Description:

Gateway Classic cars is proud to present this 1933 Ford 3-Window that has less than 1,000 miles on the build. That is how you get a car that has everything, including slick paint, A/C interior, proper V8 power, strong chassis, upgraded suspension, and so much more. This one looks like it is ready to join ZZ Top. But before you start dreaming about making music videos, take a moment to appreciate the top quality this one already has. It is a desirable fiberglass body finished in an amazingly vibrant red. And you can really see the superiority in the fit as you get up closer, and the flames give this a classic hot rod look. They had an eye to make this extra sleek with the smooth front end, chrome headlight housings, and adding a flame job. So now you really recognize the brightwork in places like the waterfall grille and polished wheels! It is all part of a package where you can tell they sweated the details. The tan and white kangaroo and Ostridge leather seats and the kind of modern bolstering to keep you comfortable all day long. This tan is repeated on the door panels, headliner, carpeting, and even the trunk. You also have comfort features like power windows, cup holders, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. There is even a special overhead console to house the AM/FM/CD stereo - that way the dash can remain looking vintage while you get a proper modern Bluetooth radio. You get a leather and chrome steering wheel mounted on a tilt column, and the dash is dominated by nice gauges, including a large speedo and tach. The engine bay continues the professional quality look of this build. You have a solid investment in shining components, and everything is looking quite tidy. While this is a show-worthy presentation, you will really love performance the substance behind it. This is a LT1 350 cubic-inch V8. It even has nice supporting components, including a serpentine belt system and an aluminum radiator. The V8 connects to a TH400 four-speed automatic transmission. As you look underneath the car, the clean color-matched presentation reminds you again of both the quality and low mileage. Plus, you will spot a 9in ford rear end the strong boxed steel chassis, and four-link rear with adjustable coilovers. Plus, front disc brakes, power brakes, and modern rubber make this a very nice cruiser. With power, quality, and comfort at your hand, we know this beautiful Ford will not stick around our showroom long. Call today!!! Description:

This could potentially be the only Cougar like this one still in existence! Sold June 23rd, 1969 this triple black Cougar was purchased and adored for many years by what is believed to be only two owners. After the current owner purchased it 6 years ago, this classic Mercury underwent a complete restoration where the car was stripped down to the bare tub. Once taken down bolt by bolt, the car was professionally restored using correct parts and no expense was sparred throughout. The same 390 cubic inch big block V8 and C-6 Merc-O-Matic that came in only 102 Cougars that year was also taken apart and professionally rebuilt. Since this work was completed and the car was put back together, there has been only 464 miles put on this stunning Cougar! The Raven black paint that was a factory color in 1969 looks deep and is like looking in a mirror and pairs well with the completely black interior and black soft top. As you sit in the driver’s seat, and stare out over the gauges, you will be impressed at the overall condition and feel as if you are looking at this Cougar back on the showroom floor in 1969. The ride in this Cougar is just as impressive. Before the interior was reinstalled, the floor pans were lined in Dynamat to keep the road noise down. This Cougar is a piece of American automotive history and is an excellent option for someone who wants a very original classic with a MARTI report and the prominence that goes with it. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1969 Mercury Cougar in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Offered for sale by our Chicago showroom is this beautiful 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. Powered by a 327 small block V8 with only 376 miles since new, this is a true “must-see. Given the nickname “Cherry Smash this Corvette has won national shows, been on the cover of magazines, and has been completely customized from top to bottom, inside and out. Starting with the 327 having been completely gone through and prepared for boost via the 4-71 Cragar supercharger blasting out an estimated 600+ horsepower. Being that this ‘Vette was never destined for the streets, the alternator was removed to eliminate as much parasitic drag from the engine as possible. Lots of Corvettes have big horsepower claims, but none of them have looks on par with this 1975 ISCA show winner. With a painted frame, chrome front straight axle, and custom veluer wrapped interior, including the roll cage, this Corvette just oozes style and is loaded with secret changes and upgrades from your standard 62 model. The front rims are still wrapped in perior correct Stahl tires, while a fresher set of rear slicks have been installed for safety. The 4-speed trans shifts like butter and is eager to be wound out and hammered ingo gear. The blower puts out the distinct whine that only a roots-style supercharger can deliver bringing a vintage sound to match the sights and smells of unburnt fuel and candy-metallic paint. This Corvette is full disco and is a true survivor of the glory days of drag racing and car shows. Options include: Manual Convertible Top, Seat belts, and Racing Wheels. For more information on this beautiful 1932 Chevrolet Corvette contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is pleased to present this awesome 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. Covered in its factory bright blue poly color, the whole idea behind this restoration was keep it numbers matching but give it the power it should have had. Bumberas Performance was tapped to handle the drivetrain restoration, and they did a super job. Starting with the original numbers-matching 440 CID V8 block and 727 TorqueFlite transmission, the powertrain was thoroughly redone and enhanced to give it the tire-smoking gutsiness that this beast was expected to deliver when one thinks of any Dodge 440-powered car! New heads were installed, but the block and innards were thoroughly inspected and reworked to provide serious power to the wheels. The 727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission also received the same attention to detail, receiving a complete rebuild and newer, stronger components. All told, the rebuilt drive train has only about 500 miles on it, so youve got plenty of life to look forward to! In addition, the brakes and steering were enhanced with new hoses and reservoirs, and the pump was refurbished. A set of 18 Boss Motorsports aluminum wheels with black centers and polished aluminum lips give a more modern look and subtract weight from the factory steel wheels. Nitto 555 performance radials (245/45/ZR18 up front, 275/40ZR18 out back) skin the rims and provide tons of grip. Inside, about the only thing thats not original (or original style) is the new digital dash (selected to replace the original gauge set, which had seen some connector corrosion over the years). This digital driver info system gives ample information to the driver and looks cool while doing so. A new exhaust system replaces the factory original and adds a more muscular sound in the process. While this is a factory air car, the original componentry was left largely intact, and can be retrofitted by its new owner to R134a coolant. Additional features and options on this 1970 Dodge Charger R/T include Air Conditioning (not blowing cold), Aluminum Wheels, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Spare Tire and Jack, and Vinyl Interior. Dont miss this chance to get yourself some MOPAR muscle! For more information on this 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/1967 . Description:

In stunning black on black we have this 1956 Ford F-100. With 55,150 miles this black beauty is a clean example of an early F series, a series that would go on to become the top-selling vehicle of all time. Powered by the 223-inch OHV six-cylinder that is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission, this thing is a blast from the past. As told by the owner this is a numbers matching truck. It has also received a complete repaint to give a fresh look. Starting in 1953 Ford decided their post war trucks were going to need to evolve and evolve they did. No particularly in what they could haul but how they rode and felt. Designed to be more “driver oriented than the trucks of the past, these were made to give it a more passenger car like feel. Given a much larger cab they also give the riders more room to move about. If this truck strikes a chord with you, as it should anyone, feel free to reach out to us. You can see the truck at GatewayClassicCars.com where you will be able to see over 100 HD photos and video or give us a call @ (913) 815-1340.

Description:

Offered for sale by our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is an extremely rare 1957 Jaguar XK140MC. This MC has been well taken care of, and is still capable of taking you anywhere needed! When the XK140 took over as Jaguars flagship sports car in 1954, it had a serious challenge, following in the tracks of the spectacular XK120. True, it looked a lot like the car it followed, but there were quite a few differences, too. The large bumpers and heavier cast grille may have taken away a little of the models inherent grace, but this new trim provided far better protection from the large Detroit behemoths that populated the sports cars largest market in America. And while the weight went up slightly, so did the power of the 3.4-liter, twin cam six, which was up to 190 horsepower in standard trim. As a result, performance remained on a par with its predecessor. The uprated engine was mated to the same four-speed manual unit used in the XK120, although overdrive was available. To view this numbers matching 1957 Jaguar XK140MC in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Custom! The iconic FOUR-FOUR-TWO has always meant something, and still does! It started as 4 barrel carburetor, and dual exhaust. Some enthusiasts will say the 2 stands for a limited-slip differential. Either way, we approve and are fans! This Cutlass does not have the original order sheet to see if it was ordered with the 442 package or not, but the build stands on its own. Standing tall and independent this car is not trying to compare itself to anything. Its a very unique build through and through with some of the best parts put to great use! The seller reports 6 coats of black followed by 6 coats of clear after the body was sanded and worked. Under the hood is a Merlin 540 cubic inch BIG block that has plenty of goodies cranking out an estimated 725 horsepower! Sitting on the intake fueling this monster are twin 650cfm Edelbrock carbs that peak out through an oval cut in the hood. The engine was purchased new in 2000 and upgraded in 2010. The transmission is a non-syncrhonized Jerrico drag race transmission - shes strong! The rear end is a Ford 9 with a Detroit Locker spinning a 3.50 gear. Its tough to find a weak link in the drive train! The exhaust is hearty and announces your presence. They are ‘1968 steel packs and the sound is unrivaled! The seller describes the car as a frame-off restomod and has a pretty extensive build sheet available. Looking inside and out the car is appears very little expense was spared, and estimated the building starts in the six figures. The hurst shifter is SO at home in the Cutlass. Most notably of all in the interior is a Hurst pistol grip shift knob borrow from the Mopar family. Hey - thats why its a restomod! This car may not win an originality contest, but it will win the smile contest! Note to buyer - verifying an original 442 can be difficult. The VIN decodes as a V8 Cutlass Coupe. This 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 is offered by the St. Louis sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website. Our listing all include 100+ HD photos and a detailed video! Description:

Distinct, intimidating, and genuinely rugged, this 1988 Land Rover Defender 90 is the ideal 4x4 to take you on a safari as early as tomorrow. But it is also such a looker, that we know you will enjoy it in-town, too. The Defender 90 follows the grand tradition of tough-as-nails Land Rovers, and you recognize it from the moment this one comes into view. It looks ready to take on the toughest terrain with the steel plated fenders and hood, tubular side steps, huge mud flaps, and tall 4x4 stance. And the rear hitch means you can tow the toys with you wherever you go. But even with all this tough off-road prowess, Land Rover gives you a reminder of its premium side, too. The white paint has the terrific gloss of a more modern investment, and the 16-inch black alloys rival the paint for shine. So, this one might be able to take you beyond the rail, but it also knows how to turn heads when rolling through downtown. The Defender 90 might have a timeless appeal, but it has been one of the most recent chapter in Land Rovers globetrotting book. So, you get the traditional robustness with some of the new upgrades. And you can really see that inside. High-back leather bucket seats up front, a comfortable center console w/cup holder, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input. But do not think amenities mean this Land Rover has gone soft. The interior has tough rubber matting for durability. Plus, with four individual jump seats, you get to choose between seating more people than a Jeep and having a place for secure cargo. Another great reason to have a Land Rover built for a foreign country is under the hood. We were never offered diesel power with the Defenders that were sold in the USA, and we all know diesel provides plenty of torque to get you through Mother Nature. So, it is great to see a 2.5-liter fuel-injected inline 4 under the hood, and in fact, its believed to be original to this Defender. This powerplant has earned a tough-as-nails reputation from the Scottish Highlands to Gibraltar, and because this has been a long-standing British motor, the parts are also widely available. The five-speed manual transmission gives you full control over the diesel power. Plus, the high ground clearance, the two-speed transfer case, and BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires assures that you can keep going even when the trail ends. But there is more to this Defender. The power steering reminds you that go-anywhere also means being easy to drive down Main Street. This is the legendary 4x4 that has both style AND substance. So, if you want to go everywhere and look great doing it, call today! This 1988 Land Rover Defender 90 is for sale by our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1967 Plymouth GTX for sale. This 1967 GTX is wearing fresh Black paint and a Red interior. This Plymouth is powered by a 426(478) CI V8. The transmission is a A833 manual both with approximately 4500 miles since rebuilt. The rear is a Dana 60 with 3:54 gears. The engine is a stroker with Hydraulic lifters and it runs great. The Hemi was an option in this car in 1967. This GTX was originally equipped with the 440 CI engine that was standard. This car is represented as being a rust free solid car. The paint work is over 5 years old and looks fresh. To the owners knowledge this car has all original body panels. In the 60s when Plymouth and Dodge started throwing big V8s into their cars they could be a little rough around the edges. The GTX was the sophisticated Mopar. Designed for the Gentleman who wanted to drive a muscle car. The GTX was based on the good-looking two-door Belvedere hardtop. The GTX was dressed up with a special grille and tail panel, simulated hood scoops, and chrome gas cap. The cabin was top-of-the-line, with bucket seats, embossed vinyl, and lots of brightwork. The dash in this car has a clean uncluttered sophisticated look. The shifter coming out of the floor with no console is all business and the column mounted tach tells you what that business is. Everything looks new inside this car from carpet to headliner. To view this 1967 Plymouth GTX in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is excited to offer this sharp 1981 Jeep CJ8. This 1981 Jeep Scrambler CJ8 is a sharp-looking 4x4. More than just stylish, you will love to discover that this has been LS swapped with a LQ4 6.0L V8. It makes for a better driver and makes it way more reliable. And theres even great paperwork to tell this Jeeps tale, too. So, the beauty of this Scrambler is far more than just skin deep. The iconic look of a CJ Jeep meets the utility of pickup - that is what makes the Scrambler so instantly attractive. But this one has much more going on here. The awesome Orange paint was given a high-quality respray. It has the kind of gloss and shine that really reminds you the advantages of discovering a well taken care of classic. Plus, the decal package is a comprehensive style that looks good against the deep orange. It highlights the style lines in the hood, fenders, and rockers. Plus, this two-tone complement the full brightwork package that includes the grille, bumpers, side mirrors, and 15-inch wheels (including the full-size spare in the bed.). This Jeep was born with desirable options, like the pricey hardtop and full doors. The interior shows more of the thoughtful care over the years. At first glance, it just looks like a preserved time capsule. But as you dig a little deeper, you see that the seats were reupholstered to look stock but are now a supple tan leather. The modern radio is put away in the center console. So, it makes it even better to open this one up to the world while driving all-day with your favorite music. A center console, tilt steering column, and a full set of new gauges - including tach - all make this a great driver. And as this Scrambler is, it still has all the right features for an outdoor lifestyle. It ranges from the rugged floor mats with deep channels to the safety of the color-matched roll bar. Under the hood is GM 6.0L LS Beast! This is quite a desirable powerplant because it has spent decades at the heart of the GM vehicle, and the presentation here is just as tidy and cared for as the rest of this Scrambler. You can tell from the full presentation that here has been a solid investment in the engine bay. But you will also see the right upgrades like Fox shocks and Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear axle. The two-speed transfer case and 37X14.50 tires give you true 4x4 capability. But far more than just a mud slinger, this CJ8 has great anytime driving features like power steering, Wilwood power brakes, and front discs. To view the Jeep CJ8 in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information, please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833 or e-mail us at Atlanta@GatewayClassicCars.com.

The first fruit of their collaboration at Ford was the 1969 Mustang, most notably the Boss 429 whose mission was to homologate the new 429/375 HP “Semi Hemi engine for NASCAR. Close on the heels of the “Boss Nine was the Boss 302, the purpose of which was to depose the Chevrolet Camaro (which, ironically, Shinoda had designed before leaving GM) from the SCCA Trans Am series throne it held in 1968 and 1969. The 1969 Boss 302 offered here from exemplifies the template by which the 1970 edition would secure the Trans Am title. Produced at the Dearborn Assembly Plant on May 26, 1969, it was sold new in South Carolina, one of 338 finished in Bright Yellow with a Black standard interior. The Boss 302 engine uses 10.5:1 compression, forged rotating assembly and high flow heads from the 351 Cleveland engine for a factory rating of 290 HP; the requisite Borg Warner 4-speed transmission and optional 3.91 Traction-Lok differential complete the Boss potent drivetrain. Special Handling Suspension, power front disc brakes and wide rubber on Argent painted Magnum 500 wheels made the Boss, in the words of Car & Driver magazine, “the best handling Ford to ever come out of Dearborn. Fully restored in 1988 and well cared for ever since, this exemplary Boss 302 comes complete with original service records and full receipts and ownership history with testimonials.
