Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to present this colorful and characterful 1933 Ford Pickup with 1960 Cheesbourg Enterprise Tag-A-Long (trailer) for sale on consignment with our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Not much can beat a flashy, custom hot rod when youre looking for a good time on four wheels and thats exactly what you get here. This Purple 33 Ford, nicknamed “Grape Nutz by the owner/builder, is a fascinating to look at and even better to drive! The narrowed and boxed frame of the truck was lowered around 8 and the front axel was dropped to give the low body look. The truck bed was also shortened and modified to tip up for access to the gas tank and battery. Fat Hoosier Pro Street rear tires over Weld racing wheels look right at home and the “flame job on both doors is a classic touch on this street rod. The trailer (must be sold with the vehicle) is one of 50 manufactured by Bill Cheesbourg who was a race car driver from Tuscon, Arizona and used trailers to pull behind his Corvettes. It has been modified with a hard cover, paint matching the body, custom pinstriping and adding a rear bumper. Under the custom half-hood on this sweet 33 is a 400 CID Chevrolet small block paired to a 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, turning the rear wheels through a Ford 8 rear end geared 3.0. Chrome components galore help spruce up the look and a purple painted engine block matches the rest of the truck. Exhaust headers feeding dual exiting stainless steel pipes give this 33 Ford the soundtrack it deserves. Hop inside Grape Nutz and youll be pleased to see nice Gray leather seating with safety belts, refurbished dash with AutoMeter gauges and professional wiring by Southwest Custom Trucks hidden from sight. The door handles and window levers are chrome coated and turn signals have been added. What a cool build! Theres more to share with any interested party on this 1933 Ford Pickup with trailer and this one is ready for its next owner to enjoy it, hopefully for many years to come. Description:

For sale is a 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible located in our Indianapolis showroom. This ’64 Pontiac GTO is powered by a 389 Cubic inch tri-power V8 engine backed by a 4 Speed manual transmission. Options on this 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible include: AM Radio, Convertible Top (Auto), Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Radial Tires. In 1964 Pontiac made available the GTO package to their Tempest model. The 1964 GTO was the only year where the dual headlamps were side by side. It was changed into the popular stacked headlights in 1965. Pontiac marketed the GTO as, ”Not everyone’s cup of Tea.” It was not made for the masses as it was intended to be, “A piece of performance machinery.” It most certainly is. This GTO package has the optional 389 cubic inch V8 engine with the tri-power. The 3 carburetors 2-barrel system gave this GTO an additional 23 horsepower over the standard single carburetor 4-barrel. The GTO suspension came with heavy duty springs, shocks and a stabilizer bar making spirted drives possible. This 1964 Pontiac GTO convertible has been registered and documentation from the Pontiac Historical Services. It comes with the build sheet and option codes. This GTO was a frame off restoration and brought back to its original glory. The GTO comes with a 4-speed manual transmission outfitted with a Hurst Shifter. The gray exterior is complemented well with the eye popping red interior. This GTO has been a well maintained and won’t be here for long. This 1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible for sale is located in our Indianapolis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including a High Def video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 at the Milwaukee Showroom. While the Mustang has made its way among the affordable sports car in the Ford lineup, there are a few variations that standout as being special and are better at retaining high value. The Boss 351 was only made for a short period in time to only make 1806 ever produced making this beauty an absolute rarity to being with. This car has been fairly untouched as well being in very good survivor condition making it a prime example of how this car came back in the day. This numbers matching beauty comes with a 351 cubic inch V8 under the hood which is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission which has only seen 46,000 miles along with most everything else on the car. The only thing that isnt original to the car is the period correct Cobra in-dash CB radio. The tires on this car are also not original as they date back to 1975. The paint, interior, and even the spare tire has been left alone on this gorgeous machine. The Mustang was originally delivered to Product Management of Ford Corporate where it shortly after met one owner for 6 months, followed by its current owner since 1972. This car comes well optioned with power steering, sport deck rear seat, power rear window defroster, Magnum 500 wheels, and Intermittent windshield wipers. It is also worth nothing that this is only 1 of 5 Mustangs that came in this Trim, paint, and body combo which just adds to the rarity that this pony car brings to the table. For anyone who wants to find a beautiful example of a rare car this should not be passed up because chances are that you wont get the opportunity twice. This 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Gateway Classic Cars Indianapolis is proud to present this stunning 1940 Ford Resto mod Business Coupe! Every now and then one comes along with that extra bit of style and panache, and this one is it! Red ghost flames caress the familiar front fenders of this glossy black beauty, complimented by crisp chrome with its own lipstick red detail! Hidden in the hood brightwork is the ‘secret handle to open the front bonnet to reveal a fresh, powerful Chevy 350 V8 guided by a tough-as-nails TH-200-4R transmission, allowing the engines 4th gear to rotate at lower RPM than the original three-speed, saving gas and engine wear! This slightly lowered for cool appeal (but not slammed) machine has been updated with power steering, power disc brakes, all new wiring harnesses, ice-cold air-conditioning by Vintage Air, Budnick Mags, new Rack and Pinion Steering, upgraded rear end and a sharper than sharp two-tone, Red on White leather interior, including seats, headliner and door panels. The dash is crisp and elegant, with its, old-style ‘tac and pin striping, chrome and aluminum appointments, and a serious tachometer for when you are doing more than the speed limit allows! The steering wheel alone, is a piece of art- A spectacular Art-Deco lacquer with reduced ribbed grips and a ‘V-8 etched into the horn button housing-try not to just sit and stare at it when you get in-it is truly sublime! Even the electric wipers work! But that isnt all -this has the most important feature that all serious collectors want-this bucket is steel! Front to back, chrome bumper to gleaming bumper, the burly front fenders, up over the hood and down the graceful slope of the rear deck lid and door to door- ALL CLEAN STRONG STEEL! You wont have to worry about tucking this bad-boy away for those chilly gray months either, there is a battery disconnect hidden under the front seat! This example is available for viewing exclusively at the Indianapolis showroom, housing a stunning array of muscle, exotic, classic and antique motor cars!

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to show off this 1970 Chevrolet Corvette LT1! It was 1970, the year when monster big-blocks arrived from GM, so it took something very special to attract respect if you wanted the nimble prowess of a small block. Chevrolet did just that in RPO LT1 Corvettes like the one offered here. The LT1 was the latest iteration of the venerated small-block V-8 that had shown up in 1955, and this 350 CI powerplant would go down in history as one of the most desirable packages to own. In 1970 only, the engine received a factory rating of 370 HP and 380 lb-ft of torque, due in large part to 11:1 compression, a large 780-Cfm Holley carb, a solid-lifter cam outfit, and transistorized ignition. The internals was all heavy-duty, with a forged crank and 4-bolt mains. The company sold 1,287 LT1 Corvettes, a scarcity due in part to a short production season and the high $447.60 cost, more than $140 above the price of a new 454. Moreover, this version lasted just one year, with detuning and lower compression being part of the 1971 follow-up. The car hire has been given a comprehensive refreshing to correct specifications. Purchased new at Surf Chevrolet in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, LT1 packages were too wild for a factory automatic that year. This coupe is painted in rich Donnybrooke Green with a corresponding green interior and tinted T-tops. It has both power windows and the AM radio, as well as the 160 MPH speedometer and a special 6,500 RPM redline tachometer. The finishing touch is 15-inch Rally wheels fitted with redline tires. Provenance accompanying the sale of this car will include the factory Protect-O-Plate, the framed partial tank sticker, and the original owners manual. The LT1 has been noted on occasion to have been the small-block Chevrolet introduced during the 20th century, and this car offers terrific possibilities to its next owner. All original glass. Power windows. All gauges work. Car is missing A.I.R. System. The only modification from the original is added power steering. Reproduction red-line tires. 63,101 miles. Documented car; tank sticker and protecto-plate. Car shows very well. Starts right away with no smoke. Shifts smooth. Sold new at Surf Chevrolet in Pt. Pleasant, New Jersey. CTV Suffix 350/370 HP engine with 380 ft/lbs of torque, 4-speed transmission, Donnybrooke Green, Power windows, AM radio, T-Tops, Rally wheels, Redline tires, Protect-O-Plate, Framed partial tank sticker, Owners manual. National Corvette Museum Verified. Honestly one of the rarest cars we have ever seen, Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of Corvette History with Dallas Showroom. It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars .com. Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is Honored to present a rare offering, and getting rarer by the second, a 1968 Cordova Maroon, four-speed, Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, L71, 435 HP, 427 cubic inches of awesomess! In 1968 the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, also known as the Corvette C3, significantly revised from the linear with its knife-edge beltline, on the new 68 The front sloped steeply with pop-up headlights, and fenders were sharply crowned, creating the impression that the car was lower. The new model rode on the same wheelbase, but was seven inches longer than the previous model. Sales jumped to 28,566 vehicles and two thirds (18,630) were now convertibles, 8,735 with an optional hardtop ($232). Base price was $4,320 for the convertible and $4,663 for the coupe. The base powertrain was still the 300 bhp, 327 cubic inch small-block Chevy V-8 with a 3-speed manual gearbox, but 9,440 buyers stepped up for the 350 bhp L79 engine. There were also four 427 cubic-inch big-block engines to choose from, offering 390 bhp (L36), 400 bhp (L68), and 435 bhp (L71) - the latter with triple carburetors and the option of alloy heads. A total of 7,717 buyers chose the L36 motor, 1,932 the L68 and 2,898 the L71 - 624 adding alloy heads. Our stunning Cordova Maroon exterior with matching hard top, black interior, and black convertible top is a rare sight indeed! Out of 28,566 Corvettes produced this year, only 1,155 (4.04%) were painted Cordova Maroon. Out of the ten color options offered, this was the least produced. Combine this the rare powertrain option of L71, 427 cubic inch, 435 horsepower engine and a four-speed transmission, and its slim pickings to find a comparable example of this King of the Street Corvette. As far as options on our Corvette? There is a steering wheel, four-speed shifter, manual transmission, a gas pedal (the loud pedal) and power brakes. That is really all you need. Oh, there is a radio, but youll never hear it once you get out of second gear. Theres really not much more you can say about this terrific machine. If you are still reading, you know what we have here. If the stars are aligned for you and you can make this purchase, do it! So, if you have cat-like quickness, pounce! For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air. This drop dead gorgeous Bel Air is powered by a non-original 409 Big Block V8 and mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual. The real kicker is the original low mileage, 32,418 original miles and all original sheet metal! That makes for an easier restoration and this restoration is fantastic. With big block power, a four speed and impressive paint and body work; this is an easy crowd pleaser. The paint looks a few days old but is in fact 7 years old. That’s what happens when you cherish a car like this one. This is not an original 409 car but is powered by a date coded 409. The blue interior is an uncommon but very tasteful combo with the beautiful black paint. Finishing off the classic muscle car sleeper look is a set of black wheels with dog dish hubcaps. The heart of this car is the infamous 409 engine. During the restoration, the engine was bored .040 over, fitted with a Thumper camshaft and balanced. Oh, what a sound it makes! Inside youll find a factory tachometer, (rare) factory tilt steering column and radio delete. Other equipment includes a heavy-duty sway bar, power steering and 3.50:1 rear gears. Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer a very unique 1957 Chevrolet Nomad! The two door Nomad took a completely different approach to a station wagon than any other era. With its styling cues being basically that of a 2 door hardtop, the Nomad would enjoy the same success as the tri fives that it was based off of. Much like the 2 door hardtop models the Nomad is one of the coolest platforms to restore. This ‘57 has been built to enjoy and drive on a daily basis while taking it to high level car shows on the weekend. The body was taken off the original frame and taken down to bare metal before being placed on a powder coated frame. The Pastel Lavender paint is slick and looks great while keeping with that classic ‘57 look. Using an upgraded suspension the ride is sporty and can handle anything you throw at it. The rack and pinion steering is crisp and light feeling with the custom wheels adding to the look and handling. With front disc brakes bringing everything to halt in a hurry, it gives you just enough confidence to drive this Nomad like a Camaro. Under the hood is all business with a Chevrolet Crate 502cid filling up the engine bay perfectly. The menacing exhaust note lets everyone know that there is no small block under that hood. Keeping everything at the right temp is an all-aluminum Be Cool Radiator that looks as good as it works. The Turbo-400 transmission routes the power to the rear end which has a set of 3.08’s in it making this a well suited highway hauler. The interior is a mix of classic and new with the painted dash filled with a set of custom digital gauges look great while being super functional. The Tweed bucket seats with the matching door panels tying it all together. Of course, the power windows are always nice especially when it gets a little too hot and the AC needs to be kicked on. Options on this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad include AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. To view this 1957 Chevrolet Nomad in greater detail, including a HD video, visit GatewayClassicCars.com, for more information call us at 313-982-3100 or email us at Detroit@GatewayClassicCars.com

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this rare 1971 Ford Torino GT Convertible. The Marti Report certifies this Torino as 1 of only 13 with M Code 351, C-6 transmission, and Color/Trim Options. This Super rare Torino GT Convertible with highly desirable options is freshly and fully restored. Ford only produced 1,613 Torino GT Convertibles in 1971. ***Marti Report states 1 of 13 with specific paint and trim Options. *** 1 of 262 with the High Compression 351 M-code Cleveland engine and 4V closed chambered heads. *** 1 of 164 with factory white paint #1619-A. Originally an extremely rare factory triple white car, that has been restored to factory white with new black top and interior. *** 1 of only 30 cars ordered from 43 Milwaukee DSO. *** Rarer still, Factory installed Select-Shift C-6 Automatic transmission. Heavy-duty trans almost never seen with 351’s. *** Factory 9” Posi-Rear optional 3.25 gear ratio. *** Factory Bucket Seats with Center Console *** Hideaway Headlights *** Power Steering, *** Power Front Disc Brakes *** Heavy-Duty Battery Prior to a fresh restoration, this was a complete running well-kept car. Just completed extensive two-year, no expense spared highly detailed professional restoration to stock factory condition, with the addition of some very popular chrome engine and bolt on aftermarket parts for modern drivability, reliability, higher performance, enhanced driver comfort, and show car appeal. This GT performs much better than the day it left the factory, without permanently effecting originality. Can be return to 100% stock in a weekend. During the meticulous restoration everything, including the entire drive train, was disassembled and properly restored, show quality re-chromed, and professionally polished to factory condition. Current odometer reading approx. 36,000. Documentation shows this was only driven 3,000 miles in last 12 years. This Torino has only been driven few test miles since complete engine and transmission rebuild to ensure all is fresh and working perfectly. Best suited for a serious collector wanting a great investment that is sure to increase. Dependable enough to drive daily, or gently as a weekend warrior. The 351 Cleveland is generally considered a high-performance engine. However, the truth is 92% of North American 351C engines were basic, 2V, low-compression, medium horsepower engines. Only 8% of all Ford cars came equipped with this high-performance M- Code 351 Cleveland engine with 4V carbureted configuration. (NADA adds 25% price premium for this option.) This GT being offered for sale possesses the correct factory block with casting DOAE-L and casting date “1D21”. This is the real deal conservatively rated from the factory with 285 HP. However, it is now completely rebuilt using high performance internal components, by renowned Ford engine builder. This torque monster is now rated over 425 HP and designed to run modern unleaded fuel. It always starts, idles, and runs well with amazing bravado. ***Correct factory heads identified by 4* casting and eight bolt valve covers. These closed chamber (quench) style cylinder heads w large exhaust valves give very high flow capacity and are the real trick to the engines performance. With 10.7:1 high compression and monstrous free breathing ports, 61.3-64.3 cc combustion chambers, 2.198 intake valves and 1.715 exhaust valves. An article in Super Stock and Drag Illustrated tested a Torino equipped with the 370 HP 429 CJ, C-6 automatic, stated this car would really respond to a good ignition system, a better intake manifold, a larger carburetor and a set of headers. This convertible GT’s restorers took their sage advice and kept the car mostly stock but installed these high-performance upgrades and a bit more, detailed below. *** Entire engine bay highly detailed and painted correct factory semi-gloss black. *** Engine painted correct Ford blue. ***Block professionally cleaned, sonic tested, balanced, blueprinted, align bored, and cylinders honed .030 over. *** Heads received all new Light Weight Valves with Crane Roller Rockers. *** Cig-Erikson Performance Cam and Lifters produce a mild awesome muscular lope. Description:

Turn every head while you cruise in this rare 1961 Pontiac Ventura this Summer! The 1961 full-sized Pontiacs were completely restyled including an all-new “Torque-Box” perimeter frame that replaced the “X” frame chassis used since 1958. The distinctive split grille, first seen in 1959 and dropped in 1960, was reintroduced. Roof lines were somewhat squared off and the new body was slightly smaller and lighter in 1961. All engines were 389 cubic inch V8 plants, but there were new option codes available to performance enthusiasts. Our beautiful 1961 Pontiac Venture Sports Coupe came equipped from the factory with a very special 363 hp version sought out by serious drag racers. The 61’s never came from the assembly line with a plant larger than the 389, but a new, hand assembled, 421 cubic inch Tri-power beast was made available as a dealer installed option late in the season. This rare Ventura was the happy recipient of one of these factory replacements built on May 1, 1961, replacing the original 389. The performance features ordered did not stop with the engine and include a 4-speed manual transmission and performance axle package, “Saf-T-Track” 3.90 differential and dual exhaust. The exterior is bathed in the original Coronado Red with a stylish red/white vinyl interior that includes split front bench sheets. This well-documented fast ride underwent a complete frame-off restoration in 2012 and is ready to show. This beautiful Ventura Sports Coupe is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

Description:

1934 Packard Twelve Victoria for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this 1934 Packard Twelve Convertible Victoria, Body by Dietrich; S/N 74747; Engine # 9022538. This Classic Packard is featured in Black with a Silver beltline and Blue coachlines. The interior is Light Grey leather, and it has a Black cloth top. This Packard benefits from a spectacular Concours restoration and is in #1 condition.

Introduced in August 1933, the Eleventh-Series Packard Twelve reflected a growing influence in streamlined design, and today they are considered some of the most beautifully drawn and exquisitely proportioned cars ever built by the firm. Among the roster of available body styles, the Convertible Victoria on the 147-inch-wheelbase 1107 platform stands tall, with its svelte and elegant lines that, as historian Edward J. Blend noted, “represented a design high point” for its era. Fewer than ten examples remain extant, and the majority of them are greatly treasured by their owners and have remained in their hands for many years.

S/N 74747 is believed to have been delivered by the Earle C. Anthony showroom in San Francisco on 21 July 1934, as noted on its reproduction firewall tag. It eventually passed into the ownership of F. Gooding of Idaho, who began the restoration, including having the engine rebuilt by the late, great twelve-cylinder Packard guru Charlie Last. During Mr. Gooding’s ownership, the car was featured in the updated listings of Edward J. Blend’s The Magnificent Packard Twelve of Nineteen Thirty-Four. Mr. Gooding eventually sold the partially restored car to the well-known, longtime collector and enthusiast Gerald Greenfield, for whom a complete two-year restoration was performed by Murray Motor Car of Monroe, Washington.

Mr. Greenfield exhibited the car at the concours d’elegance at Everett, Washington, and Forest Grove, Oregon, winning Best of Show at each. This was followed by an appearance at the 1995 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, where it was awarded 1st in Class, reportedly achieving a perfect score. The following year it was purchased by the respected Michigan collector John McMullen and would remain in his renowned fleet for a decade. Indeed, the Packard was considered one of the centerpieces of the McMullen Collection—no small feat in a gathering that also included a one-off Murphy-bodied Cadillac and a Duesenberg. During its time in the collection, the car achieved its Senior First Prize in Classic Car Club of America competition and was judged 1st in Class at the Meadowbrook Concours d’Elegance in 1998.

It was acquired by Keith Crain from the McMullen Collection in 2007. This Packard then continued to add awards to its roster, including a Lion Award at Meadowbrook in 2009; it also made a second appearance at Pebble Beach in 2010. For the past seven years 74747 has been part of a prestigious local collection. The quality of workmanship is still very clear throughout, including the subtle silver highlights and blue striping of the ebony bodywork, the supple dove-grey leather interior, and the black Haartz cloth top; the fit and finish throughout is superb. Additionally, the car is well accessorized, with chromed wire wheels, a single Pilot Ray driving light, Lalique crystal Tete l’Egle mascot, and a rare chrome luggage rack bumper.

Among the very finest and most frequently honored restored examples, this superb twelve-cylinder Packard really is magnificent—a surefire crowd and judges’ favorite wherever it is to be shown with its next caretaker.
