Description:

IN 1966 THE 911 TARGA WAS INTRODUCED TO THE WORLD. THE TARGA WAS A BALANCE STRUCK BETWEEN A CONVERTIBLE AND A COUPE. IT WAS BUILT AS A RESPONSE TO PORSCHE'S FEAR THAT THE GOVERNMENT MIGHT SOON OUTLAW CONVERTIBLES. THE STAINLESS STEEL ROLL BAR AND REMOVABLE ROOF GAVE THE TARGA VERSATILITY YET SAFETY. THE 1987 911 TARGA IS A STRIKING COMBINATION OF A CLASSIC SHAPE WITH CONVENIENT UPDATES.

THIS CAR SHINES WITH ITS LOW 91,171 MILES AND OUTSTANDING CONDITION; A REAL RARITY TO FIND. WEIGHING IN AT JUST 2,976 POUNDS, THIS CAR IS LIGHT, FAST, AND READY TO DRIVE. THE 87' TARGA IS EQUIPPED WITH A 3.2 LITER, NORMALLY ASPIRATED, AIR COOLED, SINGLE OVERHEAD CAM, FLAT SIX ENGINE. WITH 217 BHP AND 195 LB-FT OF TORQUE, THIS VERSION OF THE 911 CAME WITH AN UPGRADED L-JETRONIC FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM FEATURING BOSCH MOTRONICS 2 DIGITAL MOTOR ELECTRONICS IGNITION CONTROL SYSTEM, WHICH IMPROVED THE FUEL EFFICIENCY FROM PAST MODELS. THE OLD PORSCHE 915 GEARBOX WAS FINALLY REPLACED BY THE GETRAG G50, WHICH USES A HYDRAULICALLY ACTUATED CLUTCH INSTEAD OF THE PREVIOUS CABLE SYSTEM, AND IT HAD A GEAR SELECTOR CENTERING SPRING FOR NEUTRAL. SHIFT THROWS WERE MUCH IMPROVED WITH A MORE DEFINED GATE. THE FRONT WHEELS MEASURE IN AT 16” DIAMETER X 6” WIDE AND THE REAR WHEELS ARE 16” DIAMETER X 7” WIDE. THESE ARE FITTED WITH MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON TIRES, 205/55ZR16 IN THE FRONT AND 225/50ZR16 IN THE REAR.

Description:

The very same day that West Germany became a sovereign state on May 5th, 1955, this Chrysler C300 was just leaving the assembly line to get shipped out. 62 years later and transferred hands from the original family once 30 years ago, this is one of the best kept C300 still roaming the streets. This car has spent its entire life here in Denver area and, when purchased by the current owner, the car underwent an extensive restoration including professionally rebuilding the original engine and 7 clutch transmission, correcting any blemishes in the body, reupholstering the interior, and going through all other mechanical components. The original 331 Hemi was rebuilt by a reputable local shop in the Denver area and all parts for the build were supplied by Hot Heads in North Carolina. It has solid lifters giving it a distinctive high performance sound and is also equipped with stainless steel valves and a double roller camshaft drive. The engine was completely balanced and is running at 9.5:1 compression to run regular unleaded fuel. The body was completely stripped down and was thoroughly looked over for any issues. Anything found was meticulously fixed correctly and then had a complete single stage Deltron black paint job lain on top. To contrast the sheen black paint, the bumpers were rechromed to really set the car off. The wire wheels on the car were original to it and were wrapped in new Diamond back wide white wall radial tires. The interior was professionally reupholstered using a Goers kit that is an exact copy of the original tan cowhide. The new interior included the seats, door panels, carpet, and the trunk. The owner of this car refers to it as a “drive anywhere” car and does not worry no matter where the car show may be located. This is a car you can be certain will turn head no matter where you go and will win awards when entered. If you have had your eye out for a Chrysler C300 like this, you won’t find another one quite like this. Options on this car include: Power brakes, power steering, AM radio, wire wheels, seat belts, and leather interior. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1955 Chrysler C300 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

We are thrilled to offer for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1932 Ford 3 window Deuce Coupe. This hot rod was very carefully built to be as accurate as possible to a hot rod from back in the good ole days, 1957 specifically. Going with the 1957 hot rod theme, the car is powered by a period correct Corvette 283. The stout 283 is backed by a 1939 Ford 3 speed manual transmission and a 1940 Ford rear end housing 4.10 gears. The frame is an original 1932 as is the metal gas tank and radiator shell. The body is from Outlaw and features an original firewall appearance. Topping the 283 is an original 1947 Cadillac air cleaner. The exhaust has been Jet Coated in black from the manifolds all the way back to the exhaust tips. The build looks as if the car was sent to us from the past via a time machine. Painted in a high gloss black with the red frame exposed and matched by the red steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and whitewall tires(radials). The exposed engine bay also adds to the vintage hot rod theme. Dont be confused with builds of today. This one is no frills and all thrills. No A/C or power steering, this is a hot rod! It is also a proven show winner. It took Street Rodder Top 10 at Goodguys and received the Magnum Axle/ Real Hot Rod award from Goodguys. Theres no question that the intended vintage hot rod theme was executed with precision. License plates shown on the car are not included. To view this 1932 Ford 3 window Deuce Coupe in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX! Wearing Medium Copper paint laid down two years ago, this rag top Mopar magic machine is ripe for the picking! According to our research the 440 was the base engine for this car in 67. This engine is not the engine the car was born with, but the owner says it is period correct for the car. The transmission is said to be original to the car and to have been rebuilt however we have no documentation for either of those items. This model received heavy duty suspension from the factory, and for a big body car it handles reasonably well! Looking at the underside there appears to be a good mix of original equipment and upgraded goodies. The exhaust looks to be new stainless steel and shows almost no surface rust. Many suspension bushings look newer and not dry-rotted. The gas tank also looks to be newer and stainless steel. The owner states the paint job was done two years ago and is showing no major flaws. We would love to have a conversation about this car! Give us a call! 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX is presented in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now available in our DFW Showrooms is this custom built 1932 Ford Sedan. Today, the 1932 Model B, although always a little bit in the shadow of the V8, is a highly collectible car and people will pay high dollars to restore one to original specification, which is ironic, as they were once cheap throwaway cars popular with hot rodders who would tear them apart and use them as the basis for a build. This is partly why it is so hard to find an unaltered specimen today. Our 1932 is no exception as it has been rebuilt from the ground up! When starting with a custom-rod, where else do you begin then heart of the vehicle. This 1932 is powered around by a straight out the GM crate- Mr.Goodwrench 350-V8 motor, with aluminum heads, edelbrock carb 650 CFM, and a MSD Ignition. Which creates plenty of ponies to the back wheels. Speaking of wheels, this ride is rolling on a fabulous combo set of US-Mags wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. These all connect to Rust’No’More chassis and a fiberglass body sitting on top. Other additional upgrades to this vehicle include: Aluminum rod 3 core speedway, Pete & Jake frontend, SoCal gas tank, Disc brakes, and Muffler headers. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

This is a phenomenal 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Series ½ Ton Pickup. This resto-mod is one from the age of Elvis Presley, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and it was on the receiving end of an incredibly high-quality frame-off restoration. The entire body is brand new except for the cab, which was restored, and the wood bed was also completely replaced and updated. The vehicle was painted in its beautiful orange color only a year ago, but looks brand new and the door locks have been shaved, giving the entire vehicle an elegant, streamlined appearance. There was no expense spared on the body work and after taking just one look, it’s more than obvious. The 355 CID V8 engine fires up at the first turn of the key and the TH350 automatic transmission shifts through gears with ease, transferring the power from the engine to the new Ford 9” rear end with 3.55 gears. To give the truck a mean stance, the ride height was adjusted with front coilovers. The vehicle was also updated to have power steering, air conditioning that blows ice cold, power locks and windows, keyless entry, and a tilt wheel. Driving this 60 year old truck feels like a breeze and will be perfect for any car show or cruise night. This 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Series ½ Ton Pickup is located in our Milwaukee Showroom. If you would like to see more pictures of the vehicle please visit GatewayClassicCars.com, where there are more than 100 HD pictures of the vehicle and an HD video of it running and driving.
