Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a unique, one of a kind 1955 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. Its hard to find an area of sheet metal that hasnt been reworked. The top has been chopped, the bed was shortened, the hood has been pancacked and the body has also been channeled in order for the frame to sit higher in the chassis. When the top was cut, the windows were cut as well for proper fitment by using water jet cutting. A forward tilting hood is a unique take and it works beautifully. The door hinges have been relocated in order to switch them over to suicide door operation. Electric door poppers are in place of the original door handles and the mirrors have been removed for a clean and shaved appearance. The tailgate is welded shut and has flames tamped into the sheet metal The bed has an interesting look to it thanks to the wheel wells that have been enlarged to accommodate the gigantic wheel and tire combo. The rears are 285/50R20 and the fronts are 255/60R17. The bed itself has been airbrushed to resemble a wood bed. The fuel filler for the aluminum fuel cell is accessed by a flip up door in the center of the bed and the shape of the bed floor has been modified in order to fit the channeled chassis, primarily the rear axles. This smooth body is supported by an adjustable air suspension that is controlled by two switches mounted in the custom center console. Ride height can be independently adjusted for the front and rear. The rear suspension also consist of an adjustable four-link set up and a Mustang II for the front end. The Mustang II includes tubular upper and lower control arms along with rack and pinion steering. Slowing down is a breeze with four wheel disc brakes. Four wheel disc are a good thing to have with a power plant such as this one. Under the hood is a 454 cubic inch big block thats backed up by a TH-400. three speed automatic. Out back and sending the power to the rear wheels is a 12 bolt rear end housing 4.11 gears. Inside is just as well built and thought out as the rest of the build. The seats are leather with Ostrich leather inserts as are the door panels and headliner. The floor is also leather! Dakota Digital gauges keep you well informed. The custom made center console houses the air suspension controls and the Lokar shifter. The center console stretches back past the bucket seats and up towards the rear window. The headliner also houses the stereo that can be controlled by remote. The rest of the controls are hidden under the dash to help retain the clean and uncluttered appearance. No expense was spared for this one off build. If you want a one of a kind classic truck that doesnt have gawdy color combination or flames everywhere, look no further. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1966 Ford Mustang Restomod! In the mid 60s Ford developed and released a car that would become one of the longest produced cars in American History! We all know the story of the Mustang, the quintessential Pony Car that took America by storm! While even today these cars are loved and we are happy there are many of these ponies still around! The blue paint still has a good shine but you can tell she has enjoyed time on the road as any pony deserves! The blue vinyl interior is also in good order. The blue on blue with black vinyl top (also in good shape) gives this an iconic look. She is sitting on a set of Wheel Vintiques 17 Mag-Style Wheels that really complements the tone. Walking around this car you certainly couldnt tell that it is beyond its years. The bigger back tire gives up the game that something is amiss. Popping the hood you expect to see a 289ci V8 but no sir. Thriving under there is a fuel injected 5.0L V8, and shes a Coyote! The exact horsepower is unknown, but factory spec was 412hp! Power is running down through a the 6-speed automatic transmission that is believed from the same modern mustang! And folks this isnt one of those situations where a powertrain is pulled and dropped into a car and lets hope for the best. The Mustang II-style front suspension w/tubular A-arms, thick front sway bar, newer urethane bushings, and a strong limited-slip Mosler 9-inch rear speaks volumes to the build. Plus, to balance her out and slow her stride, at each wheel youll find QA1 adjustable coilovers and Wilwood disc brakes. Combine this with some nice comforts like A/C, Custom radio w/digital tuner & subwoofer, Dakota Digital Gauges and B&M Quicksilver shifter and you have an incredible package that looks like a vintage muscle car. The build is believed to have been completed 4-5 years ago and only has 1800 miles since the restoration! Dont miss out on your chance to have an this awesome restomod that will surprise anyone anywhere she goes. Options on this Pony are: A/C, Vinyl Interior, AM/FM Radio, Seat Belts, Alloy Wheels, and Radial Tires. This 1966 Ford Mustang Restomod is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this numbers-matching 1962 Chevrolet C-1 Corvette. The final year of the first generation Corvette, this car is adorned with options that would be found on the last of a decade-long body style, including: a wraparound windshield, solid rear axle, and convertible-only body style. The exposed headlamps and trunk lid did not re-appear for many decades. The Corvette line was born in 1953 as a concept entry into the New York Auto Show, known as the Motorama. The response was so great it prompted General Motors to begin limited production for the 1953 model year which launched a legend. This 62 Corvette for sale comes from the same pedigree, and is ready to show and go! Moving this beauty down the road is a classic 327 CID small-block Chevy V8 engine. Rated at 300 horsepower, this Corvette was built for even the most eager thrill seekers. The power plant is coupled with an optional four-speed manual transmission, which offers you the maximum adrenaline rush. Simply put, there is nothing quite like the feeling of motoring along the highways and byways of America in a true American legend. Top down, radio on, exhaust rumbling, and passersby giving you a double-take as you’re hustling her through the twisties. Nestled into a cockpit-inspired cabin with aviation-style instrumentation and wrap around bucket seats, one can truly feel why this car has become the living legend it is. The beige vinyl sport buckets straddle the shifter snugly, begging you to slip in and run through the gears! With an exterior that’s just as sharp as the interior, it’s hard to go wrong with this 1962 Corvette convertible for sale. The classic styling of this C-1 Corvette was a perfect example of the new trend in American styling. The Wineberry Red paint on this C-1 Vette hugs every sexy curve of this old school cruiser. The raised front and rear fenders makes for a very muscular stance, low to the ground, and very aggressive. The quad headlights and the blacked-out anodized grill completed the concept that had, at that time, taken America by storm. Options on this 1962 Chevy Corvette for sale, include: AM radio, manual convertible top, hard top, seat belts, vinyl interior, and steel wheels with hub caps wrapped in whitewall radial tires. This 1962 C-1 Corvette for sale at our Houston location is an amazing opportunity to own and enjoy one of the true great American sports cars of all time. This car will get up and go. Can you imagine it in your garage? For more info on this nifty C-1 Vette, please call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220; or email us at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com. To see more of it, view it on our website: www.GatewayClassicCars.com, where youll see HD photos and an HD video of it in operation. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this wonderful 1940 Buick Super 8 convertible. 1940 was the first year for these mesmerizing full-size Buicks, which were produced on GMs C Body platform (shared with Cadillac Series 62 and Oldsmobile 90). This really is a stunning vehicle and although cosmetic repairs have been done, it retains a lot of value by remaining mostly original. Painted in “Casino Beige, your friends will think youve hit the jackpot when they see you rolling in this drop top Super 8. The fender skirts, split windshield and Firestone white wall tires are a sign of the times but this car wouldnt be the same without them. This Buick Super 8s convertible top has new fabric and comes with a matching Tan boot cover for a finishing touch. Under the dual side opening hood is Buicks 248 “Fireball inline 8-cylinder motor that purrs into life every time you push the start button. Yes, this 1940 vehicle has a “push to start that replaces the traditional floor starter and almost passes off as a factory original item! A 3-speed “three on the tree manual transmission with the shifter located on the column is authentic and has the benefit of adding room inside this ‘40 Buick. It wouldnt be right to overlook some of the quirky interior features of this luxo-barge either; luxurious Red leather bench seats front and rear, the steering wheel looks like it came out of a sailing boat and is covered in chrome with a horn ring, the equally bright chrome dash with stock gauges/instruments and the large clock on the passenger side with functioning AM radio. Perhaps the most notable time capsule feature is the ashtray and lighter built into the dash and the two additional ashtrays for back seat passengers.. oh, how times have changed! This vehicle has been in the same family for many years and has been loved and taken care of. Tomorrow this piece of history could be in your garage! Our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff will put our eyes and ears on this collectable 1940 Buick Super 8 convertible for you if you give us a call today at (623) 900-4884. This little gem has quite a few surprises hidden, and some that are not so hidden. The Kawasaki Green (PPG) paint is not for those who prefer to remain unnoticed, and it looks great from any angle! The gorgeous Eleanor E-2 body kit adds to the visual feast, and furthers the uniqueness of this custom Pony, with its custom front, hood, and rear. Under the hood of this 66 is where a lot of the hidden surprises are. The engine is a 4.6L 32-valve quad-cam V8 Cobra engine, and its sporting lots of shiny goodies - polished CAI tube, upper intake, and valve covers really give it a finished look. A giant Flex-a-Lite aluminum radiator with its thermostatically controlled electric fan keeps the Cobra engine well within its comfort zone. The MagnaFlow muffler equipped dual exhaust starts with a set of JBA shorty headers, and it has the subdued, but potent sound that lets bystanders know that this car is no slouch. Behind the 4.6L Cobra engine is a 5-speed manual Tremec T-45 transmission that is more than capable of handling what the Cobra powerplant can dish out. The updated Ford 8.8 rear end houses a limited slip differential and some highway-friendly 3.08:1 gears. The front suspension is a Heidts Mustang II kit and is equipped with lightweight tubular control arms. A Wilwood master cylinder and Wilwood front calipers add enhanced stopping capability to the 4-wheel disc brake setup. Maier Racing Enterprises full-length subframe connectors improve overall stiffness and add to the already sure handling that this Pony delivers. The custom Shelby-style aluminum wheels (17x8 front, 17x9 rear) are shod with P225/45ZR17 performance radials, which have plenty of tread life left. Inside, the custom synthetic leather covered ProCar front buckets provide both comfort for the long hauls, and support for spirited driving. The synthetic leather rear bench is enhanced by the dramatic Cobra emblem embroidery. The driver is kept well informed by a custom set of AutoMeter NV gauges, and will appreciate the Ididit tilt steering column, which is topped by an Alcantara-rimmed Grant steering wheel with centering stripe. Drivers will also appreciate the custom shifter setup, which moves the shift knob closer at hand, and provides a nice notchy feel. The custom retro-styled AM/FM head unit (with USB ports) provides the tunes, if you ever want to listen to something other than the awesome sound that the car puts out. This custom Pony wont last long - so stop looking and grab it before you miss out!
