, hub caps, power steering, seat belts, power locks, tilt wheel, radial tires, power windows, alarm system, and leather interior. Our Louisville KY Showroom is proud to present this 1987 Ford Mustang LX hatchback. The Fox Body’s have a loyal following, and are beginning to increase in value, as it is getting harder to find pristine examples of these great pony cars. This entry level White LX Hatch Mustang has been a Tennessee car its entire life. This will make a great 1st car for that 16 year old who just got their license. Down the road if the young driver decides to go for more power, V8 swaps don’t get much easier than this, or maybe the addition of a turbo to the 2.3 engine will turn it into a little beast to be reckoned with. It still sports the original factory paint, though it has been touched up in a few places. This little pony has a clean car fax. The red interior looks good with no rips or tears in it. Under the hood you will find the original gas sipping 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine. The AOD 4-speed automatic makes this an easy car for anybody to drive. The wheels are 15 inch factory aluminum turbines, usually found on the GT’s of this era. Options for this Mustang LX Hatchback include; air conditioning, AM/FM radio with Cassette, power windows, cruise control, lumbar support, power brakes, power steering, power locks, and seat belts. To view this 1987 Ford LX Hatchback Mustang in greater detail, including a HD video, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com at our Louisville KY showroom. Description:

For 1993, the Fleetwood name (and exterior) was switched from the DeVille's front wheel drive C-body to the newly revised rear wheel drive D-body that the Cadillac Brougham had used previously. It was one of the first American front wheel drive vehicles to be returned to rear-wheel drive. At 225 inches (5,700 mm) overall, the Fleetwood was the longest production car made in the United States.[14] All Fleetwoods except for the commercial chassis had standard antilock brakes, traction control, and dual front airbags. In 1994, Cadillac used the Corvette-derived LT1[15] 350 cu in (5.7 L) engine to make 260 horsepower (190 kW) along with the new 4L60E automatic transmission.[13] Between 1993 and 1996, the Fleetwood commercial chassis was used instead of the DeVille for most funeral coaches and limousines produced during these years. The DeVille was used again in 1997, after production of the Fleetwood ceased. After 1996, the Cadillac Fleetwood was retired by General Motors along with all other rear-wheel drive sedans and the assembly plant was converted to truck production for the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe because of the increasing demand for SUVs.[14]

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this sharp looking 1997 Camaro Z28 30th Anniversary. 1997 marked the 30th year of production for the Camaro. For the occasion Chevrolet made just 979 examples of the 30th anniversary edition featuring a base white paint covered in twin orange stripes harkening back to the classic look of the 1969 Camaro Indianapolis 500 pace car. Powered by Chevy’s stout 5.7 L LT1 engine mated to a 4L60E transmission, this car is no slouch but even still this Camaro has been tastefully modified. The engine is sporting a 52 mm Holley throttle body, K&N intake, AFIS power fuel injectors, Hyper Tech power plus programmer and other upgrades all kept in check by a Be Cool aluminum dual core radiator. With hooker headers and a 3” Borla cat back exhaust this car sure sounds the part too. To handle all this power, the driveline is beefed up with a 2800 rpm stall TCI torque converter, Summit racing aluminum drive shaft and a Hayden transmission oil cooler and much more. This Camaro isn’t just about power though. Suspension upgrades include UMI performance rear control arms, BMR transmission torque arm, Mevo Tech upper/lower control arms and Gabriel strut assemblies making this Camaro handle like a dream. What really sets apart the look of this Z28 are the 18 inch Corvette Grand Sport wheels set over drilled and slotted rotors with orange calipers. Options include a Kenwood touchscreen radio with navigation, Glass T-tops, spare tire, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, tilt wheel, keyless entry, power mirrors, seat belts, leather interior, radial tires and posi traction. Description:

A more sophisticated, supercharged and intercooled version of the 3.8 L OHV V6 was used to power the high performance Thunderbird Super Coupe, also called Thunderbird SC for short. The Super Coupe could be had with a Mazda-derived, M5R2 5-speed manual transmission or an AOD 4-speed automatic transmission (or 4R70W for 1994/1995 models). The Thunderbird Super Coupe was Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 1989, which Ford proudly advertised. When running at a maximum of 5,600 rpm, the supercharger provided 12 psi of boost, with the engine rated at 210 horsepower (160 kW)/230 horsepower (170 kW) for 1994/1995 at 4,000 rpm and 315 lb⋅ft (427 N⋅m) of torque at 2,600 rpm under an 8.2:1 (8.6:1 for 1994/1995) compression ratio. Accompanying the more powerful engine, Super Coupes were equipped with a host of unique features underlining their higher performance demeanor relative to standard Thunderbirds. Among these were larger, 16 x 7.0 inch alloy wheels with high performance tires (standard Thunderbirds came with 15 x 6.0 inch steel wheels and 15 x 6.5 inch alloy wheels were optional), a Traction-Lok limited slip differential, standard anti-lock brakes, 4-wheel disc brakes (vented front and rear rotors), speed-sensitive variable assist steering, lower body side cladding, fog lights, and a stiffer suspension with adjustable shocks supplied by Tokico.[
