Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this bad-to-the-bone 1985 GMC K3500 Crew Cab Pickup Truck for sale on consignment at our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. This example falls in the “Square Body styling era that spanned 18 years and has subsequently become extremely popular with classic truck enthusiasts. Clearly this K3500 goes a step further from a stock look though! It started as a low original mileage long bed and the owner decided to overhaul with work that shortened the length by 17 inches, sanded and smoothed the body to take out any imperfections and re-shot the paint in Corvette “Opulent Blue Metallic. Thats not all that upgrades the stance of this truck either- the cowl hood, powder-coated black bumpers/trim/grille and Moto Metal custom wheels look awesome. The original 454 CID big block V8 engine was pulled and rebuilt with new cams and head work, with the firewall smoothed and repainted in the process for a cleaner engine compartment. FiTech fuel injection, an Edelbrock manifold, and exhaust headers feeding dual exit pipes provide some further performance upgrades. The original transmission has been swapped out for a 700R4 4-speed unit with overdrive. The interior of this 1985 K-Series pickup features a stock look but hides some cool upgrades. Reupholstered Black cloth/vinyl bucket seats up front and additional seating for three in the back provide great utility for a pickup truck while the aftermarket digital gauges that fill the factory instrument cluster is a nice touch. Theres Vintage air conditioning installed, an aftermarket JVC stereo system and power windows (including rear window). This 4-wheel-drive, one-ton crew cab GMC is a collector, driver and a show vehicle all in one! Give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff a call today to reserve your place in this K3500 by dialing (623) 900-4884. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present a selection of gas dragsters Gassers for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This one, The Flash!, is a 1946 Ford Anglia fiberglass body on a custom frame powered by a 355 Chevrolet engine driving through a Chevrolet 350 transmission. It is a B/Gas dragster with a 9 Ford Posi rear end with a 3.83:1 ratio. Beautifully finished in a gold and red PPG metalflake exterior with a contrasting red and gold interior, it is sure to turn heads on the street or strip. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term Gasser refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. These cars typically competed in heads up drag races that were classed by engine size and car weight. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look. These cars became fan favorites as the well-known racers began to run grudge matches for higher purses. In no time these matches were the top billing at many shows due to the crowd entertainment factor. Gassers were the top drag racing classes in the period that is now referred to as the gasser war years, which ranged from 1955 through 1968.In addition to the straight axle, most gassers also sported Halibrand wheels, no front bumper, and had a front mounted Moon tank. The gasser form was dictated by function and most builders looked to eliminate as much weight as possible. Having their exhaust pipes exit through the front fender to shorten the length of exhaust tubing is another common characteristic of gassers. Builders used 1930s through 1950s production coupes or sedans to create these highly modified racing vehicles. The most common base vehicles were Willys coupes, Austin and Anglia sedans, and the Chevy Tri-Five cars. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. To view The Flash!, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

This 1940 Lasalle convertible series 50 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Lasalle was an American brand of luxury automobiles marketed by Cadillac from 1927 through 1940. It was intended to be something between a basic Chevy and a top end Cadillac. Towards the end of the run of 1940 the Lasalle was more like a Cadillac than ever. The convertible much like this one was their crowning jewel and people loved it. The styling was classic prewar with its fat fenders. The blue on this car really sits apart with the chrome being in good condition for being restored back in 1983. The owner really didnt drive it much after that only about 600 miles. The car was taken all the down and built back up from bare. The original 3446 engine is still intact and runs extremely smooth. With the interior of the car being in the same condition this old school drop top is ready for some great fall cruising. The tired are wide white walls and exactly what u would expect on such a car. It does come with an original 1940s service manual which will come on handy when doing the routine maintenance. Options on this 1940 Lasalle include, Vinyl Interior, Am Radio, Hub caps and wide white wall bias ply tires. To view this 1940 Lasalle for sale in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this beautiful Hugger Orange Pearl 1966 Chevrolet C10 for sale Las Vegas Showroom. The 66 was the last of the first-generation Chevrolet pickup. Most people see these as good ol farm trucks being they were strong, dependable and enjoyable to drive. Im sure this particular 66 will never see the farm again after undergoing a complete full body off, nut and bolt restoration. Pop open the hood and see a beautiful 383 C.I.D. Stroker V8 with aluminum heads, Edelbrock performer intake and Holley carb giving this powerplant a dyno tested 400HP. The engine is paired to a GM T350 automatic transmission with a B&M; shifter. This build was done right with the addition of power steering, power brakes, A/C. The addition of drop spindles and springs along with 4-wheel disc brakes makes this truck ready to hit the road and will certainly turn some heads with the brilliant hugger orange pearl paint job. The interior has been nicely done to match the orange paint with a color matching orange & white seat, custom AutoMeter gauges and AM/FM Bluetooth radio this truck really puts you back in the 60s with an awesome custom appearance and modern ride. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Ford Mustang S code. After such a successful launch many were surprised that only after 2 years ford would do its first major redesign of the car that turned the auto world upside down. It would be longer and wider, but the wheel base would remain the same. The biggest news yet was the addition of the 390 to the already huge engine line up. This would be the first big block to go into a Mustang making these S code ponies’ highly desirable. This beauty has gone through a frame off restoration and looks as good as any on the market. The blue paint is slick and shows extremely well. The white racing stripes show this car means business and gives the car that classic pony car look. Those magnum 500 wheels look great on the car and were the right choice for this build. The GT package was a hot option for these cars with over 24000 opting for the sportier look and of course the dual exhaust. Under the hood is the 390 320 HP engine that made these cars so popular. This beauty ahs the rare option of AC, something not commonly found on these 390 cars as they were more intended for the enthusiast than your every day driver. Backed by the C6 transmission this big block pony car is as simple as dropping it in drive and hitting the gas. Inside you will see a nicely done interior that is period correct and looks like it came right out of 1967. The black buckets upfront have the center console coming in between them and reminding you what a true pony car should be. Housing the automatic shifter this car can be driven with ease and confidence by anyone who wishes to do so. The pony car market seems to be on fire again with these true big block cars finally bringing the money they have always deserved. If you are looking for great car with big block power and a lot of the options that make driving these cars a pleasure no matter what the weather is then 67 S code coupe is the car for you. Options on this 1967 Ford Mustang S code include, AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Magnum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is very, very excited to offer for sale a 1968 Plymouth GTX! For 1968, the hot new Road Runner was anchoring Plymouths muscle car rungs, a familiar name returned to top off Plymouths midsize muscle car ladder. For its second season in 1968, the Plymouth GTX moved to the same redesigned Belvedere platform used by the Road Runner. While even a loaded Road Runner looked pretty plain on the outside, the GTX dressed its part with standard chrome wheel-lip moldings, tail-panel brightwork, and double side stripes. And where the Road Runner started with a fleet-grade interior, the GTX came with the well-appointed Sport Satellite cabin featuring shiny details and fake woodgrain. Instead of adopting the 383-cid V-8 as its base engine, the 1968 Plymouth GTX carried over its 67 powertrains. The 375-bhp Magnum 440-cid four-barrel was standard. TorqueFlite automatic, a $206 extra on the Road Runner, was standard on the GTX, and the four-speed manual was a no-cost alternative. Both cars had similar suspension upgrades and wide-oval rubber; front disc brakes and a limited-slip diff were shared options. As a performance car, the GTX has few equals, concluded Car Life. With the 440 engine, it offers as much performance-per-dollar as anything on the market, and more than most. The 440, which wasnt offered on the Road Runner, was easier to keep in tune. And unlike the rev-hungry Hemi, the big wedge churned out a surplus of low-end torque for unparalleled response on the street. Our beautiful Matador Red GTX with black interior is a stunner, indeed! Originally ordered a radio delete car, the only tune you need is the one produced by a warmed-up 440 V-8, balanced and bored 60 over! Plus, the rebuilt automatic transmission dutifully spins the driveline to deliver torque to the Sure Grip, 8 ¾ rear end with factory 3.23 gear ratio. So, If you are brave enough to stomp down on the loud pedal on this GTX, make sure the road ahead, far ahead, is clear. Other than awesome motor, awesome body, awesome interior, awesome everything else, there is not a too much to say about this Mopar. It is a 1968 Plymouth GTX with a 440 motor! Thats enough for most. We rarely get the opportunity to offer-up a late 60s Mopar to make someones dream a reality. We have one now, but a buyer will be calling soon to claim this beautiful GTX. Why not you? Call Russ or Brad in Kansas City at Gateway Classic Cars. Our number is (913) 815-1340. You can reach us Monday thru Saturday, 9 a.m. thru 5 p.m. cst. Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City, 1202 South lone Elm Road, Olathe, KS 66061.
