Description:

This beautiful second-generation 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle is now available for purchase at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom. BACKGROUND: The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile which was produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolets most successful nameplates. The 1969 Chevelle was billed as Americas most popular mid-size car. They showed only minor changes for 1969, led by revised front-end styling. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights (which became a familiar Chevrolet trademark with its concurrent light-duty pickup trucks) with a revised front grille, now cast in ABS plastic, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. Taillight lenses were larger and more vertical, flowing into the quarter panels. (Source: Wikipedia) This particular 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle has been owned by the same person for the past twelve years and it was during that stewardship that this classic enjoyed a frame-off restoration, which was done by Evans Classic Car Restorations in Arnold Missouri. The restoration work included powder coating the frame and suspension, Baer brakes - four-wheel discs, rebuilt 396 engine, Posi-traction rear end, Munci transmission, aluminum radiator, 3 5.5 exhaust, Doug’s headers, custom seat covers, Dakota digital gauges, Hotchkis sport suspension, and all new glass. There is nothing to dislike about the presentation or dive of this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle. It has a show car quality finish for its interior and exterior and the girl just runs like a champ. Look at the pictures - watch the video - listen to the motor! Am I lying? You still dont believe? Well, come to see it for yourself or call us and talk to inquire further about this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/STL/7868/. Description:

Up for Sale in our Detroit Showroom is a very impressive 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby. 1968 marked the end of the first generation Mustang Shelby production. The Shelby GT Mustang was offered as a higher performance model and was introduced into the Mustang line-up in 1965. This Mustang has had every aspect of its originality modified and is a mean machine. The first thing that anyone would notice walking up to this beast is the enormous supercharged 429CID BOSS Ford Hemi Powered V8. The extensive work that has been done to this engine is out of this world. This beast has enough horsepower to pin you to your racing seat at the touch of the throttle. Remember, this is a fully authentic and document 1968 Shelby Mustang which has underwent extensive modifications to be the biggest and best drag car at your local strip. This powerful Shelby is equipped with a highly modified 3-Speed Automatic C6 Transmission. The rear gear ratio is set up at 4.86 in the rear which allows for neck snapping power off the line. The enormous, sticky Mickey Thompson tires do a great job of keeping this Mustang planted and going in a straight line while flying down the drag strip. With less than 2000 miles since its complete rebuild, this Shelby is guaranteed to turn heads and snap necks on a daily basis. This pretty pony is wrapped in a shiny coat of Black along with metallic flake gold racing stripes which are a Shelby trademark. This Shelby is also equipped with Power Brakes with a complete Wilwood set-up to ensure a safe stop after exceeding 150MPH in no time. The interior sports a full roll cage with Shelby style racing seats and racing harnesses to make sure you stay strapped in for the ride. This Shelby Mustang is sure to impress its next owner and you will be hard pressed to find one this nice. Description:

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is an amazing 1937 Ford Roadster. Every item on this build was carefully planned out with purpose. Vibration cushions between the frame and body were installed to minimize vibration and noise and eliminated the need for a drive shaft tunnel. By eliminated the tunnel a lower seat height was achieved, which creates greater visibility for the driver and passenger through the windshield. Both the passenger compartment and trunk floors have been covered in Dynamat to reduce heat and reduce road noise. The powerplant comes from a 2009 5.3L Chevrolet LS V8 with an LS2 intake that has approximately 18,000 miles on it. The LS engine is mated to a 4L60E automatic transmission, which transfers the power to the Ford 8.8” rear end that houses 3.27 gears. This powertrain combination creates an excellent driving experience in any environment, while being incredibly reliable, and produces plenty of power to have fun with. An all new Mustang II front suspension setup is in place with powder coated upper and lower tubular control arms, new spindles, and power rack and pinion steering. The rear suspension features a triangulated 4-bar setup with TCI coil over shocks and springs. Power disc brakes adorn all four corners, providing maximum stopping power when needed. The gloss black exterior paint is a GM color by Dupont and looks fantastic. The light gold vinyl interior has a sleek and sophisticated appearance. The dash also features the vinyl upholstery and easy to read gauges in front of the steering wheel creating an uncluttered look. The odometer reads 312, which represents the mileage put on the car since the build was complete. Options for this 1937 Ford Roadster include: Vintage Air Heat and Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Removable Hard Top, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This 37’ Ford is a great example of a tastefully built, custom street rod, with all the right colors, and options in place. This Roadster is ready for any show the new owner wants to attend. Description:

Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to present this incredible 1974 Ford Bronco. Now those of us that grew up in the sixties and seventies remember these as vehicles for the “field and stream guys. Those that needs a small four-wheel drive to get them to their favorite fishin hole or huntin spot. We also remember that most of them seem to slowly disappear into a pile of rusty dust. These first generation sport utility vehicle have grow in popularity over the last twenty years and are in such demand that there are companies that make this body in fiberglass to replace the patched and bondoed together old steel bodies. This all steel 1974 Bronco for sale is an incredible find but it wasnt always like this. The current owner started with a very clean and mostly rust free Bronco and started by stripping it down to the frame. Then any metal that wasnt up to snuff was cut out and new metal was welded in its place. Once it was made ready and the deep green paint was applied it became apparent that all that work was not in vein as the body is so straight that the reflection in the deep green paint looks like a mirror. With a rubber mat on the floor and Black vinyl on the seats this bronco is ready to go fishing or, to take your favorite someone out on the town. Under the hood is a lively 302CID small block ford. Known for its ability to climb through the RPM in a rapid fashion. To help with this, a semi high rise dual plane intake has an Edlebrock® four barrel feeding the engine all the go juice it desires. A Petronix Flame thrower® coil sends the fire to the plugs via the distributor and a set of tri y headers deal with the exhaust. Backing this power plant is a C4 3 speed automatic transmission and I believe a 9 inch holds the back end up and connects the 33-inch B.F. Goodrich® T/A tires. If you are looking for a Bronco that has been restored to a very high level and is ready to wisk you away to the Mountains, or, your favorite restaurant, stop looking and start calling. Options for this 1974 Bronco for sale include: AM/FM radio, CD player, Power steering and brakes with front disc. Seat belts, Vinyl interior and Radial tires wrapped around Alloy wheels. This Bronco for sale in our Nashville showroom can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com if you would like to see this car in person we welcome you to stop in our Nashville showroom at 320 Tech park Dr. Suite 600 La Vergne Tn 37086

Description:

Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is the beautiful 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible. This classic beauty was restored by Jerry Miller of Jerrys Classic Cars back in 2014 and remains in great shape. The 57 Ford models featured a clean single headlight front end and had some sleek tail fins that were key distinguishing factors from other cars. The beauty is powered by the original 292 CID V8 with only a little over 140 miles on it since the rebuild. The car went through an exhausting restoration with photos to show it was thoroughly gone through. With over $72,000 in receipts the amount of replacement parts, re-chroming, and rebuilding of components is endless. Some of the items just to name a few include: New heater core, exhaust system, new carpet, rebuilt wiper motor, new fuel tank, new radiator and rebuilt rear end. This a clean car and worth seeing in person. With nearly all the internals either replace or rebuilt, this classic piece of history runs like a top notch machine. The car is painted a soft Willow green throughout the exterior and accented on the inside. With a clean set of wire wheels and white wall tires, this car pops at any car show you decide to take it too. All the chrome trimming, and bumpers are in great shape as they were re-chromed during the restoration as well. The convertible top is automatic and moves up and down with ease, so you can enjoy those weekend cruises with some fresh air a bit more. The Interior is done in a dark green vinyl with a lighter green to match the exterior. The seats are all in great condition with no major rips or tears. The car also features a dark green boot to give the car a cleaner appearance when you have the top down. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this One of a kind Shelby Can Am. Only 74 ever produced and less than 40 remain. Powered by a 255hp Dodge V6 specially produced by Chrysler for Shelby. Chassis and transmission built to handle 500hp. These cars were known to be fast, fun and safe. They were originally built as an inexpensive way to get into racing. All cars were identically set up with sealed engines as to focus on driver ability. They were raced in SCCA series from 1991-1996. Many of the drivers went on to have successful pro. careers. Today most are raced in Vintage racing. What makes this car special is that its one of only four ever built at the Shelby factory. All others were sold in kit form. This car was purchased direct from Shelby and immediately placed in storage. It has never been raced!! The Shelby Can-Am was developed by automotive legend Carroll Shelby for the Sports Car Club of America. Shelby had ambitions to bring back the Can Am race creating a level playing field resulting in the best driver winning. When these cars were bought they were shipped in pieces that would then have to be put together by the new owner. This specific Can AM is supposedly 1 of only 4 that were put together by Shelby America. In the ealry 2000s 28 were bought and shipped over to South Africa to continue racing. The select few in Africa received new bodies and other upgrades reducing the originality of the cars. This particular one never saw time racing on the track resulting in a clean unabused engine and chassis. It was marketed as an equal opportunity race car, with the strict proviso that no further modifications to the car are permitted. Cockpit provides on-board diagnostic check for engine management, and the pedal system and steering column are adjustable for driver comfort. MIG welded super strong steel space frame supports a-arm front suspension. Aluminum crush box riveted to frame protects drivers feet. Sealed, high-performance Dodge based v-6 engine developed by Shelby engineers to provide at least 30 hours of tract time between rebuilds. Transmission is 4 speed purpose built for the Shelby Can-Am. Body boasts a three piece 0.080 Fiberglass, unique semi open front wheels increase drivers front and side visibility.
