Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is happy to present this custom 2003 Jeep Wrangler into our Denver Showroom! Heres something you dont see every day, a 2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ that has been stretched and converted into a 4-door. Jeep had not produced a 4-door Wrangler until the JK generation, which came out in 2007 — so this is a pretty impressive upgrade. According to the owner, this conversion from 2-door Wrangler to a 4-door Wrangler was done in Florida. The conversion is quite nice and looks almost factory, save for the fact that the factory would likely add larger rear doors for easier entry and exit. Theres also the fact that this Wrangler has a third-row seat, which is something Jeep has still not done with the Wrangler — and that means this SUV can likely hold six or seven people. Options include: Air Conditioning, LED Lightbar, Pioneer CD/Radio, Convertible Top (Manual), Spare Tire, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Jack, Leather Interior. Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of Jeep History in our Denver Showroom. This Jeep can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this awesome red 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. The inspiration for this car came, as one might expect, from the nasty, blown 1957 Chevy from the movie Hollywood Knights. However, in this case, this is a true Bel Air (not a 210), its red (not yellow), its fuel-injected (not carbureted), and, and...well, its the spirit that counts - this 57 Bel Air is a much better car in every respect than the Hollywood Knights legend. The monster rat motor in this car started at Specialty Machine of Burlison, Tennessee, which bored the block 0.060 over, and turned it over to a master engine builder in Tennessee, who assembled it. An OE steel crank with Clevite bearings spins its stock rods (with 8.5:1 TRW pistons) in the mighty 468 CID mill. A custom grind COMP Cams bumpstick handles pushing the OE valvetrain in its stock heads, which combine to provide tons of power, yet still stay away from the ragged edge of streetability. The massive, polished GMC 6-71 blower, which was provided by Littlefield Blowers of Anaheim, sits atop a polished BDS intake manifold. A programmable BDS EFI system helps provide an excellent combination of power and fuel economy good enough to drive to all the car shows youll want to be present for. A huge aluminum radiator with twin electric fans helps keep the big powerplant running in the cool zone, and a built GM TH400 3-speed automatic transfers all that power out to a GM 10-bolt rear end with a limited slip differential. Doug Thorley headers scavenge the spent combustible mixture into a dual exhaust setup with two-chamber Flowmaster mufflers. Turndowns at the end of the mufflers ensure that theres plenty of noise out back. For just the right stance, the front was lowered 2.5 inches, and features tubular upper and lower control arms. Four-wheel disc brakes help bring this beast to a stop quickly when you need it. This street machine features a BFGoodrich G-Force Supersport radials at all four corners, wrapped around vintage-styled American Racing aluminum 5-spoke wheels, which are 15-inchers up front and 17-inch units in the rear. Every bit of the body the body was completely sanded and prepped properly before receiving the PPG Torch Red basecoat/clearcoat finish, and it shows. Attention to detail was paramount in the build on this car, from the embossed flames in the black-leather door panels, to the custom two-tone leather seating surfaces with their carbon-fiber look inserts. Lots of aluminum trim, including billet window cranks and door handles, and a billet aluminum steering wheel, add up to a look thats both retro and modern at the same time. Modern vintage style ana-digi gauges help finish the look, and keep the driver informed of critical operating functions. Another tasteful upgrade is the modern AM/FM/CD Radio head unit, and the custom speakers in the kick-panels and the rear deck: if you ever tire of the amazing blower whine, you can always turn on the tunes and listen to a different type of symphonic enjoyment. Additional features and options on this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air for sale include AM/FM/CD Radio, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Wheel. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Dallas is proud to present a Fully Frame off restored award show winning 1941 Mercury Eight 19A Convertible. Just two years after its debut, Mercury was doing its job as the bridge between the entry-level Ford and the upper crust Lincoln-Zephyr. Finished in a Striking Silver, the droptops paint and trim are in overall very good order. The Black, folding canvas top is in very good shape, bodywork is straight and solid, the engine bay is exceptionally tidy, the cargo area with the full-size spare tire is in very good order and the chrome bumpers look great. the car has a drivers side spotlight. This convertible rolls on wide whitewall tires topped with factory wheel covers. The tires and wheel covers are in overall very good order. Under the hood is Mercurys 239 CID Flathead V-8 with original running gear, Backing up this motor are a three-speed manual transmission and a 3.54:1 rear end. Inside is red seats with white trim are in overall great condition, as is the carpet and white, two-spoke steering wheel. The metal instrument panel and inner door liners are in excellent order. The factory AM radio at the top of the dash completes the interior and has been internally upgraded to AM and FM with a better speaker. The 1941 Mercury Eight got all-new styling and some engineering improvements. The Mercury now shared its bodyshell with Ford, probably to lower Mercury production costs. Mercurys wheelbase was expanded by two to 118 inches. There were many chassis refinements, including improved spring lengths, rates, and deflections, plus changes in shackling, shocks, and an improved stabilizer bar, but the old-fashioned transverse springs were still used. The new body featured door bottoms that flared out over the running boards, allowing for wider seats and interiors. The car had two inches more headroom, two-piece front fenders (three-piece at first), and more glass area. The front pillars were made slimmer and the windshield was widened, deepened, and angled more steeply. Parking lights were separate and set atop the fenders for greater visibility. Headlight bezels were redesigned. In all closed Mercurys the rear-quarter windows opened out. Front vent wings were now crank-operated, and inclosed, cars the ventilation wing support bars rolled down with the windows. The four-door convertible, offered in 1940, was gone, but a station wagon was added. The Woodie wagons body behind the engine cowl was identical to Fords and produced at the companys Iron Mountain plant in Michigans Upper Peninsula. The “Eight script was moved to the rear of the hood. 90,556 Mercury Eights were sold in the 1941 model year. Convertible competition to this Mercury in 1941 included Buicks Super Eight, Chryslers New Yorker, Dodges Custom, Oldsmobiles 98, Pontiacs Deluxe Torpedo Eight. Pre-World War II car fans, those who favor Mercurys over Ford or collectors who like something seldom seen should visit Gateway Classic Cars Dallas to review this Mercury Eight Convertible. Like the Roman god for which the marque is named, we predict this car wont linger long. VIN: 99A455079 This car is currently located at our facility in Dallas Texas, Current mileage on the odometer shows 7954 miles, which is since full frame off restoration. It is sold as-is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! 817-310-9400 Dallas@GatewayClassicCars.com

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1934 Ford 5 Window Coupe. This is an all steel Hot Rod that started being modified in the 50’s when Hot Rodding took. Most notably the top was chopped in the 50’s. Much later down the road a Ford 9-inch rear end was acquired from a 1980 Lincoln Versailles. Upgrades since then include disc brakes at all four corners, Stainless Steel Brake lines, aluminum driveshaft, AC/Heat, new radiator, chrome suspension, 33 Ford Commercial Headlights with turn signals, LED tail lights and powder coated steel wheels. Under the original steel louvered hood beats the heart of a Bow Tie in this Blue Oval ride. The engine is a 400-small block built by Blue Print Engines. Dyno indicate peak horsepower is 470.2 at 5800 rpm and peak torque it 497.1ft-lbs at 4200 rpm. The torque curve from 3000 to 5800 is very flat and doesn’t drop below 400 ft-lb until the engine reaches 6100 rpm. This kind of power will lead to absolute loads of fun or trouble, your choice. Description:

This Ford packs the punch of a modern race car with a 466 CID V8 with Twin Paxton Superchargers and methanol injection. The sonic blue and pearl white paint job, chrome accents, and large tail fins bring back memories of cruise nights and drive-in movies. All together, the engine is putting out 700 horsepower. Getting all of that power to the rear wheels is a custom-built Turbo 400, with manual valve body and gear vender overdrive. The drive train was also upgraded to handle what this beast can put out, as it’s equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes, Hydro brake booster, Ford 9” rear end with 355 gears, ladder bars, and coil over. As for the interior, it is stock with upgraded materials, so it remains true to its roots, while still feeling comfortable and modern. The tinted glass is new, which provides an aura of mystery to the outside world as to who is behind the wheel of this behemoth. Mounted in the dash are AutoMeter gauges, including a tachometer with shift light, so no one short-shifts and takes away any of the power. Making the vehicle even more user-friendly is a tilting Ididit steering column, so it can be adjusted to driver liking. All in all, this is one tough beast that is truly a sight to see. Description:

The driving force behind this 2006 Mercedes SL 65 AMG is the extremely powerful AMG 6.0-litre V-12 biturbo engine developing 612 hp and a maximum torque of 737.7 lbs-ft, making this still the most powerful production Roadster in the world. This specific car has been Renntech custome tuned! Squeezing out even more power with numbers hitting 696 HP and 840 ft. lbs. of torque. The over-sized intercooler and open race mufflers help round out the powerhouse! Impressive evidence of the phenomenal power harnessed by the AMG twelve-cylinder unit is provided by the 0-62 mph acceleration time of just under 4 seconds. This car features modified AMG sports suspension based on second-generation Active Body Control, specific measures having been implemented to reduce body movements in dynamic driving situations - to levels even lower than those achieved by the outgoing models - without impairing the excellent ride comfort. Greater agility comes courtesy of the enhanced front-axle and the speed-sensitive power steering with a more direct ratio and new valve control logic. This SL 65 AMG is equipped with newly developed AMG high-performance brakes which ensure optimum application of the brake pressure, extremely short stopping distances and outstanding resistance to fading. The front axle boasts large composite brake discs with six-piston aluminum fixed calipers. On a visual level, the new-generation AMG Roadsters are distinguishable by their discreetly updated AMG body styling, including more dynamically styled AMG front aprons with an even more pronounced wedge shape. In addition, the front apron of the Mercedes SL 65 AMG also incorporates side air outlets allowing optimal flow through the auxiliary engine-oil cooler. Further unobtrusive yet highly effective model enhancement measures include an AMG-specific radiator grille with black louvres. Every light on this car has been tinted as well as the windows to give it that sinister look. As well as keep you cool on those hot summer days. A front carbon fiber air dam keeps with the sports styling of this car but also supplies the down force at higher speeds. Not to be outdone, the interior of this AMG Roadsters also sports an even more dynamic and premium-quality look. New genuine carbon-fiber trim elements add just the right degree of sportiness and reflect AMG’s successful involvement in the world of motorsport. The AMG ergonomic sports steering wheel with its specially moulded rim is now fitted with silver-coloured aluminium AMG shift paddles. Further features include the AMG main menu on the instrument cluster, which displays the currently engaged gear and recommended upshifts plus either the engine oil temperature, the battery voltage or the RACETIMER. The new RACETIMER function allows the driver to record lap times on private racing circuits, storing not only the time for the fastest lap but also the average and top speeds as well as the lap length. The AMG sports seats, interior door panels and armrests are upholstered in fine nappa leather. 20” Savany aluminum racing wheels are wrapped in brand new Hancook tires. You can view this 2006 Mercedes SL 65 AMG in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible! This prime example of the first-generation Corvette has been in one loving family for 45 years! Everyone loves a car with a story, and boy does this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette have one! This vehicle was purchased by the current owner sometime around 1975. From that point the car was enjoyed, maintained and restored. The Roman Red paint, while not perfect, shows nicely for being done in 1988. The engine, while not numbers matching, is a 340HP 327 V8 with correct numbers for the era according to the owners paperwork. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts nicely and performs as it should. The rear end is not posi-traction and spins 3.36 gears. There are some key photographs available from the frame-off restoration performed years ago. The work appears to have been correctly and meticulously. This is the perfect opportunity for a real drivers car, or an investment opportunity. 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
