Description:

This 1999 Shelby Series 1 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The name Shelby has been associated with unbelievable street machines since the early sixties. From his original AC Cobra to his work with the Dodge Viper team the man had done work with all three of the big American brands. The only thing he had not done was build a car from the ground up which beginning in 1997 that would all change. The Series one was the only car produced by Shelby from a clean slate. From the aluminum chassis to the curvaceous lines of the body the Series 1 was all Shelby. The 249 production cars made were all titled as 1999’s though there were others produced as component cars the original production cars are the ones that are true collectors. This beauty has lived a pampered life with less than 2700 miles on the odometer this Series 1 is ready to be put into another collection. The carbon fiber body is in excellent condition, showing no signs of abuse or neglect, she truly is a remarkable example. The silver paint was chosen by Shelby as he felt any other color would take away from the cars lines. The only option available was a set of racing stripes in multiple colors making this all silver one a rare find. The huge opening in the hood is reminiscing of the classic 60’s Leman racers that Carrol had beat with his GT40. The vents in the side have a C3 Corvette feel to them with the rear end having its own unique look. Under that hood is a GM based 4.0 V8 putting out 320HP. Mated to a ZF 6 speed transmission the car is all business. Inside this Series 1 is a seat of Black leather buckets with Carroll Shelby’s signature stitched in the back. With multiple Shelby checkered Snake eyes placed here and there you are reminded that this is what Shelby always wanted his Cobra to be. The fact they only made 249 of these cars is truly amazing. With this one though having the stripe delete option it truly is like finding a needle in a haystack. AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Brakes, Manual Convertible Top, Power Steering, Leather Interior, Power Windows, Tilt Steering Wheel, Aluminum Alloy Wheels with Radial tires. For more information on this 1999 Shelby Series 1, please call the Louisville showroom at (812) 294-1555 or email us at louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. To see more of it, go to our website: www.GatewayClassicCars.com, where youll see over 100 HD photos and an HD video of it in operation. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This is one bad machine! Power comes from a Super Charged 416 cubic inch LS3 making a whopping 756 horsepower! The engine is from Wegner Motorsports and features a Callies forged rotating assembly, LSA cylinder heads, TPIS 102mm throttle body, custom camshaft to work with the blower, 2.9 Whipple blower with air to water sandwich intercooler, external heat exchanger and a hidden Bosch pump. Adding some flare to this awesome engine is a set of Wegner billet valve covers painted Charcoal Gray to match the giant blower. It is truly amazing how driver friendly these high horsepower cars are today. If you wanted 700+ horsepower from a big block from the 60s, you would be running high compression, lots of fuel and a camshaft that would hate life under 4,000 RPM. This work of art starts on the first try, runs on pump gas and is a breeze to drive. It makes power right off idle. This beautiful power plant is worthless without a transmission built to handle the power. This transmission is ready for all 756 horsepower. 4L80E 4 speed automatic with overdrive, performance torque converter with lock up, a large external transmission cooler with a fan and a slick operating push button shifter from Performance Drivetrain Solutions. Aft of the transmission is a PST 3.5 aluminum driveshaft and back to a custom 12 bolt with 3.30 gears, upgraded 35 spline axles, 1/2 wheel studs and an Eaton limited slip. Making sure that everything is communicating with each other there are monitoring sensors for all the engine and transmission functions. There is also a USB connection for laptop tuning and gauge display. The suspension powder coated NOS F41 components and includes powder coated tubular front control arms, powder coated and boxed rear control arms and Viking Warrior double adjustable coil overs for the front and rear. Brakes are Wilwood 6 piston calipers up front and 4 piston calipers for the rear. Wheels are Billet Specialties 18x9 and 18x10 with Mickey Thompson drag radials out back. The restoration was a full frame off rotisserie and included a full new glass kit, restored original GM chrome and stainless, complete new factory wiring harness, NOS T3 headlights, NOS taillights and marker lights, all GM brackets, hinges and latches were blasted and powder coated. After a Walnut shell media blasting, the car was blocked numerous times and painted in a base coat/clear coat custom Silver paint finished off with 5 coats of clear. Inside is just as stunning as the rest of the build. Custom leather front and rear seats start things off. Legendary front and rear panels, custom package tray and Ultra leather for headliner and sail panels. The build was completed in July of 2016 and has covered a modest 488 miles. For more information on this show stopper, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

For sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago Showroom is this rare and highly collectable 1967 Plymouth GTX HEMI. This bad boy just went through a complete restoration and is ready for any show with its clean blue paint. Inside the excellent and original B-body, it sports a clean blue vinyl interior with bucket seats and the original dash. An Equus Oil Pressure gauge has been added just to make sure this beast is running at its max ability. It sits on the stock 14-inch Rally Rims. Under the hood lies the legendary Mopar 426 CID HEMI, nicknamed the Elephant and rightfully so! When this motor hit the racing market, it was the biggest and most powerful engine of the time. Open the hood and you understand how it got its nickname. The Elephant is paired to the original 4 speed manual transmission with 3:54 gears and emits its noise through dual chrome tip exhausts. All this power is transmitted to a Dana-60 rear end. The odometer currently reads 40,877. If youre looking for a beautiful addition for your collection, look no further. Estimated to be one of approximately 45 produced, this 1967 hardtop 4-speed Belvedere is in fantastic condition and truly a grade A investment. A comment from the David Wise report reads: This is an exceptional example of a restored and very well maintained GTX. I have seen many restorations and this ranks in the top percentage of cars relating to originality and quality restoration. A full copy of the report can be found under Additional Documents on our main website. You can also view the report here: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/customer_docs/chi_1523_1.pdf. 1963 Reliant Sabra for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this very rare 1963 Sabra Sport Roadster featured in dark grey metallic with red interior and black convertible top. The Sabra was a product of Autocars of Haifa, Israel, who partnered with Reliant, a UK automobile manufacturer to assemble cars in Israel. Autocars was Israels first car manufacturer and produced cars from 1957 through 1980. Most were assembled locally from components of other manufacturers. The Sport was intended to be a halo model for the brand and was was presented to the US market at the New York Auto Show in 1963. Of about 208 Sport models made it is estimated that about 50 came to the US. The Sport features a fiberglass body and was sold either as a Roadster or coupe, with a hardtop in place. It is powered by a 1703 cc four cylinder engine with two SU carbs and a four speed gearbox. The mechanical components were sourced from Ford of Britain so the car is easily serviceable. Our particular Sabra was imported from Germany and may be one of the finest surviving examples. The name Sabra is the Hebrew word for a native-born Israeli and these cars rarely come to market. Performance is comparable to similar British sports cars of the period. The car Will attract a great deal of attention on any show field.

The car is original with the exception of an Pioneer AVH-200EX Bluetooth Stereo (The original Toyota stereo is included) and Grey vinyl racing stripes. (Removable) It has covered only 15,430 miles in the hands of three owners. It has no history of damage or paintwork. With an unmatched combination of brute power, attractive looks and everyman appeal, the Supra offered performance and style that defined a genre. These cars were a great value when new and judging by todays market prices they are on the path to become great collectible cars in the future. This example is truly investment-grade.Following is a list of features from the included window sticker:STANDARD FEATURESMechanical and Performance:3.0 liter six cylinder twin-cam 24 valve twin turbo electronically fuel injected engine4-speed automatic transmissionTorsen limited slip differentialTraction control systemFour wheel independent double wishbone suspensionSpeed sensing progressive power rack and pinion steeringFour sensor, four channel anti-lock brake systemPower four wheel vented disc brakes235/45ZR17 front tires255/40ZR17 rear tiresSafety:Driver and front passenger airbagsThree point seatbelts with ALR/ELR passenger beltsSide impact door beamsExterior:Removable sport roofFour aluminum alloy wheelsIntegrated projector fog lampsDual color-keyed heated power outside mirrorsComfort and Convenience:Power drivers seatVariable intermittent wipersPower windows and door locksTilt wheel with cruise controlCFC free automatic climate controlTheft deterrent systemOPTIONAL EQUIPMENTDC: Premium three in one ETR/cassette/CD player with subwoofer, programmable equalization and power diversity antenna ($985) (No longer present)LA: Leather trimmed seats and armrests ($1,100)RE: Rear spoiler ($420)CF: Carpeted floor mats ($78)WL: Wheel locks ($50)VEHICLE TOTAL: $47,500TOTAL OPTIONS: $2,633DESTINATION CHARGE: $397TOTAL VEHICLE MSRP: $50,530Panel gaps are, in typical Toyota fashion, incredibly precise. Its paint is excellent. Overall, the car appears to have been cherished from new. As a classic example of the proven Japanese tradition of packing universal good looks with tons of functionality, this Supras exterior masks its first rate sophistication with elegant simplicity. At the front of the car, large flush-fitting chrome headlight buckets mount halogen headlights and HID fog lights between a contoured bumper that incorporates front and side mounted amber turn signals. Deep and lustrous black window frames which display no UV damage. The snug fitting roof panel is easily removed and replaced. The taillights, with four individual round lenses, are perfectly clear. The real reason Supras are so insanely popular, rare, and expensive lies under the hood. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder makes the Supra truly special. The Inline six motor is silky smooth and presents easy routing for turbochargers. The engine is rated at 320 horsepower thanks to dual sequential turbochargers. The benefit is plenty of flexible power with little turbo lag; the first turbo spools up at low engine speeds for quick throttle response, while the second comes in at higher speeds and and delivers a huge rush. There is a slight hesitation in acceleration, and then the car explodes with an adrenaline-rush of power that can make the tires struggle to hold on. Although they were available with 6-speed manuals, Supras equipped with this cars smooth shifting 4-speed automatic are delightful due to the huge reserve of torque. This cars ride height is completely stock, and nothing else has been modified or replaced during the past 17 years. 17 inch alloy wheels are shod with fresh and correct 235/45 front and 255/40 rear Yokahama radials. Wonderfully preserved, the tan leather seats show almost no signs of use and despite their light coloring, no dirt or wear. The dash and console are black, of course, and provide a striking contrast to the light upholstery. Naturally, everything is angled towards the driver, and controls are straightforward and well laid out in typical Toyota fashion. Tan carpets are in excellent condition thanks to a set of black white Supra branded floor mats. And the door panels, which feature controls for the cars power windows and power door locks, are intentionally simple to match the exterior of the car. Behind the cockpit, an immaculate hatch maintains enough room to stow the targa roof, and at the same time, carry a small amount of groceries home from the store.Documentation for this pristine Supra includes the cars original window sticker and the original books and manuals.

1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Mongoose Replica. Motorcar classics is proud to present this 1963 Corvette Grand Sport Coupe Replica that was factory-built as a turnkey car by the respected experts at Mongoose Motorsports. Chevrolets Grand Sport race cars gained the Mongoose nickname on the track at Sebring, where they trounced Shelbys Cobras. Mongoose Motorsports picked up on that nickname for their meticulously engineered and hand-crafted replicas. This is a fresh car with only 2,863 miles which benefits from being registered as a 1963 Chevrolet. The Mongoose GS Coupe Replica consists of a new fiberglass body with a custom chassis of tubular design similar to the original Grand Sports. However, it utilizes modern suspension and brakes from a C4 Corvette. While the Mongoose can be built for street or track, this particular car offers huge performance by virtue of its GM Performance Ramjet 502 CI V8 and user-friendly amenities including power windows, A/C and stereo radio. Our Mongoose is featured in Cherry Red metallic with Dove Grey interior and Arctic White stripes. The car comes with three binders that are a photographic record of the build plus documentation of all of the components which include Hedman headers, Tremec TKO 6-speed gearbox, Lakewood bellhousing with Centerforce clutch, Newman Car Creations differential, Vintage AC, Auto Meter gauges, Sony stereo with Pioneer speakers, Flaming River tilt steering column, and more. The Grand Sport was one of Chevrolets most iconic racing cars, only five were built, making them rarer than racing Cobras, and valued in the seven figures, if one were to become available. This Mongoose is a fitting tribute that you can drive and show today.

Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1989 Cadillac Eldorado. This clean car fax two owner car has actual mileage and feels very new. Upscale luxury for Cadillac in 1988 was met with an extensive restyle, and sales nearly doubled from the previous year, up to 33,210. While the wheelbase, doors, roof, and glass remained relatively unchanged, new body panels gave the 1988 model a more identifiable Eldorado appearance. Underneath the restyled hood was Cadillacs new 155 horsepower 4.5 liter V8. A comprehensive anti-lock braking system, developed by Teves, was newly available. Longer front fenders held bladed tips, and a new grille above the revamped front bumper. In back, new three-sided tail lamps appeared along with a new bumper and trunk lid. Bladed 14 aluminum wheels remained standard, while an optional 15 snowflake-pattern alloy wheel was included with the Touring Suspension option. The interior held wider front seat headrests and swing-away door pull handles. New upholstery patterns, along with shoulder belts for outboard rear-seat passengers, appeared for both base and Biarritz models, with the latter bringing back the tufted-button design - last seen in the 1985 Eldorado Biarritz. A new vinyl roof option, covering the full roof top, featured a band of body color above the side door and windows - similar to the style used until 1978. This replaced the cabriolet roof option, which covered the rear half of the roof, introduced just a year earlier. This 1988 restyle would be the last, until the model was replaced by an all-new Eldorado for 1992. With such big changes for Eldorado just a year earlier, 1989 saw little that was new. The optional automatic rearview mirror went from an electrically operated mechanical tilting mechanism to the new electrochromic style, using a clear fluid filled between the mirror and a thin sheet of glass, which tints upon activation. A new exterior color, White Diamond, brought the color choices up to 18. Gone were the 14-inch wheels, as the previously optional 15-inch snowflake-style aluminum wheel, introduced last year, was made standard for the base Eldorado. A compact disc player, available only with the Delco Bose Gold Series music system, was a new option this year, as was reversible floor mats, and gold-plated ornamentation Cadillac grille and trunk scripts, sail panel ornaments, deck lid engine plaque, trunk lock cover, tail lamp emblems, and available wire wheel cover wreath and crest. New standard items include an express-down module for the drivers window, electronic oil-life indicator, a more powerful Delco Freedom II battery, a revised factory warranty, and GMs PASS Passive Automotive Security System KEY theft-deterrent system, which activated the fuel system based upon a coded pellet within the ignition key. Previously optional items that were now added as standard equipment included a cassette player with graphic equalizer, remote fuel filler door release, and a front license plate mounting. Options include: AC, Cassette player, power brakes, power seats, wipers, reverse lights, horn, cruise control, hub caps, power steering, seat belts, power locks, tilt wheel, radial tires, power windows, alarm system, and leather interior. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this sharp looking 1997 Camaro Z28 30th Anniversary. 1997 marked the 30th year of production for the Camaro. For the occasion Chevrolet made just 979 examples of the 30th anniversary edition featuring a base white paint covered in twin orange stripes harkening back to the classic look of the 1969 Camaro Indianapolis 500 pace car. With hooker headers and a 3” Borla cat back exhaust this car sure sounds the part too. To handle all this power, the driveline is beefed up with a 2800 rpm stall TCI torque converter, Summit racing aluminum drive shaft and a Hayden transmission oil cooler and much more. This Camaro isn’t just about power though. Suspension upgrades include UMI performance rear control arms, BMR transmission torque arm, Mevo Tech upper/lower control arms and Gabriel strut assemblies making this Camaro handle like a dream. What really sets apart the look of this Z28 are the 18 inch Corvette Grand Sport wheels set over drilled and slotted rotors with orange calipers.
