Description:

This car honors history and makes history at the same time. Just as the original Grand Sport Corvettes did in 1963, it extends the current boundaries of performance for sports cars, this car does that while providing a level of luxury and safety that seemed impossible until now. So, check out this Collectors Edition, #25 of only 935, and see if this is the Corvette you have been looking for. Presented in Watkins Glen Gray Metallic, this car is gorgeous. It is trying to be somewhat understated and stealthy, but the shape of the new Corvettes, sculpted in the wind tunnel with fenders stretching out to cover massive tires, is intimidating no matter what color it is painted. Then there are those tell-tale, Tension Blue hash marks on the front fenders. They are a nod to the race cars of 1963 where they were a way to tell otherwise identical cars apart during the race. On this car, there is also a Grand Sport badge that appears on the air extractor vents just behind the front wheels. The rest of the look is lean, mean, fighting machine. It is sits low with ground effects that include an air dam that almost scrapes the ground in the front, intake, and extractor vents to direct air in very precise ways, and a rear spoiler to keep the rear end planted at speed. You should really come on down and check this car out in person. It is hard to describe in words. Open the door and any pretense of understatement goes out the window. The Tension Blue interior jumps right out at you. The leather seats with black centers trimmed in blue are comfortable and supportive. Have a seat and set the tilt and telescoping steering wheel to your driving position. You will be surrounded by luxury and technology that makes relaxed touring or sporting around back roads at speed enjoyable. The gauges are back lit and clearly visible. Power everything is at your fingertips. ZO7 package, Seats, windows, locks, cruise, Nav, and dual zone climate control. There is a plaque indicating that this car is Collectors Edition #25 just below the ventilation controls. There is a heads-up display, a back-up camera, and a killer Bose sound system. The driver in you will appreciate the shifter for the 7-speed manual transmission that falls easily to hand and offers a level of engagement while stirring it around that many cars do not have these days. For pleasure cruising, you may want to drop the top to enjoy the open-air feeling and take in the scenery. Under the hood you will find a direct injection, LT1 engine that pumps out 460 horsepower. Of-course there is some snug packaging with accessories and performance items vying for space, along with carefully crafted covers and ducts for precise airflow, so the Corvette scripted intake covers are all there is to tell the tale. The Grand Sport is a bit of a hybrid of the Z51 Stingray and the Z06. It has the Dry Sump engine of the Z51 along with the 7-speed trans with Active Rev Match, making it a very track-capable car, and the wide bodywork of the Z06 so that it can squeeze the maximum amount of rubber under the fenders and put all that power on the road. Those tires are mounted on special Grand Sport wheels and you can see the massive Brembo antilock brakes through them so you can be confident that you can haul this car back down from speed. Awesome looking, awesome performing, comfortable and collectable. Come on down and make some history of your own with this car by adding your name to the title. This 2017 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale by our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston is thrilled to offer this sizzling Centennial Silver 1999 Shelby Series 1 for sale! For those unfamiliar with Carroll Shelbys Series 1, it is one of the most unique cars that Shelby put his name on. For starters, the Series 1 was the first and only car designed, engineered and built from the ground up, as a Shelby, by Shelby American and Carroll Shelby. Every major component that went into building the Series 1 was designed specifically for it, including the modified Oldsmobile Aurora V8 320hp engine and custom ZF 6-speed manual transaxle. Its extruded aluminum frame features aluminum honeycomb reinforcement panels and is covered in carbon fiber and fiberglass laminate body panels - a first in an American car. This car is #CSX 5031, is one of just 249 produced, and was assembled at Shelbys Las Vegas facility in 1999. The Centennial Silver looks just right on this car, and the blue racing stripes that run from the chin spoiler to the top of the rear duckbill spoiler add just the right touch, combining to say this runs better than it looks. Unlike any other vehicle that sports Shelbys name, this one started with a clean sheet of paper and Shelbys vision for what the ultimate street-legal racing car should be. Equipped with modern passenger car amenities, including Air Conditioning, AM/FM/CD/Cassette Radio (8-speaker 200 watt Delco Monsoon), Cruise Control, Intermittent Wipers, Leather-wrapped Momo Steering Wheel with Tilt, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, and Power Windows, the Series 1 was pretty loaded for whats almost a purpose built race car; yet, its one youd be driving yourself to and from the race track in (and having too much fun getting there, most likely). The high back, well bolstered manual bucket seats (with their 3-point belts) keep driver and passenger snugly in place during high speed maneuvers, and fit most body types well...except the very tall, as you can read in some articles by various members of the automotive press - if youre approaching 6 5, you may need different seats. The Shelby Series 1 in this offering sports the above amenities, without any custom/special-ordered options. The controls all fall well into hand (and to feet), making this car a dream to drive fast on a good road course. The 18 diameter Shelby wheels are made by Speedline and were considered rather large back in 1999. With 18x10s up front and 18x12s in the back, Shelby Series 1 cars were putting serious rubber patches on the pavement with the OEM Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires. However, this Series 1 is equipped with BF Goodrich G-Force T/A Drag Radials at all four corners (P275-35R18 up front, P345/30R18 out back). This amounts to the kind of rubber contact that youll get if you put some track slicks on it...avoid the rain, but in the dry, most drivers wont be able to reach the limits of the cars handling prowess. If you do happen to head out for a jaunt without checking the weather forecast though, youll appreciate the fact that the convertible top is practically unused, so put it up, slow down (a lot), and you can make it home dry! There are plenty of magazine articles about this car, and perhaps one of the most informative (and fun to read) was done by MotorTrend. If you want a track-driven expose, read that one - it will make you want this car even more! Dont miss out on a very rare supercar, one that was designed and built by Carroll Shelby himself - give us a call or email us before you miss out on this one! For more information on this very rare 1999 Shelby Series 1 for sale, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/1896. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this unique 1980 Ford Thunderbird. The current owner is believed to be the 3rd since it was new in 1980. The car was brought down from Pennsylvania to Florida and has been enjoyed here since! The current owner claims that when walking around this car you would be looking at factory paint from 1980, as this car is believed to be a survivor. The yellow paint looks sharp offset with a tan vinyl top, chrome trim, chrome grille, hideaway headlights, and 14 hubcaps wrapped in radial white wall tires. The interior flows well with the paint/vinyl top and features a tan vinyl and cloth seats, air conditioning, AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, seat belts, etc. Powering this sharp Thunderbird is believed to be the 4.2L 255CID V8 Windsor engine that is mated to a 4-speed AOD overdrive automatic transmission with 19,220 on the odometer. Although the seller believes this is the miles since new, there isnt a history report on a 1980, the previous title does line up with this statement and shows 18002. If you are looking for an unmolested T-bird, this could be the one for you! Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this super nice 1984 Porsche 944. If you are looking for an extreme clean and beautiful example of a 944 stop looking. This beauty just rolled into our South Florida showroom and we are excited to have it with us. The car is just broken in with a little over 85k original miles. You are looking at a one owner Porsche that was garage kept her whole life in beautiful California until she was recently relocated to sunny Florida to the new owner. The 944 Porsches are still undervalued, and it is extremely hard to find the real good ones. This one is probably one of the nicest in the country. The exterior presents itself in excellent condition. You will have a tuff time to find any wear or tear. The black wheels are a great match to the golden paint. Open the door and see a super clean interior. No weird smells and you will immediately see that she was pampered her whole life. The seats look like the Porsche was only driven a couple of test miles. In the rear you will find the 2.5L engine that moves the 944 to the front. In connection with the 5 speed-manual transmission this car out of Stuttgart is lots of fun. With many options she is ready to go the extra mile with comfort. To make sure she is ready for the third owner the car was completely serviced recently. But the best about this car is that she is solid as a rock. We all know about the California dry weather. There is not one area where a magnet wont stick and if you peak underneath the car you will get back up with a smile on your face. This is a must see. Please dont hesitate to contact us with any questions. Let it ride!!! To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1984 Porsche 944, please visit gatewayclassiccars.com.
