Description:

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Pro-Street is the ultimate expression of high-performance, with race-grade equipment and show car looks. This car has the stance, and the attitude to back it up. The stunning black paint is show quality and is complimented by a set of very well done white racing stripes. Chrome bumpers fore and aft add some contrast, with dark-tinted windows to complete the look. There arent many cars that are more perfectly proportioned than the early Camaro, and the Pro-Street treatment on this one only enhances what is already a slam-dunk design. All of the car is steel with the exception of the hood and trunk lid car and hasnt been radically modified, although a few behind-the-scenes changes were definitely required to get those large meats under the rear fenders. If this were a full race piece, thered be a bare-bones interior with a single bucket. But in Pro-Street, full interiors are part of the package. High-back Procar buckets are upholstered in black leather, there are beautiful carpets on the floor, and the stock door panels keep with the classic look. In place of the rear seat is a set of fully upholstered wheel tubs that look like they were done to factory specs when the car was new. The original dashboard has been refinished, too, and now carries a beautiful set of Auto Meter Pro Comp gauges in the original pods ahead of the driver. But the crossover to race spec doesnt mean youre roughing it, because theres plenty of sound-deadening material inside. The floor mounted ratchet shifter manages a built TH400 3-speed automatic transmission, and a small diameter steering wheel fits the look. In back, the trunk is pretty much full of wheel tubs, a fuel cell, and a battery, and the workmanship of the install is very impressive. Youll get the picture when you open the hood and find a thundering 502 cubic inch big block sporting a Holley. Finished in more polished aluminum parts than youll find at a Goodguys show, its a street-legal piece that thinks it was built for the track. Theres a pair of ceramic coated long tube headers, and an MSD ignition in addition to all the stout goodies inside. The reinforced chassis carries a coil-over front suspension and a 4-link that carries a narrowed Ford 9” rear end with 4.11 gears inside, so nobody can accuse this of being a race-only piece. Wilwood disc brakes live at all four corners and the full exhaust system sounds simply spectacular. Rolling stock consists of Billet Specialties aluminum wheels with 165/80R15 radials up front and 31x18.5x15 Hoosier Quick Time meats out back. You can view this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

The Louisville Showroom is proud to offer this beautiful one of a kind Tuxedo black 1955 Chevrolet Cameo! The luxury truck market has really caught fire the past decade. Many believe that this is something new but it was something that GM had tried many decades ago. The Cameo was really the first truck that put styling and comfort before the utility of the vehicle. This Cameo was built with that in mind and the finish product will hopefully not be seen with a load of hay in the back anytime soon. The truck was a ground up build with attention detail being top ion the list. It was a rust-free CA truck to begin with making this a nice candidate. The first thing you notice about this beauty is the paint. “Phantom Black Pearl as it is known as has a ton of flake in it giving the truck that sparkle look when the sun hits it. With all of the stainless steel polished to a bright luster this truck just screams 1950s. The all new tinted glass is just another one of those attention to details that most would overlook. Under the hood is a Chevy small block with ported and polished heads give this 55 a lot more power than its original 265. The vintage finned valve covers give under the hood a great look while the stainless-steel fasteners keep with the whole attention to detail. The ride quality comes courtesy of a Heidts mustang II style frontend with power assisted rack and pinion steering. Open the door and the interior of the truck is the nice complement to the exterior. The leather bench seat has been molded in such a way that it feels like you are sitting in your own bucket. Each side has its own little pocket if you will, keeping you nice and planted. If you have been wanting something different but something mainstream this 55 Cameo. The 3100 Big Widows are extremely popular but this one has the Cameo factor making it extremely different. Options on this 1955 Chevrolet Cameo include; AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Leather Interior, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels and Radial Tires. This gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet Cameo is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. This 1956 Chevrolet 210 Handyman Wagon is powered by a Fuel Injected 5.3L Vortec V8 engine, backed by a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, running to a single-pull rear end with 3.56 gears. The 5.3L V8 has a LS1 intake plenum added along with Sanderson Headers running out to a dual stainless steel exhaust system that sounds absolutely amazing. It was then painted in a Hot Huse Dragon Fire Red and Leaf Silver color. To make a more streamlined appearance the divider trim on the sides and the rear Vs were removed. The fins on the hood mounted bird were also removed and the front and rear bumpers were changed to smoothies. The interior is also just as impressive with a two-tone red and grey theme throughout matching the exterior colors. The factory bench seats were retained and covered in leather as well as the door panels, the center line of the dash was marbleized for a custom touch, and a Dakota Digital gauge set was put in to monitor the vitals. Description:

Alright Camaro fans- have we got a nice one for you! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this HOT 1969 Camaro.... wait for it... born a real X77 Z28 per the owner! It gets even better- it sports a massive aluminum-head 500 cid big block Chevy w/Eage rotating assembly, tied to a stout TCI THM 400 trans. The 9 Ford rear end and 4:56-1 gears means you better grab something solid and HANG ON. These first gen Camaros are always a favorite, and this 69 really stands out. It is a quality build and will get a lot of attention. The PG two stage burgundy paint looks sharp, as do the weld aluminum racing wheels and striping. It also features added (fixed) RS hideaway headlamps- a bit of icing on the cake! 69 Camaros were the end of the first gen run, before being replaced with the larger, heavier 70-81 body. The first gen versions have been a street / strip favorite since inception 53 years ago. The idea was to give Mustangs a run for their money and did they ever! And when Don Yenko got ahold of them and dropped a mean 427 big block between the fenders, well, the rest was history. Today we have more parts available for these cars than we did when they were 10 years old, making restoration and customization easy and affordable. If you are looking for one nice, wicked 69 Camaro, look NO further. This one is a crowd pleaser and something to be very proud of. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale through our Ft. Lauderdale Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this stunning Inferno Orange Metallic 2011 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS/RS. The 6.2 liter aluminum V8 engine produces just over 400 horsepower… in factory form. This Camaro was originally a demo model for the first 6,600 miles or so, until it was purchased by the first titled owner. The modifications immediately began, and the power level just kept climbing. The project started innocent enough, with an exhaust system and an aftermarket camshaft to eliminate the finicky displacement on demand feature that is known to have lifters fail. Soon enough, the car was capable of running low 10-second times in the ¼ mile legally at the strip. Air is pulled in through the Heritage badgeless grille, working its way into the intake tract before being stuffed through the 2.8L Mammoth Kenne Bell supercharger. It is force-fed through the worked-over cylinder heads, then back out through the Stainless Works long-tube headers into the Stainless Works exhaust making an incredible sound, and an estimated 600+ rwhp. While the factory 6L80E 6-speed automatic would have handled the power for a while, the decision was made to upgrade it to aftermarket 6L90E specifications with a PATC transmission upgrade kit to avoid any potential future issues. All of the work into that engine does no good if it can’t get put to the ground effectively. As the old adage goes “Spinnin’ ain’t winnin’.” One of the first sets of PFADT Stage 1 Drag Racing Kit was installed to help eliminate wheel hop and stop the control arms from twisting, allowing for a more effective and safer launch. A set of Weld rims wrapped in sticky Mickey Thomson tires really brings the 60’ times down, and the aftermarket chassis stiffeners keep the body from twisting itself into a pretzel. Pop the trunk and see the custom ice tank/fuel cell combo and Optima red top battery. Stepping inside the cabin and nestle yourself in the Corbeau seats with Recaro 5-point harnesses and you will already feel the adrenaline pumping. The Roll cage will keep you safe from any potential mishaps, either on the road or on the racetrack. This modern-muscle has had a full race treatment, but was designed to maintain its streetability as much as possible. Options include: Air-Conditioning (available, but not installed), AM/FM/CD Player. Cruise Control, GPS, Power Brakes, PowerSteering, Power Locks, Power Sunroof, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, Traction Control, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Drivers/Passengers Airbag, Anti-Theft System, Cloth Interior, and Racing Wheels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present a selection of gas dragsters Gassers in our Indianapolis showroom. This model, Shazam, is a 1933 Willys replica B/Gas dragster powered by a 355 Chevrolet driving through a 350 Chevrolet automatic transmission to a 12 bolt rear end with a 3.83:1 ratio. The body is all fiberglass on a custom frame with a roll cage. Paint is PPG orange metalflake with a yellow and green stripe, the interior is in green sparkle vinyl. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term Gasser refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. These cars typically competed in heads up drag races that were classed by engine size and car weight. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look. These cars became fan favorites as the well-known racers began to run grudge matches for higher purses. In no time these matches were the top billing at many shows due to the crowd entertainment factor. Gassers were the top drag racing classes in the period that is now referred to as the gasser war years, which ranged from 1955 through 1968.In addition to the straight axle, most gassers also sported Halibrand wheels, no front bumper, and had a front mounted Moon tank. The gasser form was dictated by function and most builders looked to eliminate as much weight as possible. Having their exhaust pipes exit through the front fender to shorten the length of exhaust tubing is another common characteristic of gassers. Builders used 1930s through 1950s production coupes or sedans to create these highly modified racing vehicles. The most common base vehicles were Willys coupes, Austin and Anglia sedans, and the Chevy Tri-Five cars. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present a collection of gas dragsters Gassers in our Indianapolis showroom. This one, Slimer, is a 1941 Willys coupe fiberglass body on a custom frame powered by a 355 Chevrolet engine driving through a 400 Turbo transmission. It is a C/Gas dragster with a 9 Ford Posi rear end with a 3.83:1 ratio. It has seat belts, leather racing seats, and Cragar wheels. Since it is a street or strip vehicle, it features an AM/FM CD player. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. To view this gas dragster, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. The Shelby line of Mustangs were purpose-built race cars using a highly modified 289 with a large 4 barrel and a hi rise They were all 4 speed cars with a 9 inch rear-end. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this wonderful 1940 Buick Super 8 convertible for sale on consignment right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. 1940 was the first year for these mesmerizing full-size Buicks, which were produced on GMs C Body platform (shared with Cadillac Series 62 and Oldsmobile 90). This really is a stunning vehicle and although cosmetic repairs have been done, it retains a lot of value by remaining mostly original. Painted in “Casino Beige, your friends will think youve hit the jackpot when they see you rolling in this drop top Super 8. The fender skirts, split windshield and Firestone white wall tires are a sign of the times but this car wouldnt be the same without them. This Buick Super 8s convertible top has new fabric and comes with a matching Tan boot cover for a finishing touch. Under the dual side opening hood is Buicks 248 “Fireball inline 8-cylinder motor that purrs into life every time you push the start button. Yes, this 1940 vehicle has a “push to start that replaces the traditional floor starter and almost passes off as a factory original item! A 3-speed “three on the tree manual transmission with the shifter located on the column is authentic and has the benefit of adding room inside this ‘40 Buick. It wouldnt be right to overlook some of the quirky interior features of this luxo-barge either; luxurious Red leather bench seats front and rear, the steering wheel looks like it came out of a sailing boat and is covered in chrome with a horn ring, the equally bright chrome dash with stock gauges/instruments and the large clock on the passenger side with functioning AM radio. Perhaps the most notable time capsule feature is the ashtray and lighter built into the dash and the two additional ashtrays for back seat passengers.. oh, how times have changed!
