Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is very excited to offer this 1965 Volkswagen Walkthrough 21 Window Bus Tribute. We use the term build quite often in this business. Frankly,it is over used. This bus is a true build. Passionately put together by a true automobile enthusiast who spared no expense when designing this Dream Bus. The goal was to create a show winning transporter. Completed in early 2018 the bus has won first place awards in both shows entered. The prestigious Lakeland VW Classic in March of 2018 and the New York City Volkswagen Governor’s Island Traffic Jam Show. He started with a 11 window German made Walkthrough bus. This is important because buses that were made in other countries often used inferior parts. The exterior is finished in Porsche Meissen Blue and Volkswagen Pearl white. It features custom Porsche 356 rockers and Bumper trim along with Euro style Clear turn signal lenses with yellow bulbs. Those are European Bumpers by the way. There are also two complete sets of wheels one with white walls and the black wall tires that are on the bus currently. The owner tells me that they are more at home on the highway than the whitewalls but that the whitewalls look too good on the bus to pass them up. Adding to the coolness of this bus the vehicle was lowered two inches. Other suspension mods include adjustable Koni shocks, a custom sway bar, front disc brakes and a rebuilt steering box. Everything is concourse quality. The engine is a GEX Custom 1915cc and the Rancho Freeway Flyer 3:88 transmission are both brand new. The motor is equipped with a deep sump oil pan and an auxiliary oil cooler and fan. A custom exhaust system delivers a perfect air cooled sound. The interior features custom upholstery using period correct vinyl and German cloth. Custom Porsche 356 German Square Weave carpet was used throughout along with Dynamat sound proofing as well. The bus has a 12 volt electrical system with an Optima yellow top dry cell battery. The sound system features a Retro Sound Radio with Bluetooth. The engine firewall upholstery is custom Diamond Stitched. The dash has been custom painted also in Porsche Meissen Blue and houses a complete set of custom gauges. Including Temperature and oil pressure. It also has a Deluxe original VW clock and a power outlet under the middle seat. Check out the basket cup holder. The best interior option by far is the 8000 BTU air conditioning unit that is located under the rear seat and is powered by a Honda 2200i Inverter generator that is custom installed. Seat belts were also added as they were not standard in 1965. The front windows are safari type and the side are Pop Outs. All the windows are custom tinted. Check out the size of the sunroof, Let The Sun Shine In! In the rear cargo area there are Porsche 356 luggage brackets, leather straps and even a piece of vintage Luggage. The bus is also equipped with a Blaze Cut fire suppression system. There have been approximately 3300 miles put on the bus since its completion with all maintenance and tuning done by Dougherty’s Automotive. They are Porsche experts located in West Chester, Pa. To view this 1965 Volkswagen Walkthrough 21 Window Bus Tribute in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

Now available in our Philadelphia location is a 1957 Chevrolet Corvette with fuel injection. This car is still very much as it was when the restoration was completed less than 100 miles ago, and it offers an unbeatable combination of performance and good looks. To many, this is exactly what the mental picture of a 1957 Corvette describes: red on black, fuel injection, 4-speed and ready to go to a new home. The ’57 Corvette was the last of the single-headlight series. They featured many new performance options including 245- and 270-hp V8s with single or dual 4-bbl carbs; and the injected 250-hp and 283-hp engines. This one has the 283 CI 283 HP V8. GM built 6,339 1957 Corvettes. 713 cars were ordered with RPO 579B (11% of the cars built), which was the option code for the 283/283, a high-lift cam and Rochester fuel injection, like our car. Wearing a set of bias ply tires just like it did in 1957 this car goes down the road just like it did in 1957. This is one of the first cars that Detroit produced that was delivering a horse power per inch. The fulie Corvettes are legendary with enthusiasts and are sure to be the focus of attention at any show. To view this 1957 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this iconic Mercedes Benz 190SL. Known as the “little brother” to the 300SL, the 190SL shared many styling cues, engineering, and suspension designs. With that said, this Benz was a very impressive car upon its debut. The prototype 190SL was first unveiled at the 1954 New York Auto Show and put into production the following year. This sleek classic is easily recognizable from a distance. Back in the showroom after over 50 years, this SL is even more desirable than it was when it first came out, and an even better investment. These cars are only going to appreciate in years to come. Whether you want a gorgeous garage queen, a safe investment, or a Sunday roadster to drive with the top down, this car can be all three. The wide white wall tires accent the cream exterior and tan interior superbly. The seats are very comfortable and the interior is in fantastic shape. The paint shows very well and looks excellent. This driver quality car is one that should be shown off to others and enjoyed. Drop the top and take it anywhere you can think of, because you will be making excuses to take this out of the garage! Don’t miss this chance to make a solid investment in this classic roadster! To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this Mercedes Benz 190SL, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this very unique 1940 Ford Super Deluxe Flower Car once again. If youre scratching your head thinking Ive never seen one of those before! Its probably because you most likely have not. This 1940 Ford Deluxe was produced by the Ford Motor Company and then converted by The Eureka Manufacturing Company of Rock Falls Illinois into a flower car. Essentially starting out as a 5-window coupe, the conversion lengthened the chassis and the convertible rear casket compartment was created with metal rollers and pins to store the side rails that would hold flowers in place. This car had a dual use of being enclosed with the original canvas cover for the less elaborate funerals and having the rear compartment cover removed and side rails installed for a more elaborate send off. Flower cars were popular during the middle of the century and now are rarely seen in modern funerals. While most if not all of these conversions done by Eureka were on General Motors vehicles this one being a Ford and not a Packard or Cadillac makes this highly obscure and is believed to be the only one ever made. This car was purchased new in 1940 and check out the original photos of the car being delivered. Now fast forward to now and you will notice that not much has really changed. This is an original, unmolested, unrestored car that still retains the original paint, original canvas cover, original interior and powertrain. Now is your chance to own something that nobody else has and enter the world of Professional Car Collectors. Surely this will be the only one at whatever show you attend and thanks to years of maintenance and recent service work performed this car is ready for the road and will cruise at highway speeds. New parts include brake shoes, wheel and master cylinders, brake hoses, rear axle seals, new points set, fuel tank, fuel pump and carburetor overhaul. Located in our Chicago showroom, this 1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call (708) 444-4488 or email chicago@gatewayclassiccars.com. See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/CHI/1406/1940-Ford-Deluxe-Flower-Car

Description:

This 1987 Porsche 911/930 Turbo is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. When Porsche introduced the 911 Turbo in 1975, they had essentially created a homologation special that was meant to sell 400 copies in a 24-month period. After they sold five times as many in that two years, they turned the project over to their marketing department, who took the 917/30 CAN-AM 3.0L and applied the technology to the Carrera RS 3.0. Porsche called it the 930 and almost immediately, it became the meanest car on the street. With blistering performance but also a comfort level not often associated with two-door cars, the 930 was a 911 on steroids, equally at home on the track as it is blasting through the Swiss Alps. As the first generation of the now storied 911 Turbo series continues to increase in value, the car remains highly collectible among air-cooled Porsche enthusiasts! This beauty has lived a very pampered life with 48818 miles original miles on this red rocket leaves it wide open for the serious collector or the one who wants to drive it. The black leather interior is in impressive condition with the seat showing no signs of wear. The 4 speed transmission shifts through all the gears nicely making this car an absolute blast to drive. The clean CARFAX shows no accidents and verifies the actual mileage of the car. All the gauges are intact and working as they should with the boost gauge being the one I would keep my eye on. If you have been looking at getting into one of these 930’s you may want to jump on this red beauty before someone grabs it and sticks it a private collection for their eyes only. Options on this 1987 Porsche 911/930 Turbo include, Factory Sport Seats, Limited Slip Differential, Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio with Cassette, Power Seats, Power Sunroof, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, leather interior, and Radial Tires wrapped on Aluminum Wheels. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. For more details on this 1987 Porsche 911, please call our Louisville Showroom at 812-294-1555, or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 2010 Ferrari California. The California is a car filled with firsts for Ferrari: the first front-engine V-8, the first use of direct injection, the first seven-speed transmission, the first true launch-control system, the first retractable hardtop, and the first stacked exhaust. The direct injection helps improve mileage and decrease emissions but because the California is heavier than the F430 it shares its engine architecture with, the tuning is optimized to boost torque by 14 lb-ft at the expense of 29 horsepower, for a total of 454 hp and 357 lb-ft. All this power is sent through a Getrag dual-clutch paddle shifted seven speed transmission for smooth acceleration and lightening fast gear changes allowing this Italian grand touring car to sprint to 60mph in just 3.5 seconds and running a ¼ mile in just under 12 seconds at 117mph. This cars ceramic brakes have been fined tuned compared to the other Ferrari’s you’ll fined on the road so they are much more user friendly yet still responsive stopping this car at 60mph in just 100 feet. The California features an all new Chassis to help keep this hard top convertible rigid and agile in the corners. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this rare 1970 V-code Dodge Charger R/T. You may be asking why its rare, and the answer is simple. Per the owner this is an all numbers matching V-code with the VIN number XS29V0G203688. This car even has the original broadcast sheet as well which simply adds more provenance to this rare beauty. With a very limited number of these V-codes produced, this would make a great addition to someones collection. This car was restored recently in 2019 and shows well. This beautiful Charger is powered by none other than its original 440 CID V8 with its Six-Pack carb setup. This powerhouse is paired up to the original enjoyable 4-speed manual transmission. Putting the power to the ground is a Dana 60 rear end. Remaining in nearly completely original styling, if youre one that loves the rawness of classic American muscle then this is the car you need. This beautiful V Code even has the original Radiator support, and trunk stamping. Repainted in 2019 back to the original Light Gold which is a Dupont paint this car looks as it was from the factory. The light gold is not a color you see every day, so it truly stands out in a crowd. The white vinyl top is also an eye-catching feature that is in great shape as well. The interior also keeps the factory look to a point that some would even say its a time capsule for classic cars. The black interior remains in very good condition and quite comfortable to sit in as well. From the wood-grained dash board, to the pistol grip shifter, they simply dont make cars like this anymore. Description:

Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is this beastly 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible PRO-MOD! Beastly for this car is NO UNDERSTATEMENT as looking through the photos and watching the video, will show exactly why. If you’re not a fan of photos, and video simply continue reading. This “body-off” pro-mod is powered by a Kenne Bell supercharged Turn Key LS3 said to put out over 1,000HP. The heads are Dart PR01’s and makes this car a true monster for the road. This car flies through the powerband with the Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. The power is put to the ground through the 12-bolt Detroit Speed rear end. With this much power the key is to keep it cool, so the car is fitted with a Be Cool dual core radiator. This car gets plenty of traction through the massive rear tires that are Michelin Pilot Sport 335/30 ZR20 which some tubbing mods had to be made for a nice fit. The front tires are also Michelin Pilot Sport but sized at 255/35 ZR19. The COR Forged wheels look great on this beauty and are on great condition. The drilled and slotted disk brakes are fitted with a nice set of yellow accented BAER 6P calipers and provides more than enough stopping power. The brakes get their stopping power from the very nice HydraTech brake booster. If the overall appearance simply isn’t enough to turn someone’s head, the Hooker headers attached to the Magna-Flow dual exhaust system is surely going to make people start rubber-necking. The car also features adjustable coil-over shocks to provide a smooth ride, not that it matters when your ripping through the powerband. The exterior of the car is a clean black and is in good condition. All the body lines on this car are almost perfectly straight and shows how well this car was restored and how much attention to detail was applied. If you’re a fan of American Muscle this car is worth seeing in person. Moving inward would will see a fully custom interior. The custom stitched dash and door panels are in great condition and match the Recaro seats very well. The car features a very comfortable MOMO steering wheel, along with a set of Carbon Fiber Ultra-Lite gauges to make you aware of everything going on. This car is absolutely a beauty both inside and out and needs a new owner to let it scream down the pavement again. Description:

For sale in our Denver showroom is a numbers matching 1966 Corvette 427 - 425 HP V8 original motor, convertible. This description really doesnt need much more! Coated in Silver Pearl, paired with black leather seats, this Corvette is sure to turn heads. Only 215 miles are on it since restoration. For 1966, Chevrolet introduced an even larger 427 cu in Big Block version. Other options available on the C2 included the Wonderbar auto-tuning AM radio, AM-FM radio (mid-1963), air conditioning (late-1963), a telescopic steering wheel (1965), and headrests (1966). The Sting Rays independent rear suspension was successfully adapted for the new-for-1965 Chevrolet Corvair, which solved the quirky handling problems of that unique rear-engine compact. The classic offers a M-20 4-spd manual transmission, also numbers matching. The rear-end is a posi-traction 3.55:1 gear. Options include: AM/FM radio, manual convertible top, hub caps, power brakes, seat belts, and leather interior. While each classic car offers its own piece of history, this Corvette comes with documentation showing each owner throughout the years! For example, in December of 1965 the car was assembled and shipped to Martin Chevrolet in Warren, Ohio. In 1966 the car was purchased by a 72-year-old gentleman who resided in Warren and passed just 2 years later. After that, the Corvette found a new master in Howland, Ohio who worked as a shop teacher. The list continues. In 2010 this classic earned a NCRS Top Flight Award at a Western Regional meet. Then in 2015, it won a NCRS Top Flight Award at the National Convention in Denver, CO. Needless to say, this car is very well put together. If you are looking for a great investment that you can also enjoy on the weekends, this is a great find. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is thrilled to welcome this amazing 1993 Porsche 911 RS America to our showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! Made exclusively for North American markets, this car was made to recapture the magic of the original 1973 Carrera RS. In fact, Fred Schwab, then President and CEO of Porsche North America stated, “If you like to autocross, this is your car. If you are a time-trialer, you need this car. If driving is for fun, this is your car - the car that the Porsche Club of America built.” If you’re a Porsche enthusiast, you might be thrilled to learn that this vehicle, 1 of 701, even has a copy of the Certificate of Authenticity signed by Schwab! Indeed, this Porsche truly embodies the spirit of adventure and performance through its sporty suspension and power plant to boot! This bold beauty wears a shimmering black paint (A1A1 code) that shines in the light and conveys attitude and style wherever you go. A matching black cloth interior, equipped with red seat belts, justly completes the vehicle and provides superior comfort needed when handling the corners or accelerating down the straightaway. Keep cool with factory Air Conditioning and tunes from an AM/FM Radio and CD player! Powered by the original 3.6L, six-cylinder engine, rated at 247 horsepower, this vehicle tears down the street so smoothly thanks to Cup 1 wheels and a PSS 9 suspension upgrade. The brakes have not been left out of the equation on this Porsche. The car wears 993 fronts with larger rears and boasts superb stopping ability. This is one Porsche you do not want to miss! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is proud to digitally showcase this incredible 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This Big block Corvette for sale looks a bit evil in all black. The exterior is a high gloss black that look like it is still wet. Open the door and the chrome shifter is prominent between the two black vinyl bucket seats. Now the only way to complete this combination is with a black soft top and the cherry on top is the optional black hardtop. If you think this sound like a bad boy, peel back the hood and the wide valve covers that are the trademark of a Chevy big block will send a shiver up your spine as you imagine the tire frying burn outs that this 396CID V8 and 4 speed manual transmission are very capable of. But we all know that the C 2 is also a capable car in the corners as well, with the signature independent rear suspension this big block C2 for sale is more than just a great looking car. Sporting 4 wheel disc brakes, knock off rims (and I dont be counterfeit) and side pipes this 65 Vette for sale is too cool for school. Now personally, I have a love affair with big block Chevys, but whats not to love about an engine that straight from the factory produces enough torque to snap your neck but with a little money and some twisting of wrenches, make tons more? Options for this 1965 Corvette includes: AM/FM radio, Manual convertible top, Removable hardtop, Seats belts, Vinyl Interior, Posi traction and radial tires with raised white letters. This beauty can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this rare and extremely clean 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo. Wrapped in Black over Black Leather, this is one car that cannot be mistaken for any other. There was a time where automakers stuck to what made them unique and gave them their reputation and this specific Porsche was exactly that. This 911 Turbo has only a little over 47k Original Miles! The 911 Turbo air-cooled flat-six was basically the same as one that tantalized us so much back in 1979. The turbocharged and inter-cooled power plant still displaces 3.3 liters, and such details as to its bore, stroke, and compression ratio remained as well. Whats the difference you ask? Twenty-nine more horses, fatter tires, and years of chassis development could only make things better. This Porsche sports its original turbocharged and inter-cooled flat-6, aluminum block and heads. The engine displacement is 201 cubic inches or 3299cc that pumps out an impressive 282 hp @ 5500 rpm and torque comes in at 278 lb.-ft @ 4000 rpm. This car will really get up and go. This Porsche is definitely worth collecting and the market has proven such. If you are looking for a stunning collector that has left its footprint in automotive history, this is the one you want to own. This 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
