Description:

Our Nashville showroom digitally showcases this stunning 1971 Ford Mustang MACH 1. Now if you where shopping at a Ford dealership in 1971 the choices in engine sizes for the Mustang ranged from the classic 302 CID to insane 429 CID. Now if 429 Cubic inches were not enough, this engine came in two choices, Cobra Jet or Super Cobra jet. The latter would only come with the “Drag pak that also had a very unfriendly rear ring and pinion even with gas running about .22 cents for 9/10th of a gallon. With Three dog night, Led Zeppelin and Tom Jones on the air waves pouring through the single speaker in the middle of the dash and the war in south east Asia on everybodys mind, someone laid down the cash and drove this stunning car off the lot. I could (and will) tell you about how nice the paint is but lets face it, what is under the hood of this car is what is on your mind. 429 cubic inches is a lot of engine to stuff between the shock perches of a 1971 MACH 1 for sale, but they did it and it fills the engine bay to the brim. This numbers matching (as stated by the owner) 71 MACH 1 comes complete with the factory big block and C6 3 speed automatic transmission. Kevin Marti reports that only 177 of these beauties were ever made like this making this a very special car. This car was factory painted white but in 1985 someone laid down a slick red paint job that includes black stripes. A matching interior was added, and a star is born. This car deserves a special place in a special collection. Options for this 1971 Mustang MACH 1 include: Air condition, AM/FM Radio, Cruise control, Power steering and brakes, Seat belts, Posi traction and Radial tires on Rally rims. This 1971 Ford Mustang MACH 1 for sale can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com Sale held pursuant to permit No. 19289 of department of licenses granted the 14th day of August 2015.

Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City is pleased to present a fun vehicle guaranteed to stand out in a crowd or even a very small gathering - a striking 1950 Willys Jeepster! The 1948-1951 Jeepster is a two-wheel-drive convertible designed by Brooks Stevens. Stevens and Willys hoped that returning World War II GIs would scoop up these fun-loving drop-tops as soon as they rolled off the assembly line. They are perhaps one of the most overlooked, but interesting, vehicles in the storied off-road makers past: a sporty automobile rather than an off-road vehicle, never offered with four-wheel drive or in any commercial guises during the four-year stint. This open-bodied car--an ever-increasing rarity as the Fifties neared--also has a spot in history as the last true phaeton offered by a major domestic automaker. The handsome Jeepster had the same front-end styling as the Willys wagon and pickup, but with a fancier look, thanks to Stevens stainless-steel T bar in the grille. As other automakers carpet-bombed the dealer lots with new cars, softening the post-war demand, Willys anticipated strong Jeepster sales from young couples and families as well. However, the buying public did find faults with the Jeepster, among them were its anemic engine and high price. At $1,765, the 1948 Jeepster cost slightly more than a Ford Super Deluxe club convertible, which had more desirable styling, functional windows and V-8 power. The Jeepsters soft top and especially drafty plastic side curtains made it impractical for cold-climate consumers. Despite its shortcomings, the Jeepster is a fun-to-drive yet practical vehicle with its open-air character and good gas mileage. As with many collectible Jeeps, its still a buyers market for Jeepsters, plus it enjoys a healthy aftermarket of parts that dont cost an arm and a leg. Our Terrific, better than new, Nassau Cream exterior with black and cream interior Jeepster is fun to look at and sheer joy to drive! There is no way to sit behind the wheel of this fun machine, on a sunny day and not have an ear-to-ear smile on your face! The same expression would be true on a cloudy day. The power plant of this Jeepster is a L-134, 4 cylinder engine backed by a three speed manual column shift. The idea is not to get their first, but to get there eventually! Bring friends, have a picnic, take a nap! The Jeepster lifestyle. If you are serious about devoting more time to automotive fun and not automotive restoration, the time to act it right now! Please call your Classic Car Dream Connection at Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City and we will be happy to provide you with the documents required to make this super fun driving machine yours! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this custom 1936 Ford Tudor humpback. This Ford has come a long way since it first rolled off the production line. Though the body is still all Henry Ford steel, the engine and trans have been removed in favor of a 5.3L LS-based V8 and 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive unit. Needless to say, this makes for a much peppier ride. A 9 Ford housing sits out back with 3:50 gears for a good mix of performance and economy. The Humpback had had plenty of work elsewhere on the chassis as well, including new ball joints, new shocks, new control arms, new power steering rack, new U-joints, and new steering joint. This is all as a refresh since the restomod was completed in 2009. At that time, the body was painted in this beautiful Midnight Blue, and the plush tan interior was installed as well. With the car comes extra documentation, such as receipts for work done on the car as well as shop manuals. With all the updates on this slick 36, it drives like a new car! Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM/CD/Cassette, Spare Tire & Jack, Lumbar Support, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Sunroof, Power Windows, Tilt Steering Wheel, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Anti-Theft System, Radial Tires, and Alloy Wheels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is offering this 1967 Chevrolet Nova. The Nova story started with very humble begins for the 1962 model year. In the beginning all Novas were called the Chevy II. The Nova name was designated as the top trim package in the early years. A tried-and-true compact car build to compete with the Ford Falcon and designed to be more contemporary than the rear engine Chevy Corvair thats concept proved to be a little too wild for the average American car buyer at the time. Sporting a more traditional set up the Nova was a car Chevy promoted a reliable and efficient compact car that was only available with a 4- or 6-cylinder engine the first 2 model years, but by 1965 a V8 could be ordered scooting Chevys little grocery getter down the road quit quickly. For the first 2 generations of the Chevy II the car was offered in coupe, sedan, station wagon and convertible body styles. As the Chevy II progressed its image changed along the way and the car could be ordered with Chevys prestigious Super Sport Package making 327 and 396 engines available and specialty Novas were even available from places like Yenko Chevrolet, NicKey Chevrolet and the internal GM C.O.P.O program suiting some of these Novas with the mighty 427ci rat motor! Our featured Nova falls into the second generation that ran for just two short model years, 1966 and 1967. The second-generation Nova showcased a more formal and boxy design that proved to be very popular with car buyers. This generation completely stands out from the Novas and proceeded it and the ones that came after, making the second generation of the Chevy II a very unique body style. Our featured Nova is finished in radiant pearl white paint accompanied by a black vinyl interior with white stripes and matching tinted window. This Nova will move down the highways and byways rapidly with the GM Performance Crate 350ci engine thats paired up with a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission thats linked to a B&M floor shifter. The car is also equipped with 3.73 posi rear end and MSD ignition. The Nova also sports a 15-inch Prime star shaped 5 spoke rims, Sunpro gauges, AM/FM stereo with 6-disc CD changer, power steering, a leather wrapped steering wheel, front seat belts and radial tired with less than 100 miles since installation. This Nova was originally titled in Colorado and is still a very solid vehicle today! Come take a ride into the past in this wonder 67 Chevy Nova!

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is excited to present this gorgeous blue 1948 Lincoln Continental Series 876H Convertible for sale. This beautiful vintage Series 876H convertible came pretty loaded from the factory and has aged extremely well for a car thats over 70 years old and is still ready to drive! Powered by what is believed to be its original 292 CID V12 and 3-speed manual transmission, it still floats down the road like the executives car that it was designed to be - powerful, smooth, and stately. This car was lovingly restored by World Wide Classics, who did all of the paint, chrome and the interior. Speaking of chrome, its adorned with plenty of the gleaming stuff...its sure to bring back fond memories for anyone who was around when this car was still fairly new. The blue metallic paint is in very good condition, and glistens in the sun. The dog dish hubcaps gleam, and the side skirts and Continental Kit add extra panache to this glorious ride. Inside, you will find the red leather upholstery is abundant, and the red carpet looks great. This big Lincoln also sports some very cool door releases: both the exterior and interior units are push-button operated. The power windows are operated by a couple similarly styled toggle-action buttons on the drivers and passengers doors. The big clock in the dash looks awesome, and it can certainly be refurbished to operate like it did when it was new. Youll be sure to appreciate the nostalgic feeling that sitting in the pilots seat will provide. So, what are you waiting for - get in, start it up, drop the automatic convertible top, and slip it into gear. Youll relish the commanding view down the long hood, with the wide, graceful front fenders low in the sight lines. Youll also appreciate the smooth ride that the Coker wide whitewall radial tires provide. Big, bold, and beautiful, this 48 Lincoln will be sure to get the thumbs-up from everyone around you on the road; so be sure not to wait to make your move on it! Additional features and options on this 1948 Lincoln Continental Series 876H include 12-volt conversion, AM Radio (not working, but repairable), Automatic Convertible Top, Leather Interior, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Spare tire and tire jack. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe. The Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a two-door coupe that was manufactured and marketed by the Chevrolet division of General Motors. Deriving its name from the namesake Monegasque city, the Monte Carlo was marketed as the first personal luxury car of the Chevrolet brand. Introduced for the 1970 model year, the model line was produced across six generations through the 2007 model year, with a hiatus from 1989-1994. The Monte Carlo was a closely aligned variant of the Pontiac Grand Prix through its entire production. For 1986, there were four distinct body styles available. The base model Sport Coupe was still available with the same general body panels that it had since 1981, but featured new aero side mirrors similar to those on Camaros and Chevrolet Corvette of the 1980s. Also new this year was the Aerocoupe model. The Aerocoupe was created by modifications to the Super Sport body, including a more deeply sloped rear window and a shorter trunk lid sporting a spoiler that lay more flat than previous Super Sports. Only 200 Aerocoupes were sold to the public, which happened to be the exact number NASCAR officials required for road model features to be incorporated into the racing cars. This Aerocoupe is 1 of 123 listed in the Aerocoupe Registry. Powering this Monte Carlo is a 5.0 Liter 305 Cubic Inch V8 backed by a 4 speed automatic transmission. Options on this 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cassette Deck, Spare Tire, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt Wheel, and Alloy Wheels.
