Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this one owner 1976 Datsun 280Z for sale in our Arizona showroom. Bought new in Davis, CA, the car has always led a pampered life and has always been serviced at which has allowed it get reach the mileage it has. Sporting the original gold paint with the owner-added two tone chocolate brown,it looks like it may have been ordered that way, but sharp-eyed Z-car people will know better. The black interior is all original as well, and certainly doesnt look like its over 40 years old. The owner claims the tires are brand new and the car was serviced just prior to coming in here on consignment. This little sweetheart also has the optional Datsun spoke wheels and the rear window louvers. The original window sticker still looks new. This is truly a time capsule that runs and drives remarkably well for its age and reported mileage of 178,737 (this cannot be confirmed by GCC), but considering everything is backed up with service records, its for real. The 2.8L engine is larger than its predecessor and has the reliable Bosch fuel injection system metering the fuel. It still has a full size spare, a feature that was discontinued soon afterward. The early Datsun Z-cars are beginning to gain momentum in collector car circles because they really are cool cars. Make this 1976 Datsun 280Z for sale in our facility yours today. You could be the cars third owner! One of the last years of the C3 Corvette, which were styled after the Mako Shark II concept car, the 1980 model had a redesigned exterior that included reshaped front and rear bumpers that were more aerodynamic, which reduced drag and increased airflow. 1980 was also the last year that Corvettes were made in St. Louis, before production was moved the Bowling Green plant in mid-1981. Under the hood is a very potent L48 350 cubic-inch V8 that produces roughly 200 horsepower, paired with an automatic transmission. The entire drivetrain only has just under 76,000 original miles on it. The exterior is painted a bright shade of Yellow that really shines in the sunlight, and the Black leather bucket seats complete the classic look! With newer shocks and other suspension parts, this Vette rides smooth, and if you pop the t-tops out on cool day, every minute behind the wheel will be an exhilarating and fun experience! Description:

For sale is this bad ass looking 2000 Dodge Dakota is in our Louisville showroom. A quick glance and just by the over the top paint scheme, you’ll realize, this is no ordinary Dodge Dakota. The Red to Silver transition is separated by a set of dark red flames. Finishing off the beastly look of the Dakota, the tail gate graphics are finished with two fiendish ghouls staring at whoever follows. Yes, people will be following, under the hood of this street beast is a 408 Stroker V8 engine. The choppy idle lets you know this engine has been built. The V8 is mated to an SMR built automatic transmission automatic. A set of 4.56 gears in the rear insure quick take offs and nasty burnouts. The 408 V8 was assembled about 3 years ago when the new owner acquired it and only has about 8000 miles on it. The paint scheme is about 10 years old, but doesn’t any real signs of age. This truck scores high on the auto check with a score of 80 which is better than other 2000 Dodge Dakotas (43-64 is the normal score). A set of 20-inch chrome wheels finish off the stance of this beast. The fronts are wrapped in Pirellis 245/45R20 P Zero’s and the rear wheels are shod in Nitto 315/35R20 NTR5R’s. They provide good grip, but experience tells this writer that the 408 V8 will shred these tires at will. If you are looking some bargain horsepower, then call quick as this unit is sure to move fast. Options on this 2000 Dodge Dakota for sale include; AC, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Seat Belts, Tilt Steering Wheel, Keyless Entry, Cloth Interior and aluminum Alloy Wheels with Radial Tires. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this classy 1983 GMC Caballero. It’s often forgotten that GMC made their own version of the well-known El Camino made by Chevrolet. The vehicle was originally names the GMC Sprint but that was changed back in ’78 to the Caballero and it remained in production until 1987. This Caballero is powered by a strong running 350 CID V8 that will push you down the road with ease. The engine is mated to a 3-speed Automatic transmission which both were rebuilt roughly 11 years ago. It may be an older rebuild however the car has only been driven an estimated 5,000 miles since the rebuild, meaning there is plenty of life left in this beauty. The true key to this classic is that it’s a 1 owner car with a clean Carfax. The car is painted in a sleek black and silver color combo that shows very well. The car also features a very nice spray-in bed liner to make for a nice work vehicle if it’s ever needed. This Caballero has all the benefits of both a car and a truck all in one. It’s light weight, fast and looks great while at the same time can be used for a quick trip to Home Depot or Lowes. Taking a seat behind the wheel you will find a matching black on silver color combination making this car truly show worthy. You may notice the empty space for a stereo, but this is simply due to the owner enjoying the sound of the car more. When driving a classic that’s all that there should be, you, the car, and the road. No need to worry because the A/C was left in place and blows nice and cold for those hot summer days. For even more information on this 1983 GMC Caballero located in our Houston showroom come by and see us or contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the showroom at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com

Description:

We are proud to offer this 1984 Porsche 944 at our Saint Louis showroom! This is a car anyone would be proud to own and thrilled to drive. BACKGROUND: Porsche produced the 944s from 1982-1991. This variant was based on the 912 platform and offered a near perfect weight distribution with rear-wheel drive and front engine placement. In 1984 Car and Driver gave the 944 Best Handling and the 944 was rated Top Ten Best by Car and Driver from 83-85! These accolades come as no surprise. This IS a drivers car. You cannot help but smile behind the wheel of this piece of history. The 944 market is still extremely affordable, and this is a well optioned and cared for example. Enter the fully-functional black leather interior with keyless entry and door poppers. The inside contrasts well with the Guards Red exterior. The paint shows extremely well and has a nice shine to it. No major defects present themselves on the outside of the car. This is a vehicle you can be proud to show and happy to drive. All the excitement starts up front with a 2.5L 8 valve engine, sending power through the 5-speed manual transmission. This air-cooled 944 has a removable top, and factory AC to keep the drive cool. Additional options include cruise control, power windows, and a CD player. This one is priced to sell and ready to enjoy! Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is an early 1965 or 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang. Making this an early 65 is the 260 V8 as opposed to the later 289. The 260 was a carryover from the outgoing Ford Falcon that the Mustang ended up replacing. Some will argue a car being a 64 1/2 or an early 65. This one does have some of the typical equipment found on an early 65 or 64 1/2. Such items include different door lock pulls, specific hub caps, different horn location, generator vs. an alternator, smaller Mustang emblems on the fenders and of course the 260 V8 just to name a few. This one is painted red over a black vinyl interior complimented with a white vinyl headliner. Inside youll notice a standard Mustang interior with one exception, an original Air Conditioning unit mounted beneath the dash. The power source under the hood is the mentioned F code 260 V8 that runs quite well and sends power through a 3 speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. The serial number for this early Mustang is 7082. Still quite low considering almost 700,000 Mustangs were produced in 1965. For more information on this early 1965 Ford Mustang, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000 or swing by for an up close viewing. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1985 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista. The El Caminos were first introduced back in 1959 and were originally based off the Brookwood station wagon, later the Chevelle and finally the Monte Carlo or “G Body” of the 80s. It was a long run and people loved the car like ride with the use of a pick up. Originally this one was equipped with a 305 V8. At some point in time, a couple or few owners ago that engine was removed and replaced with a GM 350 crate engine providing the power it shouldve had when new. This added power is sent through a TH 350 auto transmission with a shift kit. The rear is believed to be stock and is well suited for the highway. Equipment is typical for a car from the late 80s and includes Power steering, Power brakes, Power windows, Power locks, a tilt wheel and Air Conditioning. Paint is a two tone brown that goes well with the brown vinyl interior. The wheels look right at home on this EL Camino and are 5 star mag Crager aluminum 15 wheel wrapped with directional Good Year rubber. Miles on this 1985 Chevrolet El Camino are showing 28,137 and are marked as unknown due to lack of documentation proving actual. Looking beneath the car, it appears to be very solid and still retaining the original sheet metal. This 1985 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista can be viewed in our St. Louis showroom. Now available for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom is this 1972 Ford Mustang. The 1972 Ford Mustangs changed very little from the 1971 models, except the Boss 351 did not return for a second year. Outside of red/white and blue color schemes, the only obvious difference was the Mustang name on the rear was now smaller and on the right side, instead of across the center. This 1972 Mustang, powered by a 250 cid Stright 6 engine with automatic transmission with less than 56,000 actual miles, is coated in a beautiful red, and has a red and white interior. Description:

For sale in our Houston showroom is a classic 1968 Ford Mustang. If you love old cars you will know the Mustang story and it is quite a charming one. By the early 1960s there was quite a bit of competition amongst brands and the need for a Pony car was becoming a reality pretty quickly. After concepts were received well the Mustang was launched on April 17, 1964 and dubbed the 1964 1/2 amongst Mustang followers. The little cars with a choice of a 6 cylinder or V8 engine took off and became an instant success to compete with vehicles like the Chevrolet Camaro, Plymouth Barracuda and Pontiac Firebird. By 1968 the Mustang had received a minor facelift but still featured that domineering front end, side scoop and classic tri-lens taillights that made this one of the most iconic American cars ever. The option of engines as well as some creature comforts made this a versatile vehicle that could be made as a performer or just a comfortable personal car. This example features the 200 Cubic Inch Inline 6 cylinder that delivered smooth power while still providing a smooth and comfortable drive. The automatic transmission shifts very nice and makes driving this classic very fun and easy. The exterior of this car features a clean green paint with an all original & clean interior which features excellent condition leather seats, custom digital Stereo with aftermarket speakers. The exterior paint & original wheels look fantastic and shine very nice. This car has had a great deal of care and maintenance over the years to preserve its good looks and reliability. If you have been looking for a reliable cruiser that will provide years of loving service this one deserves a second glance. Located in our Houston showroom, this clean 1968 Ford Mustang can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1976 Jeep CJ5. The CJ5 was introduced in 1954 as a 55 model by Kaiser which was sold to AMC in 1970. The 76 models are one of the most sought after due to the revised and strengthened frame design. This 76 CJ needed that extra support with the small block 350 under the hood putting out a ton more power than the original engine. The 4-barrel carb feeds this monster plenty of fuel giving it a completely different driving experience over stock. The chromed headers take care of the exhaust gases and look good doing it. Mated up to a 3-speed manual transmission this Jeep is a blast to drive. The chrome roll bar is a great custom touch and shows nice while setting it apart from the crowd. The Soft top by Bestop are known for there quality and longevity. The bimini top is also available and gives you some protection while still having that open-air feel. The interior is different than your typical Jeep with the cloth being something typically not seen in these vehicles. The back has custom side pieces giving it a great finished look with rear set having a lockable trunk underneath allowing for stowage of any valuables. The stance of the jeep is courtesy of the brand-new shocks that were just installed increasing the height and ride quality tremendously. The 31-inch tires are in terrific condition and have a very versatile tread pattern. With the brand-new steering stabilizer installed at the same time this CJ is extremely road worthy. Upfront the WARN winch is there just in case you get in any trouble while tackling the trails while that LED lightbar ensures daytime lighting in the middle of the night. If you have been wanting to get into one of these CJ series Jeeps but want something just a little different this one is a great candidate. Options on this 1976 Jeep CJ5 include, Seat Belts, AM/FM/CD, Cloth Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this beautiful 1987 Chevrolet El Camino to our Philadelphia showroom. The 1987 El Camino does not have the reputation for performance that its earlier models were known for. That can’t be said about this El Camino. The list of upgrades includes Roller Rockers, NEI ignition, aluminum intake, Holley carburetor and Hooker Headers. The turbo 350 transmission is equipped with a 2700 Stall convertor and passes the power to an Auburn Posi traction unit with 3:42 gears. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a one of a kind 1981 Chevrolet Corvette. Kick on Rick Springfield’s “Jessie’s Girl” or Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” and hop into this time machine which will take you back to 1981. This beauty is a two-owner cream puff with only 49,064 original miles on the odometer. This car has been with the same owner since 1991 and has been lovingly cared for like a member of the family. The car has received recent maintenance in the form of new brakes, shocks, struts, tires, exhaust, and a recharge for the AC. The color scheme is straight from ’81 with beige on the exterior and dark red interior. Unique to this Vette are the cloth seats which are rare to find in a Corvette. Much like fashion trends like leg warmers and members only jackets circle back into popularity every few years, the color scheme on this particular Vette is just so vintage that it looks current. Collector vehicles from this time period make great collectibles because they’re old enough to have the classic look people desire, but new enough to have modern driving characteristics and amenities. One could drive a car like this everyday to work like a modern car, or keep it tucked away waiting for a sunny weekend to be uncovered and shown to the world. For the car trivia buffs out there, 1981 was the first year which Corvette production was split between St. Louis and the new Bowling Green Kentucky plant. Own a little piece of Corvette history with this ’81. You can see this 1981 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/STL/7897/.
