Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer for sale this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. The Chevelle is an all-around American muscle car and loved by so many still today. The 71 model is distinguished from its earlier 70 model by the single head lights, versus the dual lights found on the 1970 Chevelle. The beauty is powered by the numbers-matching 454 CID V8 (LS5) and rips through the powerband with the 4-speed manual transmission (M22). Both the engine and transmission were rebuilt roughly 3,000 miles ago leaving the car with many years of life to go. This Chevelle also features 3.73 gears which is a happy medium for those with a heavy foot and those who desire the weekend cruise. To monitor the performance a bit closer, some Stewart Warner gauges were installed as well. With all this power, stopping is critical so to ensure you can come to a halt there are front disc brakes with drums in the rear. The interior has been nicely re-upholstered and in great shape. The black vinyl doesnt stray too far from the originality of the car and shows well. You also have the upgraded stereo system which includes AM/FM Radio, so you can rock out to some Steppenwolf when you head out on the highway. Other options include: Original build sheet, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, rally wheels, and seat belts. For more information on this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS for sale, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/1374 . 1 owner car!!! Now with only 112061 miles on her. This red T-Top beauty still turns heads anywhere she goes. The fourth-generation Camaro debuted in 1993 on an updated F-body platform. It retained the same characteristics since its introduction in 1967: a coupé body style with 2+2 seating (with an optional T-top roof) or convertible, rear-wheel drive, pushrod 6-cylinder and V8 engines. Optional equipment included all-speed traction control and a new six-speed T-56 manual transmission; the 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission was standard on the Z28, yet optional on the V6 models which came with 5-speed manual as standard. The 1997 model year included a revised interior, and the 1998 models included exterior styling changes, and a switch to GMs aluminium block LS1 used in the Corvette C5. In 1998, the 5.7 L LS1 was the first all-aluminum engine offered in a Camaro since the 1969 ZL-1 and carried a 305-horsepower rating. Chevrolet offered a 35th anniversary edition for the 2002 model year. ITS A HEMI!!! Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to be able to offer this beautiful and powerful 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 426 Hemi! This is the car you want if youre looking for comfort, style and big Hemi power. The Coronet reappeared for the 1965 model year as the intermediate sized B-body car using a 117 inch wheel base. When reintroduced in this 5th generation it was the biggest selling vehicle Dodge made that year! This is the 2-door hardtop version of the car which is one of the most desirable of the period. In 1966 Coronet received a redesign and you started to be able to get the 426 Hemi as an option. The 440 Magnum that was in the R/T produced 375hp but the 426 Hemi pushed out a whopping 425hp! An incredible powerplant that has to be driven to truly appreciate. This is a numbers matching vehicle that even has the blue stripe tires that were only available from Mopar, only available for the Hemi and only available in 1966! Super rare stuff we are talking about here. This engine and transmission were rebuilt 27,000 miles ago when the car just went over 100,000 miles. The 426 Hemi goes through the factory automatic transmission and ends up at the 3.08 limited slip rear end. The exterior is a beautiful red color which looks excellent with the white vinyl interior. Features include an AM radio, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, jack and a spare tire. Rally whiles and the blue stripe bias ply tires really set the car off nicely. Dont miss your opportunity to own this very rare and desirable piece of Mopar history. This Coronet is in our Houston showroom. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this 1932 Ford Tudor Sedan. Known far and wide, the ’32 Ford is a staple of American history. Many of these bodies have found themselves chopped, channeled, slammed with big tires out back, more oriented around looking cool, rather than performance or drivability. This build goes back to the roots of hot-rodding, but keeping the body mostly stock. Powering this throwback is a Chevy small block V8 displacing 283 cubic inches paired up with a 4-speed manual transmission. Sneak a glance out back and see the Halibrand quick-change rear axle with 3.31 rear gear. This gearing gives a great balance of highway drivability and acceleration. With a fresh repaint in 2012, this ’32 looks better than new. Step inside and find yourself greeted with one of the classiest interiors ever put in a vehicle from this era. The synthetic material not only looks incredible, but is much more durable than traditional leather, so it will keep its good looks for years to come. The Tudor Sedan is much more that just what meets the eye, as it also has a history. It used to be a gasser-styled drag racer that would regularly race at U.S. 30 Drag Strip. It its current configuration, it took home Top Twenty Pick, Select Six Pick, and Master Builder Award at the 2013 World of Wheels Chicago, among other awards. With plenty of history, devilish good looks, and a bright future ahead of it, this ’32 Ford Tudor Sedan is a beautiful piece of American history, and will likely make for a happy future. Options include: AM/FM/CD Player, Hub Caps, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Bias-Ply Tires. For more information on this vehicle, please contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1965 Superformance Cobra MKIII replica. This Superformance MKIII was built in 2003, which is why it is titled as a 2003 vehicle. Superformance is known for building some of the best Cobra replicas. This is no kit car built in someone’s garage. This is built at the Superformance factory by professionals who have experience building the same car on a regular basis. Fit and finish is top notch. The paint is a very high quality base coat clear coat, this one being painted in a beautiful Titanium silver with dual black racing stripes over a black leather interior with stainless steel side pipes and 15 Halibrand styled aluminum wheels wearing Good Year rubber. The fronts are 255/60R15s and giant 295/50R15s out back. That’s a lot of rubber, but no problem for the 408 Windsor stroker motor to melt them into smithereens! Transferring the power is just as fun as smashing the gas pedal thanks to a Tremec 3550 5-speed. The stroker 408 is making an approximate 550 horsepower and is fitted with forged 4340 rods, JE pistons, roller cam, Aluminum AFR cylinder heads, Aluminum Edelbrock Air Gap intake manifold, Demon carburetor and an MSD ignition with rev limiter. Keeping the engine cool is an oil cooler, aluminum radiator and dual electric cooling fans. Adding some flare to the already impressive engine bay is a black anodized aluminum Cobra air cleaner with matching valve covers. Slowing things down is a breeze with power 4-wheel disc brakes from Wilwood. Handling is top notch with full independent front and rear suspension with adjustable coil-overs. Inside you will find high end black leather, correct Smiths gauges with the correct reverse reading speedo. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This beautifully restored numbers matching 396 is painted in an uncommon but gorgeous Green Mist with Black SS stripes and a Black vinyl roof over a dark green vinyl interior. Power comes from the original 350 HP 396 Big Block and is mated to the original TH-400 automatic transmission and 12 bolt rear end with 3.31:1 gears with Limited Slip. Thanks to a recent frame off restoration, this one looks as good or better than when it rolled off the assembly line. The underside looks just as nice as the rest of the car and features the correct satin finish. The engine is still using the correct cast iron exhaust manifolds and continues through a pair of chambered exhaust for an unmistakable big block sound! The 3.31 rear gears are great for the highway and the low end torque makes for great fun around town. Equipment includes Power brakes, Power steering, center console with floor mounted shifter, bucket seats and an AM radio. The Magnum 500s wrapped with Firestone Wide Ovals look perfect and the original and restored suspension give the car a very correct ride height. For more information on this numbers matching 1970 Chevelle SS 396, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to list this sharp 1955 GMC Step-side Pickup truck. This Resto-Mod is titled as a GMC but does have the Chevrolet Division stamping inside the drivers door and Chevrolet Bowtie. Powering this bad to the bone Resto-Mod is a fuel injected 5.7 Liter LT-1 V8 engine and mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission. While under the hood you will also notice the tri opening air cleaner, VINTAGE A/C system, power steering and vacuum-assisted brakes, SANDERSON block-hugger headers, PAINLESS key fob operated electric exhaust cut-outs for the headers, Patriot chrome side pipe exhaust system, aluminum radiator and transmission cooler. This 2nd series 1/2 ton has had no expense spared from under the hood to paint and exterior and even inside the cab. Walking around this truck you instantly notice the stance; this is from the offset XD KMC series wheels wrapped in Nitto tries. Also, the MAX-AIR front and rear air shocks deserve some credit for the curb appeal. The red paint and chrome accents are all in fantastic shape and make this truck a show piece. Inside the rear bed is a Red-Oak and chrome bed set that flows nicely with the paint. When hopping into the cab of this truck, take notice to the SPORT-COMP speedometer and matching gauges, Pioneer AM-FM/CD/Bluetooth with custom AutoSound speakers, New black bucket seats with seat belts, custom built console with charging station, and so much more! Notable features to include would be the front disc brakes and 16-gallon fuel cell with electric fuel pump. This is one truck that doesnt disappoint. The 389 engine had revised cylinder heads with re-cored intake passages, improving breathing. Rated power increased to the Tri-Power was rated 360hp. Transmission and axle ratio choices remained the same. The restyled GTO had a new simulated hood scoop. Description:

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette. If there is a car that answers all the questions of “is it a good investment”, “is it fun and appealing”, “will it get noticed at a car show, stop light, anywhere” “is it the best American sports car”? Well here is your answer, plain and simple…a C2 Corvette. This Nassau blue vette stops you in your tracks and excites every sense of your car needs. The 327cid engine is not numbers matching, but runs like a swiss clock with the recent rebuild on the transmission. If you can’t see yourself in this car with the AC on with the clean white top up on the hot days and the top down on those perfect weather days, then you have never experienced the feeling of a corvette. This is a better than average driver and not so perfect you are afraid to pull it out of your garage. Have we said what a great Vette this is, well…it is. The second generation Corvette, which introduced Sting Ray to the model, continued with fiberglass body panels, and overall, was smaller than the first generation. The car was designed by Larry Shinoda with major inspiration from a previous concept design called the Q Corvette, which was created by Peter Brock and Chuck Pohlmann under the styling direction of Bill Mitchell. Earlier, Mitchell had sponsored a car known as the Mitchell Sting Ray in 1959 because Chevrolet no longer participated in factory racing. This vehicle had the largest impact on the styling of this generation, although it had no top and did not give away what the final version of the C2 would look like. The third inspiration was a Mako Shark Mitchell had caught while deep-sea fishing. Production started for the 1963 model year and ended in 1967. Introducing a new name, Sting Ray, the 1963 model was the first year for a Corvette coupé and it featured a distinctive tapering rear deck. The Sting Ray featured hidden headlamps, non-functional hood vents, and an independent rear suspension.[24] Corvette chief engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov never liked the split rear window because it blocked rear vision, but Mitchell thought it to be a key part of the entire design. Four-wheel disc brakes were introduced in 1965. Other options available on the C2 included the Wonderbar auto-tuning AM radio, AM-FM radio, air conditioning, a telescopic steering wheel, and headrests. The Sting Rays independent rear suspension was successfully adapted for the new-for-1965 Chevrolet Corvair, which solved the quirky handling problems of that unique rear-engine compact. Options include: AC, power steering, wipers, horn, seat belts, gauges, AM/FM, radial, clock, radial tires, rally wheels, convertible top, and turn signals. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833!
