Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1974 Pontiac Trans Am, but not just any Trans Am this one is a Super duty! That’s right this 1974 super duty for sale is everything you have always wanted, White on white with the big blue bird on the hood yelling to the world to move over and get out of your way! Oh, maybe it is everything I always wanted. This 1974 Trans Am for sale is too classy for words and just off a full restoration. Beating under the hood and giving life to the bird is an engine that was bolted to this car from the factory 455 Super duty topped with a four barrel carburetor. Backing this horsepower making monster is a three speed automatic transmission for neck snapping launches and easy highway cruising This 1974 Super duty for sale is as clean as the day she was rolled on to the lot in Sarasota Florida where some lucky stiff was talked into getting behind the wheel by a gum snapping gold chain wearing car salesmen. Of course once behind the wheel with the engine running, thoughts of the Le Mans he had ventured in to the dealership to “look at” were long gone and there was no way he was leaving with out this car’s keys in his hand! Let’s face it, we both missed the chance to own a new super duty, do not let this chance pass you by. Technically it is not new, but it sure looks, smells, sounds and even drives like it is. Options for this 1974 T/A Super Duty for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power brakes, Power steering, Power lock, Power windows, Tilt wheel, seat belts, Vinyl interior and raised white letter tire wrapped around rally rims. For more information about this 1974 Trans Am super duty for sale call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Ford Lauderdale is honored to present this pristine 1935 Ford Deluxe Cabriolet Restomod. This Ford received a stunning, top-notch restoration and conversion into one of the sweetest motorcars you will ever find. It is truly a work of art. The exterior finish, chrome and trim are all very high quality... and if you did not know any better, you might think its still stock. But that is where the modern aspect and enjoyability kick in. It all sits on gorgeous 16 wire wheels and appropriate wide whites. A 350 Chevrolet resides between the now boxed original frame rails and is tied to a 3-speed automatic. Of course, you will also find power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes and modern air conditioning, all well engineered in the vintage engine bay. Attention to detail is remarkable. The new & revised firewall make better use of the area and adds strength. The interior is equally stunning, with leather, a new reproduction 1940 Ford instrument panel which allows air conditioning vents and controls. The long classic shift lever cleverly disguises the automatic aspect. The cabriolet top enjoys use of the original metal framework, and neatly folds behind the rear seat under a matching boot. The trunk boasts a large V8 symbol in the upholstery itself. If you are looking for one of the finest, you found it. This car is outstanding, ready to enjoy and will surely impress. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this beautiful addition to our Philadelphia showroom, a striking 1966 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 at our showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! With competition coming from all directions, Oldsmobile came out strong with the introduction of the 4-4-2! While it was a worthy competitor, the 4-4-2 fell short of cubic inches and the straight-line performance seen in cars like the GTO and Chevelle. To answer the call, Oldsmobile prepared a new 400 engine in 1965 and revamped the 4-4-2 package with simulated rear fender scoops and colorful 4-4-2 badges. Thanks to these changes, Oldsmobile saw significant success in their sales and were looking forward to the 1966 model year. This superb 4-4-2 is perhaps one of the nicest examples of the treasured muscle car from 1966 and appears just as it did from the showroom! This beauty received the full treatment with a frame off restoration including the glass being replaced and coded, black interior totally redone and all suspension components rebuilt! Painted in stunning silver metallic, the car has a beautiful finish and it is heavily emphasized with the mirror-finish chrome and brightwork that was all restored! Powering this incredible machine is the numbers matching 400 CID V8, rebuilt 300 miles ago, equipped with the legendary Track Pac, an over-the-counter Tri-Carb conversion kit that boosted power from 350 to 360 horsepower! Perhaps the coolest part of the engine bay is the Outside Air Induction package (OAI). The OAI features dual air scoops that are incorporated in the front bumpers which interestingly forced the relocation of the front turn-signals. To make room for the scoops, the factory moved the turn signals in about a foot! You wont see this on your average Olds! This car really moves and you can feel the power as you shift through all four gears! From the handsome black bench seats to the flawless trunk, this 4-4-2 means business and is ready for its next adventure. Call us today to learn more information and make this beauty yours! Additional features include rebuilt side-tachometer, brand new brake and fuel lines, seat belts, battery kill switch and Posi-rear with 4:11 gears. To view this 1966 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

For Sale in our Detroit Showroom is a super clean 1986 Oldsmobile Toronado. This extremely low mileage Toronado will bring you back to the late 80’s in style. The final generation Toronado made its debut in 1985 for the 1986 model year. It was even smaller, lost its body-on-frame construction in favor of a unibody platform, and was the first Toronado since 1969 to feature hidden headlights. For the first time ever, V8 engines were gone and replaced with the fuel-injected version of the Buick 231CID (3.8 L) V6, now the only powerplant available. This powerplant is capable of a long and reliable life and what many would call a “bulletproof” powertrain. This Olds has just over 10,000 miles on it, yes that is not a typo, 10,170 miles on the odometer with plenty of life left for you to enjoy. The interior is very welcoming and comfortable. It even still smells new! You can enjoy power options galore like the power windows, door locks, and seats as well as the digital gauges that work great. If you are looking for a super nice cruiser that you can enjoy for a while, this one is a great candidate. Description:

Our Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1975 MG MGB for sale. This MGB has a new top in the box ready for installation and less than 1K rebuild on the engine. The car was painted about 5-6 years about. For many years, enthusiasts of the MGB made the claim that this was the best-selling sports car ever made. With a total of more than 513,000 cars assembled at Abingdon from 1962 through 1980, and more than 300,000 roadsters exported to the U.S., until very recently they had the numbers on their side. A production run of 18 years and more than a half-million cars speaks volumes about the quality of the MGB. And for the new enthusiast, these numbers mean there are a lot of cars for sale and a lot of spare parts with which to keep them running for many years. What accounted for the long run and great reception, when so many other sports cars came and went during the same period? Beyond the cost and ease of purchasing, restoring and upgrading it, there are two very good reasons for the past and present popularity of the MGB. First, it is fun to drive. Second, it is easy to take care of. Only a few cars on the road provide the visceral pleasure of driving an MGB. Take it out on a country road, wind it up through the gears with the positive gear change, then do a heel-and-toe downshift into a tight corner and power out again on the straight. Let the wind whip through your hair, and listen to the song of the four-cylinder engine. No classic car at this price can offer anywhere near the same experience, and only a few modern sports cars come close. From almost the beginning of the marque, MG’s slogan was “Safety Fast,” and generations of enthusiasts can attest that it delivered on that promise. But the experience isn’t limited to driving. For anyone who wants a brief escape from software problems, computer systems that have minds of their own, and user manuals that require a degree in electronics to understand, the MGB opens the door to a fast-disappearing world of basic electrical and see-how-it-works mechanical systems. With a basic set of tools, an electrical test gauge and some rudimentary mechanical ability, any job from a basic tune-up or an oil change to a complete engine rebuild can be undertaken in the garage as a weekend alternative to video games and surfing the Net. Options include. Convertible top, and radial tires. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833.

Description:

The Continental Mark Series has been marketed by the Lincoln Division of Ford Motor Company since 1956 to denote their flagship personal luxury vehicle. While sharing little to no common bodywork, the Mark series would share much of its underpinnings with the Ford Thunderbird with the exception of 1977-1979 when the Thunderbird was downsized. This 1978 Continental Mark V represented a major revision vs. the Mark IV. At just short of 20 feet long, it demands attention. Motor Trend Magazine quoted the following, “The Mark V was the essence of unconstrained American automotive opulence, conceived at a time when fuel economy and space efficiency were the concerns of lesser cars”. This survivor sports a 460 cid V8, the largest displacement powerplant available in the US at the time. This engine was actually banned in the State of California. Additional features include power steering, power brakes, power windows AM/FM Stereo and leather interior. A very unique feature found on this vehicle is the rare power Moon-Roof option that seems to extend forever! This Lincoln Continental Mark V is located at our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

The Allante was sold by Cadillac from 1987-1993 with just over 21,000 built during the entire production run. Designed to compete with the Mercedes Benz SL and Jaguar XJS, the Allante was powered by a slightly modified version of the 4.1 L V8 engine used across the Cadillac line. Perhaps the most unique story involving the production of this vehicle stems from the fact that the bodies were built in Italy by Pininfarina and then shipped 4,600 miles via Boeing 747 jets to be mated with their chassis in Detroit. This 1993 Champagne Metallic Cadillac Allante represents the final year of production and features several upgrades vs. prior years. Engine capacity was raised to 4.6 L resulting in a respectable 295 hp and 290 ft-lbs of torque. An unequal length control arm rear suspension was also introduced that year along with variable-assist power rack and pinion steering and revised disc brakes. A premium quality sound system dubbed the GM Delco “Symphony” enhanced the overall driving experience. This unique piece of U.S. automotive history is located at our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this beautiful vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This cool 1990 Cadillac Brougham is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Cadillac Brougham was released 1987 as a model all to itself to where as on previous models it was a package that could be added on. Initially the Brougham was a horse drawn carriage intended for 2-4 people but Cadillac actually used the name to designate an enclosed 5-7 passenger sedan body style in 1916 but would see a long term hiatus of 1955 the name plate after 1937. Reappearing in 1955 as a straight up show car the 4 door variant would be released in 1957 to a warm response from critics and the public alike. The 87 was no exception with the public enjoying the last rear wheel drive offering from Cadillac with the now Fleetwood being a completely different automobile. The Brougham would be a front engine rear drive one of a kind luxury mobile that would be used as a platform for many coach builders to make stretch limos. The engine in this 90 is the 350 CID which is one of GM’s best power plants ever. Extremely torquey and as reliable as they come this was the best engine to be put in these cars. Of course when pushing around a little over 2 tons, torque is a great friend to have. With the car designed for long trips the right transmission was an absolute must. Still to this day a very desirable transmission the 700R4 was the perfect choice, an overdrive 4 speed with smooth shifts yet strong enough to handle the added stress of such a heavy car. Available until 1990 it makes the 90 versions the most sought after of the bunch. Brand new bumper fillers both front and rear were just installed All 4 corners have great rubber on them with the classic real Cadillac spokes only adding to the appeal. Add to the mix a chrome grill that rivals some of the greats from the early 30s it definitely demands attention. With both rear and front bumpers as shiny as they come this Brougham is one of the cleanest examples you will find. Open the door and the leather, yes that’s right, leather interior is in very clean condition with everything except the driver seat looking as if it was never even sit in. The light grey is very attractive and looks very nice against the wood trim accents. With these still considered one of the best riding vehicles to ever be made the 80s era Cadillacs are seeing a surge in popularity and after riding in this one its easy to see why. Options on this 1990 Cadillac Brougham Am/FM/Cassette, Cruise Control, Wire Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Telescopic Wheel, Tilt Wheel, Ride Control, Cloth Interior and White Wall Radial Tires. . This 1990 Cadillac Brougham for sale can be seen at our Louisville showroom, www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call 812- 294-1555 for additional information.

With such great success there were no really big changes in 95 though Ford did announce this would be the last year for there classic 5.0 engine. The powered top still works nicely with the simple push of a button the tan canvas tops tucks away nicely to allow for wind in the hair driving. The leather interior is true and original to the car with the tan being the perfect contrast to the red paint. Description:

A downsized Regal appeared for the 1978 model year with Buick's new 196 cu in (3.2 L) V6 engine as standard equipment and a revised version of the venerable 231 cu in (3.8 L) V6 as an option (which became standard for 1980). Initially, a three-speed manual transmission was standard but this was later replaced by an automatic. At the time of introduction, Regals were available exclusively as coupés with the Century nameplate applied to bread-and-butter sedans and station wagons.[5] In January 1982 the Century was replaced by an all-new car on the front-wheel drive A platform, which meant that the Regal gained a four-door sedan and five-door station wagon - essentially facelifted and rebadged versions of the previous year's rear-wheel drive Century. It was the first time the name appeared on a full model lineup. The wagon was discontinued after 1983, and the sedan dropped from the lineup the next year.[6] This generation Regal lasted ten years. The base model was equipped with softer-riding luxury suspension, and did not offer a manual transmission in later years.
A major facelift for 1981 gave the Regal a much more aerodynamic profile, helping make it possible for the car to compete on the NASCAR racing circuit. The sloping hood and nose of the car made it the favorite of several NASCAR teams. Richard Petty drove one to victory in the 1981 Daytona 500, and the car won a majority of the 1981 and 1982 seasons races and won the NASCAR manufacturers title in 1981 and 1982.

V8s for street use were still available, but had shrunk to 265 cu in (4.3 L) (1980 and 1981 only, Pontiac built), and the V6 was rapidly gaining popularity. From 1986 to 1987, the 307 cu in (5.0 L) V8 was available as an option. The 3,791 cc (3.8 L; 231.3 cu in) 2-bbl V6 was standard. The 200-4R overdrive transmission was an option with either engine.

For 1980, the Regal was offered in a special Somerset Limited Edition trim which featured unique tan and dark blue designer exterior paint, wire wheel covers, sport mirrors, and chrome Somerset badging. The interior had tan and blue plush velour upholstery, brushed chrome trim, and additional Somerset badging. A Somerset Limited Edition model was also offered on the restyled 1981 Regal. It had unique dark sandstone and camel exterior paint, sport mirrors, and turbine wheels. The interior plush velour upholstery was camel with dark brown piping.

Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this clean original 1984 Chevrolet Corvette. Between the sharp C4 lines and the relatively low mileage, this car will make an excellent driver. 1984 was the first year of the C4 body style. The C4 corvette brought back more powerful engines and the convertible option to the cars. This generation of corvette was also the first to have the Glass hatchback to allow for convenient storage in the rear. Braking was improved with aluminum calipers and new rotors. In the rear, the suspension was updated with a Fiberglass mono-leaf instead of a traditional leaf spring. Powering this sleek ride is a 5.7-liter V8 that was good for 205 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. This power helped accelerate the car to 60 MPH in a little over 6 seconds when new. Sending the V8 power to the rear wheels is a four-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears. Overall this car runs well and would be a good driver or weekend cruiser. Moving outward, this sleek ride is finished in a classy gold paint that is in good condition other than some very minor imperfections. All the appropriate badging is in place and in good condition. Supporting each corner of this ride are alloy wheels with faux spinners wrapped in BF Goodrich radial tires that have decent tread life left in them. Upon entering the interior, the driver will feel very comfortable thanks to the power leather seats which feature lumbar support. The wood dash also adds a touch of class and luxury. Keeping the driver comfortable year-round are functional AC/heat. This car is loaded with amenities such as power mirrors, power windows, power brakes, power steering and power locks. In the summer months, the driver will appreciate the removable glass top that allows for plenty of sunshine and fresh air. When it comes time to listen to some driving music, the sound system in this car is sure to impress. Overall this is a nice car and a great entry-level Corvette To see all the HD pictures and video, please go to http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/HOU/1124/1984-chevrolet-corvette. Description:

This custom 1988 GMC S15 is available in our Louisville KY showroom. The S15 was GMC’s version of the S10 which was a light truck that sold very well from 1983 to 1990. Many of these trucks were used as platforms in the mini truck world, a term used for lowered customized light trucks popular in the early 90’s. This example is a one owner low mileage truck that had a ton of custom work done over the years. Stat with the body and paint, the custom front end gives it a sporty style while making it appear even lower. The paint on the truck is custom and typical of what you would see done in that era. The top was cut off making this little s15 a convertible with its removable hardtop. The wheels on the truck are Dayton’s, the original spoke wheel used on many low riders. The gold spokes are clean and with these being true knock off’s that spinner is not just for looks. Under the custom louvered hood, the original engine still runs great and with it being the 2.5 liter does great on gas. The manual transmission shifts out great with the clutch still having a great feel. Inside the interior has been customized as well with the bucket seats having a velour material making them soft to the touch. The white Grant steering wheel is a great touch with the full size panoramic rear-view mirror really putting an exclamation point on the build. Options on this 1988 GMC S15 include, AM/FM Radio, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, and Knock Off Wire Dayton’s with Radial Tires. With many new parts being added to this vehicle and being brought back to life a few years ago, it is a true driver’s car and has some unique features that separate it from most other Beetles like the fender skirts and roof rack with a wooden bottom. The black accents on the hood are a good touch and add even more character to the overall look. Once you slide into the interior of this bug you notice the classic sixties styling with the layout of the dash, gauges, and seats, with only a few hints of modern times like the aftermarket shifter.
