This IROC-Z was painted the original white color in 2013, and it looks amazing. The bumpers and ground effects kit were removed to insure the car was painted the right way to achieve this great finished product. The gray cloth interior features gray vinyl inserts. The interior appears to be all original, and has held up very well, showing minimal signs of wear. Powering this 89’ IROC is the original, unmolested 305 CID TPI (Tuned Port Injected) V8 engine that is backed by the original 4-speed automatic transmission. The third generation Camaro debuted in the fall of 1981 for the 1982 model year. Nearly every part of the third generation was redesigned. The main focus was to drop weight. Chevrolet succeeded in that goal shedding over 500 pounds from the previous model. The IROC package was introduced in 1985, it was an option available off the standard Z28 package. IROC or International Race Of Challengers comes from a best of the best style racing series in which top drivers from all walks of racing (NASCAR, Indy, Formula One, etc.) competed against one another for the title of best driver in the world. The IROC-Z package included a number of upgrades: 16 X 8 aluminum/alloy wheels with Z-rated Goodyear Gatorback tires, a lower ride height featuring upgraded front struts, Delco-Bilstein rear shock absorbers and increased spring rates, a Wonderbar or front frame-rail stiffener, and a larger rear stabilizer bar. Cosmetically the IROC-Z received a new grill, body colored ground effects, and the iconic IROC-Z decals on each door. The IROC package included a G92 performance axle as well. The odometer on this Camaro IROC-Z reads 40,758, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Convertible include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Manual Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Cloth Interior with Vinyl Inserts, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Power Windows, Power Driver’s Seat, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Only 3,940 IROC-Z convertibles were produced in 1989. This unmolested IROC drop top has been painted and is ready to shine at your local car show or cruise. Description:

This 1992 GMC Typhoon deserves a closer look! Now featured in our Denver showroom is a very cool example of what the Typhoons are capable of. When the typhoon came out in the early 90’s it gained a lot of attention with its Turbo’d V6 and all wheel drive platform. The 4.3L V6 under the hood was pumping out a whopping 280 horsepower from the factory and with the all-wheel drive capabilities was able to hook and go! This 1992 Typhoon though is definitely not stock; the 4.3L block is still under the hood but the internals have since been changed to a forged rotating assembly including Eagle rods, 8:5.1 JE pistons, Comp Cams 412 camshaft with .500 lift at 234/234 @ 114 degrees of separation. 1.5 self aligning roller rocks, matched valve spring, and all dressed up with ARP hardware. The original heads were changed out for a set of 1996 “772 casting” Vortec heads machined and modified to mate to the factory lower intake for better flow and all of this was done for the icing on the cake… the stock turbo was changed out for the larger PTE 51 turbo! This set up is significantly more power than the way it came stock and it is easy to tell while driving. Running and conservative 18 lbs. of boost on the current tune this Typhoon can pull mid twelve second quarter mile times at sea-level while still being very much streetable. The 4L80E transmission provides crisp shifts in between gears and comes equipped with a 2800 rpm lock up stall converter purchased through TCS and the transmission is controlled via TCI EZ ECU with programmable parameters. The interior has been kept mostly stock on this truck with exception to the gauge cluster on the A-pillar and the Premier aftermarket radio installed. Driving this Typhoon is an absolute blast! It handles very well and seems to have endless amounts of power. If you are looking for a great street-strip vehicle or just something to make your commute more fun this 1992 GMC Typhoon is an excellent option! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1992 GMC Typhoon in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this sweet 1996 Pontiac Trans Am WS-6 for sale here in our Las Vegas Showroom. The body has curvy and seductive lines like a classic Pontiac. Stance is low and daring, European but with American muscle. A view from the nose can only be described as menacing. There is no doubt this sexy beast wants you to know it is WS6 Performance Package, blazingly displayed in a red and gold emblem. Yes, you’re looking at a car that can do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of about 160mph and that’s stock – from 20 years ago! The mighty LT1 5.7 Liter 350 Cubic Inch V8 with new this year less restrictive exhaust system incorporating duel cats instead of the previous single canister. With the Pontiac Only Ram Air option horsepower muscled out another 20 horses to a venomous 305 HP and 335 pounds of torque, proud numbers even in today’s environment. The 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission shifts and handles the performance as it should. The only way to get the Ram Air engine was to order the Ram Air WS6 Performance and Handling Package, a $4,000 increase over the Firebird price. Both of these names were synonyms with Pontiac Performance from years past but not recently used. The WS6 meant stiffer suspension, steering and four wheel disc brakes that made the Trans Ams of the 70’s America’s best handling car of its time. It’s also the first year an F-body was fitted with 17” rims. This 1996 Pontiac Trans Am WS-6 is equipped with: Air bags, anti lock brakes, AM/FM and CD player stereo with equalizer, power seats, power door locks, power windows, tilt wheel, keyless entry, anti-theft system, Air Conditioning, Radial Tires, Cruise Control, and T-TOPS! The fourth generation of the Thunderbird which was designed as a large personal luxury car was produced from 1964 through the 1966 model year. This 1966 Thunderbird is a very original display of the classic Ford model retaining the correct drive train as well as the original factory interior that looks as it did back in the day it was built. The original power train in this beauty is the 390 cubic inch V8 engine which was rebuilt and has less than 200 miles backed up by the 3 speed automatic transmission which still shifts smoothly throughout all of the gears regardless if you are on a leisurely cruise or hammering on the gas using the big V8’s full potential. This 1966 Thunderbird convertible has a beautiful look with the shine of the bright red gloss of the exterior that is perfectly matched with the white leather interior. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Houston showroom is a 1966 Ford Thunderbird. Painted in its original Arcadian blue with black interior and a black vinyl Landau roof with correct Thunderbird hubcaps. Power comes from a 390 cubic inch V8 and mated to a 3-speed automatic. The odometer is showing only 15,960 miles and theyre original! The interior of the car reflects its care over the years as she shows no tears or rips on the seats or headliners. Inside and out the car shows incredible well and will definitely turn some heads. The car was purchased new in 1966 and then stored in a covered garage while yearly maintenance was performed. The 390 was a great engine for the Thunderbird. It produces 315 horsepower and 427 lbs/ft of torque. More than enough to get this bird moving. 1966 was the last year for the fourth generation Thunderbird. The next generation would be a major redesign and featured four doors for the first time. Some will say that the 66 would be that last of the traditional Thunderbird making it much more sought after than the next generations. Description:

This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1976 was a year for changes in many things, the ABA is no longer, casinos are legal in Atlantic City NJ, and the Vietcong was abolished. The Corvette on the other hand went the other way with the if isn’t broke don’t fix it attitude and would prove to be a good theory with sales topping 46000 units but only 2000 of those equipped with a 4 speed. This 76 is one of those highly sought after M21’s that are so hard to find. The white paint shines nicely showing off the body which appears to be in excellent shape. Under the hood is the original L48 engine that has been meticulously maintained having its routine maintenance done religiously. The radiator was replaced a couple years ago keeping this small block nice and cool. Speaking of cool, the AC compressor was replaced less than a year ago so no worries on those hot days. Unfortunately you couldn’t get a convertible in 76 but with the T Top option you get the best of both worlds. The T Tops in this one are in excellent shape with the seals locking down nice and tight. The red interior looks great and is in excellent condition considering it is 40 years old. The seat cushions still have plenty life left as they do not slouch a bit. With the C3 market seeing a slight gain in pricing now is probably the best time to buy one before they start skyrocketing to where they were before. Options on this 1976 Chevrolet Corvette include ; AM/FM, AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt, T Tops, Seat Belts and Radial Tires on Aluminum Wheels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this awesome, rare, and numbers-matching 1987 Chevrolet El Camino SS Choo-Choo! These Choo-Choo El Caminos are highly desirable and hard to come by. The original El Camino SS was produced by Choo-Choo Customs for GM from mid-1983 until the El Camino series was discontinued at the end of 1987. In addition to the aerodynamic nose treatment that was the primary styling feature of all El Camino SSs, all vehicles received graphics on the fascia, doors and tailgate. All Choo-Choo Customs El Camino SSs were final assembled at Choo-Choo Customs, Incs., headquarters in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Choo-Choo Customs, Inc., El Camino SS model was available through any Chevrolet dealership from 1983 through 1987. The Choo-Choo SS was an appearance package only. Unlike earlier Chevrolet Super Sport models, no performance enhancements were made to the production Choo-Choo SS models. This 1987 is one of only 861 that were manufactured during the final year of the Choo-Choo Customs’ production run of El Caminos, and it is still in great shape, with what is believed to be only 64000 original miles. Starting with the clean white exterior and its black graphics, to its nearly new Cooper Cobra radials wrapped around the 15” Rallye wheels with simulated chrome knock-off spinner, this is one sporty looking truck. Moving inside, one finds the maroon cloth interior to be in great shape, with the very functional split bench seat and carpeting looking barely used. Its JVC AM/FM/CD head unit with detachable face plate puts out sound that is far better than what it had from the factory radio in 1987. Get in, get comfortable, fire up the 4BBL-equipped 305 CID V8, slide it into drive, and head out. The exhaust has a nice rumble through the new stainless-steel exhaust, and the transmission shifts smoothly as you ease down the road in style. You’ll certainly get lots of admiring glances while you’re driving this last-of-breed Choo-Choo El Caminos! Options on this 1987 Chevrolet El Camino SS Choo-Choo include A/C, AM/FM/CD Radio, Cloth Interior, Cruise Control, Rallye Wheels with beauty rings, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Windows, Seat Belts, and Tilt Wheel. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present this 1979 Oldsmobile Toronado for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This 1979 Oldsmobile Toronado has had only two owners and the odometer shows 31,201 actual miles. Complete with all of the luxury features of the day, this grand two door cruiser arrives in style in gold with a crisp gold velour interior. The power antenna for the AM/FM cassette audio system has been recently replaced, as has the air conditioner compressor. This car represents the third generation Toronado and was substantially downsized compared to its predecessor, losing nearly 1,000 lb (450 kg) and more than 20 in (510 mm) in length. Reflecting its 206 in (5,200 mm) length and 114 in (2,900 mm) wheelbase, it came equipped with the smaller Oldsmobile 350 cu in (5.7 L) V8. The engine was rated at 170 HP/270 lb.ft. torque giving it a top speed of over 110 mph (175 km/h) and a 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) acceleration time of 9.4 seconds. This was considered one of the faster times for that era. The three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission was standard equipment. Independent rear suspension (designed by Cadillac engineers) was adopted for the new car, which helped to increase usable rear-seat and trunk space in the smaller body, as well as improved handling over previous Toronados with no sacrifice in ride quality. This Toronado, along with its Riviera and Eldorado cousins, were the last body-on-frame, front wheel drive cars with longitudinally mounted V8 engines. To view this fine example of the breed, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1965 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. Showing 87,990 undocumented miles on the odometer, this big beautiful cruiser is a head-turner that needs a little love to be stunning. For 1965, the General Motors B bodies were dramatically restyled. Swooping rooflines, rakish fender lines and the Coke bottle profile contributed to making one of the most popular body styles ever produced. The Bonneville got the new styling, with plenty of bright trim on the lower body sides and on the rear deck. Inside, new upholstery and instrumentation were featured. The Pontiac Bonneville Convertible for sale here, presented in a very nice white exterior and red interior, comes with the 389 cubic inch V8, the second one in the car after the first was replaced in the 1960s. The suspension and brakes were rebuilt in 2009. Items needing attention are the radio, heater, odometer and speedometer, none of which are currently functional. The power convertible top goes down just fine but requires some manual assistance to put back up. Description:

Listed for sale in our Tampa showroom is this sharp 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass or Hurst/Olds. This original survivor with only 71,500 miles is in great shape and drives very smoothly. The car has tons of tread left on the tires, superb interior, and even the gold pin striping is in like-new condition. A lot of work has been done to this car to keep it properly maintained over the years. Now called simply the Hurst/Olds, appeared in 1979, based on the Cutlass Calais coupe. It still has the original L34, Oldsmobiles 5.7 L (350 in³) V8 engine. This car starts and drives great. The Hurst Dual Gate shifter that was built standard really sets this Olds apart from other Cutlass models on the market. The 1979 was the first H/O to be built entirely by Oldsmobile Division, it was also the first H/O that did not offer a 455 engine. It was, however, the only GM G-body to offer a 350 V8. It was also the first W-30 to come with the Olds 350 and not the Olds 455. The rarity of this car will surly make it a great add to any collection. White and black were the color choices available for the H/O in ‘79. This car has the White and Gold paint scheme with the Tan interior. Gold paint covers the hood, most of the top, and the very rear of the trunk. The aluminum wheels were also painted gold, along with the grille. This H/O was built by Oldsmobile at the Lansing plant. This car has almost perfect interior even down to the carpeted floor. The white paint still shines like it was freshly painted and gold accents really set off the paint on this unique car. This car will definitely be a great hit at the next car show! To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass (Hurst/Olds), please visit GatewayClassicCars.com.
