Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is pleased to offer this beautiful 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. Mercury introduced the Cougar in 1967 as the Pony Car wars were in full swing. Mercury was reluctant to bulk up the Cougar and take on the muscle market, a place where rivals like the SS396 Camaro and Ram Air 400 Firebird had already begun staking territory. By 1969, the Mustang was knuckling against these two with its 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1, and Mercury could no longer sit on the sidelines. By mid-year, the division had jumped into the fray with the Eliminator. The name was taken from a Cougar show car and from the 1968 Cougar Eliminator funny car driven by “Dyno Don Nicholson. Management fathomed that racing exposure could heighten Mercurys profile with young performance buyers. Decked in bright colors, blacked out grilles, body stripes, spoilers and decals, the Eliminator was based on the standard Cougar and came with a choice of engines from mild to wild. This awesome bright baby blue 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator is powered by a 351 Cleveland V8 mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission. With a wonderful white, this is one groovy looking machine! Options on this 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator include Am/FM Radio, Spare Tire, Tilt Wheel, Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, and Competition suspension. Description:

Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this 1955 Ford F 100. Fresh from the Shop where it was totally restored and restomodded or as I like to say, restomadded! This Ford is the brainchild of some mad mechanic who wondered, what if I slide a 412 horsepower 5.0 Coyote engine in to a 1955 Ford F100!? The team that did the build on this Ford cranks out some of the sweetest street rods and are known to pay attention to the smallest items. This truck is stunning no matter the angle you look at it. The undercarriage has cost me at least an hour of time, staring with slight amounts of drool and amazement at the paint that appears to have been color sanded and buffed, who color sands and buffs the bottom of the floor pans and bed? Someone who cares about quality! Now, let talk about the undercarriage. 5 link tubular with coil overs in the rear, holding what I believe to be a 9 inch and wildwood slotted rotors and calipers to do the squeezing front and back. In the front Tubular A arms and coil overs to handle the bumps. The rims almost look stock but are in fact 20 inch with dog dish caps. The red with black fenders and running boards contrast perfectly, this is echoed with the leather interior which is black with red accents. Even the headliner appears to be suede. JL Audio supplies the sound with speakers and media master head unit cleverly built into the headliner keeping the dash looking factory fresh. So, you are thinking about a truck to do the hauling around the house, I mean, who likes to rent or borrow a truck when you need one? You know, something to haul gravel, topsoil or the new dining room suite, well, this is not the truck! I mean you could get that load of gravel home in a hurry but if you do, please do not let me know. Options for this 1955 Ford F100 include: Power brakes, Power steering, Power windows, anti-lock brakes Tilt steering wheel, Leather interior, Seat belts and positive traction, cause, you are going to need it! This 1955 F100 can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD photos at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is thrilled to offer this fierce 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. And yes, this Mopar is the hard-to-find Plum Crazy Purple! And with only 45 miles on the odometer! In response to Chevy and Fords modern-age pony car war, the Hellcat trampled the competition with its debut in 2015. This Mopar is ready to rock with retro styling including the familiar Challenger lines of this beast. Now for the good part, the heart, and soul of this performance machine, the supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi engine that growls through its factory exhaust system! This powerplant commands respect with its outrageous 707 horsepower making this one of the fastest American production cars in history. This Mopar has an eight-speed automatic transmission and along with 650-foot-pounds of torque it translates into burning rubber! From the hellish emblems to the smooth spoilers, this Dodge means business. Take note of the inner front driving light on the left front which has been converted to an air channel to get more cold air into this hungry engine! Gorgeous gray wheels pair very nicely with this muscle car and provide an intimidating appearance that would be sure to chase away any Camaro or Mustang (or pretty much anything on the road). Step inside the gorgeous black leather interior that features Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows, and an entertainment system with U-Connect touch screen and satellite radio capability! Before you strap in, heres a quick tip- the Hellcat is equipped with two separate key fobs; use of the black fob limits engine output to 500 horsepower, while the red fob enables full output of those 707 horses! According to Dodge, this car has a quarter-mile time of 10.85 seconds with street legal drag tires. Its your choice whether this car hits the strip or prowls on the streets. Whatever you do, just know youve made the right decision and a radical one at that youve chosen the HELLCAT! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this stunning 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Tribute. Look at this bad boy! The medium blue exterior, white stripes, tough stance, and muscular hood bulge- along with SS badging and those 454 emblems will net you plenty of thumbs up and compliments. 1970 is arguably one of THE most desirable looking years for Chevelle. The restorer did a great job on it, with the result being a very nice body, high-quality paint, great gaps, and clear attention to detail throughout. The black interior is in great condition and looks sharp with the buckets and console. Your personal time machine back to 1970! Driving is made easy with the automatic, power steering and power brakes. Additional comfort comes from an aftermarket air conditioning system. Modern tunes are there, just in case the sweet note of the meaty big block is not enough. A nice set of gauges were added to keep an eye on things. Powering this machine is GMs ZZ4 454 crate engine rated at 469 horses and 519 ft. lbs. of torque. That is as good and better than a 1970 LS5 454, in a more reliable, stronger package. Aluminum oval-port cylinder heads are mounted on GMs latest-generation block casting with four-bolt main caps, with an all-forged rotating assembly for higher strength and durability. Power and torque are fed through a TH400 3-Speed Automatic transmission with 2400 RPM stall converter. The transmission spins the 12-bolt rear axle housing with 3.73 gears throwing enough torque to shred the rear tires on demand. Pull out the Ray Bans, load the throttle & and show the kids what big-block American Muscle is all about. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air Wagon Restomod! Chevrolet made the Bel air from 1950-1975 and few realize that it had 7 generations during those 2.5 decades! Chevrolet was on fire with sales leading into the 5th generation and that success was only to continue. What you have here is a 1962 model, the 2nd year of gen 5. Specific distinctions were dropped for the wagons and they were grouped under the Bel Air moniker. This 62 is far from what rolled off the factory floor as it is a Restomod. Treated to a full frame off restoration and upgraded. More on that soon. As you walk around the car you see the nice Bronze and White Sherwin Williams paint. The cool matte finish look along with the great lines of the car really draws you in. The saddle leather interior is absolutely stunning! The bench seat provides a bucket seat feel with the built in console with cupholders. Under the hood is the well renowned LS1 5.7L V8 coupled to a 4L80E automatic transmission with a 3:73 rear end. Time for the additional highlighted upgrades. Frame and suspension components have been sandblasted and powder coated. Cpp A-arms, front and rear disc brakes, booster and master cylinder, gear box, raptor liner underbody, Brian Tooley cam, lifters and valve springs. The transmission has a shift kit and stall converter. Car has new glass, new bumpers, Dakota digital gauges, custom stereo system, Bluetooth, vintage air conditioning and heat, Ididit column and Lecarra wheel. The 18 and 20 2-piece Torque Thrust wheels give the car a great stance! Wagons are hot right now, and you certainly wont see another like this one while driving down the road. Restomods provide the classic look but with modern touches to dramatically increase reliability. Options on this Wagon are: A/C, Power Steering and Brakes, AM/FM Radio, Leather interior, and alloy wheels. This 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air Wagon Restomod is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1970 Dodge Challenger with a 4 speed Pistol Grip shifter! Most in the business have a soft spot for three pedals and eight cylinders and this beauty is no exception to that! Unlike the small blocks offered by GM and Ford the Mopar boys were really ahead of the curve with their 340. Hotrod.com decided to test the advertised horsepower figured and with their dyno testing a 4 barrel 340 was putting out 320 horsepower vs the advertised 275. Replace that 4 barrel set up with the 6 pack and those numbers creep up even further putting it neck and neck with the heavier 383. Long story short, despite being a small block, there is NOTHING wrong or lacking with a Mopar 340! This engine seems to be a prime example of a well-built and well-maintained engine with no concerning smoke, sounds, or behavior. Go back from the underrated small- block, to the 4 speed manual transmission, and round things off with the 3.55:1 Posi-Traction rear end! This is WINNING combination in a fantastic light blue color with a nice white interior! The exterior looks fantastic and shows no major wear and tear. The underside shows it has been driven and enjoyed, but not abused. This 1970 Dodge Challenger Pistol Grip is offered by the St. Louis sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website. Our listing all include 100+ HD photos and a detailed video! GatewayClassicCars.com Video: https://youtu.be/K9abo8lz-ZA

Description:

Rollin in with a custom green paint job is this cool 1990 Grand Wagoneer with 157,500 miles. An American classic that is about to see a new iteration, here is your chance to own an original. According to Hagerty, the 1986-1991 Grand Wagoneers have jumped to the top 10 most desirable cars, making them both highly sought after and rising in collectability. Made in a time of transition for parent company AMC, the Grand Wagoneer was the feature rich replacement to the full-sized Cherokee. Continuing the roots of its 25-year-old brethren, this SUV came with 4 doors, 4-wheel drive, and side wood panels. This example being a 1990 it is the second to last production year and the second least available, making it somewhat of a rarity. Those worried about missing out on some of the niceties of more modern rides need not fret. This Grand Wagoneer has the heart of a 04 Tahoe. This means the motor and drivetrain are that of a younger car, a 5.3 Vortec V8 to be specific. Follow that up with a professionally done frame off restoration and this is one slick ride. This cool SUV has power windows, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, cruise control, A/C, new radio/ sound system, keyless alarm, undercarriage lighting, new upholstery, carpet, soundproof mating, new water pump and radiator. It is just ready for someone that needs a sweet beach mobile to cruise it through sun and fun or with the 4X4 through snow. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to present this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko/SC clone at our Milwaukee location. The iconic Camaro was introduced in 1966 for the 1967 model year. Being designed by General Motors to directly compete with the Ford Mustang. During its long successful run Chevrolet has sold more than five million Camaros. The first generation Camaro ran from 1967-1969 offering trim packages including a standard, Super Sport and a Z28 model was added in the last half of 1967. In 1969 the Camaro received all new sheet metal except for the hood and deck lid, resulting in a much sportier look. New door skins and rear quarter panels gave the 69 Camaro a much wider/lower stance. Our 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko S/C Clone is a great example of the muscle car era. The Yenko package came to be because General Motors would not install engines larger than 400cu in, in their mid-size and smaller cars. Don Yenko heard the call for more power and started installing 427s into the Camaro producing a whopping 450hp. Only 106 of these gems were built. This 1969 Yenko Clone is as close as you will get to the real deal without the large price tag. Of course, under the hood is a 427 V-8 attached to a Muncie 4-speed transmission. A 12-bolt posi rear end with a 3.73 gear ratio makes this Camaro one mean machine. The unmistakable orange paint and Yenko Graphic package will turn heads where ever it goes. AN all new black vinyl interior invites you in to experience all thi9s 1969 Camaro has to offer. Options include power steering, power brakes, seat belts, American Racing wheels, raised white letter tires and aftermarket gauge package. Whether you are looking for your first classic Camaro or looking to add to your distinguished collection, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko/SC Clone is looking for a new home.

Accompanying the L98 is Power Brakes, Power steering, A/C, and a custom sound system on this stunning 1976 Datsun 280z. Nissan wanted to broaden their econobox image and responded with the Nissan S30 or 240z, 260z, 280z. The Zs sleek styling, modern engineering, relatively low price, and impressive performance generated amazing response with the public and soon had a long waiting list for orders. Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is Honored to present a rare offering, and getting rarer by the second, a 1968 Cordova Maroon, four-speed, Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, L71, 435 HP, 427 cubic inches of awesomess! In 1968 the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, also known as the Corvette C3, significantly revised from the linear with its knife-edge beltline, on the new 68 The front sloped steeply with pop-up headlights, and fenders were sharply crowned, creating the impression that the car was lower. The new model rode on the same wheelbase, but was seven inches longer than the previous model. Sales jumped to 28,566 vehicles and two thirds (18,630) were now convertibles, 8,735 with an optional hardtop ($232). Base price was $4,320 for the convertible and $4,663 for the coupe. The base powertrain was still the 300 bhp, 327 cubic inch small-block Chevy V-8 with a 3-speed manual gearbox, but 9,440 buyers stepped up for the 350 bhp L79 engine. There were also four 427 cubic-inch big-block engines to choose from, offering 390 bhp (L36), 400 bhp (L68), and 435 bhp (L71) - the latter with triple carburetors and the option of alloy heads. A total of 7,717 buyers chose the L36 motor, 1,932 the L68 and 2,898 the L71 - 624 adding alloy heads. Our stunning Cordova Maroon exterior with matching hard top, black interior, and black convertible top is a rare sight indeed! Out of 28,566 Corvettes produced this year, only 1,155 (4.04%) were painted Cordova Maroon. Out of the ten color options offered, this was the least produced. Combine this the rare powertrain option of L71, 427 cubic inch, 435 horsepower engine and a four-speed transmission, and its slim pickings to find a comparable example of this King of the Street Corvette. As far as options on our Corvette? There is a steering wheel, four-speed shifter, manual transmission, a gas pedal (the loud pedal) and power brakes. That is really all you need. Oh, there is a radio, but youll never hear it once you get out of second gear. Theres really not much more you can say about this terrific machine. If you are still reading, you know what we have here. If the stars are aligned for you and you can make this purchase, do it! So, if you have cat-like quickness, pounce! Call your friends in the classic car business in Kansas City at Gateway Classic Cars. Our number is (913) 815-1340. You can reach us Monday thru Saturday, 9 a.m. thru 5 p.m. cst.
