Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a one of a kind 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Sold new on August 28th 1973 in Niagara Falls, New York; this Mach 1 has been lovingly maintained and cared for since. Right off the bat, the car as taken to Armor Guard to be Rust Guard treated. The sticker still remains on the window, and clearly the product did its job as the car is incredibly solid. From then on, the stewards whom owned the vehicle were fanatical about keeping maintenance records, and documentation throughout the car’s life. From oil change invoices, to original Dealership paperwork, almost all of it has remained with the car. With this paper trail, we know the car made it’s way from New York to South Carolina, and then eventually to Illinois. The car is a Mach 1 with it’s original 351 Cleveland under the hood, and a C6 transmission and 9” rear end. It is a well optioned car with bucket seats, factory stripes, factory tachometer, factory AM radio, and even a period style aftermarket FM converter. For the music buff, it also has a factory 8 track player, so you can jam REO Speedwagon’s Ridin the Storm out, or Elton John’s Crocodile rock on 8 track! Other options include: power steering, power brakes, 3 speed wipers, and cigarette lighter. With a recent visit to the Ford dealership, perished suspension and brake components have been replaced, and the car has been given a clean bill of health. As it sits, it is a wonderful highway cruiser and a joy to display at shows. Whether you’re an experienced Mustang collector, or wishing to enter the collector car hobby, this Mach 1 would be a great choice. In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 1973 Mach 1 by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This Ranchero is worth a closer look! The wild paint scheme, built up small block, and overall style will catch every eye it passes! Back in the early 90s the owner of this Ranchero put pen to paper and wrote down his wild ideas for what the perfect Ranchero should look like. After a couple years labor and plenty of sweat equity, this wild 1965 Ranchero became a reality! The wild multi-colored paint scheme has unique features everywhere you look and has held up surprisingly well over the years. The chassis was heavily modified to fit the massive rear tires on it to fully encapsulate the drag truck look he was going for. Sitting right in the center above the tubbed-out rear wheel wells is a nitrous tank for the extra horsepower when the tricked out 289CID V8 under the hood needs a little bit more power. Open the driver door, swing the door bar out of the way, and get comfortable in the fully custom interior. The dash is all stainless steel and is equipped with enough gauges to make you wonder if you are in an airplane. The seats will keep you relaxed on the longest of cruises or punching it down the drag way. What this truck is really good at is turning every head that passes. Whether you are going to a national show or the local car cruise, this Ranchero will earn a great deal of respect. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Ranchero in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DEN/46/1965-Ford-Ranchero

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this good looking 2 owner 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. The Eldorado name plate was used the top of line Cadillacs for the first couple generations. Starting in 1971 the Eldorado would take on its 7th rendition and became what most people know as a Cadillac. Big, comfortable, and just more of everything in general was the new Cadillac. The Eldorado had grown to an astonishing 19 ft and looking even longer when the custom fender skirts were added. The new style did wonders for sales with over 51k being sold in 73 it seemed that everything was going great. In 76 GM heavily promoted the Eldorado as the last American convertible making many purchase them as investments. This one is a very good example of that. With the car having only 77028 actual miles this Cadillac will go great in any collection or garage. The paint is original in a rich white, the body is excellent condition. With the tan top up the beautiful exterior pops that much more and makes this Cadillac one of the few convertibles that look just as good with it down or up. Pop the hood and the huge rebuilt 500 CI motor looks right at home and even has room to spare. The chrome bumper upfront is in good condition and is a quality piece that only Fleetwood could produce. The interior is exactly what you can expect from Cadillac, Big, comfortable, and full of luxuries. The tan leather is in exceptional condition with the padding and cushion being just as nice. Hop in this classic and put the top down while the and there isnt a road trip that you will not want to take. Please note new AC controls will need to be purchased. Options on this 1976 Cadillac Eldorado include, AC, AM/FM Radio, Cruise, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Convertible Top, Power Windows, Telescopic wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, White Walls, Hub Caps, and Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this superb 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H. Production of GT-350’s began in 1965 at Shelby American in airplane hangers at Los Angeles Airport. To gain greater recognition and increased sales, in 1966 Shelby collaborated with The Hertz Corporation to produce 999 Shelby’s for the Hertz Sports Car Rental Club. Theses GT-350H’s- along with other high-performance cars- rented for $19.95 daily. Shelby/Hertz cars were not produced again until 2006 and 2016. This Shelby GT-350H (VIN # SFM6s-976) is 1 of only 60 produced in Red. It originally shipped to Marshall Motor Company in Mayfield Heights, Ohio in February 1966 for the ultimate delivery to the Hertz Corporation location in Cleveland Ohio. It was equipped with Hertz Club Special Wheels, radio and brake booster at a total cost of $3793.84. With 54,333 presumed original miles and Shelby Registry documentation (pages 755 and 487), it comprises original, date code correct and NOS mechanics, engine, interior and body parts. Most recently, during 2012-2014 it underwent a $30,000 refresh by renowned Shelby experts to upgrade a significant number of cosmetic and mechanical items necessary for concours Shelby and Mustang Club judging. The car retains mostly original sheet metal, has the original and rare framed fiberglass hood and functional side scoops. The black interior is all original except the carpeting and headliner and is in excellent condition. The 289 Hi-Po 306 horsepower engine is original and is coupled with a 3-speed automatic transmission (95% of Hertz cars were equipped with automatic transmissions). The detailed engine compartment maintains the original factory look down to the overspray on the firewall and messy looking black caulking where the inner and outer front seems come together. This Shelby has won awards at National and local MCA events. Authentic, original Hertz cars in this color combo and condition with proper documentation are becoming increasingly hard to find. Included is a copy of the Shelby Registry, Shelby Registry serial number Verification Letter, copies of original Bill of Sale, Transmittal Letter to Hertz, Shipping Documentation, Radio Installation Record, prior owner Title, GT-350 and 1966 Ford Owners manuals. This 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this exciting 1985 Jeep CJ7! Is it time for your Jeep adventure? Its hard to argue that this 1985 Jeep CJ7 with a small block Chevy V8 conversion, a thundering stereo, upgraded interior, and a heavy-duty suspension can deliver a great experience. It retains all thats awesome about Jeeps all-time favorite 4x4 and adds more of everything you want: power, style, and comfort. The CJ7 has been the off-roading weapon of choice for decades. This one has upgrades in all the right places to get you anywhere you want to go. The upgrades start with 350 cu in Chevy conversion. This conversion was enhanced with a Comp Cam XR 258HR cam for a wide torque range, Edelbrock intake and carb, JEGS SSR Billet Distributor, all culminating in to Hedman headers and a Flowmaster dual exhaust. All this power is cooled by an aluminum radiator which is ideal for crawling along at low speeds. Stopping power comes from an upgraded dual master cylinder with power assist. The drivetrain upgrade starts with a Chevy TH350 transmission driving the rock solid Jeep transfer case. From here it just keeps getting better, CV type rear drive shaft, single piece axles with welded tubes, 4.10 Yukon gears, Detroit Lockers and new Warn front locking hubs. To deliver the horses to the trail, polished aluminum wheels with BFGoodrich Radial All-Terrain T/A tires do the work. The suspension has been renewed and upgraded with Bilstein shocks all around. A steering stabilizer and dampener have been added to help track smoothly down the road. The tub was been refinished with bright silver paint to give it a new look, complete with Honey Badger graphics on the flanks and bright blue accents on the hood and sides. Finish quality is not car show level, but is good with no rust in the usual spots - just right for a vehicle destined to spend its life playing in the mud. It is not a trailer queen, so dont worry about getting dirt on it or even plunging into the brush, it looks great in any environment. It can be configured in to the full open-air experience Jeepers love or you can quickly add tube door bars for enhanced safety. It can also be configured with its Bestop soft top or in to a Little Pick-up configuration with tonneau top, windjammer and bikini top. Fender flares have been added to cover the oversized rubber, and it has been raised a few inches, but heavy-duty Rhino step bars and grab handles make it easy to climb aboard. The armoring up continues with rock sliders, and Rugged Ridge XHD recovery bumpers front and rear. To help you get out of those tough spots, a Rugged Ridge Extreme Duty 8,500 lbs synthetic line winch has been installed and ready to go to work. The interior features two-tone high-back sport seats that really help hold you in place during rough going. Theyre more comfortable than the usual Jeep seats and look sharp in the open cockpit of the CJ7. The instrument panel has been reworked to use Auto Meter Phantom instruments to monitor the engines vitals, along with simple indicator lights and switches for the auxiliary controls. A wood-rimmed Grant GT steering wheel seems appropriate in this case, and a floor mounted B&M shifter controls the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. For those stops with friends on the trail, theres AM/FM/CD stereo with an amplifier and subwoofer enclosure in the cargo area. This entertainment system provides the atmosphere for those trail stops where the tall tales are shared. This Jeep is improved in all the areas where it really matters. It is ready to spend the weekend on the trail, play in the sun at the beach and get you to work on Monday. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at: www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Now up for sale in Gateways Louisville showroom is this good looking 1970 Chevrolet Caprice. This cool Hardtop 4 door Caprice brings back memories of going to the country to visit Grand Pa and Grand Ma. Their go to vehicle for church on Sundays was Chevrolet very similar to this. This Caprice is believed to be a 3-owner car. Originally sold in Hodgenville Ky, the 2nd purchased this Caprice in 1996. The 2nd owner then sold it to his son who has owned it for the last 10 years. The 350 CID V8 was rebuilt about 8 years ago and only has 4000 miles on it. Under the hood, everything looks to be intact, which can sometimes be a hard thing to find in these older classics. Everybody wants to hot rod them and this leads to a lot to the original parts missing. Who didnt ride around in a big 4-door Chevy back in high school? The exterior looks to have one repaint, but it is the original color. The quarter panels where replaced by restoration shop that typically restores Corvettes. Inside, this 1970 Chevrolet Caprice is in very good shape. The cloth and vinyl is in excellent shape with no rips or tears. The vinyl does not appear to have any cracks, which is a rarity for these big body classics. If you have been wanting to get an extremely clean classic that is a little different this beauty is a great canidate. Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1972 MG MGB GT. This MG has been given a rebuild on the engine and transmission about 1000 miles ago by OFI classics. The 1800 engine and 5 speed transmission work well and will show you what British motor cars are all about. They are fun and get you connected to the road and the experience. The fixed-roof MGB GT was introduced in October 1965. Production continued until 1980, although export to the US ceased in 1974. The MGB GT sported a ground-breaking greenhouse designed by Pininfarina and launched the sporty hatchback style. By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, the B GT offered the utility of a station wagon while retaining the style and shape of a coupe. This new configuration was a 2+2 design with a right-angled rear bench seat and far more luggage space than in the roadster. Relatively few components differed, although the MGB GT did receive different suspension springs and anti-roll bars and a different windscreen which was more easily and inexpensively serviceable. Although acceleration of the GT was slightly slower than that of the roadster, owing to its increased weight, top speed improved by 5 mph to 105 mph because of better aerodynamics. Options include: Seat belts, radial tires, and vinyl interior, aluminum wheels and cloth interior. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833!

Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom we proudly present this 1973 Mercedes-Benz 280C. The 280C was a 2 door coupe variant of the W114 chassis sedans. The coupe variants featured styling which was sleek yet understated at the same time. This example was of the first year of the slightly restyled body with a lower hood line and broader grill than before. While the W114 chassis dates back to 1968 the design was kept fresh with the removal of quarter windows in the front door and Mercedes soon to be signature ribbed (for your safety) tail lights. The W114 chassis, much like all Mercedes-Benz models from this era, is an extremely durable and reliable car. This example is an unrestored survivor and truly does show how well these cars hold up with simple routine maintenance. Cosmetically this car is in very fine shape. Its original silver paint still shows very well and proves what masters of paint Mercedes-Benz was at the time. Complementing the Silver paint is a tan interior giving the entire car a classic look. Powering the vehicle is the original spec 2.8 Liter M110 inline six cylinder engine. As any Mercedes aficionado will tell you, the M110 series of engines is extremely reliable and will pack on the miles with pleasure. This 280C is equipped with air conditioning, AM/FM radio, cruise control, power steering, seat belts, leather interior, and radial tires. Description:

Built up right and ready to take whatever you throw at it! This beast of a Ranchero has had a great deal of time and money put into it to make it as reliable as possible and perform with the best. The Ford Ranchero was the first of its kind putting a bed on the same platform as the Ford’s popular sedan of the day and was first introduced back in 1957. This ranchero is part of the second generation which shares the same front end as the Ford Falcon. Sitting under the hood of this 1964 Ranchero is an engine that has helped solidify the Ford brand in the history books and has been rated as one of the top ten best engines of all time. The 351 Windsor was strong and capable of producing massive amounts of power. This 351 has a few performance parts on it including a lighter and better flowing aluminum intake and some dress up parts including finned aluminum valve covers and a polished aluminum air filter, and aluminum radiator. Putting this engine in the small Falcon platform is a huge upgrade from the factory 289 V8. With the extra horsepower in this vehicle a stronger transmission was necessary and to address this issue a David Kee built 4-speed top loader was installed that can easily handle the power of the larger V8. Keeping all of this power planted is a trick suspension set up including front and rear sway bars, brand new P-S-T Performance front end, Koni shocks on all four corners, traction bars, subframe connectors, Mustang GT front shock towers, and the upgraded 1965 Falcon steering linkage, all poly-graphite bushings, With all of these upgrades you can go into any corner with the upmost confidence. This Ranchero is not just performance orientated though; the interior was upgraded to a very cushy baseball glove leather interior that provides a comfortable ride even on the bumpy roads. The premium stereo system is clear and will blow you away while listening to your favorite classic hits. This 1964 Ranchero is an excellent cruiser and, if you are looking for something that is practical yet fun and reliable this may be the perfect classic for you! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1964 Ford Ranchero in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

This 1984 El Camino is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The El Camino is not really a truck yet not really a car but something in between. It has had the hearts and imagination of many since its release in the late 50s. They gained popularity in the mid-sixties but really came on strong in the 80s. Most recently many have taken these trucks/cars and put stronger engines making them a lot more fun to drive. This 84 has done just that with a hopped up small block 350 under the hood. The motor sounds great and is a lot more than the original 305 ever thought about being. The 350 Engine and transmission were built and installed about 4000 miles ago, so there is plenty of life left in this drivetrain. Allowing the exhaust to flow is a new set of manifolds as well as a true dual exhaust setup from the manifolds back. With new brake lines, master cylinder, calipers, and wheel cylinders this thing will stop as good as it goes. With the cooling system new as well you should have no issues with overheating and be confident when cruising in traffic. The rubber molding around the around the windows was replaced as well with it still being in great condition. The interior of the car is original and appears to be in great shape with no major signs of wear. If you have been wanting to get a up and coming car but thought about a truck as well this could be the great compromise between the two. Options on this 1984 Chevrolet El Camino include, AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt Steering, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a sweet little 1961 Nash Metropolitan Convertible . With the cease of Nash sales in early 1962, this 61 Nash Metropolitan for sale is one rare economy car. This Nash Metropolitan for sale, is one of the very first economy cars and was only offered for sale in the U.S. and Canada from 1954-1962. Early in Nash history they shared a partnership with Hudson as well as Rambler, in the later years. Powering this little Metro is a 1.5 liter inline 4-cylinder engine. At only 1,785 lbs, the inline is more than enough to put some pep in this Nashs step. Backed by a manual 3-speed transmission, this Nash was recorded to consistently knock down 30-40 MPGs. With the 3-on-the-tree shifter, this car isnt only economical to drive, but is a blast too! The exterior is a vintage paint scheme of yellow and white. The light color scheme is full of nostalgia and takes you back in time to the 60s. With tiny steel wheels with hub caps and whitewall radial tires, this car is both cute and classy. Looking at the inside, youll be impressed with the room available. This Nash sports a Black and white cloth bench style front bench, which in itself suits the car well. This Nash convertible would make a great piece for anyone interested in vintage British collector cars or just wants an attention-grabbing piece of history. With a full-sized car feel, in a compact package, this car was green and economical before it was cool! This cute 1961 Nash for sale was sold with one thought in mind, to sell an economical and well-built car. The Metropolitan took the minimalist approach, which can be seen, only optioned with AM radio and vinyl/cloth interior. Look at the mono-speedometer/ gauge cluster, steel wheels with hub caps and wide whitewall tires! Small, lightweight, and easy to drive, its no wonder that the sales of this car were second in imports, to only Volkswagen. Not only is it easy to drive, but its a blast to drive. Look at this car and picture yourself going to the grocery store on Thursday, the cruise-in car show on Friday, and hitting the beach on Saturday! That dream is just one phone call away! A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. for more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

Prices for the Model A ranged from US$385 for a roadster to US$1400 for the top-of-the-line Town Car. The engine was a water-cooled L-head inline four with a displacement of 201 cu in (3.3 l).[6] This engine provided 40 hp (30 kW; 41 PS).[6] Top speed was around 65 mph (105 km/h). The Model A had a 103.5 in (2,630 mm) wheelbase with a final drive ratio of 3.77:1. The transmission was a conventional unsynchronized three-speed sliding gear manual with a single speed reverse. Previous Fords used controls that had become uncommon to drivers of other makes. The Model As fuel tank was situated in the cowl, between the engine compartments fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. A rear-view mirror was optional. In cooler climates, owners could purchase an aftermarketcast iron unit to place over the exhaust manifold to provide heat to the cab. A small door provided adjustment of the amount of hot air entering the cab. Description:

Only two owners on this cool and rare glass roof Town Coupe. The Marti report shows this Lincoln is the only one made in 1978 with these options. Including: 460-4V V8, C-6 automatic transmission, A/C, 8-track, vinyl roof, Dark Red Velour Comfort Lounge Seats, block heater, and the town coupe package. And as you can see from the dash this was originally a Canadian car. With 96,145 Km on the odometer, that equates to only 59,741 miles. This beauty has been meticulously cared for since day one. Now she is looking for a new home. For 1978, the dashboard was updated for the first time, as the Lincoln Continental adopted a revised version of the Mercury Grand Marquis dashboard. In addition to increasing parts commonality, the update was done to save weight; the plastic-frame Mercury dashboard was lighter than the previous steel-frame version. In a similar move, Lincoln redesigned the rear fender skirts, adopting a version that covered less of the rear wheels. Alongside the optional sliding glass sunroof, a fixed glass moonroof with an interior sunshade was introduced (for the first time since the 1955 Ford Skyliner) To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom.
