Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present a 1963 Nova SS Gasser street car for sale in our Atlanta showroom. This recent build with just 1,200-miles, took part in the 2018 Power Tour, accounting for 840- of those miles. She is powered by a dual quad 355 cu in; 10.7-1 Hypermatic flat top pistons; with 59cc aluminum heads, driving through a Muncie M-21 close ratio transmission to a 10 bolt positraction rear end with 3:55 gears. The steel body is painted in the original Fawn Gold paint with heavy metallic, and the interior is the matching color, with light-weight bucket seats, lacking the rear seat. She screams like in the old days with the wheel well headers, and the sparkle in the paint. This car is a head turner, and a smile fetcher! The build information is documented, and contained in the file. Here is some history for those who would like background on this exciting style of dragster. The term Gasser refers to a style of drag race car that was prolific in the late 1950s through the 1960s that ran on gasoline as fuel, as opposed to race fuel. These cars typically competed in heads up drag races that were classed by engine size and car weight. In the faster classes the cars used a straight axle front suspension that produced the intimidating stance that gassers are known for. Easily recognized by common features like the higher front end stance that was developed as a means of weight transfer to the rear wheels for traction, this style became popular later as builders attempted to achieve a traditional or nostalgic race look. These cars became fan favorites as the well-known racers began to run grudge matches for higher purses. In no time these matches were the top billing at many shows due to the crowd entertainment factor. Gassers were the top drag racing classes in the period that is now referred to as the gasser war years, which ranged from 1955 through 1968.In addition to the straight axle, most gassers also sported Halibrand wheels, no front bumper, and had a front mounted Moon tank. The gasser form was dictated by function and most builders looked to eliminate as much weight as possible. Having their exhaust pipes exit through the front fender to shorten the length of exhaust tubing is another common characteristic of gassers. Builders used 1930s through 1950s production coupes or sedans to create these highly modified racing vehicles. Late model cars were not allowed in the Gas classes until 1967, and the gas classes were totally eliminated by NHRA in 1972. They run today all over the United States and down under in Australia and New Zealand in vintage and nostalgia drags. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this ultra-rare 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS. The Camaro was Chevy’s answer to the revolutionary Mustang that Ford had introduced in 64. Although it was late to the party there is no doubt that the Camaro had a huge impact and influence on the automotive industry. This 67 is an unbelievably rare find with options that were pieced together for a very specific customer. So, rare that you will only find a total of 17 of them ever made and probably the only one to exist today. This beautifully restored 67 has everything a collector is looking for from the complete original paperwork to the numbers matching drivetrain this one has all the boxes checked. Let’s start off with the most important thing when talking about a muscle car, the engine. This little Mustang eater is packing a serious punch with the original SS350/295 horse engine intact and completely rebuilt. Matched up to the exact power glide transmission it left the factory with this blue beauty rides and drives just like it should. As with the rest of the car the exterior was brought back to its original form. The Marina Blue paint is as slick as they come with the correct white vinyl top bringing the car back to original condition. The bias ply tires give the look and ride quality of a true 1967 Camaro with the Rally wheels being almost as iconic as the car itself. Open the door and this is where things get different. The bench seat is probably going to be the first thing you notice with a very limited number of Camaro’s, especially SS/RS cars, having that option. Then you notice the vinyl interior with the piping around the edges giving away the premium interior option. Not rare enough then you should flip down the back seat as it another highly rare option that many did not take advantage of. We have had a lot of cars come through our showroom but I don’t believe we have had one with such an array of options. Whether you are a collector looking for a on off piece or just an enthusiast looking for an incredibly clean first gen Camaro this car will make a great addition for either one. Options on this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS include, AC, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt, Power Windows, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts and Bias Ply Tires wrapped around Rally Wheels. This goregous 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Ford Mustang S code. After such a successful launch many were surprised that only after 2 years ford would do its first major redesign of the car that turned the auto world upside down. It would be longer and wider, but the wheel base would remain the same. The biggest news yet was the addition of the 390 to the already huge engine line up. This would be the first big block to go into a Mustang making these S code ponies’ highly desirable. This beauty has gone through a frame off restoration and looks as good as any on the market. The blue paint is slick and shows extremely well. The white racing stripes show this car means business and gives the car that classic pony car look. Those magnum 500 wheels look great on the car and were the right choice for this build. The GT package was a hot option for these cars with over 24000 opting for the sportier look and of course the dual exhaust. Under the hood is the 390 320 HP engine that made these cars so popular. This beauty ahs the rare option of AC, something not commonly found on these 390 cars as they were more intended for the enthusiast than your every day driver. Backed by the C6 transmission this big block pony car is as simple as dropping it in drive and hitting the gas. Inside you will see a nicely done interior that is period correct and looks like it came right out of 1967. The black buckets upfront have the center console coming in between them and reminding you what a true pony car should be. Housing the automatic shifter this car can be driven with ease and confidence by anyone who wishes to do so. Impala was the top of the line in Chevrolets fleet and started out as a package on the Bel Air. 1958 was the first year for the Impala and these cruisers are getting tough to find, and even tougher to afford! This one is reasonably priced and ready to cruise and enjoy! Description:

For sale in our Detroit showroom is an original steel body 1932 Ford Model B Roadster with a Rumble Seat. This is the real deal, all Henry Ford Steel! This car not only incorporates the iconic design of the late 20s and early 30s but also has a blast-from-the-past rumble seat that is perfect for the little ones. By the late 1920s the Model T was becoming less competitive in the market with other manufacturers offering more modern conveniences at reasonable prices. The folks at Ford fought to get old Henry to produce something that was good looking and reliable but also more sturdy and easier to drive and thus the Model B was born. This styling would later become one of the most iconic cars of the 1930s, and allowed families to travel longer distances with more comfort. Luckily, but the time the Model B came around, you could actually have it in any color you like. This particular roadster comes in a Henry Ford’s favorite color, black, which is paired perfectly with the dark brown interior. If you are looking for a real steel Model B that retains a large part of its originality and great drivability, then this is the Model B Roadster for you. There were less than 3500 Model B’s produced and this beauty is the real deal. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is very excited to offer what we believe is a rare 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury. This very fine example is like a time capsule for life back in the 50s! Talk about cars with fins! This extra fine example shows very well, someone laid a nice flat and straight black paint job, and the stainless steel trim is in unbelievably wonderful condition, as are the bumpers, and body side trim. It would take very little to take her to the next level - which would make her 1 of the nicest examples you may ever find, or just leave her as she sits - shes that nice now. This car can be brought to any car show, and gain attention from many - she stands out that much, you cant help but look! This Sport Fury is powered by a 1969 383 bored .30 over, 10:1 compression, balanced, Edlebrock aluminum heads, roller rockers, Mutha-Thumber camshaft, aluminum intake, Demon 750 carb, MSD distributor, Flame Thrower ignition, Marchs Front Runner serpentine belt assembly, mated to a rebuilt 1969 727 Torque Flight automatic transmission with 2800-rpm stall converter, and a 1987 Camaro posi-traction rear end. The consignor states her to be a California car, that was restored in the early 2000s, and passed on the information he was given 2-years ago when he bought her. This car was not only built to catch your eye, she was built to cruise! She was gifted to some basic upgrades that just takes her to the next level, such as 4-wheel disc brakes, p/s converted to gearbox pump, added a new power brake booster, and of course - a sound system. I can go on and on - but when you look her over - youll understand what were trying to convey. What really separates the uniqueness of this beauty is the front seat assembly - looks like a bench seat - when its actually bucket seats that swivel - and yet you can seat 3-people up front. Why would a design like this disappear? As stated, she was redone back to her birth colors, black exterior, red cloth/ vinyl interior that is just as nice as they come! Options for this 1959 Sport Fury include; cloth/vinyl interior, a/c, power steering, power brakes, 4-wheel brakes,am/fm/cd stereo, American Racing Torque Flight wheels, Toyo Spectrum Touring Radial tires P215/65R15. If youre looking for a 1950s Classic with Fins - look no further - you found her! But dont wait - as were sure this one will not last! Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this beastly 1971 Chevrolet Corvette. Powered by what is believed to be the original LS-5 454 big block Chevrolet V8 engine factory rated at 365 horsepower, this fiberglass performance machine is a rocket. With a 4-speed manual transmission, you are always able to get yourself right in the sweet spot for making power. That LS-5 under the hood didn’t stay at 365 horsepower, however. In 2007 this Corvette went through a full restoration, and that included a tear down of the big block to pump a bit more thump into it. It was bored .030” over and given a set of blueprinted oval port iron heads to maximize flow. True Corvette fans will note the strange color combination. One of today’s most popular colors, black, was never optioned in the ’71 model year. This vehicle was originally painted Ontario Orange with a Saddle interior. The restorer of the vehicle wanted to have an original big block car with black paint and blue interior, but it didn’t exist, so he made his own! During the restoration and entirely new fuel system, including gas tank and lines, were installed as well as a new ignition system and an overhaul on the A/C system. All of that work totaled north of $60,000 in receipts, and it shows. As one would expect, with all of that work this ‘Vette drives like a dream; plenty of power, smooth road feel, and easy to drive. This completely restored Corvette is beauty and the beast. It would look just as good sitting in a showroom in an aggressive pose to been shown off to friends and family as it would ripping through downtown after sunset showing the younger crowd what muscle really means. Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM, T-Tops, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires and Alloy Wheels. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this gorgeous restored 1968 Plymouth GTX for sale in our St. Louis showroom! The Plymouth GTX is an automobile introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 by the Plymouth division. It was positioned as a mid-sized upscale-trimmed performance muscle car through the 1971 model year. Chrysler introduced major changes in the design of the 1968 model Plymouth B-bodies and the GTX was given a completely new look. A new hourglass body replaced the previous rectilinear design. The engine is the numbers matching 440 cubic inch big block V8 with high-lift cam, Carter AVS 4-barrel carburetor, Hedman hedders, and more! Compression is 10.1:1 on that motor. The transmission is the standard, automatic TorqueFlite transmission. The Blue paint on this car look fantastic and really shines in the sun! The Blue interior shows excellent against the Blue exterior and makes it a real head turner. One look at this beautiful machine and you will be ready to make it yours and drive off in the sunset! Description:

1967 Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this handsome 1967 Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 featured in black with beige leather interior. This car comes to us from 25 years in a local collection. The car has had three owners and recorded 92,265 KM (Approximately 54k miles) most of which were put on by the first two owners. It is in largely original condition with one respray and is best characterized as a high level driver. When Lamborghini, a respected Italian manufacturer of tractors and farm equipment, set out to build a better Grand Tourer than Ferrari, he hired the best in the industry and debuted with the 350GT. While the 350GT was well received, Lamborghini produced 23 350GTs with an enlarged 4-liter version of their V-12 and called them 400GTs. The new Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 was introduced at Geneva in 1966. It was comfortably appointed, a capable cruiser at speeds above 150 mph, and had two small rear seats for four hypothetical occupants. The car broadened Lamborghinis appeal as it offered more power and more seating than its 350GT predecessor. For the 400GT 2+2 the differential and rear suspension were modified to lower the floor pan. Only 247 cars were produced from 1966 to 1968. The new Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 was sheathed in steel bodywork that was thoroughly revised by Touring in order to accommodate the back seats while preserving the 350GTs attractive proportions, resulting in almost every panel on the car being new in spite of its likeness to the previous car. The 2+2 had four headlights instead of the 350GTs two, but numerous other features of the 400GT 2+2 improved upon and set it apart from the 350GT. In addition to the larger and more powerful 320-hp 3929-cc version of the wonderful Bizzarini-designed six-Weber V-12, Lamborghini also introduced their own five-speed gearbox that by all accounts was easier to use and quieter than the 350GTs ZF unit. Changes to the four-wheel independent suspension were also introduced to accommodate the cars 400 extra pounds of weight. Reviews at the time compared the car favorably in handling and performance to its Ferrari contemporaries. Our car runs and drives well and exhibits honest patina. Few of the delightful Grand Touring cars survive and they are worthy rivals of Ferraris mid and late 1960s Grand Tourers.

Description:

For sale in our Kansas City showroom is this 1965 Ford Cobra Replica! Everybody love a Cobra, and thanks to the latest Hollywood film Ford v. Ferrari we are seeing more and more come out of the woodwork. This beauty is a 2009 Hurricane Motorsports kit with a bored 390 V8 under the hood making for a 406 cid displacement. She runs well and sounds even better coming out of those chrome exhaust pipes. Walking around the car you see something different from most of these cars. It is shot in a wonderful Rangoon Red that shows nicely and shines incredibly well in the sun. The black vinyl interior is as expected in a Cobra and has very little wear and tear. Many of the aesthetics of this build are very correct for what the original Cobras were. Many will be taken aback by the reverse winding speedometer, but that is correct for the original Cobras. Many details throughout this car are documented and correct. There are many other features that have been upgraded to give a better feel that some of the original parts. If you talk to people who have owned or driven real 427 Cobras they are a handful. Having a build that has a powerful, but tamer engine makes for a much more enjoyable experience. The transmission is a TKO600 5 speed manual that shifts smooth and runs out great. Push back to the 9 inch Ford limited slip differential with 370 gears and you will be grinning mile after mile. There is a great build sheet on file to answer any other curiosities and this is a great build waiting for its new owner!
