Attention Corvette collectors/lovers, here you have the chance to get one fine example of a 1963 Chevy Vette. This very low production roadster has spent its entire life in the sunny and dry southwest. Today we are excited that the C2 found its way into our South Florida showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to list this two of a kind 1963 Corvette Custom Split Window Coupe known as The Outer Limits This thing was built and restyled by Farhner custom shop of Kansas City, MO from a brand new factory split window coupe that had less than 100 miles on it and completed in late 1963. The wheel wells were radiused and the fender tops were heightened and finned outward. Shaved door handles were replaced with electrical solenoids. Side pipes were added along with a custom screw gear mechanism to open the hood for show car displays. It was featured in Rod and Custom magazine. Paint is White Pearl with White leather interior with contrasting Red carpet and an asymmetrical modified dash. A shooting star theme can be seen on the headliner and 5-star custom wheels, This car was restored in the 1970s and upon completion shown at the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals. The under car and chassis are absolute jewelry!!! Thousands of dollars were spent on custom chrome plating. Motor is a high performance V8 that runs very strong backed-up by a Muncie 4 speed and 3.36 posi-traction rear end. Documented with a detailed build sheet and old display photos. Build cost would surely exceed 200 thousand dollars in todays money. Outer Limits was sold to Robert and Margie Petersen of the Peterson Museum where it was displayed for many years becoming a Los Angeles icon. Fresh out of the museum circuit, this car has been recently inspected and serviced by a renown Corvette L.A. area Corvette specialist. Production date of March 15th, 1963 and delivered new by Ed Roberts Chevrolet in Bonner Springs, KS (dealer code 711 in zone 5) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR). This car is kind of ugly BUT a very Kool kind-of-ugly!! Old customs seldom die as seen with many other Barris inspired cars of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. This car is not intended for anyone wanting to drive or fiddle with a Corvette on weekends. Neither is it intended for anyone wanting a restored 100-point piece of Bloomington or NCRS jewelry. It is intended for the passionate automotive connoisseur or historian who can appreciate historically significant customs from the 1950s and 1960s. Dont let this piece of history slip away from you! Description:

This 1999 Shelby Series 1 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The name Shelby has been associated with unbelievable street machines since the early sixties. From his original AC Cobra to his work with the Dodge Viper team the man had done work with all three of the big American brands. The only thing he had not done was build a car from the ground up which beginning in 1997 that would all change. The Series one was the only car produced by Shelby from a clean slate. From the aluminum chassis to the curvaceous lines of the body the Series 1 was all Shelby. The 249 production cars made were all titled as 1999’s though there were others produced as component cars the original production cars are the ones that are true collectors. This beauty has lived a pampered life with less than 2700 miles on the odometer this Series 1 is ready to be put into another collection. The carbon fiber body is in excellent condition, showing no signs of abuse or neglect, she truly is a remarkable example. The silver paint was chosen by Shelby as he felt any other color would take away from the cars lines. The only option available was a set of racing stripes in multiple colors making this all silver one a rare find. The huge opening in the hood is reminiscing of the classic 60’s Leman racers that Carrol had beat with his GT40. The vents in the side have a C3 Corvette feel to them with the rear end having its own unique look. Under that hood is a GM based 4.0 V8 putting out 320HP. Mated to a ZF 6 speed transmission the car is all business. Inside this Series 1 is a seat of Black leather buckets with Carroll Shelby’s signature stitched in the back. With multiple Shelby checkered Snake eyes placed here and there you are reminded that this is what Shelby always wanted his Cobra to be. The fact they only made 249 of these cars is truly amazing. With this one though having the stripe delete option it truly is like finding a needle in a haystack. AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Brakes, Manual Convertible Top, Power Steering, Leather Interior, Power Windows, Tilt Steering Wheel, Aluminum Alloy Wheels with Radial tires. For more information on this 1999 Shelby Series 1, please call the Louisville showroom at (812) 294-1555 or email us at louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. To see more of it, go to our website: www.GatewayClassicCars.com, where youll see over 100 HD photos and an HD video of it in operation. Alternatively, if you want to see it in person, come to our Louisville Showroom, located at 13576 Blue Lick Rd, Memphis, IN 47143. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LOU/1921/1999-Shelby-Series-1-Convertible

Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This is one bad machine! Power comes from a Super Charged 416 cubic inch LS3 making a whopping 756 horsepower! The engine is from Wegner Motorsports and features a Callies forged rotating assembly, LSA cylinder heads, TPIS 102mm throttle body, custom camshaft to work with the blower, 2.9 Whipple blower with air to water sandwich intercooler, external heat exchanger and a hidden Bosch pump. Adding some flare to this awesome engine is a set of Wegner billet valve covers painted Charcoal Gray to match the giant blower. It is truly amazing how driver friendly these high horsepower cars are today. If you wanted 700+ horsepower from a big block from the 60s, you would be running high compression, lots of fuel and a camshaft that would hate life under 4,000 RPM. This work of art starts on the first try, runs on pump gas and is a breeze to drive. It makes power right off idle. This beautiful power plant is worthless without a transmission built to handle the power. This transmission is ready for all 756 horsepower. 4L80E 4 speed automatic with overdrive, performance torque converter with lock up, a large external transmission cooler with a fan and a slick operating push button shifter from Performance Drivetrain Solutions. Aft of the transmission is a PST 3.5 aluminum driveshaft and back to a custom 12 bolt with 3.30 gears, upgraded 35 spline axles, 1/2 wheel studs and an Eaton limited slip. Making sure that everything is communicating with each other there are monitoring sensors for all the engine and transmission functions. There is also a USB connection for laptop tuning and gauge display. The suspension powder coated NOS F41 components and includes powder coated tubular front control arms, powder coated and boxed rear control arms and Viking Warrior double adjustable coil overs for the front and rear. Brakes are Wilwood 6 piston calipers up front and 4 piston calipers for the rear. Wheels are Billet Specialties 18x9 and 18x10 with Mickey Thompson drag radials out back. The restoration was a full frame off rotisserie and included a full new glass kit, restored original GM chrome and stainless, complete new factory wiring harness, NOS T3 headlights, NOS taillights and marker lights, all GM brackets, hinges and latches were blasted and powder coated. After a Walnut shell media blasting, the car was blocked numerous times and painted in a base coat/clear coat custom Silver paint finished off with 5 coats of clear. Inside is just as stunning as the rest of the build. Custom leather front and rear seats start things off. Legendary front and rear panels, custom package tray and Ultra leather for headliner and sail panels. The build was completed in July of 2016 and has covered a modest 488 miles. For more information on this show stopper, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL 427 R-Code for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this exceptional 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Fastback coupe featured in Raven Black with Red interior. This is a rare and authentic R-Code car which refers to the 427CI, 425HP Dual-Quad V8 motor. The 427 R0Code motor was offered as an option in the big Galaxie line to homologate it for NASCAR competition along with the mandatory Toploader 4-Speed gearbox. This icon of early 60s American muscle was meticulously restored by marque expert Don Allen with all Ford NOS stock components. It has covered very few miles since completion. Features on this car include; Correct markings throughout, fully detailed undercarriage, Perma-Tuned transistor ignition, 3.50 rear axle, Bucket seats with center console, Heat & Defrost with instruction tags, Fender skirts, Full-size spinner wheel covers, and Whitewall tires. In 2008, this virtually flawless 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL R-code received the Antique Automobile Club of Americas Grand National Award scoring 100 of 100 points. This awesome automobile came from the Total Performance Program launched by Ford in 1961 to establish it as a world power in motorsports. In 1963, the ensuing engine development program produced one of the most powerful production engines ever built: the R-code 427 CI FE big-block V-8 first seen in the full-size SportsRoof fastback 1963 Galaxie. Based on the Ford-Edsel (FE) block introduced in 1958, the R-code was specifically designed for homologation in NASCAR and would later see use in Shelbys big-block Cobras and the Ford GT40. Underrated at 425 HP at 6,000 RPM, its reinforced block featured cross-drilled 4-bolt mains and incorporated a forged steel crank and heavy-duty connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, 11.5:1 compression, a high-lift, high-duration solid-lifter camshaft, an aluminum high-rise intake manifold with dual inline Holley carburetors fed by high-flow 3/8-inch fuel lines, Perma-Tuned transistor ignition and thin wall header-style exhaust manifolds. Equipped with the requisite Toploader 4-speed manual transmission and 3.50:1 rear end, the R-code Galaxie 500XL was powerful and luxurious, and almost unbeatable in NASCAR competition, dominating the circuit with Manufacturers Championships in 1963 and 1964. This Don Allen-restored 1964 Galaxie 500XL is an outstanding example of the flagship R-code finished in the correct factory color combination of Raven Black with a contrasting red interior featuring bucket seats, a center console, AM/FM radio and in-dash clock. Completed with white-stripe tires, full-size spinner wheel covers and fender skirts, it shows correct markings throughout and is well detailed, including the undercarriage.

Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1989 Cadillac Eldorado. This clean car fax two owner car has actual mileage and feels very new. Upscale luxury for Cadillac in 1988 was met with an extensive restyle, and sales nearly doubled from the previous year, up to 33,210. While the wheelbase, doors, roof, and glass remained relatively unchanged, new body panels gave the 1988 model a more identifiable Eldorado appearance. Underneath the restyled hood was Cadillacs new 155 horsepower 4.5 liter V8. A comprehensive anti-lock braking system, developed by Teves, was newly available. Longer front fenders held bladed tips, and a new grille above the revamped front bumper. In back, new three-sided tail lamps appeared along with a new bumper and trunk lid. Bladed 14 aluminum wheels remained standard, while an optional 15 snowflake-pattern alloy wheel was included with the Touring Suspension option. The interior held wider front seat headrests and swing-away door pull handles. New upholstery patterns, along with shoulder belts for outboard rear-seat passengers, appeared for both base and Biarritz models, with the latter bringing back the tufted-button design - last seen in the 1985 Eldorado Biarritz. A new vinyl roof option, covering the full roof top, featured a band of body color above the side door and windows - similar to the style used until 1978. This replaced the cabriolet roof option, which covered the rear half of the roof, introduced just a year earlier. This 1988 restyle would be the last, until the model was replaced by an all-new Eldorado for 1992. With such big changes for Eldorado just a year earlier, 1989 saw little that was new. The optional automatic rearview mirror went from an electrically operated mechanical tilting mechanism to the new electrochromic style, using a clear fluid filled between the mirror and a thin sheet of glass, which tints upon activation. A new exterior color, White Diamond, brought the color choices up to 18. Gone were the 14-inch wheels, as the previously optional 15-inch snowflake-style aluminum wheel, introduced last year, was made standard for the base Eldorado. A compact disc player, available only with the Delco Bose Gold Series music system, was a new option this year, as was reversible floor mats, and gold-plated ornamentation Cadillac grille and trunk scripts, sail panel ornaments, deck lid engine plaque, trunk lock cover, tail lamp emblems, and available wire wheel cover wreath and crest. New standard items include an express-down module for the drivers window, electronic oil-life indicator, a more powerful Delco Freedom II battery, a revised factory warranty, and GMs PASS Passive Automotive Security System KEY theft-deterrent system, which activated the fuel system based upon a coded pellet within the ignition key. Previously optional items that were now added as standard equipment included a cassette player with graphic equalizer, remote fuel filler door release, and a front license plate mounting. Options include: AC, Cassette player, power brakes, power seats, wipers, reverse lights, horn, cruise control, hub caps, power steering, seat belts, power locks, tilt wheel, radial tires, power windows, alarm system, and leather interior. Description:

Our Louisville KY Showroom is proud to present this 1987 Ford Mustang LX hatchback. The Fox Body’s have a loyal following, and are beginning to increase in value, as it is getting harder to find pristine examples of these great pony cars. This entry level White LX Hatch Mustang has been a Tennessee car its entire life. This will make a great 1st car for that 16 year old who just got their license. Down the road if the young driver decides to go for more power, V8 swaps don’t get much easier than this, or maybe the addition of a turbo to the 2.3 engine will turn it into a little beast to be reckoned with. It still sports the original factory paint, though it has been touched up in a few places. This little pony has a clean car fax. The red interior looks good with no rips or tears in it. Under the hood you will find the original gas sipping 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine. The AOD 4-speed automatic makes this an easy car for anybody to drive. The wheels are 15 inch factory aluminum turbines, usually found on the GT’s of this era. Options for this Mustang LX Hatchback include; air conditioning, AM/FM radio with Cassette, power windows, cruise control, lumbar support, power brakes, power steering, power locks, and seat belts. To view this 1987 Ford LX Hatchback Mustang in greater detail, including a HD video, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com at our Louisville KY showroom. Description:

For 1993, the Fleetwood name (and exterior) was switched from the DeVille's front wheel drive C-body to the newly revised rear wheel drive D-body that the Cadillac Brougham had used previously. It was one of the first American front wheel drive vehicles to be returned to rear-wheel drive. At 225 inches (5,700 mm) overall, the Fleetwood was the longest production car made in the United States.[14] All Fleetwoods except for the commercial chassis had standard antilock brakes, traction control, and dual front airbags. In 1994, Cadillac used the Corvette-derived LT1[15] 350 cu in (5.7 L) engine to make 260 horsepower (190 kW) along with the new 4L60E automatic transmission.[13] Between 1993 and 1996, the Fleetwood commercial chassis was used instead of the DeVille for most funeral coaches and limousines produced during these years. The DeVille was used again in 1997, after production of the Fleetwood ceased. After 1996, the Cadillac Fleetwood was retired by General Motors along with all other rear-wheel drive sedans and the assembly plant was converted to truck production for the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe because of the increasing demand for SUVs.[14]

Packages

The Brougham option package included a full vinyl top, C-pillar badging, specific seat design with six-way driver's seat memory and heated and three-position lumbar front seats, instrument panel badging and rear seat storage armrest.

The 7,000 lb (3,200 kg) trailer towing package was made available 1993, a return to production sedan since the 1971–1976 Cadillac Sixty Special[citation needed]. The RPO V4P package included heavy duty cooling (RPO V08, which consisted of a seven-blade mechanical primary fan, a heavy-duty electrical secondary fan, and an extra capacity radiator), RPO FE2 Suspension System Ride Handling, HD 4L60 transmission, RPO KC4 Cooling System Engine Oil, RPO KD1 Cooling System Transmission Oil, RPO KG9 140 amp alternator, and RPO GT4 3.73 gears with an 8.5-inch ring gear. In 1994–1996, the V4P package was revised with RPO GU6 3.42 gears with the new more powerful RPO LT1 260 hp (194 kW) V8, and HD 4L60E transmission with revised accumulators to shift smoother with the shorter rear axle gearing.
