Description:

The year was 1968. Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In made its debut on NBC. At the same time, Plymouth paid $50,000 to Warner Brothers -Seven Arts to use the Road Runner name and likeness from their Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner cartoons (as well as a beep, beep horn which Plymouth paid $10,000 to develop). This beautifully restored example has the correct horn, but that is just the beginning. Painted a stunning Synergy Green, this Road Runner includes the numbers matching 383 CID V8 big block engine and 4-speed A833 manual transmission. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2017, just 200 miles since, including a fresh +.0030 bores. The factory 4-speed transmission is mated to an 8 3/4 rear end with 3:23 Sure Grip(posi) gears. This radiant and orderly engine bay must be seen to be appreciated fully. Updates include a heat and A/C kit by Vintage Air, updated wiring harness from American Auto Wire and all new brake & fuel lines. Other options include: seat belts, power brakes, electronic ignition, and front disc brakes. The quality work did not stop with the mechanics. This roomy interior is highlighted by new upholstery in black / silver vinyl that complement the OEM dash and gauges. You will feel the thunder of new dual stainless exhaust and Flowtech headers while firmly contacted to the ground by new 17” Retro Wheels and new Nitto performance tires. This fresh restoration demands to be shown, but once you get behind the wheel, look outside through all new glass at the road ahead and feel the high performance big block come to life, the journey has just begun! This vehicle is located in our St. Louis showroom. You can view the 1968 Plymouth Road Runner in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale in our Houston showroom. Of special note, this is THE 1969 Camaro that Dale Earnhardt Jr. drove in the Goodys Headache Powders commercial, and comes with authentication (including Dale Jr.s signature). One of the most iconic of the Pony Cars, the 1969 Camaro has developed a cult-like following. The Camaro was introduced in 1967 as Chevrolets answer to combat the success of Fords Mustang, which created a whole new vehicle segment, later dubbed Pony Cars. For 1969, the Camaro received all-new sheet metal (except for the hood and trunk), which served to give the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with the heavy “V” cant, and the headlights were given a new recessed position. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened with sculpted feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the car and rear-slanting simulated air slots were positioned ahead of the rear wheel. The front had a full width chrome bumper integrated with the body color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels with triple segment lenses. This styling is considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car look and arguably the most desirable. This car is presented in its original LeMans Blue paint (as depicted on the cowl tag), along with performance white stripe accents. Under the hood lurks a high-compression full roller 350 CID V8, built by Conroes Choice Automotive. It sports a pair of Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads and FAST EFI TBI Fuel Injection sits atop the Edelbrock hi-rise aluminum manifold. An MSD Digital 6AL ignition system helps boost the spark, while coated headers suction the exhaust gases into a 2.5 dual exhaust system, and the performance mufflers give it that throaty muscle car sound that enthusiasts crave. The hi-po 350 sends the power to the rear via a built 700R4 4-speed automatic, which twists the 3.90:1 gears in its 10-bolt Posi rear end. In the event you find yourself spending too much time in the throttle, savoring the high RPM howl this 350 makes, the two-piece slotted and drilled Wilwood rotors and their accompanying multipiston calipers up front will help you get back to legal digits quickly. Inside this cool coupe is an Ivory bucket seat interior (also noted on the cowl tag), which seems practically new, as does the black carpet. An Equus tri-gauge cluster above the console helps keep the driver informed about critical operating systems, as well. The console features a period correct staple shifter, with an updated gear indicator bezel, alluding to the 4-speed transmission (with D-3-2-1 positions, rather than the D-2-1 of a 3-speed auto). Additional features on this 1969 Camaro for sale include Vintage-style AM/FM Radio with Aux port, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Vinyl Interior. Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette. If there is a car that answers all the questions of is it a good investment, is it fun and appealing, will it get noticed at a car show, stop light, anywhere is it the best American sports car? Well here is your answer, plain and simple a C2 Corvette. This Nassau blue vette stops you in your tracks and excites every sense of your car needs. The 350 cid V-8 engine is not numbers matching, but runs like a swiss clock with the recent rebuild on the transmission. If you can’t see yourself in this car with the AC on with the clean white top up on the hot days and the top down on those perfect weather days, then you have never experienced the feeling of a corvette. This is a better than average driver and not so perfect you are afraid to pull it out of your garage. Have we said what a great Vette this is, well, it is. The second generation Corvette, which introduced Sting Ray to the model, continued with fiberglass body panels, and overall, was smaller than the first generation. The car was designed by Larry Shinoda with major inspiration from a previous concept design called the Q Corvette, which was created by Peter Brock and Chuck Pohlmann under the styling direction of Bill Mitchell. Earlier, Mitchell had sponsored a car known as the Mitchell Sting Ray in 1959 because Chevrolet no longer participated in factory racing. This vehicle had the largest impact on the styling of this generation, although it had no top and did not give away what the final version of the C2 would look like. The third inspiration was a Mako Shark Mitchell had caught while deep-sea fishing. Production started for the 1963 model year and ended in 1967. Introducing a new name, Sting Ray, the 1963 model was the first year for a Corvette and it featured a distinctive tapering rear deck. The Sting Ray featured hidden headlamps, non-functional hood vents, and an independent rear suspension.[24] Corvette chief engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov never liked the split rear window because it blocked rear vision, but Mitchell thought it to be a key part of the entire design. Four-wheel disc brakes were introduced in 1965. Other options available on the C2 included the Wonderbar auto-tuning AM radio, AM-FM radio, air conditioning, a telescopic steering wheel, and headrests. The Sting Rays independent rear suspension was successfully adapted for the new-for-1965 Chevrolet Corvair, which solved the quirky handling problems of that unique rear-engine compact. Options include: AC, power steering, wipers, horn, seat belts, gauges, AM/FM, radial, clock, radial tires, rally wheels, convertible top, and turn signals. This 1966 Chevrolet Nova is now available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and should be the talk of the town from its flashy appearance down to its mean under-the-hood performance aspect. The Nova has taken quite a few body styles in the years of its production but 1966 shown as one of the more desirable years among them. This beauty shows as a prime example of what to expect out of a top-notch Nova. The paint job alone is enough to stop someone in their tracks featuring a hot red paint job that happens to be a licensed color through Porsche, and the color is set off beautifully by a set of chrome rims wrapped in radial tires. Under the hood of this machine, lies a fully built 350 cubic inch small block V8 which has a set of ceramic coated stainless steel longtube headers, aluminum heads and an aftermarket camshaft that sings a choppy, yet throaty tune through the dual exhaust system. The power of this engine is transferred to a Tremec T-5 5-speed manual transmission back to a solid rear axle featuring 3:73 gear ratio and an Auburn limited-slip differential. The Nova also has a custom interior featuring leather upholstery and an aftermarket stereo deck with a CD player and AM/FM tuner. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this beautiful 1965 Chevrolet Corvette. 1965 was the year 4-wheel disc brakes were introduced to the C2 Corvette. This car has a very nice Rally Red paint that is in great condition. The car is powered by a rebuilt 327 CID V8 to L79 specs. Listening to it idle is a treat, never mind winding it through all four gears. The completely rebuilt 4-speed Muncie M20 transmission sends the twist to a set of 3.36 gears with a PosiTrac differential. The 3.36 ratio provides both highway friendliness and good torque multiplication, making this Vette very street friendly and peppy to drive. Both the engine & the transmission were rebuilt a little over 8k miles ago. The four-wheel disc brakes really improve its stopping distances, too. This Corvette rides on classic period-correct knock-off style aluminum wheels that are wrapped in fairly new 205/70/14 black wall radials. The car has been subjected to an exhaustive cosmetic and mechanical restoration. The fiberglass prep was expertly done with the surfaces sanded to near perfection. The gaps were expertly aligned and the Rally Red paint was finished with a two-stage urethane. In addition, all the chrome was restored, the stainless spent time with a buffing wheel, and the shiny rocker trim looks new. A bright white convertible top was installed in January 2017. The interior of the car is in great condition and ready for a new owner to get behind the wheel. The black vinyl seats are in like new condition and have very little wear. Description:

This 1992 Porsche 968 Convertible is a low-mileage example with only 6,256 original miles and is extremely rare being one of just 2,248 convertibles imported into the United States and Canada from 1992-95.

This 968 is heavily optioned with climate control, cruise control, power seats, power mirrors, power windows, power door locks, heated mirrors and cruise control. The Porsche 968 is of front-engine and rear-wheel-drive configuration. Although it is considered by many to be the third-generation successor to the original 924 and 944, the 968 shares very little with its predecessors, having more than 80 percent of its mechanical components significantly modified or replaced. Hence, Porsche engineers felt that the changes were substantive enough to give it the new designation of 968. The 968 is powered by an inline-4 engine with a 3L displacement that produces 237 HP and is linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox. These cars were beautifully balanced with a near-neutral, front-to-rear weight distribution, and the handling is superb. Although the Porsche 968 was applauded by the motoring press in its day for its quick acceleration and sublime handling, it had a limited appeal within the Porsche community relative to the 911. That limited cult-like following combined with a very low production number—just a total of 4,665 units imported into the United States and Canada—makes finding an excellent example an exercise in futility. Presented in silver with a subtle Linen interior and black soft top, this is a fine example of the Porsche 968 breed.

These cars have recently taken a dramatic and sharp escalation in value, especially cars like this particular 968 which presents beautifully in showroom condition with a factory-issued Certificate of Authenticity. Description:

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a retro 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS. Retro is the word because of the 1969 Camaro RS/SS inspired front clip that was installed on the car, hideaway lights and all. This unique kit obviously helps this Camaro stand out in a crowd of other late model Camaros. What is under the hood will make this Camaro stand out of any crowd in regards to performance ability. By adding a Kenne Bell Super Charger, Kooks headers, and full Kooks exhaust to the stock 6.2L LS3 V8 engine the horsepower rating jumped from 426 to 660 horsepower! A six-speed manual transmission transfers the 600+ horses to the rear end. A new suspension including sport springs was added to provide the ultimate handling experience. This Camaro sports the iconic white exterior paint with orange SS stripes to further perpetuate the retro look. Bringing this Camaro into the 21st century are the custom 22” Asanti wheels that have been painted white and orange, brilliantly matching the retro color scheme. The orange and black leather interior is in very good condition, it is just over 8 years old, but has only had 3,700 miles of usage. The odometer reads 3,711, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS includes: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Driver’s Seat, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Keyless Entry, Leather Interior, Seat Belts, Driver/Passenger/Rear Airbag, Anti-Lock Brakes, Anti-Theft System, Traction Control, Radial Tires, and Custom Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This is a late model Camaro SS with a very cool retro kit which blends the best of past with the awesome power and technology of present day. This Camaro will have everyone looking and asking questions, from the car shows to the gas station. Description:

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a beautiful 1932 Chevrolet Phaeton. The odometer on this 32 Phaeton reads 21,451 and is the actual mileage on this beautiful Phaeton. Starting with such a low mileage car, certainly makes for an easier and more precise restoration. Options for this 1932 Chevrolet Phaeton include: Manual Convertible Top, Vinyl Olive Interior, Manual Turn Signals, Windshield Wiper, Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires, and Wire Wheels. Powering this Chevrolet Phaeton is a 3.2L Stove Bolt 6 cylinder engine, which is believed to be original to the car. It is a naturally aspirated engine that features 2 valves per cylinder and produces 60 horsepower. A 3 speed manual transmission transfers those horses to the rear end, which houses 4.10 gears. The Sage Green exterior, black fender and running boards and dual side mounts against the Tan top, Olive interior, and Red wire wheels with new Wide White Walls produce a very unique look that does not disappoint. The tan top and Olive vinyl interior are both in very good condition, free from any rips, tears, or serious wear. The Phaeton body style differs from a convertible in that it does not have a winding or sliding windows in the doors nor does it have a permanent, fixed roof. Due to the lack of a rigid or fixed roof, the Phaeton was much lighter than a convertible. The Phaeton body style was faded out after the convertible style became much more popular with its ability to be driven in all types of weather. Description:

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Pro-Street is the ultimate expression of high-performance, with race-grade equipment and show car looks. This car has the stance, and the attitude to back it up. The stunning black paint is show quality and is complimented by a set of very well done white racing stripes. Chrome bumpers fore and aft add some contrast, with dark-tinted windows to complete the look. There arent many cars that are more perfectly proportioned than the early Camaro, and the Pro-Street treatment on this one only enhances what is already a slam-dunk design. All of the car is steel with the exception of the hood and trunk lid car and hasnt been radically modified, although a few behind-the-scenes changes were definitely required to get those large meats under the rear fenders. If this were a full race piece, thered be a bare-bones interior with a single bucket. But in Pro-Street, full interiors are part of the package. High-back Procar buckets are upholstered in black leather, there are beautiful carpets on the floor, and the stock door panels keep with the classic look. In place of the rear seat is a set of fully upholstered wheel tubs that look like they were done to factory specs when the car was new. The original dashboard has been refinished, too, and now carries a beautiful set of Auto Meter Pro Comp gauges in the original pods ahead of the driver. But the crossover to race spec doesnt mean youre roughing it, because theres plenty of sound-deadening material inside. The floor mounted ratchet shifter manages a built TH400 3-speed automatic transmission, and a small diameter steering wheel fits the look. In back, the trunk is pretty much full of wheel tubs, a fuel cell, and a battery, and the workmanship of the install is very impressive. Youll get the picture when you open the hood and find a thundering 502 cubic inch big block sporting a Holley. Finished in more polished aluminum parts than youll find at a Goodguys show, its a street-legal piece that thinks it was built for the track. Theres a pair of ceramic coated long tube headers, and an MSD ignition in addition to all the stout goodies inside. The reinforced chassis carries a coil-over front suspension and a 4-link that carries a narrowed Ford 9” rear end with 4.11 gears inside, so nobody can accuse this of being a race-only piece. Wilwood disc brakes live at all four corners and the full exhaust system sounds simply spectacular. Rolling stock consists of Billet Specialties aluminum wheels with 165/80R15 radials up front and 31x18.5x15 Hoosier Quick Time meats out back. You can view this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

The Louisville Showroom is proud to offer this beautiful one of a kind Tuxedo black 1955 Chevrolet Cameo . The luxury truck market has really caught fire the past decade. Many believe that this is something new but it was something that GM had tried many decades ago. The Cameo was really the first truck that put styling and comfort before the utility of the vehicle. This Cameo was built with that in mind and the finish product will hopefully not be seen with a load of hay in the back anytime soon. The truck was a ground up build with attention detail being top ion the list. It was a rust-free CA truck to begin with making this a nice candidate. The first thing you notice about this beauty is the paint. “Phantom Black Pearl as it is known as has a ton of flake in it giving the truck that sparkle look when the sun hits it. With all of the stainless steel polished to a bright luster this truck just screams 1950s. The all new tinted glass is just another one of those attention to details that most would overlook. Under the hood is a Chevy small block with ported and polished heads give this 55 a lot more power than its original 265. The vintage finned valve covers give under the hood a great look while the stainless-steel fasteners keep with the whole attention to detail. The ride quality comes courtesy of a Heidts mustang II style frontend with power assisted rack and pinion steering. Open the door and the interior of the truck is the nice complement to the exterior. The leather bench seat has been molded in such a way that it feels like you are sitting in your own bucket. Each side has its own little pocket if you will, keeping you nice and planted. If you have been wanting something different but something mainstream this 55 Cameo. The 3100 Big Widows are extremely popular but this one has the Cameo factor making it extremely different. Options on this 1955 Chevrolet Cameo include; AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Leather Interior, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels and Radial Tires. This gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet Cameo is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1956 Chevrolet 210 Handyman Wagon. The Chevrolet 210 series was the mid-range model for Chevrolet from 1953 to 1957. There were a few different body styles produced including 2 and 4 door sedans, 2 and 4 door coupes, convertibles, and 2 and 4 door station wagons. The Tri-Five station wagons have become very popular over the years for collectors and enthusiast alike, especially ones restored to this level. This awesome 56 210 Handyman Wagon underwent an extensive 5 year restoration that was built to keep the classic styling yet add new technology for reliability and performance. Everything on this car was either replaced, refinished, or upgraded and the workmanship is outstanding. As many original parts were used as possible including all the stainless trim and chrome parts. This 1956 Chevrolet 210 Handyman Wagon is powered by a Fuel Injected 5.3L Vortec V8 engine, backed by a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, running to a single-pull rear end with 3.56 gears. The 5.3L V8 has a LS1 intake plenum added along with Sanderson Headers running out to a dual stainless steel exhaust system that sounds absolutely amazing. Options on this 1956 Chevrolet 210 Handyman Wagon for sale include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, and Radial Tires. This car was brought back from Phoenix, Arizona and then completely disassembled, taken down to the frame and the body was put on a rotisserie and sanded down to bare metal. It was then painted in a Hot Huse Dragon Fire Red and Leaf Silver color. To make a more streamlined appearance the divider trim on the sides and the rear Vs were removed. The fins on the hood mounted bird were also removed and the front and rear bumpers were changed to smoothies. The interior is also just as impressive with a two-tone red and grey theme throughout matching the exterior colors. The factory bench seats were retained and covered in leather as well as the door panels, the center line of the dash was marbleized for a custom touch, and a Dakota Digital gauge set was put in to monitor the vitals. To improve the overall ride and driving experience the front was lowered with 2 drop spindles and a leaf spring pocket kit in the back with coil-overs. The steering system is a rack and pinion, power steering setup with an Ididit steering column and a Flaming River steering wheel. The braking capabilities are handled through a power four wheel disc brake setup that will slow you down in a hurry. This car also comes with a folder full of receipts for the build as well as photo documentation of the build process. If you are looking for a great performing wagon that will also win you trophies, this is it! Description:

Alright Camaro fans- have we got a nice one for you! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this HOT 1969 Camaro.... wait for it... born a real X77 Z28 per the owner! It gets even better- it sports a massive aluminum-head 500 cid big block Chevy w/Eage rotating assembly, tied to a stout TCI THM 400 trans. The 9 Ford rear end and 4:56-1 gears means you better grab something solid and HANG ON. These first gen Camaros are always a favorite, and this 69 really stands out. It is a quality build and will get a lot of attention. The PG two stage burgundy paint looks sharp, as do the weld aluminum racing wheels and striping. It also features added (fixed) RS hideaway headlamps- a bit of icing on the cake! 69 Camaros were the end of the first gen run, before being replaced with the larger, heavier 70-81 body. The first gen versions have been a street / strip favorite since inception 53 years ago. The idea was to give Mustangs a run for their money and did they ever! And when Don Yenko got ahold of them and dropped a mean 427 big block between the fenders, well, the rest was history. Today we have more parts available for these cars than we did when they were 10 years old, making restoration and customization easy and affordable. If you are looking for one nice, wicked 69 Camaro, look NO further. This one is a crowd pleaser and something to be very proud of. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale through our Ft. Lauderdale Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
