Description:

Gateways Houston showroom is very proud to present this epic 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca edition. The Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca puts a race-ready version of the new Ford Mustang Boss 302 directly into any enthusiasts hands. Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca builds on the bumper-to-bumper improvements found on the standard Boss while further stiffening the chassis and installing an aerodynamics package carried over almost in its entirety from the Ford Racing Boss 302R. Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca cars are powered by the same smooth, high-winding 440-hp 5.0-liter V8 as the standard Boss, since the engine was already tuned specifically for road racing. Instead, engineers turned their attention toward delivering power to the ground most efficiently, and getting the car around a track in the quickest possible time. Engine power routes through a six-speed close-ratio manual gearbox to a standard 3.73-ratio Torsen limited-slip differential, helping the revised rear suspension deliver maximum torque and traction under the punishing conditions encountered on the track. Higher spring rates and a larger rear stabilizer bar - all upgraded over Boss specifications - help generate unrelenting grip. And drivers can dial in exactly the level of shock stiffness a particular track requires using the four standard, independently adjustable dampers with Laguna Seca-specific valving. Laguna Seca models receive Ford Racing front brake ducts that force outside air directly onto the 14-inch vented front rotors, helping to eliminate brake fade and ensure hard, repeatable late braking on the track. Combined, the braking changes help refine the sense for drivers of being directly connected to the pads - an essential edge during car-to-car combat on a road course. The final touch for a proper race car was to add the proper wheels and tires: Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca models use lightweight 19-inch alloy racing wheels in staggered widths: 9 inches in front, 10 inches in the rear. R-compound ultra-high-performance tires, 255/40ZR-19 in the front, 285/35ZR-19 in the rear, maintain contact with the pavement - a job that ended up being trickier than expected. This 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca mustang is in pristine condition and is basically like new condition. From bumper to bumper the car is very clean and well cared for. This car has some custom upgrades such as a custom Fays2 track suspension fitted to the car by MRT here in Houston. It has a custom shifter with shift kit, a lightweight drive shaft, upgraded Parnelli Jones cold air intake tube & filter, along with a custom hood for the car. The owner has all of the original parts for the car if the new owner wanted to return it all to stock form. This car also features a custom all black job ordered from the factory and is one of one. All of the cars components are in great condition and is still in like new condition. It does not look like the car has been tracked very much or at all. It is a very low mileage car with under 13k miles this thing is barely broken in yet. All options work as they should, and this car is turn key ready for a new home. To see more pictures of this car with an HD video, please follow the link below to the cars page on our website. http://gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/2012/ford/mustang-S1026.html For more information on this 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 call the Houston Showroom at 832-243-6220 or email houston@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars is 1968 Chevrolet Corvette. This two-top convertible is powered by the bad to the bone numbers matching L-71 427. The L-71 is fitted with solid lifters, high compression pop up pistons, steel crank, 4 bolt mains and triple Holley two-barrel carburetors. This is an entirely different animal than the 400-horsepower hydraulic lifter 427. Horsepower figures are not far off between the two with the L-71 being rated at 435. GM was notorious for under rating their engines. The 435 horsepower was measured at 5,800 RPM, however this engine makes peak power near 6,000 RPM and true power is closer to 450HP. This beautiful example is painted in Polar White with a Black soft top, Black vinyl covered auxiliary hard top and Black vinyl interior. Other equipment includes, optional Bright Metal Wheel Covers, Power Brakes, AM/FM radio, Red stripe Firestones, 3.70 Posi-Traction, M-21 Close ratio Muncie 4-speed and Transistorized ignition. Included with the sale is the original Tank Sticker! The frame off restoration was completed in 2001 and paint was resprayed one year ago and looks fantastic. For more information on this well restored and documented 1968 Chevrolet Corvette L-71 427 4-speed convertible, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon edition. WOW! This car is so fast that even the color has a fast name, supersonic blue. Chevrolet took the 2010 Z06 with its 505 horsepower 7 liter LS 7 V-8 engine and made it lighter and limited, as only 500 of these were made. Here is your chance to own an incredible car that almost no one has ever heard of. If you are wondering what makes this car even more special than a Z06 well trust me it is not just badging and a couple extra scoops. This 2011 Z06 for sale takes advantage of carbon fiber in key areas to help both lighten the car and allow it better handling. Let’s talk performance, how about 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds? Standing quarter mile in 11.8 @ 123 miles per hour! As for Braking 60 to 0 in 96 feet! So how does it handle you ask? How about 1.03 on a 200 foot skid pad! Ok I know this is Greek or Geek to some of you so in short, Very fast, stops short and handles so well your eye balls will be forced to look at the outside of the curve. But this is not just a brutish muscle car that handles well, inside the cabin you will find refinements like AM/FM stereo with compact disc player to entertain your ears while the navigation system alerts you of your next turn as your finger grip the suede covered steering wheel designed to give you hand the best grip without slipping. The seats have the same treatment to keep your back side from sliding in the chair as you slam through the gears and point the nose at the next apex, well, it always gets back to performance with this one. Options for this 2011 Z06 Carbon Edition for sale include: Air conditioning, Cruise control, Heated leather seats with suede inserts, Power, brakes, steering, locks, windows, and seats, Anti lock brakes, Anti theft system , Tilt and telescopic steering wheel, Traction control you will need this, and a lot more. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is fired up in presenting this 1970 Dodge Challenger for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom. Dodge offered up the Challenger as a smaller performance muscle car in its lineup as opposed to the Charger which carried the same engine and transmission options for the most part. The most desirable year Challenger arguably to say for most would be the 1970 which offered to be either a 318, 340, 383, 440 or a 426 hemi equipped car. This Challenger has been taken to the next level by adding a 528 cubic inch Hemi V8 under the hood putting down well over 600 horsepower. The Hemi is bolted to a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission which Quarter Stick styled shift controls. The power is transferred back to a Dana rear axle which is sporting a 3:83 gear ratio. The Challenger is coated in a gloss black paint job which features custom metallic purple flames in the front and custom Hemi emblems on the hood. The tasteful custom look of this car is capped off by adding a set of Foose aluminum chrome wheels wrapped in low profile radials. The Challenger features power brakes, power steering, and an aftermarket radio deck with a CD player to make or easier cruising in this horsepower packed monster. This 1970 Dodge Challenger is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. This 57 is painted in a traditional Venetian Red with an Ivory cove and a Beige soft top with matching hard top. 1957 was a big year for the Corvette. Fuel Injection and an optional 4 speed were introduced. Engine options were becoming more popular and ranged from a standard 220 horse single carburetor all the up to a Fuel Injected 283 pumping out 283 horse power. In 1957, this was a staggering number. To be able to produce one horsepower per cubic inch was almost unheard of. This fine example was built in early December of 1956. Original stamp pad on original engine was F1026FG. This decodes Flint Michigan, October 26th of 1956, Dual Quad Power Glide. Accompanied with the sale are copies of the original paperwork from dealer in Troy, NC to prove original stamp pad #s on original block. Present engine has correct early 1957 dual quad carburetors, correct intake manifold 3739653 and correct 997 dual quad heads which are cast dated J-24-6. Replacement rebuilt engine block 3731548, 5,000 - 10,000 miles since rebuild is cast dated J-18-6 and has been stamped F1026FG. Original paperwork from original dealer who first sold the Vette on 7-31-57 to original owner that proves car was originally Venetian Red. It also has correct rebuilt 1110891 dual point distributor, correct rebuilt wiper motor 5047984, correct rebuilt generator 1102043. It has a reproduction coil 1115091. All gauges work and has a rebuilt speedometer, Quartz clock and an aftermarket electronic tachometer. Rubber is near new with 500 miles on Coker radials and hubcaps are correct non-vented. The Corvette is with its 4th owner with history going back to the original purchase and has been with the same owner since 1990. Description:

Motorcar Classicsis proud to offer this historically significant 1959 Ferrari 250GT Coupe, Vin #1471. This car (cited in Wikipedia in Ferraris entry) has fully documented important history from new.Its provenance and bespoke features arguably make this 1959 Ferrari 250 GT coupthe best example of its kind in the World. Importance of the 250 GT coup to Ferrari: The understated elegance of this Ferrari coup singularly saved Ferrari, because Enzo Ferrari asked Pinin Farina to design a gentlemans car built on a racing chassis. It resulted in this 250GT coup, which quickly garnered praise of World leaders and industry titans, funding Ferraris racing team. The GT Coup eschewed the fender vents, for simple, clean lines and a notchback look with panoramic rear window. The oval grille was replaced by a more traditional long narrow look with protruding headlights. This elegant Pinin Farina coupon the 250GT chassis was among the earliest Ferrari series production cars, with 350 examples handcrafted between 1958 and 1960, occupying vin numbers 0841 to 2081. These cars could be ordered with subtle variations accommodating discerning customers tastes, although a very small handful such as this one was a show-cars constructed on the 250GT chassis.Royal Pedigree: Enzo handcrafted this Ferrari bespoke edition for his close friend, HRH Prince Bertil of Sweden, a connoisseur of fine motorcars. #1471 first appeared publicly at the Frankfurt Motor Show with accouterments shared by no other early Series I, 250 GT; including four-wheel disc breaks, a racing transmission with overdrive, and a passenger hand-hold for his Princess Lilian.Prince Bertil considered #1471 perfect, being a Gran Turismo allowing it to accommodate luggage while touring the Cte dAzur while vacationing at his Royal Villa Mirage in the South ofFrance. Engine Specifications: The original Colombo-designed Tipo 128C 3.0-liter engine was superseded by the twin-distributor 128D, which in turn was supplanted in 1960 by the outside-plug 128F engine, which replaced its predecessors siamesed inlets in favor of six separate ports. The Tipo 125C engine proved superbly capable both on the road and track, explaining its timelessness. With its triple Weber carburetor, it produced 240 horsepower, giving the 250GT a top speed of 150 mph, making it the fastest GT car available. Four-wheel disc brakes became optional in 1959 and a four-speed-plus-overdrive gearbox the following year.Mancini Report: This car, chassis number 1471GT, is a 250GT Series 1 Coup. It started life in May of 1959, when its bare chassis was sent to the Torino factory of Carrozzeria Pinin Farina, and clothed in Coupcoachwork. The seventh to last of the first series128D chassis. Because of specifications fron Enzo Ferrari, 1471GT was factory equipped with four wheel disc brakes, and the offset-lever four-speed overdrive transmission. It was finished in two-tone livery of Grigio Argento on the top, and a Bianco on its lower half. Inside was a contrasting Rossa hides and carpeting. The car was completed in October of 1959, and soon thereafter, directed to Delivery of HRH Prince Bertil of Sweden, delivered to the official Ferrari importer and agency of Sweden, Tore Bjurstrom. Soon after taking delivery, Mr. Bjurstrom had the car transported to Germany for display at the 1959 International German Motor Show - IAA in Frankfurt. After the show, the car returned to Sweden, so that HRH Prince Bertil, could take delivery in late 1959. The Duke of Halland, Prince Bertil Gustaf Oskar Carl Eugn was 47 years of age when he took delivery of his new Ferrari Pinin Farina Coup. After driving seasonally on the Cte dAzur, in 1961 1471GT was sold to Langdon Proctor, a respected Classic Automobile collector and highly successful European business executive residing in Switzerland during summers. 1471GT was registered in Switzerland specifically on Swiss canton Vaud license plate VD #106426, by Proctor and frequently driven by Proctor who resided in Chateau Le chteau de Bardonnex in Laussane. In November 1964, the Ferrari was returned to the factory in Maranello, where it was serviced and maintained at Ferraris factory Assistenza Clienti service center. At that point in history, the car had 53,190 kilometers on its odometer. In July 1964, Proctor had the car painted in silver in Laussane, Switzerland. In 1966, 1471GT accumulated 70,000 kilometers on its odometer, and had its engine removed for rebuild at Garaga Pesa SA in Lausanne, Switzerland. In the late 1960s, Langdon Proctor sold 1471GT to John Lindsay, an American residing in Switzerland seasonally. Mr. Lindsay gifted #1471 to his father, Hamlin Lindsay. In 1970, #1471 car was crated and shipped on M/V Atlantic Crown Ocean liner to NYC, New York, USA. Hamlin Lindsay occasionally showed #1471, and it 1974 its ownership reverted to Jon Lindsay. #1471 remained in his collection under his careful stewardship until 1983, when a San Francisco Executive purchased it, Marc Wilcoxen. Mr. Wilcoxen cared for #1471 for fifteen years, before selling it in July, 1999 to William Tipton, also of California. 1471GT remained in Mr. Tiptons stewardship for fifteen years. During that time, 1471GT was acquired by Kevin Pauza, of Naples and New York City in 2015, and began an extensive multi-year restoration, returning it to its original 1959 show presentation. Restorers in Italy, Califotrnia, and Texas participated. Ferrari Concourse Judge James Patterson, of Norwood Auto Italia prepared the car, restoring #1471 to its original configuration as presented at the 1959 Frankfurt Auto Show by Enzo Ferrari and HRH Prince Bertil of Sweden.#1471 250 GT may visit the manicured show lawns with its next steward for the first time, with its originally specified bianco, grigio, and contrasting rossa hides. Mancini report, documents, original tools, jack, and spare borrani wire remain with 1471. Your inspection is invited!

The first fruit of their collaboration at Ford was the 1969 Mustang, most notably the Boss 429 whose mission was to homologate the new 429/375 HP “Semi Hemi engine for NASCAR. Close on the heels of the “Boss Nine was the Boss 302, the purpose of which was to depose the Chevrolet Camaro (which, ironically, Shinoda had designed before leaving GM) from the SCCA Trans Am series throne it held in 1968 and 1969. The 1969 Boss 302 offered here from exemplifies the template by which the 1970 edition would secure the Trans Am title. Produced at the Dearborn Assembly Plant on May 26, 1969, it was sold new in South Carolina, one of 338 finished in Bright Yellow with a Black standard interior. The Boss 302 engine uses 10.5:1 compression, forged rotating assembly and high flow heads from the 351 Cleveland engine for a factory rating of 290 HP; the requisite Borg Warner 4-speed transmission and optional 3.91 Traction-Lok differential complete the Boss potent drivetrain. Special Handling Suspension, power front disc brakes and wide rubber on Argent painted Magnum 500 wheels made the Boss, in the words of Car & Driver magazine, “the best handling Ford to ever come out of Dearborn. Fully restored in 1988 and well cared for ever since, this exemplary Boss 302 comes complete with original service records and full receipts and ownership history with testimonials. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this numbers matching 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z28 RS for sale in the Indianapolis showroom. This gorgeous red exterior and black vinyl interior Z28 was frame off restored approximately 15 years ago at approximately 49,000 original miles. The current owner has put the remainder of the miles (it currently shows 49,576 miles) on the vehicle in the last 5 years. With a 302 cubic inch V8 coupled to a 4 speed manual transmission feeding a 12 bolt 4:11 Positraction rear, and Rally wheels wrapped in radials, the power brakes and power steering complete the factory configuration. This vehicle is documented by the NCRS and shows that the official production date was 04/05/1968. The original delivery dealer was dealer code 242 in zone 49. The name and address of that dealer is believed to be Hornbeck Chevrolet Inc in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. The Z28 performance package was designed (with further modifications) to compete in the SCCA Trans-Am series. It included a solid-lifter 302 V8, 4-speed transmission, power disc brakes, and two wide stripes down the hood and trunk lid. The Z28 option code was introduced in December 1966 for the 1967 model year. It was the brainchild of Vince Piggins, who conceived offering virtually race-ready Camaros for sale from any Chevrolet dealer. This option package was not mentioned in any sales literature, so it was unknown to most buyers. The Z28 option required power front disc brakes and a close-ratio Muncie 4-speed manual transmission (posi-traction was optional). It featured a 302 cu in (4.9 L) small-block V-8 engine, 3 stroke crankshaft with 4 bore, an aluminum intake manifold, and a 4-barrel vacuum secondary Holley carburetor of 780 cfm. The engine was designed specifically to race in the Trans Am series (which required engines smaller than 305 cu in (5.0 L). Advertised power of this engine was listed at 290 hp (216 kW). This is an under-rated figure. Chevrolet wanted to keep the horsepower rating at less than 1 hp per cubic inch, for various reasons (e.g. insurance and racing classes). The factory rating of 290 hp occurred at 5300 rpm, while actual peak for the high-revving 302 was closer to 360 hp (268 kW) (with the single four barrel carb) and 400 hp (298 kW) (with optional dual-four barrel carbs) at 6800-7000 rpm. The Z28 also came with upgraded suspension, racing stripes on the hood and trunk lid, 302 front fender emblems on the 67 and early 68 cars, and Z28 emblems in late 68 & 69. It was also possible to combine the Z28 package with the RS package. Only 602 Z28s were sold in 1967, along with approximately 100 Indianapolis Pace Car replicas. 7,199 Z28s were sold in 1968. The 1967 and 1968 Z28s did not have the cowl induction hood, optional on the 1969 Z28s. The 1967 Z28 received air from an open element air cleaner or from an optional cowl plenum duct attached to the side of the air cleaner that ran to the firewall and got air from the cowl vents. 15-inch rally wheels were included with Z28s while all other 1967-9 Camaros had 14-inch wheels. The origin of the Z28 nameplate came from the RPO codes - RPO Z28 was the code for the Special Performance Package. RPO Z27 was for the Super Sport package. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is excited to offer this 2-owner 1 family owned 1973 Jensen Interceptor Mark III. This is a numbers matching, low-mileage car, with many service records - to verify the miles of 20,127. When the torch was passed - this car was treated from 2009-2011 to a partial restoration including paint, engine and trans rebuilding, and a lot of detailing! This car shows better than new!! The Jensen Interceptor is a hand built car from a small town in England. Jensen Motors utilized Chrysler V-8s with the base being the 383 Big Block- this fine example is powered by the 440, rated at 280-hp, mated to a 727-TorqueFlite automatic transmission, and a limited slip differential in a conventional Salisbury rear end. This fine example has 4-wheel power disc brakes, and vintage a/c. This car has some unique history, all service records, some early photos, and documentation - cars like this rarely come available. GCC would classify the Burgundy paint work on this car to be show quality - and would make anyone proud to show off! The trim, emblems, and bumpers are all in very good condition, and shows the care they have been exposed too! Take a look under her bonnet - and youll find the same level of detail - down to the color coordinated air cleaner and valve covers - nice and clean!
