Several different models of Excalibur have been produced throughout its 3-decade span, including the Phaeton, the Royal, and the Roadster. Referred to as The car of the stars, the Excalibur is noted for being owned by a number of celebrities including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Gleason, and Ronald Reagan, to name a few. This Roadster is equipped with its factory Chevy 305 CID v8 engine. General Motors answer to fuel efficiency in the form of 8 cylinders. The famous GM engine found in Camaros, Corvettes, and Trans Ams of the era. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic. Hard to picture anyone having to shift gears in a car this luxurious. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this charming 1962 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Oldsmobile had won a reputation for itself at General Motors by leading the way in engineering breakthroughs, such as Hydra-Matric automatic transmission, first seen on the 1940 models, and the modern high compression Rocket ohv V-8 engine that debuted in 1949. Debuting for 1961 the F-85 Cutlass was marketed as one of GMs upscale senior compacts. Related to the Buick Special and Pontiac Tempest, it was built on a highly innovative for its day unibody frame. This 62 hardtop is quite a looker dressed in a stunning shade of red with white roof. As you walk around the vehicle youll notice nice details like the front end bright work and intact trim pieces. Take a seat inside and youre greeted to a spacious and well appointed cabin. Eye catching red vinyl really makes the interior pop and the gauges are set up well for driving. Under the hood is Oldsmobiles all-aluminum, 215 cubic inch Rockette V-8. Boasting a hearty 185hp and spinning with a compression ratio of 10.25:1 this was one advanced engine for the time. Description:

Recently completed: New Shocks, Power Steering added, double fans for better cooling, new tires, engine rebuilt before Autumn 2020. Our Louisville Showroom is proud to offer this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible. The Galaxie name was used on Fords full-size cars from 59 to 61 to try and cash in on the excitement of the space race. Starting in 1962 they added the 500 and 500 XL to the name plate in order to denote its top of the line cars. Competing head to head with Chevrolets Impala SSs, the full-size convertible market was very tough but the Fords held their own all the way to 1974 when the line was finally discontinued. This beauty is a great example of what the 60s were all about. The body of the car is extremely nice and is believed to be retaining its original panels. The Skylight Blue paint looks like glass and is probably nicer than when she left the factory. The black vinyl top looks great but lets face it this car is all about top down fun. Especially when they see whats under the hood. This numbers matching Z code 390 is one of the most sought-after engines for 1964. Backed by a Hurst 4 speed transmission this Galaxie screams 1960s. The inside of this big block drop top is one of the nicest I have seen. The dark blue is a great contrast against the light blue exterior. The bucket seats are separated by a center console with the 4-speed shifter right where it should be. All in all, this 64 is a great example of a 500XL that can be driven as much as you care to drive it. This 390 500XL only has 1000 miles since the restoration and is ready for the next owner to turn the key and smash the gas. Options on this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible include, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Powered Convertible Top, Wire Wheel Hub Caps and White Wall Radial Tires. Description:

This 1970 AMC Javelin SST Mark Donohue is believed to be a tribute but the owner claims this car was raced in the early stages of its life. Supposedly starting out as a 304 ci powered Javelin, it has since been turned into what it is today. The 360ci V8, automatic transmission and front power disc brakes give this Javelin the feel of serious sports cars! This high compression 4 Barrel 360 V8 is believed to put down around 290hp, and the owner believes that it contains a racing cam, and Edelbrock Carb and a Posi rear end as well. Additionally, the story of the Mark Donohue Javelin is fascinating, making this example an interesting buy. AMC needed to take action in the late 60s. The Ford Mustang was the popular boy at school, and American Motors needed a car that could do more than just fit in. Designs were drafted and the production result was the stylishly simple Javelin. It went Trans-Am racing in 1968, began to find its groove over the next years, and with the help of Roger Penske and racer Mark Donohue, became a championship winning car. Donohue, one of the most brilliant race drivers of the time, had been a successful campaigner in Trans-Am Javelins and lent his name to this new series, which was essentially a Trans-Am Javelin SST with a thick-walled 360 V-8, 290 hp engine and a distinctive ducktail spoiler at the rear of the car along with a replica of Mark Donohues signature on the right side of the spoiler. American Motors met the letter of the SCCA rules by producing an estimated 2,501 Mark Donohue Javelin SSTs, making them a rare muscle machine today. In order to compete in that years Trans-Am season, AMC needed to homologate 2,500 Javelin street cars, which featured the many of the performance and aerodynamic elements of the Javelin race car, most notably the ducktail spoilers (designed by Donohue himself). AMC obliged with a 2,501 car production run and offered SST Donohue models with dual exhausts, power front disc brakes, ram-air induction, a four-speed Hurst shifter or a console shift automatic, a special handling package, and your choice of either the 360ci or 390ci V8.Documenting an original Mark Donohue car is difficult, because theres basically no way to confirm it other than the window sticker and other dealer paperwork. Nothing in the vehicle identification number or door data tag identifies it; and while some AMC diehards insist a number 4 typed in the ASC (Automatic Speed Control) box on the build sheet is a sure sign of the Donohue package, because the 1970 Javelin wasnt offered with ASC, it has never been verified.Complicating the matter is the fact that the big rear spoiler was available over the counter, and AMC encouraged dealers to accessorize the cars in their inventories. That makes it impossible to know how many 70 Javelins rolled off the lot with rear spoilers, although only 2,501 were officially Donohue editions.

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer for sale this nifty white 1978 Toyota Bandeirante (J40 series). The second generation Bandeirante OJ40/OJ45 Series (1968 to 1973), OJ50/OJ55 Series (1973 to 1994) and BJ50/BJ55 Series (1994 to 2001) are J40 series cars built in Brazil by Toyota do Brasil Ltda from 1968 to 2001. Identical to the BJ40 in almost every respect, it had a few stylistic modifications to the grille (models produced from 1989 on featured square headlights, instead of the round ones used before) and used Mercedes-Benz OM-314/OM-324/OM-364 diesel engines (replaced by Toyota 14B inline 4 direct injection Diesel engine in 1994) for much of its production life; another visible major characteristic are the entire hind doors (like at Land Rover) rather than the traditional Toyota two-wing hind doors at the Bandeirantes hard top models.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Land_Cruiser_%28J40%29) This Bandeirante has a newer grill (with the square headlight configuration found in 1989 and later years), and other enhancements. Sporting a 12,500 pound winch, roof luggage rack with side access ladder, brush guard, deep water fording snorkel kit, new rubber fender lips, comfortable synthetic leather seating surfaces on the custom front sport buckets up front and the rear bench, and a Pioneer AM/FM head unit, it has what you need to get far off-road and enjoy the trip. Powered by a 3.8L diesel backed by a 4-speed manual transmission, it has the torque and gear ratios to go almost anywhere. With its deep-lugged 265/70R16 All-Terrain radial tires wrapping its 16 silver wheels, you can get into some pretty hairy places if you desire. Toyota J-series aficionados will not want to let this one slip past their grasp!
