Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this amazing 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Pro-Street restomod for sale. Covered in an eye-popping yellow with white racing stripes paint scheme, it is pops out of the crowd at any car show! And thats even before you crank it up - when this beast lights off, it doesnt matter what color it is, everyone will turn to see whats making that huge snarl. Powered by a 6.2L LS3, backed by a 6-speed automatic transmission, this is one mean ProStreet car, and with only about 500 miles on the drivetrain, this nasty Camaro has plenty of driving still to be done. The LS3 is enhanced by a Cold Air Intake, bigger throttle body and injectors, and Brian Tooley Stage 3 cam, which has a significant lope, and provides tons of top-end power. So much so, that when you hit its sweet spot, youll swear it feels like it has nitrous (which it doesnt, but oh my, itll thrill you)! Spent gases are scavenged by a set of ceramic coated DynaTech headers into the huge dual exhaust. The 6-speed automatic is enhanced with the addition of a 3800 RPM stall converter and has been built to handle the prodigious power that the LS3 is now putting out. An Aerospace Components Pro-Eliminator ratchet shifter handles the gear selection and provides a clean clutter-free look on the transmission tunnel. A massive BeCool aluminum radiator (with its twin Spal electric fans) helps keeps the mill running cool all day long, and a horizontally mounted trans cooler out back (also with its own fan) helps keep the trans cool as well. A gigantic Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump handles fuel transfer from the fuel cell out back up to the front, and an inline pressure gauge helps tuners monitor the fuel pressure. A complete Holley pulley kit makes for easy implementation of belt-driven accessories, including the Classic Auto Air A/C setup, which provides excellent cockpit cooling in a car that never had it from the factory. A completely new wiring harness also bodes well for reliability. This 1967 Camaro rides and drives like no one would have ever expected when it was built in 1967, because the suspension and brakes have been enhanced with lightweight upper and lower control arms, coil-over shocks at all 4 corners, twin-piston Aerospace Components brake calipers all around, drilled brake rotors, a Wilwood master cylinder (with proportioning valve), welded-in subframe connectors, adjustable rear ladder bar suspension, and a complete Strange Engineering Ford 9-inch style third member. The Strange third member is housing a Detroit Locker differential with 33 spline Strange Engineering axles, and 4.10:1 gears; so, its got plenty of beef to handle getting that twist to the pavement. The four-point roll cage helps further stiffen the body against the massive torque twist that the drivetrain can apply through the car. Billet Specialties aluminum wheels at all 4 corners are wrapped in 26X8.00R15LT Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R radials up front, and P325/50R15 Mickey Thompson E/T Street Drag Radials out back. Inside the cockpit, youll quickly notice the yellow/black/white motif carries over nicely. From the custom white door panels, to the new white synthetic leather seating surfaces, to the new black carpet, its obvious that the car has been used very sparingly. A wood-rimmed Grant steering wheel sits atop a tilt column, and nicely frames the high-end Dakota Digital electronic gauge cluster. The left side houses the big speedo with individual sub-gauges for the fuel level and coolant temp, and the right is the tach with its subsidiary oil pressure and battery gauges. The gauge cluster can be programmed to monitor or provide additional driving information in the digital sectors at the bottom of each major gauge. The center stack houses the controls for the Classic Auto Air (with both heat and A/C), plus the vintage style AM/FM radio (which isnt hooked up). Once you get your bearings inside, fasten the seat belts (front occupants only), fire it up, and get motoring! If youre looking for a turn-key Pro-Street 1st gen Camaro, you cant go wrong with this one. Its ready to rock your world, so grab it before someone else does. This…this is a very, very bad idea. The thing about bad ideas, though, is that more often than not, they are a lot more fun than “good” or “safe” ideas. Bad ideas result in great things like spud guns, human-powered flying machines, flaming tequila shots, and this, a 1988 Yugo GV ......... YET THIS BABY SURVIVED ALL THESE YEARS!!!!!

Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City is thrilled to offer one of the meanest street machines built in 2008, a Ford Mustang Roush 428R, in, yes, Pristine condition! And how did this special edition Mustang remain in such a state of superiority all these years? We can start and end with a very protective owner, and the only owner this Mustang has ever had! This is the condition of vehicle that car collectors gravitate to! Like all 428Rs, our stunning Performance White and blue 428R pumps out over 435 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque - thats 8 more horses and 9 more lb-ft than the previous 427R. Under the hood, a chrome powerdercoated Roushcharger can be found, and billet radiator, oil, intercooler, and strut tower caps are all thrown in for good measure. A performance exhaust system not only frees up the last few horses, but also ensures the 428R has the bark to back up its bite. A five-speed manual or automatic transmission sends the power to the rear wheels. When the road gets twisty, Roush has the 428R covered there as well. Nearly the entire suspension was revamped from the previous model with the addition of firmer shocks, springs, and sway bars both front and rear. Jounce bumpers and anti-wheel hop kits have also been fitted, while 18-inch Roush wheels with high-performance tires are included as standard. Cosmetically, theres no mistaking the 428R front fascia and chin spoiler, gaping hood scoop, and rear lip spoiler all suggest this is no ordinary Stang. Of course, the special Roush decals, hood pins, and black high-flow grille are present to lay the last bit of doubt to rest. Inside the 428R, a Roush leather sports steering wheel, short throw shifter with retro ball knob, and white electroluminescent gauge panel finish off the cars aggressive image. And, besides all of this, this 428R is #71 of only 200 built in 08! If you are reading this, so are possibly hundreds and maybe thousands of others in the World looking for an awesome, highly collectible Mustang. If you think a nicer 428R is going to come around, think again! Please call your Classic Car Dream Connection at Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City and we will be happy to provide you with the documents required to make this dream car yours! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1976 Volkswagen Westfalia. Though it may look like a van from the outside this vehicle is more like a time machine ready to take you back to 1976. Finished in an eye popping Marigold paint you will not miss this driving past you. If simply seeing this vehicle doesnt put a smile on your face, sliding open the side door will. What youll find is a nice little home away from home. Seating, a table for dining, a bed for sleeping, heck, even a sink and stovetop for putting together your favorite recipes. The decor is period correct with green plaid upholstery and wood veneer paneling and cabinetry. This HOT 1967 Buick GS 400 Convertible in our showroom, has a stunning Red Exterior paint finish, that has a great shine to it and will certainly turn heads as you drive down the street. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1961 Pontiac Bonneville! The Bonneville remained Pontiacs costliest and most luxurious model throughout the 1960s. The distinctive protruding grille made its appearance on all Pontiac products during the early 1960s. The Bonneville differed from its lesser Catalina and Star Chief counterparts by featuring more luxurious interior trim with upgraded cloth and Morrokide vinyl or expanded Morrokide upholstery in sedans and coupes, expanded Morrokide in Safari wagons and genuine leather seating in convertibles. Bonnevilles (with the exception of Bonneville Safari station wagons) were also (along with Star Chiefs) built on a longer wheelbase version of GMs B-Body. Also found in the Bonneville were instrument panels and door panels with walnut veneer trim, carpeted lower door panels, grab bar on the passenger side of the dash and courtesy lights and a rear arm rest. Bonneville models were standard equipped with Hydra-Matic (through 1964) or Turbo Hydra-Matic (1965-on) automatic transmissions. Other options included power steering and power brakes as well as air conditioning. Other popular options included power windows, power seats, radio, cruise control, and 8-lug aluminum wheels (This one has them!) that included integral brake drums for improved stopping power. The Bonneville also had more powerful standard V8 engines than other full-sized Pontiacs including the 389 cu in (6.4 l) (this one is an Original Tri-Power) or 400 cu in (6.6 l) V8s with four-barrel carburetors (power ratings of 303 to 340 hp (226 to 254 kW) depending on year) with many optional V8 offerings available including Tri-Power (three two-barrel carburetor) options on both the 389 cu in (6.4 l) and 421 cu in (6.9 l) V8s that offered up to 376 hp (280 kW) through 1966. For 1963 only<1963 Pontiac shop manual>, Pontiac also offered the 421 cu in (6.9 l) Super Duty with two four-barrel carburetors, rated at 425 hp (317 kW), as a US$2,250 option (when the base Bonneville listed at US$3,349) (SOURCE Wikipeda) The engine has been bored .030 over with a mild cam. Description:

Now available at our PHILLY location is this beautiful 2006 Hertz Mustang GT. This retired rent-a-racer racked up just 9600 miles before being retired from rental duty. It now has 9859 total miles making it one of the lowest mileage Hertz cars that we have seen. There was a time in the late 1960s when $17/day would put you behind the wheel of a genuine Shelby GT350H.They were available at select locations across the country. There are endless tales of GT350H’s returning to the rental lots with worn tires, roll bar mounts or holes in the floor, even entirely different engines. It’s hard to say how many of those stories are true but the cars became known as Rent-A-Racers. The name stuck and the cars that survived their rental duties intact are worth a mint today. To commemorate these legendary cars, Shelby created the 2006 GT-H. Number 222 of just 500 produced. It still has the original Pirelli Zero Nero tires with 7-8 32nds tread remaining. They are practically new. The 2006 Mustang GT-H is sure to follow in the footsteps of the GT350H.and climb in value as years’ pass. If you missed out owning one of the first Hertz cars, don’t miss your chance at redemption! This vehicle also includes the Shelby dash plate. Indicating that this is number 222. It has never been installed on the car as the original vinyl version is still in place. Also included is the matching Shelby key tag with car id. This car also has the optional Sirius tuner with Hertz logo. Lift the hood and you’ll find one Ford’s venerable 4.6L modular motors. As a 2006 model, this is the 24V SOHC equipped with variable camshaft timing. These engines turned out a respectable 300hp in stock trim but, of course, nothing leaves Shelby without upgrades. For the GT-H, that comes in the form of a Ford Racing Power Pack. First, the ECU is flashed for a more aggressive timing curve. Next, breathing is made easy through a 90mm cold air intake, free-flowing mufflers and an X-pipe that replaces the more restrictive H-pipe. The upgrades add roughly 25hp and 10lb. ft. of torque. The engine fires up with ease and sounds killer through the revised exhaust system. To view this 2006 Ford Mustang in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ.
