Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Custom! The iconic FOUR-FOUR-TWO has always meant something, and still does! It started as 4 barrel carburetor, and dual exhaust. Some enthusiasts will say the 2 stands for a limited-slip differential. Either way, we approve and are fans! This Cutlass does not have the original order sheet to see if it was ordered with the 442 package or not, but the build stands on its own. Standing tall and independent this car is not trying to compare itself to anything. Its a very unique build through and through with some of the best parts put to great use! The seller reports 6 coats of black followed by 6 coats of clear after the body was sanded and worked. Under the hood is a Merlin 540 cubic inch BIG block that has plenty of goodies cranking out an estimated 725 horsepower! Sitting on the intake fueling this monster are twin 650cfm Edelbrock carbs that peak out through an oval cut in the hood. The engine was purchased new in 2000 and upgraded in 2010. The transmission is a non-syncrhonized Jerrico drag race transmission - shes strong! The rear end is a Ford 9 with a Detroit Locker spinning a 3.50 gear. Its tough to find a weak link in the drive train! The exhaust is hearty and announces your presence. They are ‘1968 steel packs and the sound is unrivaled! The seller describes the car as a frame-off restomod and has a pretty extensive build sheet available. Looking inside and out the car is appears very little expense was spared, and estimated the building starts in the six figures. The hurst shifter is SO at home in the Cutlass. Most notably of all in the interior is a Hurst pistol grip shift knob borrow from the Mopar family. Hey - thats why its a restomod! This car may not win an originality contest, but it will win the smile contest! Note to buyer - verifying an original 442 can be difficult. The VIN decodes as a V8 Cutlass Coupe. This 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 is offered by the St. Louis sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website. Our listing all include 100+ HD photos and a detailed video! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Fiat 850 Spider! Pushing into the mid-60s Fiat was looking to replace their aging 600 model. The design team set to work and the 850 was born. Offered in two versions at first, the normale and super. Variants would follow such as: Special, Familiare, Coupé, and the Spider. What we have here is the ladder. As you walk around this little Fiat you will quickly notice it is very clean. Understandable considering it has been stored in a sealed bubble. This car also only has 11k miles on the odometer and is believed to be original. Even the title supports the claim. The Fly Yellow paint looks great with a nice luster. The black vinyl interior hardly looks used and certainly complements the tone of the car. This car has been subjected to a massive 3+ year restoration and modification. This 850 was converted from a convertible to a roadster; top and wipers were removed. Welding and filling used to shut tonneau and panel gaps. Original motor was removed and higher powered 1050cc motor was added form the Fiat 127 series. Transmission was removed is now a 4-speed semi-automatic “Idromatic” with torque converter. Radiator was relocated to the front and steel wheels replaced with Wider alloys. During this time all components were removed and all body panels were “dip-stripped” down to bare metal. Panels were reassembled, adjusted and repaired where necessary. No accidental damage was discovered. Other items replaced were: springs and shocks, hubs, brake system, fuel system, fluid lines, cooking system, wiring harness, windshield, steering wheel and interior panels, headlight, parking lights and taillights units. Also new rubber seals, gaskets, oil seals, bushings, bearings, boots, belts, cables, brackets, battery, voltage regulator, etc. For the paint it was primed, undercoated, and sealed, painted with multiple coats of bright Fly Yellow Enamel. All work completed by LRC Motorcars, Inc. out of Louisville, KY with a total cost over $100k. Current owner has all restoration receipts. Current owner has had her for over 30 years, acquired from a private owner. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! This is one of the nicest, if not thee nicest Fiat we have had folks, don’t miss your chance on this awesome car! Options on this Fiat are: Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Alloy Wheels and Radial Tires. This 1967 Fiat 850 Spider is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette coupe. This beautiful coupe has a timeless color combination of Tuxedo Black over Red complimented with red line tires and side exhaust! Power comes from a numbers matching 300 horsepower 327 and is backed up by a 2 speed automatic transmission. Equipment is plentiful and includes Power four wheel disc brakes, side exhaust, Aluminum wheels, Power steering, A/C, Shoulder belts, Leather seats, AM/FM radio, Headrest and Power windows. Theres no question that this is a very well equipped Corvette and is also quite rare painted in Tuxedo Black as Tuxedo Black was the least produced color for 1967. Mileage on the odometer is showing 65,764. We have marked the mileage as unknown due to lack of documentation but shows as if it is original to the car. This is an older restoration that still shows well and would be a great cruiser as is or an easy one to take to the next level and attend some NCRS meets for some judging. The 1967 Corvette is one of the greats as it is the last year of the mid year Corvettes and the last of the original Sting Ray. The mid year Corvettes went through a lot of transformations from 1963 to 1967 including a multitude of engines, the introduction of disc brakes and the big block in 1965, mild aesthetic changes with hoods and louvers and some colors specific to certain years. Some say that 1967 was the best and usually is when considered the last year of any generation as all tweaks for improvement have been made and refined. For more information on this eye catching 1967 Chevrolet Corvette, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
