Description:

For Sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Stunning 1970 Dodge Super bee! The origin of the name, Super Bee, has its basis in the B Body designation pertinent to Chryslers mid-sized cars, including the Road Runner and Charger. In addition to minor external differences, such as larger rear wheel openings, the bumblebee tailstripe and fancier grille, and the taillight ornamentation, the Super Bee also used actual diecast chrome-plated Bee medallions. These three-dimensional medallions were prominently mounted in a raised position in the grille/hood area and the trunklid/taillight area of the car throughout the first three years of production. If you want a car that stands apart from the competition this is the car to have. Under the hood of this beast sits the notorious 426 HEMI and is backed by an outstanding 727 automatic transmission. Planting the power down to the pavement is a 8 ¾ rear end with 3.55 gears and posi traction. This Bee is painted red and paired with a black vinyl top and black stripes on the side. The interior is black with vinyl bucket seats up front and custom floor mats. This HEMI is calling your name so hurry up and make it yours. This 1970 Dodge Super Bee is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD Pictures and an HD video at gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this awesome red 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. The inspiration for this car came, as one might expect, from the nasty, blown 1957 Chevy from the movie Hollywood Knights. However, in this case, this is a true Bel Air (not a 210), its red (not yellow), its fuel-injected (not carbureted), and, and...well, its the spirit that counts - this 57 Bel Air is a much better car in every respect than the Hollywood Knights legend. The monster rat motor in this car started at Specialty Machine of Burlison, Tennessee, which bored the block 0.060 over, and turned it over to a master engine builder in Tennessee, who assembled it. An OE steel crank with Clevite bearings spins its stock rods (with 8.5:1 TRW pistons) in the mighty 468 CID mill. A custom grind COMP Cams bumpstick handles pushing the OE valvetrain in its stock heads, which combine to provide tons of power, yet still stay away from the ragged edge of streetability. The massive, polished GMC 6-71 blower, which was provided by Littlefield Blowers of Anaheim, sits atop a polished BDS intake manifold. A programmable BDS EFI system helps provide an excellent combination of power and fuel economy good enough to drive to all the car shows youll want to be present for. A huge aluminum radiator with twin electric fans helps keep the big powerplant running in the cool zone, and a built GM TH400 3-speed automatic transfers all that power out to a GM 10-bolt rear end with a limited slip differential. Doug Thorley headers scavenge the spent combustible mixture into a dual exhaust setup with two-chamber Flowmaster mufflers. Turndowns at the end of the mufflers ensure that theres plenty of noise out back. For just the right stance, the front was lowered 2.5 inches, and features tubular upper and lower control arms. Four-wheel disc brakes help bring this beast to a stop quickly when you need it. This street machine features a BFGoodrich G-Force Supersport radials at all four corners, wrapped around vintage-styled American Racing aluminum 5-spoke wheels, which are 15-inchers up front and 17-inch units in the rear. Every bit of the body the body was completely sanded and prepped properly before receiving the PPG Torch Red basecoat/clearcoat finish, and it shows. Attention to detail was paramount in the build on this car, from the embossed flames in the black-leather door panels, to the custom two-tone leather seating surfaces with their carbon-fiber look inserts. Lots of aluminum trim, including billet window cranks and door handles, and a billet aluminum steering wheel, add up to a look thats both retro and modern at the same time. Modern vintage style ana-digi gauges help finish the look, and keep the driver informed of critical operating functions. Another tasteful upgrade is the modern AM/FM/CD Radio head unit, and the custom speakers in the kick-panels and the rear deck: if you ever tire of the amazing blower whine, you can always turn on the tunes and listen to a different type of symphonic enjoyment. Additional features and options on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air for sale include AM/FM/CD Radio, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Wheel. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this rugged 1988 AM General M998. More commonly referred to as a HMMWV, aka Humvee. Before we go any further, PLEASE NOTE: this truck was procured through Iron Planet and is to be sold ONLY to buyers who are U.S. Citizens, and it is NOT for export. This vehicle was built to take a beating and withstand some of the toughest environments. This all-terrain beast is powered by a 6.5L diesel thats backed by a 3L80 3-speed automatic transmission, with about 4000 miles on the drive-train since the engine and transmission were rebuilt during its complete restoration in 2006 by the Maine Military Authority. During the 2006 restoration, the estimated cost of all of the work was around $40K: the engine and transmission were completely rebuilt, all seals were replaced as well as the driveshafts, and Tan CARC paint was applied. In 2018 it was stripped to bare metal, and then the body was covered in Cement Gray (color code 1H5). This truck comes with tons of extra bells and whistles, starting with OE military air conditioning (blows cold), OE military spare tire (drop-down style with ratchets), LED light bar in the cabin, OE military airlift rear bumper (so your buddy can pick you up in his military surplus CH-47 Chinook helicopter if you get out where you cant figure out how to drive back), OE (military) 60-inch deep fording kit, OE military winch, LED headlights and fog lights up front, LED side marker lights, OE military radio shelf, 2 OE military whip antennas with matching spring bases, OE military hard doors with soft armor upgrade (and they also have locks), new OEM soft top, new half-shafts, and all differential fluids have been recently replaced. It also has some non-OE options that most dont see on these trucks: 4 new vinyl seats, Sony AM/FM/Bluetooth radio, waterproof tower speakers, Cerwin-Vega subwoofer, 4 aviation headsets with mic and intercom system (youll find it makes it much easier to speak with each other in the cab - those big tires help add to the noise these trucks make; plus, you can listen to the sound systems music with them). It also has a CB Radio with an engine bay-mounted PA speaker, keyed ignition (not just pushbutton start), rear backup camera (youll be glad you have it), LED overhead exterior light bar, and a lockable rear center console. This truck can take you wherever you need to go with its prodigious territory-conquering ability. The almost brand-new NITTO 37X13.50R18LT Ridge Grappler radial tires have only about 1500 miles on them, and theyre wrapped around a giant set of aluminum Fuel wheels, which really provides a nice aggressive look. When you buy this HMMWV, youll be the owner of one of the nicest HMMWVs outside of Schwarzeneggers garage. M998s in this condition, with the kind of upgrades this one is equipped with, are extremely few and far between; so dont let it slip away! For more information on this 1988 AM General M998 for sale, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/1664 . This Oldsmobile is a genuine 442 with added features to reproduce an awesome W-30 “clone package. The 4-4-2 muscle car was produced by Oldsmobile from 1964-1987 by General Motors Corporation. From 1968-1971 the Oldsmobile 442 became its own model spawning the Hurst/ Oldsmobile in 1968. By 1968 the 4-4-2 badging simply became the 442. Our 1970 Oldsmobile 442 is an exceptional second- generation masterpiece. Including a W-30 “clone package including an original Ram Air fiberglass hood, Ram air intake hoses, dual snorkel black air cleaner, badging and bright red plastic fender wells. Under the hood is a 455 Ram Air V-8 engine attached to a new Summit Racing supplied four-speed manual transmission. All hooked up to a 343 Posi rear end. This 1970 442 is painted in Burnished Gold (color code #58) with a black vinyl interior. All accented by a factory correct black graphic stripe package with a matching black vinyl top. Description:

The Houston showroom of Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this beautiful & very original 1974 Pontiac Trans Am. This is a two owner car - the original owner had it for 43 years, and sold it to its current owner. This car is 100% original including all numbers matching, all original body panels, all original glass, & the original wheels & tires. This car is fully documented with original bill of sale, original custom factory order RPO build sheet, original paint, all original customer ordered interior, original spare tire with jack, & with only 19950 original miles. This car is in great condition from bumper to bumper. One doesnt find cars this original and in this condition every day. This sweet TA is outfitting with the true Pontiac 400 CID 4-barrel carburetor V8 from the factory. The well balanced & healthy V8 is strong throughout the power band. The engine bay is very clean and shows very little signs of wear on even the smallest of components. All of the wiring is very healthy and in excellent condition so electrical issues would not be a bother on this one. The (WX3) custom ordered shaker hood air cleaner is on firmly with all weather stripping in great shape. The barely broken in 400 is paired to a (M20) Muncie 4-speed manual transmission that shifts firmly but smoothly through each gear shifting both up & down through the gears. The transmission is linked to the Posi-trac rear end that contains the custom ordered super duty 3.42 gear set in the rear differential. It also features the upgraded custom factory ordered (V01) heavy duty radiator to keep the car cool in all driving conditions. The exterior condition of the car is in excellent condition. The longtime owner has kept the car indoors in his private underground car basement the entire life of the car. It is rumored rain has never met this car. The beautiful Buccaneer Red paint is just as good as it was in 74. Free from any dings, dents, scratches, or abrasions. The owner tells us that the color of the car deepens as the afternoon sunlight sets in. The bumpers, trim, emblems, light lenses, grill, spoilers, air ducts, & the original glass is in excellent condition. The underside of the front bumper does not even contain any scratches from being bottomed out like almost all long nose cars. It even has the custom factory ordered (75A) orange decal on the hood. It features the SD-455 decal on the hood as well, but that is just to keep them guessing :) Stepping down to sit in the car you will first notice the custom ordered (D55) factory red interior that looks like it was just installed yesterday. It really pulls the looks of this car together. It features the factory ordered (U63) upgraded P/B radio with (U57) 8-track player that only a few select TAs received. Every piece of the interior is in excellent shape from the fire red carpet, custom ordered console & dash, to the black vinyl seats, this one is the one to have. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1941 Ford Pickup Truck Rat Rod! This style is loved by all and always draws a crowd. There are few things more fun than this beautiful machine. This 1941 Ford Pickup Truck Rat Rod is the polar opposite of all show and no go. Some engines are built for looks, but every shiny square inch of this engine is purpose built. We all love the style of the body on this 1941 Ford Pickup Truck Rat Rod, but everyone wants to know what the engine is all about. The crate engine started life as a 350 cubic inch small block, and was built to a blown 383 stroker putting out 715 horsepower! The crate engine in this 1941 Ford Pickup Truck Rat Rod was built by Big Als Toy box two years ago and has roughly 500 miles on it. The transmission is a built TH400 capable of handling all the power coming from the monster motor upfront and has roughly 50 miles on it. Spool up the blower, and send that power down the driveshaft to the 4.11 posi-traction rear end and you have the most fun ride in the world stoplight to stoplight. You WILL be seen and photographed extensively in this ride. Going to car shows is almost as much fun as driving it. Park next to cars with $20,000 paint jobs and watch them flock to your new 1941 Ford Pickup Truck Rat Rod. The vertical stacks add to the looks big time, and better yet they are functional! Open up the cutouts just before the firewall and feel the thunder from the engine. Close the cutouts and send the exhaust through those stacks with glass packs to mellow out the thunder, and hear that supercharger whine. There are many more details than can be photographed or explained in words. Please do not be the last one to inquire on this once in a lifetime Rat Rod. 1941 Ford Pickup Truck Rat Rod is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this beautifully-restored 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396. This 138 series Chevelle SS has a 396 CID V8 and 2-speed Powerglide automatic. Built to L35 specs (396CID/325HP), the big 396 sends its twist out back to a limited-slip (Posi-trac) GM 12-bolt rear end with 3.73:1 gears, which is an excellent ratio for both acceleration and cruising with the Glide tranny. This 1966 Chevelle SS for sale has excellent low-end torque for getting away at those stop lights, and plenty of power for passing most mere excuses for cars. Cast iron exhaust manifolds funnel the spent gases into the 2.5 dual exhaust and help provide a nice muscle sound, albeit more subtly than if it had headers. Everything looks factory, which is very cool indeed; and with only about 500 miles since both engine and transmission were rebuilt, this Chevelle SS has plenty of miles ahead of it! Speaking of cool, this SS 396 Chevelle has A/C, and its GM/Harrison system has been converted to use R134a refrigerant, which is a big plus for driving around when its hot outside, or when its super humid and one needs dehumidified air to keep the windows from fogging. The gorgeous Regal Red paint looks great, and is just the right color for such a well-executed vintage Chevelle. Inside, the black interior is in very good condition, with synthetic leather front buckets and rear bench having been redone to better than anything GM ever put out in 1967. The restoration has been done to a level that nearly everything looks like new, including the knee knocker tach. Additional features and options on this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS include Air Conditioning, AM radio, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Posi-Trac, Redline Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Spare Tire and Jack, and Vinyl Seating. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a real 1940 Willys Coupe. The frame is an original that has been strengthened to support the extra power coming from the alcohol fed blown 400 small block Chevy. The body is fiberglass and is in very good condition and is infused with red color vs. being painted. This is a very high dollar build that offers a lot of show and plenty of go! The build was completed in 2017 with top quality parts and was originally a show car and 7.0 index for specialty drag racing. Fit and finish is very nice and upon viewing the car in close detail, theres no question that it was a well thought out build. Power comes from a bored 383 stroker (400 cubic inch) small block Chevy that is equipped with a Scat rotating assembly, JE pistons, AFR aluminum heads, TBS 192 Supercharger, Holley 1050 Dominator and an Electric water pump. The build was completed by LRS - Tim Wilkerson Racing. This awesome power is sent through a modified Power Glide automatic transmission with a 3,800 stall and back to a custom Ford 9 inch rear with 5.13 gears with Mark Williams axles to handle the power. Slowing down is drama free thanks to 4 wheel disc brakes. Steering is very direct thanks to manual rack and pinion. The suspension is set up with adjustable coil overs, tubular upper and lower control arms. A ladder bar set up with adjustable coil overs puts the power down to the ground. Even though this bad boy is set up for drag racing, there isnt a whole lot to change in order to make this one street friendly. This is a professional, and highly skilled build that will give many a run for their money! It would be a heck of a street car! For more information on this 1940 Willys Coupe, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is very excited to offer this ready-to-roll 1955 Chevrolet 210 Post for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. The ’55 Chevy is perhaps one of the most recognizable classic cars of all time- right up there with the Mustang or the VW Beetle. The image of America in the 1950’s- a land of seemingly endless opportunity, the perfect place to raise a family and enjoy your leisure time- fueled the popularity of sedans like this 1955 Chevy. There are a lot of Tri-Five out there and many have been customized to the point where they are hard to sell. This ’55 is not one of those cars. Painted in a two tone Red and White with chrome everywhere you look, this beauty shimmers in the sunlight and will have all eyes on it as it roars down the road. And boy, that’s not an understatement to say that.. a 454 CID Big-Block Chevrolet V8 engine under the hood is not messing around at all. That’s a lot of horsepower to enjoy! The V8 is paired to a Super T10 4-speed manual transmission that was designed for high-powered muscle and sports cars and this one features a Hurst shifter too. Check out the Red and White leather interior that just screams vintage “Americana” on this high quality Tri-Five- the bucket seats are supportive and comfortable to sit in and the custom center console flows with the design flawlessly. Auto Meter gauges, Air Conditioning and an AM/FM Radio are some of the highlights of the options in this well-built Chevrolet. You haven’t driven this 1955 Chevrolet 210 Post for sale yet but I promise you- it drives like a dream! All this baby needs is a new owner and a garage space to park it in. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1965 Shelby Cobra Roadster. This is a very correct, no expense spared, burn the receipts build. Everybody knows and loves a Cobra. The history behind these is incredible, and the builds today are getting amazing. This started life as a Factory Five kit. From there very little expense was spared putting this together. The business end is a personal favorite, because it is a crate 507HP Ford Racing Boss 363. You have more horsepower than the original 427 big block, but with a lighter engine. Match that with how snug to the firewall the engine is and you have a recipe for a lot of fun. The transmission is a 5 speed Tremec TKO 600 close ratio transmission. The clutch is a Ram Ceramic HD clutch, and its all wrapped up in a quicktime explosion proof bellhousing. Out back is a ford 8.8 Cobra Carbon Fiber Track Loc Rearend spinning 3.733:1 gears. Gripping all that power is Falken road racing tires. As far as replicas go this one is very good and has a lot to be desired. Pushing those sticky tires to the road are coil over shocks. You cant help but love the car just looking at it, but sitting behind the wheel and turning that key is the next level of fun and grins. Every bit of this build is fresh and it is eagerly awaiting a new home. 1965 Shelby Cobra Roadster is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Painted in a rare “Martinique Bronze color, this 1966 GTO convertible looks extremely classy and sophisticated while maintaining as much muscle as you could desire. A 3-speed floor shifter automatic transmission does the legwork getting you to your destination with smoothness. The entire powertrain was rebuilt less than 800 miles ago! This particular 64 is still packing the original 327 CID V8 that came with it from the factory. While it may be a 55-year-old car, it still runs well with plenty of life left. To run through the powerband you get to enjoy the 4-speed manual transmission that shifts through the gears smoothly. If youre looking for originality, then this is the car for you. Painted in an Ermine White, the car still looks the part of being a true classic. To keep the car up to snuff, a new alternator and hoses were added as well. The car sits on a set of thin white wall tires that show well with the paint. The interior is in good condition and features red leather upholstery. Keeping things original this car still looks the part as if it would have come from the factory. This Vette truly takes you back in time and makes for a nice weekend cruiser. If you enjoy attending your local car show, then this would make a great addition for the weekend chatter.
