This vehicle was kept int eh same family since 1973, and its believed to be almost 100% original, with the only exception being maintenance and wear items, such as belts, hoses, fluids, etc. The owner took great care to ensure the high quality of this survivor was not lost as time went on. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is pleased to present this muscular Nordic Silver 1971 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ. Prior to leaving Pontiac for Chevrolet, Pontiac General Manager John Z. DeLorean himself worked closely with Pontiac design engineers to bring forth the second generation of the GP, which he envisioned as being the Deusenberg of its day: a powerful, luxurious, personal luxury vehicle. When the first of the Gen 2 GPs came out in 1969, they were touted as having the longest hood in the industry, and they sure did! The 1969 Grand Prix was also a car that both buyers and the automotive press liked: in fact, it received Car Life magazines Engineering Excellence Award for 1969, an award which Car Life hadnt presented in either of the previous two model years. From 1969 until 1972, Pontiac offered two versions of this 2nd gen GP: the J, and the more potent, more luxurious SJ, which buyers who opted for RPO Code Y97 got. This sharp Y97 71 Grand Prix SJ is powered by a 455 CID V8, which is backed by a GM TH400 3-speed automatic transmission that sends the power out back to the 3.07:1 gears in the rear end. Its riding on a set of G78-14 BF Goodrich Silverstone tires, much like it was originally specd with, which wrap its PMD Rally II wheels. This 1971 Grand Prix SJ also comes with a complete set of PHS documents, including copies of the build sheet, Pontiac-to-dealer invoice, Dealers Invoice to buyer, original title, original finance contract, and window sticker (as well as the standard PHS information pages). There are also repair and maintenance receipts going back to 2012, when its current owner purchased the car. From what we have been provided, and what we can see, this 71 GP SJ appears to be a true survivor car: unmolested and unrestored, having been very well kept for these last 50+ years. From the build sheets RPO code listing, this car appears to have been a customer-ordered unit. This Grand Prix H/T Coupe was ordered with lower color 13 Silver, Black Vinyl Top and Black Trim. It was built with the following options: C08 Vinyl Top Black; C24 Recessed Wiper; C49 Electric Rear Window Defroster; C60 Air Conditioning (manual); C90 Courtesy/Door Lamps; D10 Arm Rest Ash Tray; D35 Outside Rear View Mirror (body color); D55 Floor Console; D98 Rally Stripe; GX1 3.07 Axle Ratio; JL1 Pedal Trim Plate; JL2 Power Brakes, Front Disc; J50 Power Brakes; L75 Engine - 455 4BB; M40 Auto Trans; N10 Dual Exhaust; N31 Custom Sport Steering Wheel; N33 Tilt Steering Column; N41 Power Steering; N98 Rally II Wheels; PK1 G78X14 Blackwall Tires; U05 Dual Horns; U25 RR Compartment Lamp; U35 Electric Clock; U57 Stereo Tape (8 Track Player); U63 Pushbutton Radio; VK1 Delete Front License Mounting; W63 Rally GA&CK; and Y97 SJ Option Group. Upon closer inspection of the paint and interior, it looks very much the same as it did when the car was built: the Nordic Silver paint is in decent shape, the black vinyl top looks good, and the chrome has survived very well. Inside, the black carpet has been well treated over the years, and the woven cloth inserts in both the front buckets and rear bench looks almost as new. Its very hard to find such well-kept examples of cars (or trucks) from this now very popular era of American auto manufacturing, and especially vehicles that have the provenance that this one has; so, dont let someone else beat you to it!

Description:

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Chevrolet Impala is a full-size sedan built by the Chevrolet division of General Motors introduced for the 1958 model year. Chevrolets most expensive passenger model through 1965 had become the best-selling automobile in the United States, competing against the Ford Galaxie 500 and the Plymouth Fury when full-size models dominated the market. This competition spilled over into various racing venues, including drag racing. This 1964 Chevy Impala 409/400hp is a pristine example of this era. This Impala is an original un-restored car with the numbers matching drive train still intact, with the only exception being a 3.70 gear set replacing the original 4.56 unit. The Impala has been repainted once and it was to the factory color. The odometer currently only shows 77859 miles on it. This car is originally from Oklahoma and doesn’t any signs of rust. All sheet metal is original to the car. The original factory Muncie shifter and high Redline tachometer, an option for the high horsepower 409’s only, is still in the car, with the rest of interior being original to the car. This is a rare car, and productions numbers suggest that less than 1000 were produced. Numbers for this car have been verified and are available upon request. Options include; AM radio, Cloth/Vinyl interior, Seat Belts and Bias Ply Tires. To view this 1964 Chevrolet Impala in greater detail, including an HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Louisville KY Showroom. Description:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. Rough and tough, but still cool and classic, the Toyota land Cruiser holds a special place in the hearts of auto enthusiasts all over the world. Toyota sits in the off-road hall of fame thanks to this vehicle. Toyota rolled out the FJ40 series in 1960 to compete with the likes of Land Rovers, Jeeps, and later the Ford Bronco and Chevrolet K10. The FJ40 was a rugged, two-door, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off-road capabilities, and rather primitive interior treatments. The hard top is removable so open-air cruising is a possibility. FJs came without carpet and with vinyl upholstery, so even if youre out in the mud and in the elements, theyre easy to keep clean. This is a truck you can literally just hose out. The front sports a separated bench style seat, and the rear has jump seats which can be folded aside for more cargo space. Under the hood of this Land Cruiser youll find the 2F 4.2L inline 6-cylinder engine, backed up by a 4-speed manual transmission and a 4x4 transfer case. Stout axle’s front and rear and retro off-road tires will take this thing just about anywhere you want to go. This FJ is clean inside and out. All the underside and frame are rust free, and the body panels painted in an olive-green color that give it a very cool almost military feel. This FJ runs and drives great and is just begging for mud, rocks, and trails! This FJ would make a great weekend warrior or a daily driver, and will put most new 4x4s to shame off the pavement. Description:

Our Detroit branch of Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer you this amazing 1969 Chevrolet Camaro! The 1969 Camaro marked the last model year of the first generations and is arguably the most popular. It featured entirely new, more aggressive looking sheet metal and revised grille. Going away was the coke bottle shape, making room for a flatter, wider looking stance. The look of this Camaro comes off as basic, but this car is far from it. Black paint is hard to get right, and when this car was recently painted, they did a great job at making it really stand out amongst other black cars. The black interior still shows very well, the front seats have been replaced with versatile bucket seats that has bigger bolsters to keep you in place while youre having fun whipping the car around corners. This Camaro is equipped with a 454 CID big-block motor, that has been punched out to a massive 496cid V8! Backing that massive powerplant is a smooth shifting automatic transmission with 3:73 gears out back to keep you moving quickly. The rumble of this car is second to none and will have everyone turning their heads at your local show. Other options on this Camaro include AM/FM radio, CD player, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, and more! This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro can be seen in our Detroit Showroom, or for more detailed information including over 100 HD photos and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff @ 313-982-3100.
