Description:

This gorgeous Sunset red Superformance Cobra is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Superformance has been known for quite sometime for there cobra replicas. The only company that Carrol Shelby endorsed to do so. There fit and finish are the best in the business with the finished product being next level show car stuff. The paint on this beauty is as nice as they come with the red being very deep which is intensified by the extra coats of clear on top. The white racing stripes really look great against that red. Built in 2005 this cobra has only had 2 owners and looking for its third. Lying under the bonnet is a 351 that has been bored .40. With the extra cubes this Ford engine is putting out plenty of power for this little 2-seater to really get up and go. The tremec 5 speed puts you in control of that power with the 8.8 rear-end having a set of 3.55 gears this Cobra has no problem running on the highway if thats what you want to do. The fully independent suspension will allow you to attack those curves in the back country. This is one rare snake with the custom hardtop ordered from the factory with the car. Something that is rarely found on these cars. The black leather interior is in excellent shape as well and looks as if it came right of 1965. Something else that performance takes great pride in is how correct their interiors are to the real thing right down to the seat belts. AM/FM/CD, Seat Belts, Leather Interior Aluminum Wheels wrapped with Radial Tires. If you would like to see this 1965 Superformance Cobra for sale in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is more than proud to offer this extremely limited, Neiman Marcus Edition 2015 Ford Mustang GT! There is a heck of a story behind how these Neiman Marcus Mustangs came about. Back in 2015 the chain of luxury department stores known as the Neiman Marcus Group had plans to make around 100 custom Mustangs that were built the way they wanted. When creating and designing the NM Mustang, they quickly realized the very high price-point that they were trying to sell these cars at, was not going to fly with their potential customers. Ultimately the Neiman Marcus Mustangs were made, but nowhere near as many as everyone thought. With only 4 of these cars built, this one is a very special #1. At first sight you will notice the custom Neiman Marcus black and deep impact blue paint job. The abstract decal painted on the car gives it a sleek racing look. The tonneau that covers the rear seats when the convertible top comes down make this Mustang look even more like a rocket. The custom work flows all around the body of the car, even the wheels are custom made to Neiman Marcus standards. Powering this one of a kind ride is the original Coyote 5.0L engine that came standard in 2015. What didnt come standard in 2015 is a Roush Supercharger that makes this Mustang an absolute riot to drive! Backing that powerful powerplant is an MT-82, 6-speed manual transmission that is also original to this car. This Mustang rides like its on rails and is a one-of-a-kind piece that any Mustang enthusiast would love to have in their collection. Other options on this Mustang include A/C, cruise control, heated seats, tilt wheel, keyless entry, ride control, anti-theft system, and more! This 2015 Neiman Marcus Edition Mustang GT can be seen in our Detroit Showroom, or for more detailed information including over 100 HD photos and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff @ 313-982-3100. Its a real beauty, being only one of 200 (#57) painted in this custom scheme from the factory. Its very striking, especially in the sun. This Deuce is ready for its next 2,500 miles, having recently received its big 10,000-mile service. This FXSTD has a nice array of genuine H-D accessories such as a Stage One kit with a carburetor, Long Shot exhaust, a mini sissy bar, a detachable windshield, and the leather mounted bags. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a slick little 1987 Alfa Romeo Graduate Roadster. Audiences swooned over the scandalous 1967 film The Graduate. The film follows Benjamin Braddock, played by a young Dustin Hoffman in his transition into adulthood after graduating from college. Braddock is seduced by the infamous Mrs. Robinson and eventually falls in love with her daughter Elaine. Hoffmans character spends most of his time lounging in the pool, or driving his beloved 1966 Alfa Romeo Spider. The Alfa, finished in bright red, made nearly as strong as an impact on screen as Mrs. Robinson entering the room in the nude. Alfa Romeo capitalized on this exposure of their brand, and their stylish roadster. They introduced the Graduate trim level as the entry level model for their spider. This particular 1987 model is a great example which shows only 33,081 miles on the odometer. The car is finished in Jet Black exterior with Beige interior. The car has been with the same owner since new and even comes with its original window sticker. This particular car shows some signs of its age on the paint, which may benefit from a nice buff and polish. The engine however, the 2.0 Liter Dual Overhead Cam 4 cylinder runs beautifully. This twin cam, with mated to the 5 speed manual transmission makes for a beautiful driving experience. Imagine running through the gears with the wind in your hair listening to the Italian symphony which comes from the exhaust! This is a wonderful car to enter the classic car hobby with. The car shares the same Italian passion and good looks as higher end exotics which charge ten times the price. This is a great opportunity to get into a beautiful Italian made classic before these Alfas spike in price. To view this 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving just visit us online at http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. You are looking at a matching numbers 440ci 4-barrel V8 375 horse car. As you expected the VIN starts with BS23U and the story of the car begins in Los Angeles, CA where it was put together on December 10th. The car recently underwent a complete high-quality restoration. From top to bottom, from front to back everything looks fantastic. The straight E-Body lines up as it should and is wrapped in a blue (color code B5) paint and white vinyl top (code V1W). Of course, you wont find any paint on the trim or where it shouldnt be. The Cuda was completely stripped and dissembled when it was professionally restored. There is no area on the body where a magnet wont stick. Lets continue with the clean interior of the MOPAR. First you will notice the bucket seats and the woodgrain console. The rally instrument cluster package will keep you updated when you are riding in this super nice car. And this is where the real fun begins. Turn the key and the rebuild 440ci V8 big block engine will be ready for battle. The dual exhaust will blow out a V8 symphony. Step on the gas pedal and you will be pressed in your seat like taking off in a 747 Jumbo Jet. Goose bumps are included for no extra cost. While driving down the road in this out of the ordinary muscle car you will be the king or queen of the streets. And royalty demands to arrive at their next destination with a cool head. The factory cold A/C (option H51) will make sure that you will. There are muscle cars and then there are MUSCLE CARS. This is the real deal here. This MOPAR will be found in any automobile history book and it proves that the muscle car era was on its highest peak in the late 60s, early 70s. The investment grade Plymouth Cuda is ready for a new home. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. This is a must see. Let it ride!!! Description:

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The Camaro/Mustang rivalry had begun in 1967 with the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro by General Motors. The Camaro was the largest threat to the lead Ford had in the pony car field, a market segment largely created by Ford with the introduction of the Mustang in mid-year 1964. The performance of the Mustang with 289 and 390 engines was not up to the Camaro, with its small block and big block V8. In an effort to improve the Mustangs image Ford made a 428 Cobra Jet V8 and a Ford Boss 302 engine optional for the 1968 mid-year and 1969 models, respectively. The 1969–70 Boss 302 (Hi-Po) engine was created in 1968 for the SCCAs 1969 Trans-Am road racing series. Available in the Boss 302 Mustangs of 1969–70, its a unique Ford small-block engine featuring a thin-wall, high nickel content block casting. It differed substantially from regular 302s, with 4-bolt mains, screw in freeze plugs, and heads using a canted valve design being developed for the planned 351 Cleveland (which debuted the following year). The construction was aided by the two engines sharing a cylinder head bolt pattern, though the Boss 302 heads had to have their coolant passages slightly modified. This optional engine, and indeed the entire vehicle package, including handling and aerodynamic aids, was made available for the express purpose of meeting the guidelines to compete in the SCCA Trans-Am series, which limited engine displacement to 305 C.I.D. (5.0L) in order to compete. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a unique 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. This 69 Camaro convertible is believed to be an actual RS/SS trim package, as it had all the correct parts and badging before the recently completed nut and bold restoration took place. The restorer decided to restore the car the way he would have ordered one in 1969. As you will soon learn, this one is loaded with the best of the best from 1969. To start things off, it is powered by an L-89 396. The L-89 is an aluminum head option for the L-78 396. The L-78 is the solid lifter 396 big block and the only way to make it better from the factory was to add the very rare L-89 option. This would drop roughly 75 pounds off the front end and aid in cooler operating temperatures. This engine was under rated from GM with an advertised 375 horsepower. Many sources claim true power to be well into the 400 range. Couple this power plant to a close ratio Muncie 4 speed with a 12 bolt rear end housing posi traction 3.31 gears and youve got a potent package. The 3.31:1 gears will allow for some fun around town but also allow easy cruising on the highway. Options are plentiful to say the least. Some of the more common options are here and include Power brakes, Power steering and a Power top. Some of less common options include Power windows, Tilt steering column, Rosewood steering wheel, a fold down rear seat, JL8 Four wheel disc brakes, under hood and trunk auxiliary lighting, front and rear bumper guards and spoilers, Chambered exhaust and a very rare yellow hounds tooth interior. What color would be best for a yellow hounds tooth, Daytona Yellow! What a nice combination with a black power top and SS wheels with new rubber. Other notable features are the late model IROC close ratio steering gear, Hotchkis suspension with adjustable shocks, Rally Sport and Super Sport packages and a modern AM/FM stereo system. Theres no question about the man hours or dollars put into this work of art. Almost all the sheet metal except for the firewall is new. Countless hours have been spent on bodywork and wet sanding for such a great result. The underside looks just as great as the topside and with 800 miles on the rotisserie nut and bolt restoration, its broken in but still very fresh and certainly ready for enjoyment. To view this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Convertible in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with a period correct 426 Cross-ram HEMI is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Belvedere name was first used on the new Hardtop body style on the Cranbrook line in 1951. In 19654 it replaced the Cranbrook as the top trim level and became a full model line with sedans, wagons, and convertibles all adorning the nameplate. It would go on as Plymouth’s full-sized car until 1965 when it became the intermediate until being abandoned all together after 1970. What most people will remember about the Belvedere however is it was the first production vehicle to come from the factory with the now legendary 426 HEMI. It is believed that only 35 legal street cars were produced making these cars one of the rarest MOPAR’s to ever leave the assembly line. An original Wedge car was found in AZ and hauled back to KY for its 4-year six figure build. The body of the car was straight and rust free, so minimal body work was required. Painted in the classic white paint this jewel is guaranteed to be in style long after were gone. The real deal aluminum hood is a highly sought-after piece that took quote some time to source. Under that huge hood scoop is really what we are here to talk about, the elephant in the room if you will, and I mean that literally. The engine was pieced together after many years of research from the original aluminum cross ram intake to the chrome valve covers this 426 is a real deal 12.5:1 ground pounding monster. The Carter carbs were not used as the Holley’s are considered to be a much more reliable setup and are the ones used on the 4-barrel model. With all that power to tame a bullet proof transmission was needed and just like in 64 the 833 4-speed was the go to piece. The rear-end would see the same consideration with an 8.75 rear being used but with a very respectable 3.55 being instead of the 4.56 that were found on most of these drag strip killers. The interior was the last piece of the puzzle but after 3 years the build was coming to an end. The bench seat upfront is exactly what you would you have seen in 1964 with the 4-speed shifter hugged up close and personal to the driver’s leg. It would prove to be the perfect position with your hand almost naturally falling right on to the handle you really couldn’t ask for anything better. The blue vinyl is correct and what should be in a 64 although the factory racers used van bucket seats. All in all, if you want one of the most radical production cars to ever leave Detroit this 64 Belvedere is it. Options on this 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with a Cross ram Hemi Include, Vinyl/Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Hub Caps and Radial Tires on the front with a set of Bias Ply drag slicks on the back. This 1964 Plymouth Belvedere is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is excited to offer this rare 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z10 Pace Car Coupe! First, some history of the Z10, as excerpted from Chapter 12 of The 1969 Camaro Reference Book by John R. Hooper. PACE CAR HARDTOP - THE Z10 COUPE Since 1969, the controversy over a Pace Car hardtop has existed. For many years, hobbyists and other so-called experts had different opinions on the existence of these cars. Finally, after many years the truth has come out. Yes, the Z10 Camaro does exist. It is thanks to the many Camaro clubs and enthusiasts whose efforts have brought the facts about these cars to light. The basic Z10 package has Rally Sport and Super Sport equipment, code 50-50 paint, cowl induction hood, and 396 or 350 cubic inch V8 engine. The transmission combinations from the automatic to the four-speeds were the same as the Pace Car convertibles. Most of the Z10 cars had factory air conditioning. Any option that was available for the Z11 Pace Car convertible was also available on the Z10. Different interiors used on the hardtop version consisted of 711 black standard, 712 black custom, 713 black houndstooth, 727 ivory standard, and 729 ivory houndstooth. It is rumored that interior 720 orange houndstooth could also be ordered. Some of the options used were rosewood steering wheel, tilt steering column, fold down rear seat, a factory 3-speed transmission with console on the floor, vinyl roof cover, among others. The Z10 cars were a Southwestern Regional promotional car offered to a small number of dealerships in the Southwestern Branch Zone Office during Indy race time. We know now that they were available in Texas, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Arizona, and possibly other states. We may never know exactly how many were built, however we believe it to be between 200 and 300 built at Norwood. There were no records kept at Chevrolet Motor Divisions offices. Since this was a one-time promotion, the customer did not have a chance to order the car but had to buy it off the dealers lot. The Z10s appear to have been built between 04C (third week of April) to 05A (first of May) -- possibly longer...While these cars do not compare in rarity with COPO or ZL-1 cars, they still hold a place 1969 Camaro history. Now - about the one we have: like all Z10 Camaros, it is wearing a glistening coat of Dover white, with contrasting Hugger Orange stripes. This one shows a date code of 05A, designating a build date of the 1st week of May, 1969. Under the hood is a 350 CID V8 (300HP), one of the two available engine options for the Z10. The mighty mouse is mated to a smooth shifting Muncie 4 speed manual, which sends the twist to the 12 bolt rear end. Twist the ignition key, and it fires right up into a nice rich burble, sound aided by the addition of some Hooker Competition headers that funnel the exhaust into a well-executed dual exhaust with FloMaster mufflers. Ease it into first, and mash the gas, and youll remember why you loved these cars so much! While youre cruising, flick on the A/C to keep cool - the system has been upgraded with a new R134 compressor, so its easily serviceable by any shop. When its time to get the speed down from the quickly-reached triple digit territory, the front discs are up to the task. Inside, youll see that the rich black interior looks almost new, with its synthetic leather seating and carpet virtually devoid of any signes of use. The addition of an Autogage cluster by AutoMeter helps the driver keep tabs on critical operating conditions, and the Sunpro Supertach II tach aids in hitting those shift points. Why not own one of these rare pieces of history, before theyre all gone?! Options on this rare 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z10 include A/C, AM Radio, 711 Trim Code Black Vinyl Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Rallye Wheels with beauty rings, and Seat Belts. This Full ground-up restoration was completed in 1988 Factory color combination, Bright Yellow with Black interior 1 of 338 with these paint/trim codes 47,000 original miles Correct 302/290 HP factory service block 4-speed manual transmission 3.91 Traction-Lok differential, optional axle ratio Special handling suspension Special cooling package Functional front spoiler Power front disc brakes Argent painted Magnum 500 wheels Original service records and receipts Ownership history with testimonials Produced on May 26, 1969 in Dearborn Sold new in South Carolina Listed in the first edition of the Boss 302 Registry Full Marti Report When Ford hired GM executive vice president Semon “Bunkie” Knudson in 1968, he brought with him another big-name GM talent, stylist Larry Shinoda, who had been instrumental in the design of Chevrolet’s Mako Shark concept car and the resulting Corvette Sting Ray. The first fruit of their collaboration at Ford was the 1969 Mustang, most notably the Boss 429 whose mission was to homologate the new 429/375 HP “Semi Hemi” engine for NASCAR. Close on the heels of the “Boss Nine” was the Boss 302, the purpose of which was to depose the Chevrolet Camaro (which, ironically, Shinoda had designed before leaving GM) from the SCCA Trans Am series throne it held in 1968 and 1969. The 1969 Boss 302 offered here from exemplifies the template by which the 1970 edition would secure the Trans Am title. Produced at the Dearborn Assembly Plant on May 26, 1969, it was sold new in South Carolina, one of 338 finished in Bright Yellow with a Black standard interior. The Boss 302 engine uses 10.5:1 compression, forged rotating assembly and high flow heads from the 351 Cleveland engine for a factory rating of 290 HP; the requisite Borg Warner 4-speed transmission and optional 3.91 Traction-Lok differential complete the Boss’ potent drivetrain. Special Handling Suspension, power front disc brakes and wide rubber on Argent painted Magnum 500 wheels made the Boss, in the words of Car & Driver magazine, “the best handling Ford to ever come out of Dearborn.” Fully restored in 1988 and well cared for ever since, this exemplary Boss 302 comes complete with original service records and full receipts and ownership history with testimonials. Description:

For sale in Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is this race me red 1966 Pontiac GTO. The 1966 Pontiac GTO was one of the first iconic American muscle cars and was a force to be reckoned with out on the street, giving the Fairlanes and Chevelles a run for their money. This GTO has a powerful 389 CID Tri-Deuce V8 engine rated at 325 brake horsepower stock, feeding its power through a 3-speed automatic transmission. With a new alternator, new HEI electronic ignition, less than 10K miles on the brakes and 8K miles on its tires, its set for reliability. That combination makes for a great cruiser, for sure; and, to make it better, it has power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. A set of Hurst aluminum mags give it a true classic car look, and with raised white letter BFG Radial T/A tires continuing the resto-muscle theme, its sure to turn heads while youre cruising. Moving into the interior, youll find a true custom touch in the real leather seating, with buckets up front and a bench in the rear. Separating the driver and passenger is a floor-mount shifter poking up through the factory center console, which houses a lockable storage compartment and also helps keep the passenger and driver from sliding into one another when going around corners. This car has the stock steering wheel; which, combined with the power steering in this car makes it a breeze to steer. Whether your plan is to go for a ride to the local car show or to cruise about the country side in an American classic this car fits the bill. With over 8 months alone in the body and paint, the body was sculpted out of metal and was coated in a custom pepper gray metallic paint that looks sinister from all angles. Shaved door handles keep the look sleek and freshly powder coated Forgiato 3-piece GTR wheels finish off the look well. A clear bra was placed on multiple areas of the car as well to protect it from stone chips. This car makes an amazing show car but performs just as well on the track! Awaiting to come alive under the hood sits a 5.4L V8 that came in the GT-500s originally, however this one has been equipped with a 2.3L VMP supercharger producing a dyno-proven 700+ horsepower to the rear wheels! Bigger injectors, oversized aluminum Shelby intercooler, Ford Racing single blade throttle body connected to a cold air intake, and a Diablo tune insures max efficiency and power. Keeping this Shelby hooked to the pavement is a Ford Racing performance lowering suspension and a Watts 4-link in the rear. This paired with the 11.5inch wide wheels up front and 14inch wide wheels on the rear, this Mustang handles like it is on rails! With so much power and excellent cornering abilities, the only thing left are the brakes. Taking care of this is a set of impressive Wilwood disc brakes both front and rear with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-pistons in the rear grabbing down on a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors. There are few cars out there that are as well-equipped as this Shelby GT-500 and would make an excellent car for a true driving enthusiast.
