Description:

Offered for sale by our Chicago showroom is this beautiful 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. Powered by a 327 small block V8 with only 376 miles since new, this is a true “must-see. Given the nickname “Cherry Smash this Corvette has won national shows, been on the cover of magazines, and has been completely customized from top to bottom, inside and out. Starting with the 327 having been completely gone through and prepared for boost via the 4-71 Cragar supercharger blasting out an estimated 600+ horsepower. Being that this ‘Vette was never destined for the streets, the alternator was removed to eliminate as much parasitic drag from the engine as possible. Lots of Corvettes have big horsepower claims, but none of them have looks on par with this 1975 ISCA show winner. With a painted frame, chrome front straight axle, and custom veluer wrapped interior, including the roll cage, this Corvette just oozes style and is loaded with secret changes and upgrades from your standard 62 model. The front rims are still wrapped in perior correct Stahl tires, while a fresher set of rear slicks have been installed for safety. The 4-speed trans shifts like butter and is eager to be wound out and hammered ingo gear. The blower puts out the distinct whine that only a roots-style supercharger can deliver bringing a vintage sound to match the sights and smells of unburnt fuel and candy-metallic paint. This Corvette is full disco and is a true survivor of the glory days of drag racing and car shows. Options include: Manual Convertible Top, Seat belts, and Racing Wheels. For more information on this beautiful 1932 Chevrolet Corvette contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Offered for sale by our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is an extremely rare 1957 Jaguar XK140MC. This MC has been well taken care of, and is still capable of taking you anywhere needed! When the XK140 took over as Jaguars flagship sports car in 1954, it had a serious challenge, following in the tracks of the spectacular XK120. True, it looked a lot like the car it followed, but there were quite a few differences, too. The large bumpers and heavier cast grille may have taken away a little of the models inherent grace, but this new trim provided far better protection from the large Detroit behemoths that populated the sports cars largest market in America. And while the weight went up slightly, so did the power of the 3.4-liter, twin cam six, which was up to 190 horsepower in standard trim. As a result, performance remained on a par with its predecessor. The uprated engine was mated to the same four-speed manual unit used in the XK120, although overdrive was available. To view this numbers matching 1957 Jaguar XK140MC in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville Tennessee is proud to present a first generation 1960 C1 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This is not your average bear, packing a General Motors 383 CID V8 Stroker engine under the hood which is not even close to the power that was put out in the 60s. This sweet vette has not been on a dyno so I do not have exact Horsepower ratings, but I can tell you this machine will move! Backing this power-plant is a 5-speed manual transmission, what a great pairing because the regular 4-speed that came in this car just would not do. Now you can have the launch gear and the cruising gear for the times you want to take a longer than normal drive. The exterior is a two-tone combination, the soft vinyl top is black which pops against the Roman Red paint that has been glazed from one chrome bumper to the other. If that does not catch attention, then the sound of the V8 under the hood certainly will. You can enter this car 3 ways, hear me out now. One would be the conventional way of opening the door with the top up, second would be with the top down and just stepping in the car and sitting down or you could go full on dukes of hazard and jump the door into the cockpit.#3 not recommended! The interior of this 1960 C1 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is a soft and freshly done black vinyl that will grip on to you like a lizard on a wall, prepare for a good time once engaged into the driver seat. Kick on your favorite AM channel, drop the top and hit the roads knowing that the upgraded front disc brakes will get you to a stern stop if needed. This is the car for all car lovers unless you dont like awesome cars. Options on this 1960 C1 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible include: AM Radio, Manual Convertible top, Front disc brakes, Seatbelts, Soft vinyl interior, and radial tires that are wrapped around 5-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. This is a car that will not disappoint if you are wanting to make a point! For more information please feel free to call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or visit us on the web at Nashville@gatewayclassiccars.comSale held pursuant to permit No. 19289 of department of licenses granted the 14th day of August 2015.

Description:

Distinct, intimidating, and genuinely rugged, this 1988 Land Rover Defender 90 is the ideal 4x4 to take you on a safari as early as tomorrow. But it is also such a looker, that we know you will enjoy it in-town, too. The Defender 90 follows the grand tradition of tough-as-nails Land Rovers, and you recognize it from the moment this one comes into view. It looks ready to take on the toughest terrain with the steel plated fenders and hood, tubular side steps, huge mud flaps, and tall 4x4 stance. And the rear hitch means you can tow the toys with you wherever you go. But even with all this tough off-road prowess, Land Rover gives you a reminder of its premium side, too. The white paint has the terrific gloss of a more modern investment, and the 16-inch black alloys rival the paint for shine. So, this one might be able to take you beyond the rail, but it also knows how to turn heads when rolling through downtown. The Defender 90 might have a timeless appeal, but it has been one of the most recent chapter in Land Rovers globetrotting book. So, you get the traditional robustness with some of the new upgrades. And you can really see that inside. High-back leather bucket seats up front, a comfortable center console w/cup holder, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input. But do not think amenities mean this Land Rover has gone soft. The interior has tough rubber matting for durability. Plus, with four individual jump seats, you get to choose between seating more people than a Jeep and having a place for secure cargo. Another great reason to have a Land Rover built for a foreign country is under the hood. We were never offered diesel power with the Defenders that were sold in the USA, and we all know diesel provides plenty of torque to get you through Mother Nature. So, it is great to see a 2.5-liter fuel-injected inline 4 under the hood, and in fact, its believed to be original to this Defender. This powerplant has earned a tough-as-nails reputation from the Scottish Highlands to Gibraltar, and because this has been a long-standing British motor, the parts are also widely available. The five-speed manual transmission gives you full control over the diesel power. Plus, the high ground clearance, the two-speed transfer case, and BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires assures that you can keep going even when the trail ends. But there is more to this Defender. The power steering reminds you that go-anywhere also means being easy to drive down Main Street. This is the legendary 4x4 that has both style AND substance. So, if you want to go everywhere and look great doing it, call today! This 1988 Land Rover Defender 90 is for sale by our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (678) 894-4833 or email us at Atlanta@GatewayClassicCars.com. See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/ATL/1736/

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1967 Plymouth GTX for sale. This 1967 GTX is wearing fresh Black paint and a Red interior. This Plymouth is powered by a 426(478) CI V8. The transmission is a A833 manual both with approximately 4500 miles since rebuilt. The rear is a Dana 60 with 3:54 gears. The engine is a stroker with Hydraulic lifters and it runs great. The Hemi was an option in this car in 1967. This GTX was originally equipped with the 440 CI engine that was standard. This car is represented as being a rust free solid car. The paint work is over 5 years old and looks fresh. To the owners knowledge this car has all original body panels. In the 60s when Plymouth and Dodge started throwing big V8s into their cars they could be a little rough around the edges. The GTX was the sophisticated Mopar. Designed for the Gentleman who wanted to drive a muscle car. The GTX was based on the good-looking two-door Belvedere hardtop. The GTX was dressed up with a special grille and tail panel, simulated hood scoops, and chrome gas cap. The cabin was top-of-the-line, with bucket seats, embossed vinyl, and lots of brightwork. The dash in this car has a clean uncluttered sophisticated look. The shifter coming out of the floor with no console is all business and the column mounted tach tells you what that business is. Everything looks new inside this car from carpet to headliner. To view this 1967 Plymouth GTX in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom. The first fruit of their collaboration at Ford was the 1969 Mustang, most notably the Boss 429 whose mission was to homologate the new 429/375 HP “Semi Hemi engine for NASCAR. Close on the heels of the “Boss Nine was the Boss 302, the purpose of which was to depose the Chevrolet Camaro (which, ironically, Shinoda had designed before leaving GM) from the SCCA Trans Am series throne it held in 1968 and 1969. The 1969 Boss 302 offered here from exemplifies the template by which the 1970 edition would secure the Trans Am title. Produced at the Dearborn Assembly Plant on May 26, 1969, it was sold new in South Carolina, one of 338 finished in Bright Yellow with a Black standard interior. The Boss 302 engine uses 10.5:1 compression, forged rotating assembly and high flow heads from the 351 Cleveland engine for a factory rating of 290 HP; the requisite Borg Warner 4-speed transmission and optional 3.91 Traction-Lok differential complete the Boss potent drivetrain. Special Handling Suspension, power front disc brakes and wide rubber on Argent painted Magnum 500 wheels made the Boss, in the words of Car & Driver magazine, “the best handling Ford to ever come out of Dearborn. Fully restored in 1988 and well cared for ever since, this exemplary Boss 302 comes complete with original service records and full receipts and ownership history with testimonials. For sale in our Tampa showroom is this crazy fast 2006 Ariel Atom V2. The concept behind this pocket rocket is so simple, take a General Motors Ecotech 2.0-liter Stage 3 engine, double overhead cam 4 cylinder that is supercharged and turbo charged... Bolt a 5-speed manual transmission behind it and load the snappy power plant into an exoskeleton frame with very little in the way of extras like, GPS. Heated seat and body panels. Who needs all that stuff anyway?!? This little rocket has everything you need, three pedals, a shifter handle, steering wheel and a very angry 300 Horsepower 4 cylinder behind your shoulders. Now you guys that laugh at the “hold my beer and watch this.. joke know that this Ariel Atom 2 for sale must be improved, right? Well the owner of this Atom had the DDM Works® TWIN-CHARGED kit installed and made this little beast capable of almost 700 HP! This build has been meticulous to say the least and was undertaken with an absolutely no expenses spared approach. This V2 has only been driven about 7,000 miles since new and is ready to be enjoyed. This Ariel Atom has everything you need in a car, I mean who needs a roof when your car goes from a standstill to over 100 MPH and back to zero in less than 11 seconds!? Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to offer this one-off, custom 1968 Chevrolet C10 quad cab for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. As you can already see, this C10 is not your average restoration. The owner of this truck mated a 1968 C10 with a 68 Chevy Suburban to turn it into a 4-door truck. This truck shimmers in the light in its white exterior paintjob and features a black leather interior that GM fans will recognize with items such as the push start button and center console pulled from a 2013 Silverado truck. You will also recognize the GM wheels on this 1968 C10 for sale that really make this thing pop. It has also been converted to 4-wheel disc brakes. Under the hood of this awesome build is a reliable 4.8l Vortec V8 engine from the same 2013 Silverado that produced around 295hp from the factory. Headers, hi-flow cats and a custom exhaust probably improve this number and certainly make this 1968 C10 for sale sound better. The transmission backing the motor on this build is a rebuilt 4L60E 4-speed automatic with less than 1000 miles on it. Trucks are getting big in the classic car world and there is almost nothing out there that compares with a build like this! There are so many more details to discuss on this fantastic and unique 1968 Chevrolet C10 for sale, so why not give us a call on it today at (623) 900-4884. Alternatively, we will always be quick to respond to any email inquiries sent to scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/SCT/451/1968-Chevrolet-C10

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this owner-documented numbers matching 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. There is a lot to like about this car - in fact there is everything to LOVE about this car! There is not a big enough word count to show off this car in every single detail, but we will hit some highlights. Under the hood of this beast is a Chevrolet 302 cubic inch motor backed up by a M-21 4-speed transmission. Per the provided owner documentation, the engine, transmission, and 12 bolt posi-traction rear end are all not only numbers matching components but born with original to car. All critical components, and many auxiliary pieces have either been rebuilt by hand or rebuilt by industry professional to OEM standards. The exhaust was tastefully upgrade to Gardner - the penultimate exhaust system for these first gen Camaros - and the chrome exhaust tips are correct for late production vehicles - the build of this car has been traced back to the fifth week of September in 1969. General Motors produced the 302 in order to complete with the SCCA <5.0 liter engine requirements. From the factory performance numbers were intentionally underrated at 290HP at 5800RPM. Most Z28 fans know these 302s rev beyond 5800RPM, but few know the exact limits. Most drivers were confident revving up to 7,000RPM and some brave enough to go beyond. Simple fact is this rough and tumble cam is begging the driver to show the right pedal some love! Beyond the rarity of a true Z28 in this condition, is the yellow houndstooth interior. We are unclear on how many Z28s were produced with the yellow houndstooth, but we do know there cannot be many left in this condition. All of the restoration photos, and firewall tag verify and validate every claim this car has. The entire drivetrain has been rebuilt and carries less than 200 miles on the build that occurred from 2010 to 2013. The mileage is enough to shake out any gremlins, but low enough to be a fresh driver for the new owner. Also available for viewing is the original shipping document, original pre delivery service/adjustment sheet, protecto-plate, and original order sheet. We beg and implore you to not miss out on this opportunity. We believe there is not another opportunity like this car out there, and this is the first time in 10 years this car has been offered for sale. Any questions that can be asked we have answer available. Let us make this car yours! This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1957 Ford Ranchero. This 1957 Ranchero for sale has been restored to near perfect condition. This Ranchero has under gone a complete frame off restoration were every tiny thing was cleaned, rebuilt, repaired, repainted and reinstalled. The current owner then had custom badges made for the car to rename it a Rodchero. As you open the front hinged hood of this classic beauty it becomes obvious that money never entered the mind of the guy who planned and then built this car. Sitting inside this decked out compartment is a 351 Cubic inch ford small block that is pushing approx. 390 horsepower. It is easy to see the muscle bulging, with a set of headers, and a Demon® 4-barrel carburetor and Mallory® unilite electronic distributor. Backing this Blue Oval power plant is a C6 3 speed automatic transmission that has a 3000-stall converter ready to help you shred some tires. Holding up the back in of this ’57 Ranchero for sale and dividing the power to the rear tires is the bullet proof 9-inch axle housing a 390:1 gear set. Now in my opinion the Ranchero is the best of both worlds (kind of like a mullet) car in the front and truck in the back.
