Description:

The year is 1964, The World’s largest cheese is manufactured in Wisconsin for the New York World Fair, US President Lyndon B. Johnson signs Civil Rights Act & Voting Rights Act into law and this gorgeous 1964 ½ HiPo Mustang rolls into dealerships for the first time. Since then she has undergone a full meticulous restoration. Now with only 45 miles on her since the restoration was completed earlier this year. It is believed that only 90 ‘64 ½ HiPo’s coupes were ever produced. The Ford Mustang is an American car manufactured by Ford. It was originally based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. The original 1962 Ford Mustang I two-seater concept car had evolved into the 1963 Mustang II four-seater concept car which Ford used to pretest how the public would take interest in the first production Mustang. The 1963 Mustang II concept car was designed with a variation of the production models front and rear ends with a roof that was 2.7 inches shorter. Introduced early on April 17, 1964 (16 days after the Plymouth Barracuda), and thus dubbed as a 1964½ by Mustang fans, the 1965 Mustang was the automakers most successful launch since the Model A. The Mustang has undergone several transformations to its current sixth generation. Its easily the best thing to come out of Dearborn since the 1932 V-8 Model B roadster. But for all Fords talk of Total Performance, its still clear that the Mustang has been designed and built to a price. The necessity of meeting cost goals meant that it had to share a maximum number of components with other models in the Ford line. Out of this situation sprang the advantage of an extremely wide availability of options for the Mustang, selected from the Falcon, Fairlane and Galaxie series. Briefly, it gives the customer a choice of four engines, three clutches, seven transmissions, two driveshafts, four brake systems, four wheel types and three wheel sizes, three suspension systems, and three steering systems. This seems slightly overwhelming until one remembers that only certain combinations are authorized, for either technical or commercial reasons. Lee Anthony Iacocca, vice president and general manager of Ford Division, sees the Mustang first as a family car, which meant that it had to have four seats, with better rear seat accommodation than is offered in the two-plus-two category. Its also aimed at a not-clearly-defined market consisting of customers looking for a not-clearly-defined combination of luxury and status. In addition to all this, the Mustang is intended as a sports car. Especially with the 271 HP V8 HiPo, backed by a 4 speed. You’ll feel like Capt. Stanley Tucker, driving this beauty down the road. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville proudly presents this awesome 1932 Ford Sedan Street Rod for sale. This ’32 Ford Sedan is definitely a throwback to way cooler times. While most modern-day street rods sport a Mustang II style front suspension, this old girl has a chromed solid drop axle and spindles. Steering is handled by a Schroeder side steer unit. The long steering rod has been drenched in chrome as well and really pops against the bright red sheet metal. The Sedan has been chopped 1 ½ inches and channeled another inch to give it a nice sleek and low look. Steel wheels have been color matched to the body, then dressed out with chromed center caps and beauty rings. The wheels have been wrapped in wide whitewall bias ply Firestone tires to finish off the classic 50’s hot rod look. Under the hood of this old school hot rod is a Buick 401 Nail Head engine. The engine has been dressed out with dual chrome weber carburetors, chrome intake, chrome Buick valve covers, and chromed lake style headers. The headers are bolted to set of stainless steel exhaust that tuck up nicely to the underside of the car. The rear end is a Winters Quick Change unit which again pays homage to the Hot rods of the 50’s and early 60’s. Inside the ’32 Ford Sedan is a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr dash. With the fit and finish, it looks like this dash came with the car. The pleated red and cream interior just screams 50’s era hot rod. Look closely though, they are a few modern amenities lurking on the inside. This ’32 Ford Sedan has a nice AM/FM radio with a CD player for your listening enjoyment. Look under the dash and you will notice a set of knobs for the AC. That’s right, this old school hot rod is equipped with Air Conditioning to keep you as cool as you will look when driving this beauty. The attention to detail and craftsmanship has made stunner an award winner. Most notable is the Goodguys/Dupont Hot Hues 2008 Hot Rod of the year. Options for this 1932 Ford Sedan Street Rod include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio with CD player, Tilt Steering Wheel, Wide Whitewall Bias ply tires with colored matched steel wheels. This particular example is the hard top variant which features the 4.7 Liter V8. This naturally aspirated 8 cylinder lump produces 420 horsepower and 346 lb ft of torque. Couple this to an automatic transmission with paddle shifted manual mode and you have a beautiful touring car experience. Description:

This could potentially be the only Cougar like this one still in existence! Sold June 23rd, 1969 this triple black Cougar was purchased and adored for many years by what is believed to be only two owners. After the current owner purchased it 6 years ago, this classic Mercury underwent a complete restoration where the car was stripped down to the bare tub. Once taken down bolt by bolt, the car was professionally restored using correct parts and no expense was sparred throughout. The same 390 cubic inch big block V8 and C-6 Merc-O-Matic that came in only 102 Cougars that year was also taken apart and professionally rebuilt. Since this work was completed and the car was put back together, there has been only 464 miles put on this stunning Cougar! The Raven black paint that was a factory color in 1969 looks deep and is like looking in a mirror and pairs well with the completely black interior and black soft top. As you sit in the driver’s seat, and stare out over the gauges, you will be impressed at the overall condition and feel as if you are looking at this Cougar back on the showroom floor in 1969. The ride in this Cougar is just as impressive. Before the interior was reinstalled, the floor pans were lined in Dynamat to keep the road noise down. This Cougar is a piece of American automotive history and is an excellent option for someone who wants a very original classic with a MARTI report and the prominence that goes with it. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1969 Mercury Cougar in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1935 Rolls Royce 20/25 Touring Limousine for sale in their Indianapolis showroom. What an amazing piece of automotive heritage! The 20/25 was Rolls Royce second pre-war entry level sedan. Offered between 1929 and 1936 it became one of Rolls Royces most successful selling models. The 20/25 enabled Rolls Royce to survive the economic climate of the Great Depression and is largely responsible for keeping the brand alive. This beautiful example still runs with the original inline 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission, and purrs like a kitten. Never rebuilt or molested, The Rolls had a repaint done in 1986, and at some point in her life the leather has been replaced. An additional coil was added to make the car easier and more dependable when starting, and an electric fan was fitted to keep the engine cool while in slower traffic. The car still has an operational centralized lubrication system, hand-crank start, Rolls Royce 2-jet carburetor, and specialized tools to remove the wheels. The all-aluminum body and custom coachwork was done by Park Ward, and paperwork exists that shows the original clients build requests and specifications. ALL ALUMINUM BODY! This Rolls was first commissioned in November of 1935, with the chassis being finished in January of 1936. The Park Ward custom body was then completed and delivered to the new owner on August 1, 1936. Built to British specs, the Rolls is a right-hand driver. Some additional features include; a manual sliding sunroof, adjustable glass partition to allow separation of the passenger compartment from the driver, courtesy lamps, nd braided assist cords, rear passenger compartment and tray, rear seat arm rest, front bumper center-mounted driving lamp, dash lights, and the Spirit of Ecstasy radiator ornament. The opportunity rarely presents itself to own such a magnificent automobile. OMG, this is such a nice well cared for car that would look good in anyones collection! Be sure to visit our web page at www.gatewayclassiccars.com to view 100+ HD pictures, as well as a short video of the Rolls in action. Better yet, stop by our Indianapolis showroom and see her in person. We are located at 4400 West 96th Street, Indianapolis, In. 46268. Call us directly at 317-688-1100, and well be happy to share additional information, or schedule an appointment for you to experience this amazing car. https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NDY/1178/1935-Rolls-Royce-20-25

These 1970 Barracudas didnt come with a ton of nonsense attached...they came with what was needed to turn heads and collect lunch money. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to offer this one-off, custom 1968 Chevrolet C10 quad cab for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. As you can already see, this C10 is not your average restoration. The owner of this truck mated a 1968 C10 with a 68 Chevy Suburban to turn it into a 4-door truck. This truck shimmers in the light in its white exterior paintjob and features a black leather interior that GM fans will recognize with items such as the push start button and center console pulled from a 2013 Silverado truck. You will also recognize the GM wheels on this 1968 C10 for sale that really make this thing pop. It has also been converted to 4-wheel disc brakes. Under the hood of this awesome build is a reliable 4.8l Vortec V8 engine from the same 2013 Silverado that produced around 295hp from the factory. Headers, hi-flow cats and a custom exhaust probably improve this number and certainly make this 1968 C10 for sale sound better. The transmission backing the motor on this build is a rebuilt 4L60E 4-speed automatic with less than 1000 miles on it. Trucks are getting big in the classic car world and there is almost nothing out there that compares with a build like this! There are so many more details to discuss on this fantastic and unique 1968 Chevrolet C10 for sale, so why not give us a call on it today at (623) 900-4884. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1957 Ford Ranchero. This 1957 Ranchero for sale has been restored to near perfect condition. This Ranchero has under gone a complete frame off restoration were every tiny thing was cleaned, rebuilt, repaired, repainted and reinstalled. The current owner then had custom badges made for the car to rename it a Rodchero. As you open the front hinged hood of this classic beauty it becomes obvious that money never entered the mind of the guy who planned and then built this car. Sitting inside this decked out compartment is a 351 Cubic inch ford small block that is pushing approx. 390 horsepower. It is easy to see the muscle bulging, with a set of headers, and a Demon® 4-barrel carburetor and Mallory® unilite electronic distributor. Backing this Blue Oval power plant is a C6 3 speed automatic transmission that has a 3000-stall converter ready to help you shred some tires. Holding up the back in of this ’57 Ranchero for sale and dividing the power to the rear tires is the bullet proof 9-inch axle housing a 390:1 gear set. Now in my opinion the Ranchero is the best of both worlds (kind of like a mullet) car in the front and truck in the back. You get to have to comfort of a car and can still haul gravel, no, that’s not wise, wood, wait, nope, well with 390 Horsepower, you know what you can haul! All the trophy’s you will win at the cars shows. Options for this 1957 Ford Ranchero include: Air conditioning, Power steering and brakes, Tilt wheel, Leather interior and Alloy wheels. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this timeless 1932 Ford 4 Door Sedan. This hot rod is powered by a 350-cubic inch GM crate engine that produces 290 horsepower. The motor was purchased new during the cars rebuild in 2016 and currently has just over 1,500 trouble-free miles on it. The transmission, a GM 700R4, was professionally rebuilt at the same time and feeds power into the 3.42:1 geared rear end that was taken out of a Chevy S10. These pieces are assembled to unite as one on a brand-new powder coated frame. When you need to test the front Wilwood brakes it is all sure to stop quickly. Once the all steel body was striped to the bare metal, it got a fresh base coat of black, only to be glazed over by a smooth, shiny clear coat to finish it off. To almost perfectly contrast the deep, dark exterior, the interior is finished in a sinister-looking red vinyl. It really takes this classic, yet modest looking hot rod to a whole new level. If hearing the healthy Small Block Chevy didn’t do enough for you, the red-in-black color scheme would make the humblest of ladies go nuts if they saw it driving down the street. While the battery is tucked out of sight to keep aesthetics high, a set of remote charging ports were installed under the frame, should you need a quick jump. This timeless, yet rarely seen 4 Door Sedan is ready to cruise the strip or hit the local car shows. Options include: Air Conditioning, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Radio, CD, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Vinyl Interior. That same year Beatles release Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band in the US, goes on to spend 15 weeks at number one. Hop inside this Sunbeam Tiger and you’ll remember how great of a decade the sixties were. The Sunbeam Tiger is a high-performance V8 version of the British Rootes Groups Sunbeam Alpine roadster, designed in part by American car designer and racing driver Carroll Shelby and produced from 1964 until 1967. Shelby had carried out a similar V8 conversion on the AC Cobra, and hoped to be offered the contract to produce the Tiger at his facility in America. Rootes decided instead to contract the assembly work to Jensen at West Bromwich in England, and pay Shelby a royalty on every car produced. Two major versions of the Tiger were built: the Mark I (1964–67) was fitted with the 260 cu in (4.3 L) Ford V8; the Mark II, of which only 633 were built in the final year of Tiger production, was fitted with the larger Ford 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine. Rootes entered the Tiger in European rallies with some success, and for two years it was the American Hot Rod Associations national record holder over a quarter-mile drag strip. Production ended in 1967 soon after the Rootes Group was taken over by Chrysler, which did not have a suitable engine to replace the Ford V8. Owing to the ease and affordability of modifying the Tiger, there are few surviving cars in standard form. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

Description:

There was a time when this 1956 Chevrolet Nomad would have been overlooked for its hardtop siblings, but that day is long gone. Today the Nomad is near the top of every Chevy fans wish list, and this gorgeous wagon gets a lot of things right: great colors, gorgeous interior, and a fully sorted LS1 drive train that offers more power and more comfort than you could get from the factory in 1956. Theres no denying the handsome good looks of this 2-door wagon the simple 56 is the best-looking of the Tri-Five Chevys. This one also carries upscale Bel Air trim (which was the only way you could get a Nomad) that includes that dramatic side spear and all the chrome has been refinished to show standards, so it truly sparkles in the sun. Cross-country haulers just dont get much better than this. The interior has been nicely upgrades with factory seats wearing leather that looks amazing. Things like the dashboard, headliner, door panels and carpets are all nicely upgraded as well, the steering wheel is a wood-rimmed unit thats on a tilt column, and there are little vents tucked under the dash for the modern A/C system which blows ice cold. Theres also an AM/FM/AUX radio that sounds pretty darned good and the gauges have been converted to digital. The cargo bay is correctly finished and offers a good deal of storage space, making this a fantastic road trip candidate. The engine is still technically a small block Chevy V8, but the 5.7 liter LS1 V8 from Street and Performance is a far cry from the original 265. It obviously fits beautifully and thanks to fuel injection and hardware, its as reliable as your daily driver and quite a bit more powerful. The suspension uses OEM parts wherever possible to ensure reliability and easy service. A 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission is a big part of the reason this car is such a pleasure to drive and the recent dual exhaust system has a pleasant burble at idle and just enough of an edge on the roll to let you know this isnt a stock Nomad. The undercarriage is quite clean and includes 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, Power brakes and 17-inch Chrome 5 Spoke wheels wearing 245/45/17 front and rear performance radials. With only 1450 Miles on this restored, it has been fully sorted and ready to enjoy, this car just works like it should. With great looks, a wonderful color combination, and that timeless Nomad appeal, this car delivers in a big way. For additional information on this 1956 Nomad, email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 817-310-9400.The interior has been nicely upgrades with factory seats wearing leather that looks amazing.
