Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is awestruck to offer a gorgeous 1956 Chevrolet 210 that appears to be dipped in beautiful Candy Brandy wine paint! The Chevrolet Two-Ten, or 210, was the midrange model of the Chevrolet car from 1953 to 1957. It took its name by shortening the production series number (2100) by one digit in order to capitalize on the 1950s trend toward numerical auto names. The numerical designation 210 was also sporadically used in company literature. It replaced the Styleline DeLuxe model available in previous years. The Two-Ten was discontinued after the 1957 model year to be replaced by the Biscayne. As the American public began to prefer posh to economy, the Bel Air began to outsell the lesser series, including both 150 and 210 models. As a partial answer to this, Chevrolet re-introduced the Two-Ten Sport Coupe hardtop in the middle of the 1955 model year, and also added a four-door Two-Ten hardtop Sport Sedan for 1956. Neither achieved the sales of their Bel Air counterparts, however, since they were only about $100.00 cheaper than the Bel Airs, which provided more luxury and premium exterior trim. Unlike the 150 series, Two-Tens were always available with the same luxury options as the Bel Air, including the Powerglide automatic transmission, power window lifts and seat adjuster. The Two-Ten Townsman was the top station wagon model offered in 1953, but the Townsman was moved up to the Bel Air series for 1954, only to return to the Two-Ten for 1955. The lower-priced Handyman station wagon, a four-door model in 1953–54, became a two-door for 1955–57. Both were joined by a nine-passenger Beauville four-door wagon in 1956–57. Our 1956 stunner not only looks good due to the Brandy Wine exterior and black interior, she’s also a performer because of the 383, Chevrolet, fire-breathing V-8, that is wedged between the fenders! The only thing missing from this combination of awesome looks, sound, and performance is a flashing neon sign bolted to the roof stating “Look at Me!”. Hard to miss this one! And, while you are getting lots of thumbs-up and meeting many new friends with this conversation starter, you’ll also be pampered while cruising with creature comforts such as, air conditioning, am/fm stereo cassette, power brakes, power steering, cloth interior and more! This Brandy Wine colored piece of Americana looks great next to our other awesome tri-five machines in our KC inventory, however, we are not going to plan for a long stay at our facility with this one. Too much eyeball, performance and at a great price! To even have a shot at this one, you must begin your purchasing journey by calling our KC hotline at(913) 815-1340, or to view this beauty in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures @ gatewayclassiccars.com, and choose the Kansas City Showroom.

From 1947-1955, Chevrolet trucks were #1 for sales in the United States and to this day they remain popular as classics. This pickup has received a makeover of its own starting with “Red Mica paint plucked straight from the Subaru color book. Its easy to fall for some of the vintage styling features on this 1950 Chevrolet from the wavy chrome front grille to the split windshield and body-painted running boards. This example has been finished off with custom chrome wheels and dual side-exiting exhaust pipes for some flamboyancy. Check out the truck bed too- the wood is a throwback to simpler times but also keeps the space functional for light duty work if needed. Open the hood from the front of the vehicle and youll be pleased to see a nice, clean engine compartment with an upgraded small-block Chevrolet 350 CID V8. An Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor, aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan and power steering/power brakes assist with performance. GMs tried and true 3-speed TH350 automatic transmission gets this pickup down the road with confidence. The interior of this Chevrolet 3100 is very nice also with reupholstered Cream vinyl bench seating, new carpet/headliner/door panels and Dolphin gauges that are all functioning according to our initial inspection of the vehicle. The chrome steering column with custom wheel adds some class to the layout. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer this stunning turquoise and white 1956 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria 2-door coupe. Ford sold a ton of Fairlanes in 1956 but only around 9,000 top trim level Crown Victorias were delivered to customers. Painted in a two-tone turquoise and white, classy Fords like this were easily some of the adored cars of the 1950s, with their eye-catching styling features such as the chrome “Tiara band running across the top connecting the B-pillars and “Continental Kit spare tire holder. Of course, thats not the only brightwork youll find on this fancy Ford - the window moldings, side sweep moldings, front/rear bumpers, and dual spotlights all add chrome pizazz. Powering this Crown Vic is a 272 CID Thunderbird V8 with one noticeably not original add-on: a big Holley 4BBL carb. This model came with the 3-speed “Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission, with the shifter located on the column. According to its current owner, the engine was rebuilt in the mid-1990s and has only about 18,000 miles on it since the rebuild, which was done by the previous owner during their 30 year ownership of the car. This Crown Vic is riding on original style 7.1-15 Wide White Sidewall bias ply tires, which are wrapped around its wire hubcap-equipped steelies. Inside, its hard to beat the simplistic, yet functional interior on this Crown Victoria, from the two-tone white vinyl with turquoise cloth insert bench seats to the original dash with a full set of gauges for the driver to enjoy. Theres also an AM radio to the right of the instrument cluster. This 1956 Ford Crown Victoria is well-optioned, with its AM Radio, Continental kit, dual spotlights, stone guards, wire wheel covers, fender skirts, power brakes, and power steering. It also has a spare tire and jack. This car has won many show awards, and a substantial amount of them are included with the car. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet Impala! This is no ordinary Impala. This is a true survivor car. The 283 CID V8 engine is the original that was put in the car in the factory when it was being put together. Covering only 18,176 miles since it first drove off the showroom floor all those years ago. Amazingly, the paint on this car has the original undercoat on it! Even the original AM radio in the car works as it should. This is part of a two-model-year run for the second generation of the much-loved Impala. The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolets wheelbase was 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large teardrop design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, The Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window. Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was Speed minder, for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded. The 1960 Impala models reinstated three round taillights on each side, and a white band running along the rear fenders. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.
